Dear
Reader, Here are some gems pertinent
to these end-times. Daniel Standing in His Lot
Now.--[Dan. 12:9, 4, 10, 13 quoted.] “The time has come for Daniel to stand
in his lot. The time has come for the light given him to go to the world as
never before. If those for whom the Lord has done so
much will walk in the light, their knowledge of Christ and the prophecies
relating to Him will be greatly increased as they near the close of this
earth's history” (MS 176, 1899). E.G. White, {4BC
1174.4} “We have no time to lose.
Troublous times are before us. The world is stirred with the spirit of war.
Soon the scenes of trouble spoken of in the prophecies will take place. The
prophecy in the eleventh of Daniel has nearly reached its complete
fulfillment. Much
of the history that has taken place in fulfillment of this prophecy will be
repeated. In the thirtieth verse a power is spoken
of that "shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the
holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence
with them that forsake the holy covenant." [Verses 31-36, quoted.] {13MR
394.1} Scenes similar to those described in
these words will take place. We see evidence that Satan is fast obtaining the
control of human minds who have not the fear of God
before them. Let all read and understand the prophecies of this book, for we
are now entering upon the time of trouble spoken of: [Dan. 12:1-4, quoted.]
{13MR 394.2} “The Spirit of the Lord is being
withdrawn from the world. It is no time now for men to exalt themselves. It
is no time for the people of God to be erecting costly buildings, or to be
using the Lord's entrusted talent of means in glorifying themselves. Whatever
we do we should do economically. The buildings we erect should be plain,
without useless display. Let us beware of selfish greed.” E.G. White,--Letter
103, 1904. The end cannot be far off
now. I believe it will follow the order of Daniel 8 also, with the
little horn springing up from the four AFTER the 1Th 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety;
then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a
woman with child; and they shall not escape. I truly believe that we will
soon see a strike against 15 The merchants of these things, which were
made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping
and wailing, 16 And saying, Alas, alas
that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and
decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! 17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And
every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as
trade by sea, stood afar off, 18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city! 19 And
they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas,
alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by
reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she
made desolate. 20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy
apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her. 21 And a
mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the
sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great
city In Daniel 8:25, we find that the
little horn will destroy many by peace, and stand up against the Prince of
princes; but he shall be broken without hand, which is the destruction above
in Revelation. Concerning time prophesies,
Ellen White surely must have meant day for a year time ONLY, because we have
a 42 month period in Revelation 13:2-5, AFTER the would is healed, and even
for those who believe the wound to be fully healed as of circa the 1929, per
the Lateran
Concordat of 1929 - Papal Wound Healed!, nothing of particular interest involving
the Papacy occurred 42 months after that Concordat. The fact is that the wound has not been fully healed and will not be
so until the Papacy regains its power with the aid of Protestantism, by
enlisting governments to enforce Sunday observance and persecuting those who
will not bend to And, in addition to the above
stated 42 month period, Revelation mentions a 5 month period; a 10 day period
and a one hour time period: 3 And I saw one of his heads as it were
wounded to death; and his deadly
wound was healed: and all
the world wondered after the beast. 4 And they worshipped
the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast,
saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? 5
And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies;
and power was given unto him to continue forty
and two months. 6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy
against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell
in heaven. 7 And it was given unto him to make war with the
saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and
tongues, and nations. 8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall
worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb
slain from the foundation of the world. Rev. 13:3-8. The whole world does not worship
the beast until the end-time! So in
full context, the above verses state that there is a 42 month period of time
AFTER the wound is healed and at that time the entire world wonders after the
beast. Those like Michaels and
Ferrell, for example, misinterpret Ellen White’s statement that time will be
no more. She meant day for a year time
and said such in the context of discouraging a re-setting of time after the
time of discouragement circa 1844. Rev 9:5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that
they should be tormented five
months: and their torment [was] as the torment of a scorpion, when he
striketh a man. Rev 9:10 And they had tails like
unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power [was] to
hurt men five months. Rev 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou
shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast [some] of you into prison, that ye
may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days:
be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. Rev 18:10 Standing afar off for
the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Rev 18:17 For in one hour so great riches is
come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and
sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, Rev 18:19 And they cast dust on
their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great
city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her
costliness! for in one hour
is she made desolate. God bless, Ron |
