Melissa wrote quoting Christine Guardo: "It is our
individual duty to walk humbly with God. We are not to seek any strange, new message.
We are not to think that the chosen ones of God who are trying to walk in the
light, 
compose Babylon
. The fallen denominational churches are
Babylon. Babylon has been fostering poisonous doctrines, the wine of error.
This wine of error is made up of false doctrines, such as the natural
immortality of the soul, the eternal torment of the wicked, the denial of the
pre-existence of Christ prior to his birth in Bethlehem, and advocating and
exalting the first day of the week above God's holy, sanctified day. These and
kindred errors are presented to the world by the various, churches, and thus
the Scriptures are fulfilled that say, 'For all nations have drunk of the wine
of the wrath of her fornication. ' It is a wrath which is created by false
doctrines, and when kings and presidents drink this wine of the wrath of her
fornication, they are stirred with anger against those who will not come into
harmony with the false and Satanic heresies which exalt the false Sabbath, and
lead men to trample under foot God's memorial." {RH, September 12, 1893 par. 20}
If the above statements are to be interpreted to mean
that the SDA church could never become any part of Babylon, that would make
Ellen White a false prophet by her other statements in this document!
The above statement by Ellen White is one like a number
of others that were written to two men, Stanton and Caldwell in 1893, who were
THEN calling the church Babylon. Ellen White said of the church at that time:

It was having a
spiritual refreshing.

It was keeping the
commandments of God.
·
It was heeding the
Laodicean message.
·
The above facts are
stated in her full letter to Stanton and Caldwell. They were dead wrong in
calling the church Babylon when it was doing all of the above. Ellen White and
the pioneers hoped upon hope that there would not be the need of another coming
out. But she later concluded that such might well be the case as you will see
further along.
Ellen White said to always consider TIME, PLACE AND CIRCUMSTANCE. Melissa and Christine Guardo (from
whom she gleaned the statement), and most other SDA’s do not heed this counsel
when proliferating such statements. Before you try to proffer any more of Ellen
White’s statements to Stanton and Caldwell, respond to the following statements
Melissa and ask Christine Guido to respond to them:
Another Coming Out:
"As reformers they had come
out of the denominational churches, but they now act a part similar to that
which the churches acted. We hoped that there would not be the necessity for
another coming out." Ellen G. White, The Ellen G. White 1888 Materials,
Vol. 1, p. 356-7.
“There was a coming out, a decided
separation from the wicked, an escape for life. So it was in the days of Noah;
so with Lot; so with the disciples prior to the destruction of Jerusalem; and
so it will be in the last days. Again the voice of God is heard in a message of
warning, bidding His people separate themselves from the prevailing iniquity.”—Patriarchs
and Prophets, 166.
When the church acts a part
similar to that which the other churches are acting, and even forms an Omega of
Apostasy New Movement, that we were never to join, (1SM 204-5), the gloves
are off. Then there is the necessity for another coming out. Ellen White's
statements that Christine Guardo and Melissa HAVE NEVER POSTED ON ANY FORUM,
are below. The leaders and their stooge defendants never quote the following:
SDA leaders and
laity use statements like the above
(Melissa’s E.G. White singular quote) to try to prove that the church would never
become any part of Babylon.
If I can
produce one statement by Ellen White that says the church could
become Babylon, such folk are wrong in their interpretation
of the statements used to try to prove it would never
happen! Here is more than one such statement that the church could become part
of Babylon. This is crucial:
"The world must not be introduced into the church, and
married to the church, forming a bond of unity. Through this means the church
will become indeed corrupt, and as stated in Revelation, 'a cage of every
unclean and hateful bird.'" Testimonies to Ministers, p. 265.
The church was married to the world in the early 1930's when a few
leaders adopted the world's Accreditation Standards for our educational
facilities. Satan could have no finer track to the youth of the church than
through the world's education curriculum.
"If the church of God becomes
LUKEWARM [LAODICEAN] it does not stand in favor
with God any more than do the churches that are represented as having fallen
and become the habitation of devils and the hold of every foul spirit and the
cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
Those who have had opportunities to hear and receive the truth, and who have
united with the Seventh-day Adventist church, calling themselves the
commandment keeping people of God, and yet possess no more vitality and
consecration to God than do the nominal churches, will receive of the plagues
of God just as verily as the churches who oppose the law of God." E.G.
White, Letter 35, 1898.
The words "the hold of every foul spirit and the cage of every
unclean and hateful bird" are used by God in Revelation 18:1, 2 to define
Babylon.
Did the church become Laodicean? Has the church remained Laodicean? No!
It has become both COLD APOSTATE AND LUKEWARM. The liberals are cold apostate,
and the conservatives are lukewarm. If Laodicea is not regarded with any
more favor by God than the fallen churches, and the call of Laodicea is to all
churches, then there is no difference between Laodicea and the fallen churches
as far as being in a fallen state is concerned. Different churches believe
different aspects of Babylonian teachings, but Ellen White equates them all as
far as falling from the favor of God is concerned, and as far as constituting
the habitation of devils and the hold of every foul spirit and the cage of
every unclean and hateful bird.
“The church is
in the Laodicean state. The presence of God is not in her midst.”--NL 99
(1898). Latter Day Events, p. 49.
"To the end of time, the presence of the Spirit is
to abide with the true church." E.G. White, Acts of the Apostles, p. 55.
"We must as a people arouse and cleanse the camp of Israel.
Licentiousness, unlawful intimacy, and unholy practices are coming in among us
in a large degree...We are in danger of becoming a sister to fallen Babylon, of
allowing our churches to become corrupted and filled with every foul spirit, a
cage for every unclean and hateful bird, and will we be clear unless we make
decided movements to cure the existing evil? E. G. White, Manuscript Releases
No. 449, pp. 17, 18. (Letter 51, 1886 to Elder Butler) Testimonies on Sexual
Behavior, Adultery, and Divorce, p. 193.
An Adventist Review article says that the church has the same divorce
rate per capita percentage ration as the world. Does that sound like the
unlawful intimacies have been curbed and the camp has been cleansed? Adventist
ministers who have committed adultery are moved from one locale to another. I
know of many of such instances and one of them was a local Conference
President, moved from Alberta to Florida.
"In the balances of the sanctuary the Seventh-day Adventist church
is to be weighed. She will be judged by the privileges and advantages that she
has had. . . .I saw our Instructor pointing to the garments of so-called
righteousness. Stripping them of, He laid bare he defilement beneath. Then He
said to me: 'Can you not see how they have pretentiously covered up their
defilement and rottenness of character? How is the faithful city become an
harlot?" E. G. White, Testimonies, Vol. 8, pp. 247-250.
Can anyone tell me when the church reformed and revived from it's
harlot stance?
"The church cannot measure herself by the world nor by the opinion
of men nor by what she ONCE was. Her faith and her position in the world as
they NOW ARE must be COMPARED (JUDGED) with what they would have been if her
course had been continually onward and upward. The church will be weighed in
the balances of the sanctuary. If her moral character and spiritual state do
not correspond with the benefits and blessings God has conferred upon her, SHE
WILL BE FOUND WANTING." Testimonies, vol. 5, pp. 83, 84.
"When this church is weighed in the balances of the sanctuary, it
is found wanting, having left its first love....What is the fatal
deficiency?--'Thou has left thy first love...'
The light that gladdened your heart when you first understood the
message for this time is an essential element in your experience and labors,
and this has been lost out of your heart and life. Christ beholds your lack of
zeal, and declares that you have FALLEN, and are in a perilous position."

"The enemy of souls has sought to bring in the supposition that a
great reformation was to take place among Seventh-day Adventists, and that this
reformation would consist in giving up the doctrines which stand as the pillars
of our faith, and engaging in a process of reorganization. Were this
reformation to take place, what would result? The principles of truth that God
in His wisdom has given to the remnant church, would be discarded. Our religion
would be changed. The fundamental principles that have sustained the work for
the last fifty years would be accounted as error. A NEW ORGANIZATION would be
established. Books of a NEW ORDER would be written. A system of intellectual
philosophy would be introduced. The founders of this system would go into the
cities, and do a wonderful work. The Sabbath of course, would be lightly
regarded, as also the God who created it. Nothing would be allowed to stand in
the way of the NEW MOVEMENT. The leaders would teach that virtue is better than
vice, but GOD BEING REMOVED, they would place their dependence on human power,
which, without God, is worthless. Their foundation would be built on the sand,
and storm and tempest would sweep away the structure.
Who has authority to begin such a [NEW] movement? We have our Bibles,
we have our experience, attested to by the miraculous working of the Holy
Spirit. We have a truth that admits of no compromise. Shall we not repudiate
everything that is not in harmony with this truth? E.G. White, Selected Messages, Vol. 1,
204, 205.
"The things you have described as taking place in Indiana, the
Lord has shown me would take place just before the close of
probation. Every uncouth thing will be demonstrated. There
will be shouting, with drums, music, and dancing. The senses of rational beings
will become so confused that they cannot be trusted to make right decisions.
And this is called the moving of the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit never reveals itself in such methods, in such a bedlam
of noise. This is an invention of Satan to cover up his ingenious methods for
making of none effect the pure, sincere, elevating, ennobling, sanctifying
truth for this time. Better never have the worship of God blended with music
than to use musical instruments to do the work which last January was
represented to me would be brought into our camp meetings. The truth for this time needs nothing of this kind
in its work of converting souls. A bedlam of noise shocks the senses and
pervert that which if conducted aright might be a blessing. The powers of
satanic agencies blend with the din and noise, to have a carnival, and this is
termed the Holy Spirits working." Selected

I sent a video to Paulo, filmed by an SDA
Engineer at Adventist Youth meetings at various campmeetings. Paulo can
tell you that the above statement has already been fullfilled.
"I saw the nominal church and nominal Adventists, like
Judas, would betray us to the Catholics to obtain their influence to come
against the truth. The saints then will be an obscure [hidden] people, little
known to the Catholics but the churches and nominal Adventists who know of our
faith and customs (for they hate us on account of the Sabbath, for they could
not refute it) will betray the saints and report them to the Catholics as those
who disregard the institutions of the people that is, that they keep the
Sabbath and disregard Sunday.
Then the Catholics bid the Protestants to go forward, and issue a
decree that all who will not observe the first day of the week, instead of the
seventh day, shall be slain. And the Catholics, whose numbers are large, will
stand by the Protestants. The Catholics will give their power to the image of
the beast. And the Protestants will work as their mother worked before them to
destroy the saints. But before their decree bring or bear fruit, the saints
will be delivered by the Voice of God. Then I saw that Jesus' work in the
sanctuary will soon be finished. And after His work there is finished, He will
come to the door of the first apartment, and confess the sins of Israel upon
the head of the Scape Goat. Then He will put on the garments of vengeance. Then
the plagues will come upon the wicked, and they do not come till Jesus puts on
that garment, and takes Hs place upon the great white cloud. Then while the
plagues are falling, the Scape Goat is being led away. He makes a mighty
struggle to escape, but he is held fast by the hand that leads him. If he
should effect his escape, Israel would lose their lives. I saw that it would
take time to lead away the Scape Goat into the land of forgetfulness after the
sins were put on his head.
The great white cloud I saw was not the holy place, but entirely
separate from the holy and most holy place, entirely separate from the
sanctuary.
Then the angel repeated these words, and said, 'This is the time spoken
of in Isaiah. He saw that there was not man, and wondered that there was no
intercessor. He had no mediator between God and man, and these plagues could be
withheld no longer, for Jesus had ceased to plead for Israel, and they were
covered with the covering of the Almighty God, and they could live in the sight
of a holy God, and those who were not covered, the plagues fell upon them, for
they had nothing to shelter or protect them from the wrath of God." E.G.

More on Ellen White on Babylon:
"In amazement they
hear the testimony that Babylon is the church, fallen because of her errors and
sins, because of her rejection of the truth sent to her from Heaven." -Spirit of Prophecy, vol 4, p 424, or Great Controversy, p 606-607.
The Word says:
Revelation 18:2, "And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying,
Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils,
and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful
bird."
Sister White said of these people that lead the GC SDA...
"That these men should stand in a sacred place, to be as the voice of God
to the people, as we once believed the General Conference to be--
that is past".--GCB April 3, 1901, p. 25. {Last Day Events
50.4}
"I saw that God has honest children among the nominal Adventists and the fallen churches, and
before the plagues shall be poured out, ministers and people will be called out
from these churches and will gladly receive the truth. Satan knows this and
before the loud cry of the third angel is given, he raises an excitement in
these religious bodies, that those who have rejected the truth may think that
God is with them. He hopes to deceive the honest and lead them to think that
God is still working for the churches. But the light will shine, and all who
are honest will leave the fallen churches, and take their stand with the
remnant" -Early Writings: page 261.
Sister White said of these people that stay in such
a church... It is impossible for any one to become a true follower of Jesus
Christ, without distinguishing himself from the worldly mass of
unbelievers. If the world would accept of Jesus, then there would be no sword
of dissension; for all would be disciples of Christ and in fellowship one with
another, and their unity would be unbroken. But this is not the case. Here and
there an individual member of a family is true to the convictions of his
conscience, and is compelled to stand alone in his family or in the church to
which he belongs, and is finally compelled, because of the course of those with
whom he associates, to separate himself from their companionship. The line of
demarkation is made distinct. One stands upon the word of God, the others upon
the traditions and sayings of men. -Review & Herald, July 24, 1894, para. 3
The Final
Outcome of the Professing New Movement SDA Church as Prophesied by Ellen G.
White
God made many
“apparently” blanket promises to ancient Israel, but they were all CONDITIONAL.
He told them that as long as the stars shone in the heavens they would be His
chosen people. Is that true today? No! All the promises by God and His prophets
to His church are CONDITIONAL upon obedience, such as the following statements
Ellen White applied to the SDA church:
"Unless the church, which
is now being leavened with her own backsliding, shall repent and be converted,
she will eat of the fruit of her own doing, until she shall
abhor herself. When
she resists the evil and chooses the good, when she seeks God with all humility
and reaches her high calling in Christ, standing on the platform of eternal
truth and by faith laying hold upon the attainments prepared for her, she will
be healed. She will appear in her God-given simplicity and purity, separate
from earthly entanglements, showing that the truth has made her free indeed.
Then her members will indeed be the chosen of God, His representatives. {8T
250.3}
Who is modern Israel (below) in your estimation?
BABYLON? Is a church that is WORSE than Babylon—part of Babylon?

"God's professed people are selfish and self-caring....They are idolaters,
and are worse, in the sight of God, than the heathen, graven-image worshippers
who have had no knowledge of a better way." Testimonies, Vol. 2,

“Then I was pointed back to the years 1843 and 1844.
There was a spirit of consecration then that there is not now. What has come
over the professed peculiar people of God? I saw the conformity to the world,
the unwillingness to suffer for the truth's sake. I saw a great lack of
submission to the will of God…”
“I saw that many who profess to believe the truth for these last days think it
strange that the children of Israel murmured as they journeyed; that after the
wonderful dealings of God with them, they should be so ungrateful as to forget
what He had done for them. Said the angel: "Ye have done worse than

“I was shown the conformity of some professed Sabbathkeepers to the world. Oh, I saw that it is a disgrace to their profession, a disgrace to the cause of God. They give the lie to their profession. They think they are not like the world, but they are so near like them in dress, in conversation, and actions, that there is no distinction…” “As I saw the dreadful fact that God's people were conformed to the world, with no distinction, except in name, between many of the professed disciples of the meek and lowly Jesus and unbelievers, my soul felt deep anguish. I saw that Jesus was wounded and put to an open shame. Said the angel, as with sorrow he saw the professed people of God loving the world, partaking of its spirit, and following its fashions: "Cut loose! Cut loose! lest He appoint you your portion with hypocrites and unbelievers outside the city. Your profession will only cause you greater anguish, and your punishment will be greater because ye knew His will, but did it not." Testimonies for the Church, vol. 1, p 131, 133.
"Study the 9th chapter of
Ezekiel. These words will be literally fulfilled yet the time is passing, and
the people are asleep. They refuse to humble their souls and to be converted.
Not a great while longer will the Lord bear with the people who have such great
and important truths revealed to them, but who refuse to bring these truths into
their individual experience. The time is short. God is calling will YOU hear?
Will YOU receive His message? Will YOU be converted before it is too late?
Soon, very soon, every case will be decided for eternity. Letter 106, 1909, pp.

DURING THE REMAINING TWENTY-SIX YEARS OF HER LIFE.] While we will endeavor to keep the "unity of

The red print portion in
brackets is a notation in the book Last Day Events, within the statement just
as it appears above. Only "dumb-dog" watchmen (Isa. 56:10-12 and 5T
211) would place the following statement immediately after the above one ON THE
SAME PAGE, after saying that the above statement was the only one wherein
Ellen White expressed a lack of confidence in the church. That is an absolute

A harlot is a harlot is a harlot!
A harlot is part of Babylon’s brothel any which way you look at it. But the SDA
church is far worse because they had the truth.

Full statement below:
"Jesus sends HIS
PEOPLE a message of warning to prepare them for his
coming. To the prophet John was made known the closing work in the great plan
of man's redemption. He beheld an angel flying 'in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them
that dwell on the earth,
and to every nation, and kindred, and
tongue, and people, saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him
for the hour of his Judgment is come and worship him that made heaven, and
earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters [Rev. 14:6, ].
The angel represented in prophecy as
delivering this message, symbolizes a class of faithful men, who, obedient to the promptings of
God's Spirit and the teachings of his word, proclaim this warning to the
inhabitants of earth. This message was not to be committed to
the religious leaders of the people. They had failed to preserve their connection with
God, and had REFUSED THE LIGHT FROM HEAVEN therefore they WERE NOT of the
number described by the apostle Paul: 'But ye, brethren, are not in darkness,
that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light,
and the children of the day we are not of the night nor of darkness' [1 Thess.
5:4, 5].
The watchmen upon the walls of Zion should be the first to catch the tidings of the
Saviour's advent, the first to lift their voices to proclaim him near, the
first to warn the people to prepare for his coming. But they were at ease,
dreaming of peace and safety, while the people were asleep in their sins. Jesus
saw HIS CHURCH, like the barren fig-tree, covered with pretentious
leaves, yet destitute of precious fruit. There was a boastful observance of the
forms of religion, while the spirit of true humility, penitence and
faith--which alone could render the service acceptable to God--was lacking.
Instead of the graces of the Spirit, there were manifested pride, formalism,
vainglory, selfishness, oppression. A BACKSLIDING CHURCH closed their eyes to the signs of the times. God
did nor forsake them, or suffer his faithfulness to fail but they departed from
him, and SEPARATED THEMSELVES from his love. As they REFUSED TO COMPLY WITH THE CONDITIONS, his promises were NOT FULFILLED

Watchmen will NEVER AGAIN show the House of Jacob (let alone Babylon) its sins:
"Here we see that the
(SDA) church-the Lord's sanctuary-was the first ("For the time is come
that judgment must begin at the house of God. 1 Peter 4:17) to feel the stroke
of the wrath of God. ("The wrath of God"=the 7 last plagues—Early
Writings, 36, 52, 64, 289; Revelation 15:1, 7; 16:1.) The ancient men,
those who had stood as guardians of the spiritual interest of the people, had
betrayed their trust. They had taken the position that we need not look for
miracles and the marked manifestation of God's power as in former days. Times
have changed. These words strengthen their unbelief, and they say: The Lord
will not do good, neither will He do evil. He is too merciful to visit His
people in judgment. ("He loves us so much, no matter what we do, we'll
always be the apple of His eye.") Thus Peace and safety' is the cry from
men who will never again lift up their voice like a trumpet to show God's people
their transgressions and the house of Jacob (the leadership) their sins. These
dumb dogs that would not bark are the ones who feel the just vengeance of an
offended God. Men, maidens, and little children ALL perish together." (ALL
excludes nobody-not one. ALL from the leadership to the cradle roll are slain!)

The SDA COUNTERPART FACTOR to the Jews

Who else but SDA’s could qualify as the COUNTERPART of the Jews when
they both are “chosen people” who claim to keep the commandments of God and
constitute a remnant?!
Please deal with all of the
above Melissa before you EVER AGAIN come on this forum using Ellen White
statements out of context as to TIME, PLACE AND CIRCUMSTANCE. Why? Because it
is totally dishonest and misleading God’s people to do anything less.
