Why Mega-Giga Church Planters Harvest Laodicean, Foolish Virgin Christians

Dear Reader,

Seventh-day Adventists were warned by their prophetess, Ellen G. White, of a counterfeit reformation in the Christian world before the true revival of primitive godliness which occurs in all churches at the final Loud Cry call. Here is that warning:

"Notwithstanding the widespread declension of faith and piety, there are true followers of Christ in these churches [the fallen churches in context]. Before the final visitation of God's judgments upon the earth there will be among the people of the Lord such a revival of primitive godliness as has not been witnessed since apostolic times. The Spirit and power of God will be poured out upon His children. At that time many will separate themselves from those churches in which the love of this world has supplanted love for God and His word. Many, both of ministers and people, will gladly accept those great truths, which God has caused to be proclaimed at this time to prepare a people for the Lord's second coming. The enemy of souls desires to hinder this work; and before the time for such a movement shall come, he will endeavor to prevent it by introducing a counterfeit. In those churches which he can bring under his deceptive power he will make it appear that God's special blessing is poured out; there will be manifest what is thought to be great religious interest. Multitudes will exult that God is working marvelously for them, when the work is that of another spirit. Under a religious guise, Satan will seek to extend his influence over the Christian world.

In many of the revivals which have occurred during the last half century, the same influences have been at work, to a greater or less degree, that will be manifest in the more extensive movements of the future. There is an emotional excitement, a mingling of the true with the false, that is well adapted to mislead. Yet none need be deceived. In the light of God's word it is not difficult to determine the nature of these movements. Wherever men neglect the testimony of the Bible, turning away from those plain, soul-testing truths which require self-denial and renunciation of the world, there we may be sure that God's blessing is not bestowed.

And by the rule which Christ Himself has given, "Ye shall know them by their fruits" (Matthew 7:16), it is evident that these movements are not the work of the Spirit of God.

In the truths of His word, God has given to men a revelation of Himself; and to all who accept them they are a shield against the deceptions of Satan. It is a neglect of these truths that has opened the door to the evils which are now becoming so widespread in the religious world. The nature and the importance of the law of God have been, to a great extent, lost sight of. A wrong conception of the character, the perpetuity, and the obligation of the divine law has led to errors in relation to conversion and sanctification, and has resulted in lowering the standard of piety in the church. Here is to be found the secret of the lack of the Spirit and power of God in the revivals of our time." E.G. White, The Great Controversy, pp. 464-5.

Important conclusion we may derive from the above statement:

• There will be a revival of primitive godliness in all churches before probation closes for them.
• The Pentecostal power of Christ will be poured out.
• That manifestation will be the Loud Cry to come out of all fallen churches.
• At that time, many will separate and come out from all fallen churches.
• In a desire to hinder that revival, Satan is introducing a counterfeit revival.
• There will be much emotional excitement and a mixture of truth with error.
• A wrong conception of the character, the perpetuity, and the obligation of the divine law has led to errors in relation to conversion and sanctification, and has resulted in lowering the standard of piety in the church.
• Here is to be found the secret of the lack of the Spirit and power of God in the revivals of our time."

What is the secret to the lack of the Spirit and power of God in the FALSE REVIVALS of our time? It is a wrong conception of the character, the perpetuity, and the obligation of the divine law, which has led to errors in relation to true conversion and sanctification. This has resulted in lowering the standard of piety in the church, and has actually led to celebration over that lack of piety. What are they celebrating? The self-deceiving notion that they have to do nothing but just believe and they are saved, and that the law is no longer binding.

All the above takes us full circle right back to God's test for all professed Christian religions and their so-called revivals:

So Ellen White is proven right according to God in Isaiah 8:20! Wow! What a surprise! SDA leaders are now going to Babylon's church growth leaders in order to discover how to plant and grow churches. They are impressed with Satan's COUNTERFEIT REVIVALS. Satan presents the Broadway, and folk love it! He tells them that all they need do to be saved is say they believe; that the law of God is not essential to salvation; that they need not keep God's Holy day and the other commandments; that Christ did it all for them by way of substitution only and not example as well.

Folk in general do not take a hankering to God's law. Why? Because, as Ellen White says, it involves sacrifice and inconveniences. But the law is the foundation of God's government:

"In like manner, He established His law, the foundation of His government in heaven and upon earth." The Great Controversy, p. 66, 1911 edition.

So God's law is the foundation of His government in heaven and earth, and men think that it has nothing to do with their salvation! That is preposterous! That, when we are told by God Almighty, that His law is perfect, converting the soul:

Tell me friend, was Ellen White bang on or not when she implicated the Law with True Revivals?! If the Law of God is perfect, converting the soul, is that a major tool in securing true converts to Christianity? For example, how can a person truly repent if he/she does not know what to repent of? The law defines precisely what we must repent of. Thus, the law and the gospel are inseparable. The gospel informs us of how Christ has made amends for our violations of His Law. And that is where most "Christian's" stop! They are taught that confessing their sins will save them. That is a half truth however. God tells us to repent, and repentance is another ball game entirely.

True repentance includes confession but goes beyond that to a turning away from sin by receiving the empowering gift of grace for obedience, Romans 1:5. Most professing Christians are ready and willing to receive the gift of pardon, but they don't want the gift of grace as it relates to grace for obedience. That is why you do not hear much spoken of that gift of grace. Most professing Christians are not even aware that grace for obedience is one of the gifts of grace. All they ever hear about is grace as pardon. That is a half gospel. That is the half that is appealing to Laodiceans. That is the secret to why Laodiceans remain in that state of being rich, increased in goods, in need of nothing. They believe they have it all by just believing and that they do not need to obey God's commandments.

An Adventist Minister, by the name of Alex Ortega, told me that he knew how to make millions in mere months. He said that all one has to do is be charismatic and teach the half-gospel of only believe, or confess only! No true repentance required! He gave Desmond Ford as an example. Ford has the charisma, and it is estimated that SDA Medical doctors gave him upwards of $3,000,000 to forward his half-gospel to the Adventist church. That constituted a major part of the Omega of Apostasy of the church. Note that in the Alpha of Apostasy, SDA Medical doctors were highly involved, and so it has been in the Omega!

But there is a more subtle brand of the half-gospel going through the ranks of professing Seventh-day Adventism. It has to be more subtle in order to deceive Adventists. It goes like this:

• Salvation is based on grace plus nothing--not even repenting of sin in the sense of true repentance which is turning away from sin by grace empowerment of the Holy Spirit.
• Just believe and you are in a saved relationship the moment you mouth those words.
• True repentance as a condition is not mentioned. However, confession of sins is.
• You work because you are saved, not in order to get saved! Works have nothing to do with the saved relationship.
• You will perform good works because you are saved, but not in order to be justified or saved.
• You did nothing to earn your salvation, and you need not do anything to retain your salvation as regards works.
• If you just say you believe, God will finish what He started in you. You do not need to do anything, just let go and let God do it all for and in you! No striving! No co-operating whatsoever, as Ellen White says we are to cooperate.
• Works have no part to play in our justification, even works empowered by the Holy Spirit. That is what some New Movement Adventists are teaching on the SDA Internet chat groups.
• You will never fully overcome sin in this life.

The 144,000, Enoch, Elijah, Moses and all who were raised from their graves at Christ's resurrection; these, at least, are proof that the last point above is not true.

Now there is some truth admixed to error in the above false gospel. Satan is not stupid. He admixes truth with error. The full-gospel truth is that one is not born again until he/she truly repents of, as well as confesses sin. True repentance is a turning away from sin.

So what is the affect and effect of the above false gospel being promulgated in Adventism. First of all, it is the kissing cousin false gospel used by non-Adventist Mega-Giga church developers. And the perpetrators of this false gospel will agree with at least some of the false revivalists and their tactics. The main excuse for their false gospel is that the first thing we must do is to get others to believe in Christ, and then all else will fall into place. However, the long continuum of the condition of Laodiceanism rampant in ALL professing Christian churches in the land is proof that this concept DOES NOT WORK! All it produces is Laodiceans or foolish virgin Christians. And the foolish virgins do not enter the Kingdom. The door is shut on them. They find out too late that they lacked something. What do they lack? The Oil of grace as it pertains to the Divine Nature of Christ and His Holy Spirit indwelling the life. They are lacking in this Oil. It is manifest in character development and overcoming as Christ overcame.

So how did Christ overcome? By the power of the Holy Spirit which was sent to Him by His Father. He had a moment by moment relationship of being yielded to the Will of His Father. He died daily to self. He resisted sin by this process. He came in human form to prove that we also can resist sin by the same process He resisted it.

What is the deceptive element in the above false gospel that produces nothing but Laodicean Christians?

The deceptive element is the lie that we are not saved (justified) by works which prove our faith as genuine. The wise virgins have the Oil of grace. There are two gifts of the Oil of Grace particularly involved with salvation. The gift of grace as pardon and the gift of grace for obedience (Rom. 1:5). The Oil of Grace provides both these gifts. And the foolish virgins receive only one of the gifts, the Oil of pardon for sins past. They do not believe in and therefore do not accept the oil of grace as it applies to power. Some of them make the lip-service claim that they believe in power to overcome, but they do not see overcoming sin as a condition to being saved or justified, and therein lies the secret of the deception embraced by the foolish virgins. That is why they do not buy gold tried in the fire, which is faith tried in the fire of obedience or by works of obedience based on love for Christ. The gold is love and faith. The tried in the fire part is obedience that demonstrates (proves) love. That is what Abraham demonstrated in the following verses of Scripture:

Abraham obeyed out of a motive of faith in and love for God. That faith and love was imputed to him as righteousness, even though the power to obey and indeed the ability to love, was imparted to him because he believed God.

Because the Mega-Giga church planters and growers of Babylon's ilk reject the Oil of Grace gift of power for obedience based on faith in and love for God, and the character that Oil of Grace develops, they are found wanting in character development at the end-time, and character is not transferable, so they are left outside the Kingdom. This is a very sad state of affairs, and may be blamed to a large degree on the false shepherds who did not rightly instruct their sheep patrons in the true, full gospel Word of God.

Within the Word of God, there are what is called "stumbling stones, and "rock of offense." Those stumbling stones involve everything we have been discussing thus far--OBEDIENCE to God.

Abiding in the light means obedience to the light--heeding the light.

Examples of Stumbling Stones or Rocks of Offense

The following verses are examples of how the scriptures may become stumbling stones to the insincere tares who are always surface readers of the Word. Recall that Ellen White defines tares as insincere individuals whose motives we would have to judge in order to remove them from the church. Surface readers pick and choose between the following Bible verses and others that are similar to them, in order to self style their own easy road religion. They thus produce a man-made religion with the commandments of men taking the place of God's.

So what did Paul mean below? Did he contradict James?

Did Paul and James contradict one another in the following passages as well, thus making God contradict Himself in inspired Scripture?

The only possible thing Paul could mean without contradicting HIMSELF, as well as James, is that NO MAN IS JUSTIFIED BY WORKS OF HIS OWN PERSONAL EFFORT THAT ARE NOT MOTIVATED BY LOVE FOR AND FAITH IN CHRIST as well as being empowered by Christ. Who then could boast of such works, because they could never be performed without the empowerment of Christ.

But Laodiceans are being taught, even in the SDA church now, that works have no part in being justified (saved), even if they are works that are inspired and empowered by the Holy Spirit and done out of a motive of faith in and love for Christ! Can you begin to see why Laodiceans are lukewarm, indolent, sleeping, do-nothing Christians? They are being taught that they do not need the Oil of Grace, which is character development as that relates to overcoming sin and doing the works of Christ and His disciples. If I thought I could be saved by grace as pardon only--plus nothing, I would probably do the same thing. I certainly would not spend every waking hour praying for aid in warning God's people as to their Laodicean predicament and sighing and crying for all their abominations, if I believed that I could be justified by grace as pardon--plus nothing.

I would be quick to elaborate that it is all by grace, and I believe in grace plus nothing if one teaches the entire package of all that grace includes--pardon plus power. Both are provided for the repenting Christian, and accompany any true confession and repentance of sin.

Apostate Adventists and the fallen churches they are determined to copy, in order to plant and grow Mega-Giga churches, are substituting the methodology of Jesus Christ , as testified to in Scripture and the Spirit of Prophecy. What did Jesus teach His disciples as far as missionary work for souls was concerned?

• They did what Christ taught them to do and say.
• They went about two by two, house by house.
• Before Christ, there were schools of the prophets started by Elijah, that taught how to do evangelism.
• The messages of the disciples are given in the gospels as well as in the seven messages to the church (Rev. 2 and 3).
• They spoke according to the Law and the Testimony.
• They established home churches all over Judea.
• They and the seventy took the gospel to the then known world.
• They healed the sick and helped the needy.
• They spoke in tongues--as the faithful will when the Loud Cry goes forth.
• They often worked from wilderness outposts as did Christ.
• They separated themselves from the prevailing apostasy at the Organized church.
• They formed another headquarters at Jerusalem.
• They went about collecting the sacred tithe every first day of the week.
• They taught as did Paul and James, that we are justified by faith and works, because works prove genuine faith and without works there is no faith.

God has not given His ministers the work of setting the churches right. No sooner is this work done, apparently, than it has to be done over again. Church members that are thus looked after and labored for become religious weaklings. If nine tenths of the effort that has been put forth for those who know the truth had been put forth for those who have never heard the truth, how much greater would have been the advancement made! God has withheld His blessings because His people have not worked in harmony with His directions.

It weakens those who know the truth for our ministers to expend on them the time and talent that should be given to the unconverted. In many of our churches in the cities the minister preaches Sabbath after Sabbath, and Sabbath after Sabbath the church members come to the house of God with no words to tell of blessings received because of blessings imparted. They have not worked during the week to carry out the instruction given them on the Sabbath. So long as church members make no effort to give to others the help given them, great spiritual feebleness must result.

The greatest help that can be given our people is to teach them to work for God, and to depend on Him, not on the ministers. Let them learn to work as Christ worked. Let them join His army of workers and do faithful service for Him.

"There are times when it is fitting for our ministers to give on the Sabbath, in our churches, short discourses, full of the life and love of Christ. But the church members are not to expect a sermon every Sabbath....Let the church members, during the week, act their part faithfully, and on the Sabbath relate their experience. The meeting will then be as meat in due season, bringing to all present new life and fresh vigor.. When God's people see the great need of working as Christ worked for the conversion of sinners, the testimonies borne by them in the Sabbath service will be filled with power. With joy the will tell of the precious experience they have gained in working for others.

Our ministers are not to spend their time laboring for those who have already accepted the truth. With Christ's love burning in their hearts, they are to go forth to win sinners to the Saviour. Beside all waters they are to sow the seeds of truth. Place after place is to be visited; church after church is to be raised up. Those who take their stand for the truth are to be organized into churches, and then the minister is to pass on to other equally important fields.

Just as soon as a church is organized, let the minister set the members at work. They will need to be taught how to labor successfully. Let the minister devote more of his time to educating than to preaching. Let him teach the people how to give to others the knowledge they have received. While the new converts should be taught to ask counsel from those more experienced in the work, they should also be taught not to put the minister in the place of God. Ministers are but human beings, men compassed with infirmities. Christ is the One to whom we are to look for guidance. 'The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, . . . full of grace and truth.' "And of His fullness have all we received, and grace for grace." John 1:14,16.

The power of the gospel is to come upon the companies raised up, fitting them for service. Some of the new converts will be so filled with the power of God that they will at once enter the work. They will labor so diligently that they will have neither time nor disposition to weaken the hands of their brethren by unkind criticism. Their one desire will be to carry the truth to the regions beyond.

The Lord has presented before me the work that must be done in our cities. The believers in these cities can work for God in the neighborhood of their homes. They are to labor quietly and in humility, carrying with them wherever they go the atmosphere of heaven. If they keep self out of sight, pointing always to Christ, the power of their influence will be felt.

As a worker gives himself unreservedly to the service of the Lord, he gains an experience that enables him to labor more and more successfully for the Master. The influence that drew him to Christ helps him to draw others to Christ. The work of a public speaker may never be laid upon him, but he is nonetheless a minister for God, and his work testifies that he is born of God.

It is not the Lord's purpose that ministers should be left to do the greatest part of the work of sowing the seeds of truth. Men who are not called to the ministry are to be encouraged to labor for the Master according to their several ability. Hundreds of men and women now idle could do acceptable service. By carrying the truth into the homes of their friends and neighbors, they could do a great work for the Master. God is no respecter of persons. He will use humble, devoted Christians, even if they have not received so thorough an education as some others. Let such ones engage in service for Him by doing house-to-house work. Sitting by the fireside, they can--if humble, discreet, and godly--do more to meet the real needs of families than could an ordained minister.

Note: Compare the following instruction of Ellen White to that of any Mega-Giga church planter: (Still quoting from Testimonies, Vol. 7, pp. 22).

".........let companies be formed for service.....the formation of small companies as a basis of Christian effort has been presented to me by One who cannot err. If there is a large number in the church, let the members be formed into small companies, to work not only for the church members, but for unbelievers. If in one place there are only two or three who know the truth, let them from themselves into a band of workers. Let them keep their bond of union unbroken, pressing together in love and unity, encouraging one another to advance, each gaining courage and strength from the assistance of the others. Let them reveal Christlike forbearance and patience, speaking no hasty words, using the talent of speech to build one another up in the most holy faith. Let them labor in Christlike love for those outside the fold, forgetting self in their endeavor to help others. As they work and pray in Christ's name, their numbers will increase; for the Saviour says: 'If two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of My Father which is in heaven." Matthew 18:19.

".......Let two or more start out together in evangelistic work. They may not receive any particular encouragement from those at the head of the work that they will be given financial support; nevertheless let them go forward, praying, singing, teaching, living the truth. They may take up the work of canvassing, and in this way introduce the truth into many families. As they move forward in their work they gain a blessed experience. They are humbled by a sense of their helplessness, but the Lord goes before them , and among the wealthy and the poor they find favor and help. Even the poverty of these devoted missionaries is a means of finding access to the people. As they pass on their way they are helped in many ways by those to whom they bring spiritual food. They bear the message God gives them, and their efforts are crowned with success. Many will be brought to a knowledge of the truth who, but for these humble teachers, would never have been won to Christ." E.G. White, Testimonies, Vol. 7, pp. 19-23.

How many SDA churches follow the above methodology on Sabbath morning and during the weeks, months, and years of their experience as a Seventh-day Adventist?

The very same principles are advocated by the Mega-Giga church planters. But I will tell you something friend. Those leaders lead and by that I mean they put pressure on their members to perform certain commandments of men. Mega-Gigga church planters put their members to work and give them assigned duties! If they can do it, what is wrong with SDA leaders you might query? Why do Adventists not achieve the results the Mega-Giga church planters get?

The Honest Biblical Answer the Above Question

Jam 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, [and] to keep himself unspotted from the world.

"I saw that since the second angel proclaimed the fall of the churches, they have been growing more and more corrupt. They bear the name of being Christ's followers; yet it is IMPOSSIBLE to distinguish them from the world...Satan has taken FULL POSSESSION of the churches as a body." E.G. White, Early Writings, 273.

Some Adventists literally hate the above statement by Ellen White, but she is obviously right, because I am sure Satan's prime stratagem is to get God's people to avoid any controversial issues like the Sabbath and the three angel's messages. Now, even in the Adventist, Satan is becoming successful in getting ministers and Evangelists to dispense with both and/or hate both, viewing both as a hindrance to obtaining large numbers or members.

Psa 73:12 Behold, these [are] the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase [in] riches.

Jhn 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before [it hated] you.

Jhn 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

Adventists cannot and should not try to compete with the fallen churches that cannot be distinguished from the world:

Theocracy -- "God's people have been called out of the world, that they may be separated from the world. It is not safe for them to take sides in politics, whatever preference they may have. They are ever to remember that they are one in Christ. God calls upon them to enter their names as under His THEOCRACY. He cannot approve of those who link up with worldlings [and churches which cannot be distinguished from the world, Early Writings, 273]. We are entirely out of our place when we identify ourselves with party interests....
God has chosen a people who are to proclaim the third angel's message to the world. They are to be a separate and peculiar people in this world of churches who are transgressing His commandments." E.G. White Manuscript Releases Volume 3, 40, 41.

Pattern after other churches: "A new order of things has COME INTO the ministry. There is a desire to pattern after other churches and simplicity and humility are almost unknown. The young ministers seek to be original, and to introduce new ideas and new plans for labor. Some open revival meetings, and by this means call large numbers into the church. But when the excitement is over, where are the converted ones? Repentance and confession of sin are not seen. The sinner is entreated to believe in Christ and accept Him, without regard to his past life of sin and rebellion. The heart is not broken. There is no contrition of soul. The supposed converted ones have not fallen upon the Rock, Christ Jesus." E.G. White, Selected Messages, vol. 2, pp. 18, 19.

A Quote From the President of the Pacific Union of Seventh-day Adventists: "Already, we are seeing the fruitage of [Rick] Warren's influence in Adventist churches. Pastors in several conferences have announced that they are no longer going to preach controversial doctrines from thepulpit. They indicate their plan is to become "seeker sensitive" on Sabbath morning. The format will be entertaining because thet is what nonmembers want. The music will be contemporary. Each has indicated to [SDA] members who object, "If you don't like the new direction, transfer to another church." Thomas Mosert, Hidden Heresy, Is Spiritualism Invading Adventist Churches Today, p. 43.

Thus, Satan is working his spiritualistic errors in the professing Seventh-day Adventist church. This alone is enough to "remove God," Selected Messages, bk. 1, 204-5.

True religion, undefiled, is not an entertainment carnival. The Mega-Gigga church members find it easy to invite and recruit the "unchurched" to come to such carnivals of entertainment. Some of them get famous worldly entertainers to perform. Also, even if the SDA church wants to compete on that issue, and it does, it cannot. Why? For the simple reason that the mainstream religions have a far larger membership and therefore a much broader talent base to draw from so that Adventists cannot compete even on a proper music rendition basis. There is interpretive dancing in some of the Sanctuaries of those popular churches. And some liberal, celebration Adventist churches have begun to copy that.

True religion, undefiled is not avoiding controversial issues such as the three angel's messages, the Sabbath and keeping of the commandments of God. Ellen White admits that keeping the seventh-day Sabbath is an inconvenience. For one thing, it is the biggest commercial business day of the week and all the biggest sales are advertised for that day. But Ellen White tells us that SDA's are going to compromise that unpopular commandment of God. Notice:

"The Lord has a controversy with his professed people in these last days. In this controversy men in responsible positions will take a course directly opposite to that pursued by Nehemiah. They will not only ignore and despise the Sabbath themselves, but they will try to keep it from others by burying it beneath the rubbish of custom and tradition. In churches and in large gatherings in the open air, ministers, will urge upon the people the necessity of keeping the first day of the week." E.G. White, Review and Herald, vol. 1, p. 405, col. 3.

Many SDA ministers have already determined that they will never give the three angel's messages again, because they are controversial and violate the major principle of church growth--teaching anything controversial. If churches to that, they are considered as not being "user friendly." So, in short, Seventh-day Adventists, as a holy, separate and peculiar people, cannot copy the pattern of the fallen churches without compromising their very mission and commission to the world. This is treachery and infidelity against God Almighty. This is the greatest abominaton for which we should be sighing and crying. Another prime abomination is the church's ecumenical involvement that is strictly forbidden by the Word in Isaiah 8:9-20.

"He [Satan] is working with all his insinuating, deceiving power, to lead men away from the third angel's message, which is to be proclaimed with mighty power. If Satan sees that the Lord is blessing His people and preparing them to discern his delusions, he will work with his master power to bring in fanaticism on the one hand and cold formalism on the other, that he may gather in a harvest of souls. Now is our time to unceasingly. Watch, bar the way to the least step of advance that Satan may make among you. E.G. White, Selected Messages, bk 1, p. 19, 20.

"If you lower the standard in order to secure popularity and an increase of numbers, and then make this increase a cause of rejoicing (celebration), you show great blindness. If numbers were an evidence of success, Satan might claim the preeminence; for, in this world, his followers are largely in the majority... It is the virtue, intelligence, and piety of the people composing our churches, not their numbers, that should be a source of joy and thankfulness. Counsels to Teachers, p. 94.

Things Seventh-day Adventists Could Implement to Gain True Converts

As Ellen White stated above: ".......Let two or more start out together in evangelistic work. They may not receive any particular encouragement from those at the head of the work that they will be given financial support;..."

Why not friend?! Why should the rich conference that has all the millions to sue the True Reformers, not take ALL of those millions and support lay workers who prove they can get results?! In not doing so, the General Conference has spited itself! And those same millions could have been used to support the Canvassing Colporteur work. They have done a great work over the decades, but many more would have entered the field if they had been treated justly and fairly by way of more assistance financially.

And what about the SDA ministers who have coddled their churches while leaving thousands of those who have not heard the message to perish? Where do they get off giving sermons to the same church Sabbath after Sabbath? Where do they get off not instructing the people in regular classes, Elijah-like Schools of the prophets?

SDA's had the correct instruction all along from their prophetess Ellen White, but now they GC is paying huge sums of money to send their ministers to men of Babylon, like Rick Warren, Robert Schuller, Bill Hybels and others. What a sham! What a shame! More misuse of the Sacred tithe. And now the GC is pandering to SDA ministers and evangelists who have refused to ever give the three angel's message warning again, because it is controversial.

A main stratagem of the Mega-Giga church planters and growers, is to teach their proselyter's to never engage anything controversial. Unity at ANY and ALL cost is their means to their end. Rome goes by the same self-serving principle. And what is their end? Mammon friend, mammon. You cannot say it is the gospel, because the Everlasting Gospel is certainly controversial. Many of the most devout followers of Christ, including Christ Himself, have been martyred and/or suffered great persecution to give the pure unvarnished truth. But Satan's agents, including New Movement Adventism, have determined to avoid all controversial issues for the same of UNITY IN HELL.

Oh yes! Christ prayed for unity, but He never, never sacrificed the truth to maintain unity! And what does Ellen White say about unity:

"To secure peace and unity they [the reformers in context] were ready to make any concession consistent with fidelity to God; but they felt that even peace would be too dearly purchased at the sacrifice of principle. If unity could be secured only by the compromise of truth and righteousness, then let there be difference, and even war." E.G. White, The Great Controversy, p. 45, 1911 edition.
