The Omega of Apostasy | Pantheism

and

 The Trinity Doctrine

"One thing it is certain is soon to be realized, the great apostasy, which is developing and increasing and waxing stronger, and will continue to do so until the Lord shall descend from heaven with a shout. We are to hold fast the first principles of our denominated faith, and go forward from strength to increased faith. Ever we are to keep the faith that has been substantiated by the Holy Spirit of God from the earlier events of our experience until the present time. We need now larger breadth, and deeper, more earnest, unwavering faith in the leadings of the Holy Spirit. If we needed the manifest proof of the Holy Spirit's power to confirm truth in the beginning, after the passing of the time, we need to-day all the evidence in the confirmation of the truth, when souls are departing from the faith and giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. There must not be any languishing of soul now." (E.G. White, Special Testimonies, Series B, No. 7, p. 57).

The first objective of this manuscript is to purvey the characteristics of the Alpha of Apostasy in the professing Seventh-day Adventist church as it related to John Harvey Kellogg’s book The Living Temple. The second objective is to draw parallels between the alpha and the omega heresies and to show how the SDA church and all formally organized Protestant churches are totally immersed in pantheism and doctrines of devils today, and why this apostasy will continue to wax stronger until Jesus comes.

The context of the following statement discusses the alpha and omega of apostasy. Ellen White prophesied that the great apostasy then developing in the SDA church, and all churches, would wax stronger and continue to do so until Jesus descends from heaven with a shout.

Wax stronger "One thing it is certain is soon to be realized, the great apostasy, which is developing and increasing and waxing stronger, and will continue to do so until the Lord shall descend from heaven with a shout. 7, p. 57).

Accepting That Which Pleases One’s Ideas and Removing Pillars of Our Faith

"The enemy will set everything in operation to uproot the confidence of the believers in the pillars of our faith in the messages of the past, which have placed us upon the elevated platform of eternal truth, and which have established and given character to the work. The Lord God of Israel has led out His people, unfolding to them truth of heavenly origin." "The truth for this time is precious, but those whose hearts have not been broken by falling on the Rock Christ Jesus, will not see and understand what is truth. They will accept that which pleases their ideas, and will begin to manufacture another foundation than that which is laid. They will flatter their own vanity and esteem, thinking that they are capable of removing the pillars of our faith, and replacing them with pillars they have devised. This will continue to be as long as time shall last." Notebook, Leaflets, pp. 61-62.

I would like to demonstrate an example of the faulty reasoning employed by some SDA thought leaders and just how they have accepted that which pleases their own ideas, and manufactured another foundation to the point of removing pillars of our faith, replacing them with doctrines of devils.

The following example is excerpted from Dr. A. Leroy Moore’s book Adventism in Conflict, pp. 5-7. Here is an on-line link to the book: http://www.friendsofsabbath.org/Further_Research/SDAs/Adventism%20in%20Conflict.pdf

In the following quote from the book, Moore is quoting John Witcombe, who was involved with the false Lord Our Righteousness (LOR) movement. Moore makes it clear that he agrees with Witcombe.

Quoting:

How to Deal With Members Who Join Separation Movements

“John's success in LOR testifies to the profound tensions that threaten Adventist unity. The church has never been as united as nostalgic memories of the past suggest, but neither has it known a time of greater division than we experience now. To better illustrate the kind of issues that precipitate our growing division, I now return to John's message to the pastors and elders with its vital insights--insights that I develop more fully in the chapters that follow.

"What can we do for members who have joined a separation movement?" Witcombe asked. ‘It would be nice if we could simply point out the other 3 Fs like Jesus did for those two disciples on the road to Emmaus.’ But notice when it was that Jesus was finally able to get those disciples to see the other 3 Fs. He had to wait until everything had fallen apart for them. `Then He said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken.'

"Jesus had tried to explain all that to them before, but they could not see it. Likewise, apologetics had little impact on those of us in the Lord Our Righteousness movement. We had a ready answer for everything someone might throw at us.

"So what can we do for those who join a separation movement? We can pray for humbling circumstances, such as the disciples faced, that will make them able and willing to see `all that the prophets have spoken.' Of course, it is helpful if we ourselves are not one-sided in our view of truth.

"It's a struggle to bring together the various aspects of truth on any polarized issue. Remember the quote I started with? `Your only safety is in coming to Christ and ceasing from sin this very moment.' This beautiful truth highlights the urgency of the hour.

"But it is also true that, `Day by day the mists of selfishness and sin that envelop the soul are dispelled by the bright beams of the Son of Righteousness' (PP 134).

"If you come down on just one of those two sides, and build that one side to the neglect of the other, you may have difficulty experiencing the fullness of the gospel. But how do we connect `ceasing from sin this very moment' to `dispelling sin day by day'?

"It's really quite elementary. (It only took me 17 years to figure it out!) Our decision and commitment is that sin must cease in our lives today. However, the depth of our sin problem is such that it cannot be dealt with in one day. Both sides have to be brought together. Like a car battery, nothing works until we connect both the positive and negative poles.

"But what about Mrs. White's statement: `We hoped that there would not be the necessity for another coming out'?

"We'll call that the negative pole of truth. Now notice the positive pole: `No advice or sanction is given in the Word of God to those who believe the third angel's message to lead them to suppose that they can draw apart. This you may settle with yourselves forever' (reference).

"Which do you prefer, the positive or the negative pole?

Ron’s Commentary: Witcombe and Moore hereby prove that it is possible to “appear” to consider both sides (positive and negative) and still come to a wrong conclusion by not discerning and/or ignoring very important qualifying parts of an E.G. White statement. Those all important qualifying parts of Ellen White’s statement are: “…to those who believe the third angel’s message.”

It is manifest unbelief in the three angel’s messages and gross violation of them, as well as the Midnight Cry, which Ellen White said gave power to the second angel’s message, to in any way violate the strictly forbidden Word of God in Isaiah 8:9-12, to associate, take counsel, gird and/or confederate with God’s enemies and to fear their fear. This, the SDA church has done by ecumenical liaison with Babylon’s associations and world and national councils.

Weight of Evidence Formula Versus Positive/Negative Theology Which Picks the Positive

Weight of Evidence Formula: "1. Every word must have its proper bearing on the subject presented in the Bible 2. All Scripture is necessary, and may be understood by diligent application and study 3. Nothing revealed in Scripture can or will be hid from those who ask in faith, not wavering 4. To understand doctrine, bring all the scriptures together on the subject you wish to know, then let every word have its proper influence and if you can form your theory without a contradiction, you cannot be in error 5. Scripture must be its own expositor, [interpreter] since it is a rule of itself. If I depend on a teacher to expound to me, and he should guess at its meaning, or desire to have it so on account of his sectarian creed, or to be thought wise, then his guessing, desire, creed, or wisdom is my rule, and not the Bible." E.G. White, Second Advent Review and Herald, 11-25-84, pr. 24.

In considering EVERY WORD of all the weight of evidence as we are admonished by Ellen White to do, some of us KNOW that the three angel’s messages and the Midnight Cry Light have been compromised by the SDA church via its ecumenical liaisons with Babylon’s councils.

 In taking EVERY WORD into consideration, we must consider that Ellen White warned us of the UNBELIEF of the leaders in Testimonies, Vol. 5, p. 211, to wit:

Begin at My Sanctuary -- "Here we see that the church--the Lord's sanctuary--was the first to feel the stroke of the wrath of God. The ancient men, those to whom God had given great light and who had stood as guardians of the spiritual interests of the people, had betrayed their trust. They had taken the position that we need not look for miracles and the marked manifestation of God's power as in former days. Times have changed. These words strengthen their unbelief, and they say: The Lord will not do good, neither will He do evil. He is too merciful to visit His people in judgment. Thus 'Peace and safety" is the cry from men who will never again lift up their voice like a trumpet to show God's people their transgressions and the house of Jacob their sins. These dumb dogs that would not bark are the ones who feel the just vengeance of an offended God. Men, maidens, and little children all perish together." E. G. White, Testimonies, Vol. 5, 211.

Unbelief in what? What is the sacred trust committed to professing Seventh-day Adventists? It is the three angel’s messages and the Midnight Cry light of Matthew 25, which gave power to the second angel’s message in calling us out of Babylon in 1844 and on. This unbelief has progressed to the point where local SDA Conference Presidents are instructing their ministers not to teach the three angel’s messages and that their employment is CONDITIONAL to that stipulation. Do you know how serious that abomination is? Here is the proof: http://vimeo.com/12314409

It’s Difficult to TAKE EVERY WORD When the Leaders Decide What we Will Have

The following statements makes it clear that evidence is being withheld by the leaders, but if God has not given us sufficient evidence to KNOW A CORRECT COURSE regarding the apostasy, then He could not hold us responsible for ANY COURSE. He could not hold us responsible for sighing and crying for all the abominations in the church and for making a correct response to those abominations involving unpardonable sin apostasy and heresy.

"In the very courts of the temple, scenes will be enacted that few realize. God's people will be proved and tested, that He may discern 'between him that serveth God and him that serveth Him not.' Vengeance will be executed against those who sit in the gate, deciding what the people should have and what they should not have. These take away the key of knowledge. They refuse to enter in themselves, and those who would enter in they hinder. These bear not the seal of the living God. All who now occupy responsible positions should be solemnly and terribly afraid lest in this time they shall be found as unfaithful stewards." E.G. White, Manuscript 15, 1886, Paulson Collection, p. 55.

Conclusion: Both John  Witcombe and Dr. A. Leroy Moore think they considered both sides of an important E.G. White statement, but they both missed important qualifying words. Thus, they made a damning and serious wrong conclusion. End Ron’s comments.

“Which terminal on your battery do you concentrate on in getting your car started? Your answer, of course, is that we must connect both. For neither without the other transmits power. Notice this negative pole of truth found in Manuscript Releases:”

"`Take the young men and women, and place them where they will come into as little contact with our churches as possible, that the low grade of piety which is current in this day shall not leaven their ideas of what it means to be a Christian' (MR 995).

"We kind of wish these quotes and those who bring them to our attention just didn't exist. However, we ought to say to them, `Yes, that is one of my favorite quotations.' And then show them how it fits with its contrasting pole, such as:

"`When anyone is drawing apart from the organized body of God's commandment-keeping people ... then you may know that God is not leading him. He is on the wrong track' (3SM 18).

"We sense strong tension between these poles of truth for a good reason. On one hand Mrs. White speaks of possible necessity for separation, but on the other hand she tells us to settle within yourselves forever that there will be no drawing apart. This tension is designed to prevent us from developing a blind confidence in the institution of the church while, at the same time, preventing us from jumping ship because everything on board is not in order.”

Ron’s Commentary: Ellen White’s statement Witcombe refers to DID NOT ONLY SPEAK OF POSSIBLE NECESSITY FOR SEPARATION, it clearly instructed Haskell to take the youth away from the church, and he did so! Witcombe’s statement is a lie that Moore is also responsible for. I will reiterate her comment:

"Take the young men and women, and place them where they will come into as little contact with our churches as possible, that the low grade of piety which is current in this day shall not leaven their ideas of what it means to be a Christian' (MR 995).

"Brother and sister Haskell have rented a house in one of the best parts of the city, and have gathered round them a family of helpers, who day by day go out giving Bible readings, selling our papers, and doing medical missionary work. During the hour of worship, the workers relate their experiences. Bible studies are regularly conducted in the home, and THE YOUNG MEN AND YOUNG WOMEN connected with the mission receive a practical, thorough training in holding Bible readings and in selling our publications. The Lord has blessed their labors, a number have embraced the truth, and many others are deeply interested." Review and Herald, September 7, 1905, Evangelism, p. 108.

Ron’s further comment: In response to the above NEGATIVE statement, Witcombe presents the following POSITIVE statement:

"When anyone is drawing apart from the organized body of God's commandment-keeping people ... then you may know that God is not leading him. He is on the wrong track' (3SM 18).

One would think that between the minds of Witcombe and the bright mind of Dr. A. Leroy Moore, at least one of them would discern that their presentation of these two statements presents a dilemma that makes Ellen White a self-contradictory, false prophet if their obviously intended interpretation is the conclusion of the matter!

Which statement is correct? Was Ellen White errant in her instruction to take the young men and women where they would come in as little contact to the churches as possible, or, her diametrically opposite statement saying “When anyone is drawing apart from the organized body of God’s commandment-keeping people, God is not leading him. He is on the wrong track?!

Was God not leading Ellen White because she made the first statement, which “apparently” directly contradicts the second statement? By the positive/negative theology of taking two statements and choosing the one (positive) which pleases their ideas, Witcombe and Moore make a comedy/tragedy out of the two statements by Ellen White, which WITHOUT QUALIFICATION, that neither of them provide, makes Ellen White grossly contradict herself!

Here again, Witcombe and Moore pretend they are considering both sides of an issue, and coming to a rational, honest conclusion, when they could not be further from the truth!

The Qualifying Words of Ellen White’s Statement Which Resolve the Two Statements

The all important qualifying words which sanction Ellen White’s position, and keep her from gross self-contradiction, are: “…God’s commandment-keeping people.”

"`When anyone is drawing apart from the organized body of God's commandment-keeping people ... then you may know that God is not leading him. He is on the wrong track' (3SM 18).

This is all very, very serious friends. Follow me closely.

If God’s people were keeping the commandments at the time Ellen White said to take the young men and women as far away from the churches as possible” during the Kellogg crisis circa 1901-1905, then Ellen White was guilty of violating her own statement against drawing apart from the organized body! She was instructing Haskell to draw the youth apart from the organized body, and by this act, and her own words in the other statement that God was not leading any who did such a thing, God was not leading her! But that was not the case.  Witcombe and the great thinker he usually is—Dr. Leroy Moore, presented two statements by Ellen White that apparently indict her of being guilty of violating her own words!

Witcombe goes on to say: “"If we take just one side of truth, ignoring the other or use the one to diminish the other, we are in just as much danger of deception sitting here in the true church as is the separatist who clings to the other side of truth out there in his home church. The wise will believe and accept both poles as true, permitting their unity to lead them into a deeper level of understanding regarding the church and their relationship to it." End quote from Moore’s book Adventism in Crisis.

Witcombe and Moore thought they took BOTH POLES, two diametrically contradictory statements, without respect to the proper qualifying words and circumstances at the time (TIME, PLACE AND CIRCUMSTANCE) and came to a foolish, self-contradictory position. All any sane person could conclude from their conclusions is:

1.    Ellen White advocated withdrawing the youth from our churches—the organized church.

2.    Ellen White was advocating drawing the youth apart from God’s organized church, so you may know God was not leading her; she was on the wrong track! That is all you can conclude from the negative/positive statements as rendered by Witcombe and Moore! They did not take all of the evidence and resolve the dilemma of making Ellen White a self-contradictory prophet!

The answer to the apparent dilemma is the fact that the church was not keeping the commandments of God! So Ellen White was not telling Haskell to take the youth away from the organized church that was keeping the commandments of God.

My Dear Brother:

I am given a message to bear to you and the rest of our physicians who are connected with the Medical Missionary Association. Separate from the influence exerted by the book Living Temple; [A 568-page book issued in 1903 by Dr. J. H. Kellogg in which pantheistic philosophies were promulgated.—Compilers.] for it contains specious sentiments. There are in it sentiments that are entirely true, but these are mingled with error. Scriptures are taken out of their connection, and are used to uphold erroneous theories. {1SM 199.1}

“I am instructed to speak plainly. “Meet it,” is the word spoken to me. “Meet it firmly, and without delay.” But it is not to be met by our taking our working forces from the field to investigate doctrines and points of difference. We have no such investigation to make. In the book Living Temple there is presented the alpha of deadly heresies. The omega will follow, and will be received by those who are not willing to heed the warning God has given.” {1SM 200.1}

The Alpha and Omega and What They Share in Common

“Be not deceived; many will depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. We have now before us the alpha of this danger. The omega WILL BE OF A MOST STARTLING NATURE.-- Testimonies, Series B, No. 2, p. 16, written July 24, 1904.

 Lewis Walton, in his very popular book, Omega, ventured to probe the meaning behind that statement given by Sister White. He made a most intuitive, insightful statement that has proven true:

  “Remember that alpha and omega are two letters at the polar extremes of the same alphabet. They are linked by something in common, yet they look in opposite directions. There is a significance here that becomes apparent with a little reflection. -- Omega p. 53.

 Now follow the logical symbolism of two letters, sharing the subject matter of a common alphabet but located at opposite extremes. If the alpha is in error regarding the role of Christ in salvation, and if it points in one direction in the Greek alphabet, is it possible that the omega will also misinterpret the work of Christ while pointing opposite? To put it another way, is there a possibility that the omega of "deadly heresies" will try to put Christ totally outside a man, thus introducing confusion over sanctification because it makes salvation totally external? – Lewis Walton, Omega, p. 54.

In this manuscript, I will prove how in the alpha of apostasy, Kellogg’s book The Living Temple made salvation totally external. I will prove how in the omega of apostasy, the Trinity Doctrine makes salvation totally external.

“In the future, deception of every kind is to arise, and we want solid ground for our feet. We want solid pillars for the building. Not one pin is to be removed from that which the Lord has established. THE ENEMY WILL BRING IN FALSE THEORIES, SUCH AS THE DOCTRINE THAT THERE IS NO SANCTUARY. This is one of the points on which there will be a departing from the faith. Where shall we find safety unless it be in the truths that the Lord has been giving for the last fifty years?” -- RH May 25, 1905.

“I have been instructed by the heavenly messenger that some of the reasoning in the book Living Temple is unsound, and that this reasoning would lead astray the minds of those who are not thoroughly established on the foundation principles of present truth. It introduces that which is nought but speculation in regard to the personality of God and where His presence is. No one on this earth has a right to speculate on this question. The more fanciful theories are discussed, the less men will know of God and of the truth that sanctifies the soul.” {1SM 201.3}

“We need not the mysticism that is in this book. Those who entertain these sophistries will soon find themselves in a position where the enemy can talk with them, and lead them away from God. It is represented to me that the writer of this book is on a false track. He has lost sight of the distinguishing truths for this time. He knows not whither his steps are tending. The track of truth lies close beside the track of error, and both tracks may seem to be one to minds which are not worked by the Holy Spirit, and which, therefore, are not quick to discern the difference between truth and error.” {1SM 202.2}

“As we read, I recognized the very sentiments against which I had been bidden to speak in warning during the early days of my public labors. When I first left the State of Maine, it was to go through Vermont and Massachusetts, to bear a testimony against these sentiments. Living Temple contains the alpha of these theories. I knew that the omega would follow in a little while; and I trembled for our people. I knew that I must warn our brethren and sisters not to enter into controversy over the presence and personality of God. The statements made in Living Temple in regard to this point are incorrect. The scripture used to substantiate the doctrine there set forth, is scripture misapplied. {1SM 203.2}

Note: It should be carefully noted that accepting, believing and defending the evidence we have in the Bible and from the Spirit of Prophecy on the presence and personality of God, is not entering into controversy over such. Ellen White was referring to the controversy some Adventists entered regarding Kellogg’s errors on these issues.

Indeed, Ellen White said that the personality of God and Christ, as understood by the pioneers, constituted pillar, landmark doctrine. Certainly we are to understand something that is a pillar and a landmark. rb

Discussing the personality of God vs. Debating the personality of God

Ellen White said that the Godhead, the personality of God and Christ is a pillar, landmark doctrine. How could that subject be a PILLAR, LANDMARK DOCTRINE, and we are not even to discuss it? What is the context of Ellen White's statement that we are not to debate the personality of God? What is the little known weight of evidence on this issue?

Is it not strange that there are those who try to BRING IN theories that would remove the pillars of our faith concerning the Sanctuary or concerning THE PERSONALITY OF GOD OR CHRIST, but we are to know nothing about the personality of God and Christ, and cannot discuss it? Does that make sense?

Godhead as a pillar doctrine -- Personality of God and of Christ Landmarks: "Those who seek to remove the old landmarks are not holding fast they are not remembering how they have received and heard. Those who try to bring in theories that would remove the pillars of our faith concerning the sanctuary or concerning the personality of God or of Christ, are working as blind men. They are seeking to bring in uncertainties and to set the people of God adrift without an anchor." {MR760 9.5}

Ellen White to Kellogg in the Alpha

"You are not definitely clear on the personality of God, which is everything to us as a people. You have virtually destroyed the Lord God Himself." EGW letter 300 1903.

Did you get that? THE PERSONALITY OF GOD IS EVERYTHING TO US AS A PEOPLE, YET SOME LIKE BRYAN BISSELL ROBERT SESSLER AND NICHOLAS PETULA ARE TEACHING THAT IT IS A MYSTERY UPON WHICH SILENCE IS GOLDEN! They are making the foolish error of confounding the nature of the Holy Spirit with the personality of God. We can know much about the personality of God from the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy. We know that God is love. We know that His law is a transcript of His character of self-scrificing love. We know that He is subject to what He requires of man. We know what Ellen White said about the prescribed limit of a sacrifice involving the Incarnation. We know the Testator’s Covenant in the Bible. We know the definition of the Holy Spirit via the Bible and Ellen White. We know His history of dealing with man since the creation of man. That history reveals much about His personality.

Ellen White warned not to get into debate with Kellogg on the issue of the Godhead and the personality of God, because he was so cunning and deceptive. She said she could not safely get into a discussion with him because he was so devious of mind and would confuse things so badly. Thus her statement that silence on the issue was golden when it came to debating or discussing it with Kellogg! These other statements condoning the study and how we might profit from it totally contradict the position of those who don't want to know the truth on the issue and are disobedient apostates who cannot understand it (spiritually discern it).

“Few can discern the result of entertaining the sophistries advocated by some at this time. But the Lord has lifted the curtain, and has shown me the result that would follow. The spiritualistic theories regarding the personality of God, followed to their logical conclusion, sweep away the whole Christian economy. They estimate as nothing the light that Christ came from heaven to give John to give to His people. They teach that the scenes just before us are not of sufficient importance to be given special attention. They make of no effect the truth of heavenly origin, and rob the people of God of their past experience, giving them instead a false science.” {1SM 203.4}

If you want to find men teaching that there is no heavenly sanctuary among many other heresies, you would have to visit and check our seminary, colleges, and maybe even some of our very pulpits. This has often been cited even by able leaders of the denomination who still occupy position, as the cause of the commotion today between the denominational organization and the private self-supporting ministries. You can see that people among us are bringing what they claim is the new "Gospel" that forbids discussion on the special revelations of prophecy given to the Adventist Church. You can see all over the denomination that ministers refuse to teach these things as the Papacy gets ready to strike, saying that neither Christ nor salvation are in them, even though Christ Himself gave these revelations and commanded them to be preached.

Pastor John Osborne, who was ONCE one of the notable modern day "detractors" of the apostate SDA leaders, and who was disfellowshipped from the organization, gave testimony of an argument he had with one of his professors when he attended Southern College in 1979. Listen closely to what he stated:

  I remember when I went to Southern Missionary College in 1979. It was still called that back then. I would sit in my theology classes and go head to head with my theology professor in almost every class. I didn't want to be a troublemaker; but I wasn't about to sit there and listen to that professor deride our fundamental doctrines and make our fundamental beliefs objects of ridicule!

 I had one professor who attacked character perfection, and said, "There was no way sinful man could stop sinning before the Second Coming." He said that the Hundred and Forty Four Thousand was just a symbolic number that represented all the saved. It did not specify a special group of people who had victory over sin in their lives.

I had another professor who said 1844 was a bunch of bunk! That we as Seventh-day Adventists couldn't keep defending this fallacy. He also said that THERE WAS NO LITERAL SANCTUARY IN HEAVEN. And when I defended the heavenly sanctuary the professor asked, "John, does the sanctuary up in heaven have walls?" And I said, "Yes sir." He then said, "Does it have a roof?" And I said, "Why of course it does sir." He then asked, "Why? Does it rain!" and everybody laughed! That was the big joke in class that day!

You see friend I was 28 years old. I had been reading and studying and I knew what I believed. I had this Adventist message and the Spirit of Prophecy taught to me in my highchair, and these professors weren't about to bamboozle me. And many of my classes became scenes of heated theological discussion as I heard our Seventh-day Adventist theology being rearranged.—Pastor John Osborne in his Celebration video #3.”

The sad truth is that finally, the same leaders Osborne lambasted above, finally bamboozled him back into the Synagogue of Satan, where he is now corporately responsible for all the gross unpardonable sin apostasies he used to sigh and cry about.

“Many are acquainted with the "Issues" tract and book which were published against the "certain private organizations." Before these documents were published, the NAD leaders sent letters to noted and distinguished individuals seeking written condemnation upon these ministries. Of course, anyone hating criticism would not participate in such an endeavor; yet those are the things which take place just before an organization is conquered. A certain Professor at Andrews University for whom our NAD leaders had much respect, received one such letter. His name was Dr. C. Mervyn Maxwell, Professor of Church History. Here is an excerpt of the lengthy published letter of caution he wrote back to the NAD leadership, or Elder Robert Dale in particular:

“One of the seething causes of the current wave of unofficial publications is frustration with disenfranchisement. Church leadership, apparently intent on retaining our educated liberals, has politically and editorially found ways to give several of the denomination's colleges, periodicals, and key administrative positions to educated liberals. Time after time our conservatives, the ones who still read the Spirit of Prophecy, have been frustrated. THEIR ARTICLES HAVE BEEN REJECTED BY DENOMINATIONAL EDITORS. And even when they have written "letters to the editor," too often their letters haven't been published unless a contrary letter was available for publication next to theirs, to make their letters look foolish. All of this maneuvering has left many of our thinking conservatives frustrated. But they love our church more than they love their money. They are alarmed at the way things are going because they care enough to be alarmed; and so, well, they speak up through their own publications, and they put their money where their mouths and hearts are. . . .

Perhaps, however, we should say more precisely that certain views which had been held for some time by a small minority were, in the 1950s, reformulated, given new emphasis, and taken up by a group of those Adventists who enjoyed the advantage of attending our schools. I believe in our schools, of course (I teach in one), but I observe that the theological cleavage which exists today among conservative NAD Adventists is largely between those who have studied the writings of non-SDA theologians in our colleges on the one hand and, on the other hand, those who, deprived of an SDA college education, have confined their study mostly to the Bible and the writings of Ellen G. White. I am repeatedly struck with the way new converts, fresh from the study of the Bible and Ellen G. White, side with the older SDA theology, while so-called "second-" and "third-generation" Adventists trend to side with the new theology. . . .

Old-theology conservatives such as the editors of Our Firm Foundation [one of the, we are told: "Destructively critical self-supporting ministries"] are frequently criticized for bringing up the issue [concerning the nature of Christ]. BUT LET’S FACE IT: THEY DIDN’T START THE ARGUMENT! The argument was started publicly by the 1949 edition of Bible Readings, by the 1957 publication of Questions on Doctrine, and by certain Seminary professors and others in the years that followed. And the pot has been kept boiling by the new-theology liberals and conservatives, who now control several of our magazines and colleges.

ONE RECALLS THE OLD QUIP, "YOU STARTED THE FIGHT WHEN YOU HIT ME BACK."

The fact that new-theology people control the chief NAD publications and colleges represents choices made by entities of the NAD. Choices involve consequences. If NAD entities have chosen such editors and presidents, NAD must expect a reaction. It is in my opinion irresponsible and unsportsmanlike for NAD to choose partisans of new-theology views which have not been officially accepted by the General Conference and then cry foul when loyal church members publish evidence in favor of the old-theology views which they committed themselves to when they became Seventh-day Adventists.

I have just spoken about the convictions of people who adopted certain understandings when they became Seventh-day Adventists. If church leadership thinks the time has come to teach different views from the views being taught when these people became Seventh-day Adventists, that is one thing. But to treat people as rebellious, heretical, disloyal, and legalist because they choose to continue to believe what they sincerely committed themselves to years ago, seems gross and boorish.”  Dr. C. Mervyn Maxwell, Professor of Church History.

“The Lord will put new, vital force into His work as human agencies obey the command to go forth and proclaim the truth. He who declared that His truth would shine forever will proclaim this truth through faithful messengers, who will give the trumpet a certain sound. The truth will be criticized, scorned, and derided; but the closer it is examined and tested, the brighter it will shine.” {1SM 201.1}

“As a people, we are to stand firm on the platform of eternal truth that has withstood test and trial. We are to hold to the sure pillars of our faith. The principles of truth that God has revealed to us are our only true foundation. They have made us what we are. The lapse of time has not lessened their value. It is the constant effort of the enemy to remove these truths from their setting, and to put in their place spurious theories. He will bring in everything that he possibly can to carry out his deceptive designs. But the Lord will raise up men of keen perception, who will give these truths their proper place in the plan of God.” {1SM 201.2}

How, Why, Was the Church Not Keeping the Commandments of God in the Kellogg Crisis of 1901-1905?

·       For a time, the church failed to separate open, heretical sin in the church, FROM THE CHURCH. The open, heretical sin in the church was that of believing and selling Kellogg’s book The Living Temple.

·       “The time has come when our people should understand that it is not profitable for them to spend their time and talents in selling the medical work into which the author is weaving dangerous spiritual sophistries. [A book by John Harvey Kellogg, M.D., titled The Living Temple, in which the teachings of pantheism appeared.]—Letter 66. 1907. {PM 314.2}

·       Ellen White said that Pantheism renders the Sanctuary/Atonement GONE! That was GROSS OPEN SIN APOSTASY IN THE CAMP. That broke every commandment of God in principle and did away with the entire Christian economy which I will explain later in this manuscript.

·       Sanctuary Gone Atonement Gone -- "In a representation which passed before me, I saw a certain work being done by medical missionary workers. Our ministering brethren were looking on, watching what was being done, but they did not seem to understand. The foundation of our faith, which was established by so much prayer, such earnest searching of the Scriptures, was being taken down, pillar by pillar. Our faith was to have nothing to rest upon--the sanctuary was gone, the atonement was gone." E.G. White, The Upward Look, 152.

·       The ministers did not have a clue what was happening! God says that they ALL cannot understand, Isaiah 56:10-12. Read it!

·       The Sanctuary was GONE! The Atonement was rendered GONE! The entire Christian economy was swept away in one svelte swoop, and the ministers were clueless dumb-dogs, Isaiah 56:10-12.

·       "The spiritualistic theories regarding the personality of God [the Godhead], followed to their logical conclusion, sweep away the whole Christian economy. They estimate as nothing the light that Christ came from heaven to give John to give to His people. They teach that the scenes just before us are not of sufficient importance to be given special attention. They make of no effect the truth of heavenly origin, and rob the people of God of their past experience, giving them instead a false science." E.G. White, 1SM, p. 204.

·       "Those who seek to remove the old landmarks are not holding fast they are not remembering how they have received and heard. Those who try to bring in theories that would remove the pillars of our faith concerning the sanctuary or concerning the personality of God or of Christ, are working as blind men. They are seeking to bring in uncertainties and to set the people of God adrift without an anchor." {MR760 9.5}

·       The personality of God or of Christ, by the above statement, is a pillar of our faith. These are very important points to remember as we move on to the omega of apostasy!

How the Alpha of Apostasy Removed the Sanctuary/Atonement

Kellogg’s book, Living Temple, taught that God is in everything. Christ is God, so Christ would thus be in everything (Pantheism). This teaching obfuscates the necessity of the Incarnation sacrifice in the heavenly Sanctuary/Atonement which met the prescribed limit of a sacrifice BEFORE THE CROSS. If Christ was already in everything—all living matter, from eternity, that would involve no sacrifice on His part in order to indwell us and give us His Holy Spirit, the soul of His life.

Even more seriously, pantheism totally negates the Testator’s Everlasting Covenant, whereby the Testator (The Son of God) covenanted to relinquish His Divine Only state of Being, to be forever after combined with humanity. If Christ was already IN HUMANITY via pantheism, it would be rather superfluous, redundant and foolish to go through the Incarnation Sacrifice process to achieve something He already had attained from eternity!

The Biblical Prescribed Limit as a Sacrifice

The only concept in Scripture that mentions a prescribed limit as a sacrifice is the price paid relative to the pardon for our sin—the wages of sin, which is eternal death. The Testator must die to something FOREVER, ETERNALLY, for that is the wages of sin—not death for three days and nights in a tomb. What our Saviour died to FOREVER, is His former existence as a DIVINE ONLY BEING. That, considering the attributes He divested Himself of FOREVER, was the greatest, “highest good, crowning sacrifice” which heaven could bestow, says Ellen White.

"The darkness rolled away from the Saviour and from the Cross. Christ bowed His head and died. In His Incarnation He had reached the prescribed limit as a sacrifice, but not as a redeemer." E.G. White Manuscript Releases Volume Twelve, p. 409.

The Everlasting Covenant of the Testator – The Son of God

Hebrews 9:16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.

Hebrews 9:17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

Pantheism being the teaching that the presence of God is in everything via God's Holy Spirit, from creation, would by-pass the Incarnation sacrifice that availed the gift of the Holy Spirit which was for the express purpose of bequeathing to man, NOT NATURE, the gift of the Holy Ghost for empowerment to overcome sin and for being regenerated back into the image of God, which man was created in.

If Christ's Holy Spirit was in everthing, INCLUDING MAN, from creation of the world, then His Incarnation was not necessary in order to bequeath that highest good, crowing gift to man, thus rendering the Sanctuary Service and the Atonement unnecessary (GONE) as well, because the Holy Spirit would already have been in man and all created matter WITHOUT THE INCARNATION AND THE INCARNATION TYPIFIED IN THE SACRIFICAL SERVICE OF ISRAEL (SEE QUOTE FURTHER DOWN).

And what’s more, pantheism would of necessity imply that God’s Holy Spirit can dwell in sinful flesh and that is not true. If the Spirit of God existed in man from eternity, that would include the time after man sinned. If the Spirit of God was already in man WHEN AND WHILE HE SINNED, of what virtue would that  Spirit be if it did not preclude sin in man?!

As for the matter involving the heavenly Sanctuary and Atonement service at the Incarnation, let us remember that the earthly Sanctuary was but a copy of the heavenly, and that what Jesus did on the cross on earth had a parallel in the heavenly Sanctuary.

The Incarnation also typified the sacrificial service of Israel, The Sanctuary Service, for the Incarnation involved an eternal death to something as well. In fact, it met the prescribed limit as a sacrifice which involved death of the Testator. So that had to be part of the Sanctuary Service/Atonement in the Heavenly Sanctuary.

"The incarnation of Christ, typified in the sacrificial service of Israel, and symbolized in all their devotions, is a glorious mystery. In His only begotten Son, God was made manifest to the world. The Son of God laid aside His glory, and clothed Himself with humanity. He became the meek and lowly Jesus. For the sake of sinful men He became poor, that they through His poverty might be made rich." {BEcho, February 20, 1899 par. 1}

If in His Incarnation He had reached the prescribed limit as a sacrifice, that fact demands that the sacrifice of the Incarnation was a Heavenly Sanctuary/Atonement sacrifice, at which time the Holy Spirit attributes were divested from the Son, because they were cumbered by His humanity:

Cumbered with humanity Christ could not be in every place personally, therefore it was altogether for their advantage that He should leave them to go to His Father and send the Holy Spirit [THE COMFORTER--THE SOUL OF HIS PRE-INCARNATED LIFE] to be His successor on earth. The Holy Spirit is Himself divested of the personality of humanity and independent thereof. He would represent Himself as present in all places by His Holy Spirit.” E.G. White, (Manuscript Releases Volume 14 (No’s 1081-1135) MR No.1084.

Here are some more important statements regarding the Incarnation:

"7. Made himself of no reputation. Literally, 'emptied Himself.'  This emptying was voluntary (see on John 10:17, 18).  It was not possible for Christ to retain all the tokens of divinity and still accomplish the Incarnation.  The outworking of this emptying is detailed in the remainder of Phil. 2:7 and in v. 8.  See Vol. 5, p. 918."  SDA Bible Commentary, Vol. 7, p. 155, col. 1.

“5. The Subordination of Christ. Voluntarily assuming the limitations of human nature at the incarnation, the Lord Jesus Christ thereby subordinated Himself to the Father for the duration of His earthly ministry (see ps. 40:8; Matt. 26:39; John 3:16 4:34; 5:19, 30; 12:49; 14:10; 17:4, 8; 2 Cor. 8:9; Phil. 2:7, 8; Heb. 2:9; see on Luke 1:35; 2:49; John 3:16; 4:34; Phil 2:7, 8).

‘Laying aside His royal robe and kingly crown’ (DA 22, 23). “He voluntarily assumed human nature.  It was His own act, and by His own consent.” (EGW ST Jan 20, 1890; cf. 5T 702).  “He humbled Himself, and took mortality upon Him.” (EGW RH Sept. 4, 1900).

“The Son of God was surrendered to the Father’s will, and dependent upon His power. So utterly was Christ emptied of self that He made no plans for Himself. He accepted God’s plans for Him, and day by day the Father unfolded His plans” (DA 208; cf. 664. ‘While bearing human nature, He was dependent upon the Omnipotent for His life.  In His humanity, He laid hold of the divinity of God’”{EGW, ST, June 17, 1897 par. 8}

Incarnation Taxes Highest Powers of Mind

"This earth has been honored and blessed with presence of the Son of God. In the Scriptures we read of His INCARNATION, His teaching, His miracles, His death, and His resurrection. The effort to understand these wonderful subjects puts to the tax the highest powers of the mind, and then there is an infinity beyond which can not be exhausted. The oftener the mind is called to this study, the stronger and clearer it will become. In the daily life will be revealed the mysteries of godliness, which may be experienced, but can not be explained. Throughout the ceaseless ages of eternity the redeemed will study these subjects, ever gaining from them a deeper and clearer knowledge of God and of Christ." E.G. White, The Signs of the Times, 04-26-05, Pr. 01.

"It requires considerable effort to climb hills, to get upon the rock. And so we find that it will require the exercise of all our abilities, of every spiritual nerve and muscle, to get upon the Living Rock, the Saviour of mankind. It will require all our mental and spiritual power to understand the Word of God, to understand the INCARNATION of Christ, to understand the great plan of redemption. The mind may faint beneath the effort, and yet, there is an infinity beyond. You have only then touched the surface." E.G. White, Manuscript Releases Volume Nine, pr. 3, P. 68.

Incarnation --Satan would Mystify: "This is a great mystery, a mystery that will not be fully, completely understood in all its greatness until the translation of the redeemed shall take place. Then the power and greatness and efficacy of the gift of God to man will be understood. But the enemy is determined that this gift shall be so mystified that it will become as nothingness." E.G. White, SDA Bible Commentary, Vol. 7A, p. 444.

"There is no one who can explain the mystery of the incarnation of Christ. Yet we know that He came to this earth and lived as a man among man. The man Christ Jesus was not the Lord God Almighty, yet Christ and the Father are one. The deity did not sink under the agonizing torture of Calvary, yet it is nonetheless true that 'God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." E.G. White, Lift Him Up, p. 235.

"He was the Redeemer before as after His Incarnation." The Desire of Ages, 210.

“The Father demonstrates His infinite love for Christ, who paid our ransom with His blood, by receiving and welcoming Christ's friends as His friends. He is satisfied with the atonement made. He is glorified by the incarnation, the life, death, and mediation of His Son.”--Testimonies, vol. 6, p. 364. {7ABC 460.2}

Rom 8:17  And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with [him], that we may be also glorified together.

1 Tim.3:16 "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory." "The incarnation of Christ is THE MYSTERY OF ALL MYSTERIES." 6BC 1082.

"As the worker studies the life of Christ, and the character of His mission is dwelt upon, each fresh search will reveal something more deeply interesting than has yet been unfolded. The subject is inexhaustible. The study of the incarnation of Christ, His atoning sacrifice and mediatorial work, will employ the mind of the diligent student as long as time shall last." Gospel Workers, p. 251. SDA Bible Commentary, Vol. 7a, p. 444.

"No one can search the Scriptures in the spirit of Christ without being rewarded. When man is willing to be instructed as a little child, when he submits wholly to God, he will find the truth in His word. If men would be obedient, they would understand the plan of God's government. The heavenly world would open its chambers of grace and glory for exploration. Human beings would be altogether different from what they now are, for by exploring the mines of truth men would be ennobled.  The mystery of redemption, THE INCARNATION OF CHRIST, HIS ATONING SACRIFICE, would not be as they are now, vague in our minds. They would be not only better understood, but altogether more highly appreciated."  E.G. White, Christ's Object Lessons, p. 114.

"He (Christ) suffered the death which was ours, that we might receive the life which WAS His." Desire of Ages, p. 25 1 Cor. 11:24-265, cf. John 6:53, 54, Titus 3:5, 6.

The death which was ours is eternal, not three days and nights.

"Christ declared that after his ascension, he would send to his church, as his crowning gift, the Comforter, who was to take his place. This Comforter is the Holy Spirit,--the soul of his life, the efficacy of his church, the light and life of the world. With his Spirit Christ sends a reconciling influence and a power that takes away sin.

In the gift of the Spirit, Jesus gave to man the highest good that heaven could bestow....

The Spirit was given as a regenerating agency, and without this the sacrifice of Christ [ON THE CROSS] would have been of no avail....

It is by the Spirit that the heart is made pure. Through the Spirit the believer becomes a partaker of the divine nature. Christ has given his Spirit as a divine power to overcome all hereditary and cultivated tendencies to evil, and to impress his own character upon the church." E.G. White, Review and Herald Articles, May 19, 1904, vol. 5, p. 42.

 If the Holy Spirit, THE COMFORTER, is the soul of His (Christ's) life, that is a very close union considering there are three distinct persons to the Godhead. That close union means that the Holy Ghost (first mentioned in Matthew) is the ghost of His pre-Incarnation state of being as DIVINE HOLY SPIRIT ONLY. Then when He was Incarnated, He had to divest Himself of that DIVINE ONLY state of being, because His humanity cumbered that Holy Spirit.

"The apostle would call our attention from ourselves to the Author of our salvation. He presents before us His two natures, divine and human. . . . He voluntarily assumed human nature. It was His own act, and by His own consent. He clothed His divinity with humanity. He was all the while as God, but He did not appear as God. He veiled the demonstrations of Deity which had commanded the homage, and called forth the admiration of the universe of God. He was God while upon earth, but He divested Himself of the form of God, and in its stead took the form and fashion of a man. He walked the earth as a man. For our sakes He became poor, that we through His poverty might be made rich. He laid aside His glory and His majesty. He was God, but the glories of the form of God He for awhile relinquished. . . . He bore the sins of the world, and endured the penalty which rolled like a mountain upon His divine soul. He yielded up His life a sacrifice, that man should not eternally die. He died, not through being compelled to die, but by His own free will." E.G. White, SDA Bible Commentary, Vol. 7a, p. 446.

Note: HIS FORM AS GOD WAS HIS PRE-INCARNATION STATE OF BEING AS HIS HOLY SPIRIT DIVINE (ONLY) NATURE, VS. HIS COMBINATION WITH HUMANITY AT HIS INCARNATION WHICH CUMBERED THAT DIVINE ONLY NATURE.

Christ's pre-Incarnation Holy Spirit is HIMSELF divested of Christ's personality in His humanity. When HIS HOLY SPIRIT was divested at the Incarnation because His humanity cumbered His Holy Spirit DIVINE ONLY NATURE, it became a THIRD DISTINCT PERSON. Up to that time, the Holy Spirit existed as the ONE ETERNAL SPIRIT, common both to the Father and the Son. There were two distinct persons until the Incarnation. At the Incarnation THREE PERSONS ACCRUED:

18For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Ephesians 2:18

1.     The Father and His share of the ONE ETERNAL SPIRIT.

2.    The Holy GHOST which was the PRE-INCARNATION state of the Son of God, constituting His share of the ONE ETERNAL SPIRIT.

3.    Jesus as combined with humanity forever. FULLY DIVINE AND FULLY HUMAN SAYS ELLEN WHITE. How He was fully human and fully divine being divested from His former soul of His life Holy Spirit, Holy Ghost, is a mystery.

"The reason why the churches are weak and sickly and ready to die, is that the enemy has brought influences of a discouraging nature to bear upon trembling souls. He [Satan] has sought to shut Jesus from their view as the Comforter, as one who reproves, who warns, who admonishes them, saying, "This is the way, walk ye in it." Christ has all power in heaven and in earth, and he can strengthen the wavering, and set right the erring. He can inspire with confidence, with hope in God; and confidence in God always results in creating confidence in one another [E.G. White, Review and Herald, August 26, 1890].

How is Jesus both a third person and the Comforter the Holy Spirit as a distinct THIRD PERSON as Ellen White says there are three distinct persons?

1.    God is a Spirit: Jhn 4:24 God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth.

2.    Jesus is God.

There are three distinct persons. (1) God the Father; (2)  God the Holy Spirit (former Divine ONLY LIFE OF THE Son); (3) Jesus as God combined with humanity FOREVER says Ellen G. White. All three have the same essence, substance--the one eternal spirit.  18For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Ephesians 2:18

3.    All three come to us: John 14. (KJV) They all come to us because they are of the SAME ONE ETERNAL SPIRIT

4.    The words THE ETERNAL SPIRIT in the following verse means ONE ETERNAL SPIRIT:

Hbr 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

5.    The word THE eternal Spirit means ONE ETERNAL Spirit.

6.    So it follows that three distinct persons of the Godhead share the SAME ONE ETERNAL SPIRIT.

7.    The Holy GHOST (PRE INCARNATION LIFE OF CHRIST) is the essence of the former, pre-Incarnation life of Christ. He divested Himself of that Spirit at His Incarnation in the heavenly Sanctuary, because that Spirit was cumbered by His humanity.

One Spirit Eternal Spirit

Hbr 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the [ONE] eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Jhn 4:24 God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth.

“They have one God and one Saviour; and one Spirit—the Spirit of Christ” (9T p. 289)

“Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is; there is Liberty.” (2 Cor. 3:17)

“For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself.” John 5:26.

"He (Christ) suffered the death which was ours, that we might receive the life which WAS His." Desire of Ages, p. 25 1 Cor. 11:24-265, cf. John 6:53, 54, Titus 3:5, 6.

You will find ALL THREE PERSONS TO THE GODHEAD IN JOHN 14.

John 14 (King James Version)

John 14

 1Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

 2In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

 4And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

 5Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

 6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

 7If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

 8Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

 9Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?

[The above close resemblance is due to possessing the same essence, substance--ONE ETERNAL SPIRIT THAT EQUALS GOD].

 10Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

 11Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.

 12Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

 13And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

 14If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

 15If ye love me, keep my commandments.

 16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

 17Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

 18I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. [Jesus speaking].

 19Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

 20At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. [Jesus speaking].

 21He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

 22Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?

 23Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

When Jesus says WE WILL COME UNTO HIM (TO THOSE WHO LOVES JESUS), HE MEANS ALL THREE--HIMSELF, THE COMFORTER (WHICH IS HIS PRE-INCARNATED SELF) AND THE FATHER. If one comes they all must come to us BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL OF THE SAME ONE ETERNAL SPIRIT THAT CONSTITUTES GOD.

 24He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

 25These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.

 26But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

 27Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

 28Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

 29And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.

 30Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

 31But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

How the SDA Church Supports the Pagan Teaching of Pantheism

If I supported the Church of Satan in San Francisco financially, you would properly tell me I am responsible for what it teaches. The World Council of Churches admits non-Christian members who teach pagan pantheism. The SDA Church pays annual dues to the World Council of Churches and its subsidiary National Councils of Churches and more local Ministerial Associations the world over. Now try to convince me that the SDA church does not support pantheism! But it gets far worse than that friend! Notice below.

How the SDA Church Trinity Doctrine Negates the Heavenly Sanctuary/Atonement

The Trinity Doctrine totally bypasses the heavenly Sanctuary/Atonement. How? By teaching that there has always been three persons in heaven from eternity and that no heavenly Sanctuary/Atonement was involved with the Son’s divesting Himself of His Holy Spirit from the personality of His humanity.

The Holy Spirit gift to the SDA church, via the gift of Ellen G. White, teaches that a third person accrued at the Incarnation when cumbered with humanity, Christ could not be in every place personally because He divested His Holy Spirit Divine Nature ONLY, from the personality of His humanity, and it was INDEPENDENT THEREOF. That is when a third person became the Holy Ghost, and the words Holy Ghost don’t appear until the first chapter of the New Testament in Matthew 1:18.

Matthew 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

If there was always three persons to the Godhead from eternity, then there would have been four from the time the son divested His Holy Spirit from His humanity, and His Holy Spirit THEN became independent thereof. Thus, the Trinity Doctrine sweeps away the entire Christian economy by negating the Heavenly/Atonement Sanctuary sacrifice.

By the teaching of the Trinity Doctrine, there never was a fulfillment of the Testator’s Everlasting Covenant, because by that Central Doctrine of Rome, the Saviour never died to ANYTHING eternally, and that is what the wages of sin are—eternal death. So by the teaching of the Trinity Doctrine, there has been no Atonement but three days and night in a Tomb on earth—totally bypassing the heavenly Sanctuary/Atonement without which the death on the cross would have been to no avail says Ellen White.

"Christ declared that after his ascension, he would send to his church, as his crowning gift, the Comforter, who was to take his place. This Comforter is the Holy Spirit,--the soul of his life, the efficacy of his church, the light and life of the world. Why would the sacrifice on the cross have been of no avail without the Holy Spirit sacrifice in the Heavenly Sanctuary/Atonement? Because of two reasons:

1.    There would have been no eternal death to anything, and the Testator would still be alive to His DIVINE ONLY being, thus voiding the Everlasting Covenant, for there is no strength in that covenant while the Testator lives. He must die to something eternally, and what He died to eternally was His Divine Nature Holy Spirit ONLY existence, to become independent thereof in His humanity. He would then have access to that Being the same way we do.

2.    There would have been no cure for sin, or even pardon for sin, because no such provision could exist without the fulfillment of the Testator’s Covenant—eternal death to something. The cure for sin is the bequeathed gift at the Incarnation, which was the Divine Nature Holy Spirit of the Son of Man bequeathed to man for empowerment in overcoming all sin.

The greatest abomination committed by the professing SDA church is the 1980 adoption of Rome’s central doctrine, the Trinity Doctrine. In all its variations, including the SDA variation on a theme, it totally negates the Heavenly Sanctuary/Atonement sacrifice, thus totally annihilating the Sanctuary/Atonement and any Atonement whatsoever, because the cross atonement would be of no avail without the eternal aspect involved with the Heavenly Atonement sacrifice. So just as in the Alpha of Apostasy, the Sanctuary, the Atonement is rendered as GONE, while the dumb-dog ministering brethren (5T 211 and Isaiah 56:10-12) looked on, but did not understand what they were doing.

But there is no excuse because the truth on the Godhead is deducible from the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy. The alpha involved the personality of Christ, God. The omega involves the personality of Christ and the “highest good, crowning sacrifice heaven could bestow.” Thus, the highest good, crowning abomination has been committed by the professing SDA church, because it negates the highest good, crowing gift that heaven can bestow, thus sweeping away the entire Christian economy by negating the heavenly Sanctuary/Atonement.

As well, there are many independent ministries that do not teach Ellen White’s rendition on the Godhead, allthewhile they decry the church, they are guilty of the same abomination on something as basic and important as the Godhead. The first thing you should investigate when supporting any ministry, is to discover what it teaches on this basic of all pillar, landmark doctrines. You don’t want to be held guilty of teaching and/or supporting the teaching of the most abominable of Rome’s doctrines. If a ministry teaches that the three persons of the Godhead accrued from eternity, they are just as bad in this teaching as Rome or the SDA church they warn against.

In the Alpha, the offenders were expelled from the church. In the omega, the truthers (true Reformers) are expelled or leave as Christ and His disciples separated from the apostate Jewish church of their day.

In the Alpha, Ellen White told Haskell to withdraw the youth as far as possible from the churches until the apostasy was checked—MET! Pray tell, what would she say today when she herself prophesied that the new movement that would remove pillar doctrines, would REMOVE GOD, and would allow nothing to stand in its way and that the apostasy would WAX STRONGER until Jesus comes. All the above is why Ezekiel 9 begins at His Sanctuary, 5T 211 and other statements by Ellen White that Ezekiel 9 will be LITERALLY fulfilled.

The first chapter of The Great Controversy, tells the story of the last LITERAL FULFILLMENT of Ezekiel 9, as does Ezekiel 22:17-31, and Matthew 22:1-10, with verse 7 being the A.D. 70 destruction of Jerusalem.
