Christ Suffered The Death Which Was Ours--The Wages of Sin is Eternal Death

Dear Reader,

"He (Christ) suffered the death which was ours, that we might receive the life which WAS His." Desire of Ages, p. 25; 1 Cor. 11:24-265, cf. John 6:53, 54, Titus 3:5, 6.

What death was ours? What life WAS (past tense) His?

The death which was ours, was and still is eternal death if we do not repent for, and overcome sin. How did Christ suffer eternal death? Was three days in the tomb eternal death? If all you had to do to fulfill the wages of sin, the transgression of God's law, was remain in a tomb for three days, and then return to life forevermore, would that be so bad? Is that all Jesus did to pay for the sins of the world? Is that the wages of sin, according to Scripture? That is the wage of sin according to the Trinity doctrine. That is the wages of sin according to the lie that many are teaching concerning the Godhead. In the Sanctuary Service, did any sacrificial lamb come back to life after three days of death after having the sins of the sacrificer laid upon it? And I do not in any way discount the fact that Christ had all the sins of the world laid upon Him, but that is all the more reason why He had to pay the penalty of the wages of sin, which is some form of eternal death.

What Life WAS His (Christ's)?

What life did the Son suffer in death, that we might receive that life which WAS His (past tense)? The first death of the Son of God was at His Incarnation. He then bequeathed His Holy Spirit life and soul to us, for two purposes:

  • To provide a cure for sin by proffering us His Holy Spirit DIVINE NATURE life and soul, which He laid aside forever (died to forever) as a regenerating gift to us in order to restore us to the image of God.

  • To fulfill (Atone for) the wages of sin which is eternal death. The death which was ours is eternal death.

Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

He took His ONE ETERNAL HOLY SPIRIT LIFE AND SOUL, and laid it aside (died to it) giving it to us. Thus, He atoned for our sin. He offered His life up through His One eternal Spirit:

Hbr 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

The Son of God offered (sacrificed) Himself through His ONE ETERNAL HOLY SPIRIT forever. He laid aside the gift of His Divine Nature Holy Spirit forever as a regenerating gift to us, thus providing a cure for sin and an Atonement for it, which is eternal death.

Satan's Subterfuge of the Atonement--the Sanctuary Service

In the Alpha of Apostasy, Ellen White saw the Atonement GONE--the Sanctuary GONE!

Sanctuary Gone Atonement Gone -- "In a representation which passed before me, I saw a certain work being done by medical missionary workers. Our ministering brethren were looking on, watching what was being done, but they did not seem to understand. The foundation of our faith, which was established by so much prayer, such earnest searching of the Scriptures, was being taken down, pillar by pillar. Our faith was to have nothing to rest upon--the sanctuary was gone, the atonement was gone." E.G. White, The Upward Look, 152.

In the Omega of Apostasy, the ministering brethren do not understand the implications of the Trinity doctrine, which achieves the same thing--removal of the Atonement and the Sanctuary Service. And as in the Alpha, many of the laymen as well do not understand. We will leave their inability to understand for God to judge, but it is all too evident that they do not have spiritual discernment sufficient to understand. Why they do not have spiritual discernment we will leave to God to judge.

According to the Trinity doctrine, the Son of God never made any eternal sacrifice of anything. He never eternally sacrificed His ONE ETERNAL HOLY SPIRIT LIFE AND SOUL as a regenerating gift for us, nor did He thus make an Atonement for sin which is payment for the wages of sin, which is eternal death. Thus, the trinity doctrine, and any teaching on the Godhead, is a fraud, and renders the Atonement and the Sanctuary Service as null and void, if it does not teach that the Son of God eternally laid aside His Holy Spirit Divine Nature life and soul as a gift to us and as an Atonement. Satan is laughing. He has nearly the entire professing Christian body, believing that Christ did not make any Atonement for the wage of our sin, and provided no cure for sin. This is how Satan has intruded himself right into the very Godhead and perverted the true gospel of salvation.

Oh, but you might say, "Jesus was still FULLY DIVINE after assuming humanity." That is very true friend, but the point that many cannot understand is that the Son of God laid aside His pure Divine State as a gift to us. By that I mean His pure Divine Nature, uncombined with humanity. That was a separate person. That person was the very essence and substance of the ONE ETERNAL SPIRIT--the Holy Spirit. The Father possessed that ONE ETERNAL SPIRIT ALSO. But the Son volunteered to sacrifice His PURE DIVINE NATURE HOLY SPIRIT, as uncombined with humanity, for you, me, and every person who would subscribe to that "crowning

"Christ declared that after his ascension, he would send to his church, as his crowning gift, the Comforter, who was to take his place. This Comforter is the Holy Spirit,--the soul of his life, the efficacy of his church, the light and life of the world. With his Spirit Christ sends a reconciling influence and a power that takes away sin. In the gift of the Spirit [HIS LIFE--THE SOUL OF HIS LIFE], Jesus gave to man the highest good that heaven could bestow.... The Spirit was given as a regenerating agency, and without this the sacrifice of Christ would have been of no avail.... It is by the Spirit that the heart is made pure. Through the Spirit the believer becomes a partaker of the divine nature. Christ has given his Spirit as a divine power to overcome all hereditary and cultivated tendencies to evil, and to impress his own character upon the church." E.G. White, Review and Herald Articles, May 19, 1904, vol. 5, p. 42.

There is no simpler and easy to understand definition of the Holy Spirit on earth or in heaven, than what you have just read. Yet, there are many who cannot understand it. I get feedback from some who just cannot understand this simple definition. That is indicative of one thing. Such persons simply have not the sufficient spiritual discernment to see one of the most simple definitions ever given to man by the Holy Spirit gift to the church via the manifestation of that gift through Ellen G. White.

But wait just a second! The Bible gives the same definition of the Comforter in John 14:16-18. Jesus says that He will send ANOTHER Comforter. Then in verse 18, He says "I will come to you." The "another" "other" Comforter, is the sacrificed life and soul of Jesus' first pure Divine Life and Soul Nature, before His Incarnation. That was the "highest good," "crowning" gift that He ever gave us. Therefore, that was the greatest sacrifice. After making that sacrifice, He became cumbered and combined with humanity forevermore. That was a sacrifice. The greatest sacrifice that He made--the greatest, "highest good" sacrifice that He made for us and our Atonement, because it provided an eternal atonement for sin, and an eternal cure for sin by proffering us His Mind and Divine Nature.

The Influence of the Father and Son Theory

Many are saying the Omega what Kellogg said in the Alpha of Apostasy--that the Holy Spirit is merely the INFLUENCE of the Spirit of the Father and the Son. Do you see any sacrifice in this theory? Do you see any Atonement, any eternal payment for the wages of sin which is eternal death of something on the part of the Testator of the Covenant, who was the Son of God? This is the abominable Omega heresy that Martin Eldon is teaching. This is the great abominable heresy That Fred Allaback, Lynnford Beachy, Allen Stump, Bill Stringfellow, Rachel Cory-Kuehl, David Clayton, William Grotheer, and Martin Eldon, and their supporters, teach in common. The end result is the same as the Trinity doctrine--that there has been no eternal sacrifice on the part of the Son that pays the wages of sin which is eternal death, and that there has been no sacrifice of the Divine Nature Holy Spirit life and soul of the Son of God, as a bequeathed gift to us, for the purpose of sanctification by way of overcoming sin--a cure for sin if you will.

This denial of the Atonement and the Sanctuary Service, is the greatest abomination Satan himself could teach, and he is the author of that teaching. He has thus removed God from the church, Selected Messages, Book 1, 204-5, because the professing New Movement SDA Church, since 1931, has embraced the Trinity doctrine, and it is now part of the baptismal vows. You must vow to a belief in the Trinity doctrine in order to become a member of the professing SDA New Movement chruch. And we were never to join ANY NEW MOVEMENT, according to Ellen White. So, Satan came in "among us" and did a Trojan Horse job on God's professed people, and they are non-the-wiser! This is the horrible truth of the Omega of Apostasy--that Omege Heresy that Ellen White wept for our people over. Do you see the implications of taking a vow of membership to such a New Movement you were never to join--A New Movement that teaches in common with Rome, and as one of its fundamentals of belief, that Jesus never made any form of eternal death sacrifice for sin at His Incarnation and again on the cross, the second death, when He made His last commendation of His Holy Spirit to the Father as a gift to us? If you do not, then you do not have sufficient spiritual discernment. Pray for it and do not get off your knees until you see the implications.

This Issue IS NOT Going to Go Away--Ever!

"One thing it is certain is soon to be realized, the great apostasy, which is developing and increasing and waxing stronger, and will continue to do so until the Lord shall descend from heaven with a shout. We are to hold fast the first principles of our denominated faith, and go forward from strength to increased faith. Ever we are to keep the faith that has been substantiated by the Holy Spirit of God from the earlier events of our experience until the present time. We need now larger breadth, and deeper, more earnest, unwavering faith in the leadings of the Holy Spirit. If we needed the manifest proof of the Holy Spirit's power to confirm truth in the beginning, after the passing of the time, we need to-day all the evidence in the confirmation of the truth, when souls are departing from the faith and giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. There must not be any languishing of soul now." (E.G. White, Special Testimonies, Series B, No. 7, p. 57).

The above statement is made in the context of rebutting Kellogg's Alpha of Apostasy. The entire No. 7 of Series B, is on that subject. This issue is just beginning and will constitute one of the last great final tests of fidelity to God. This will be part of the battle cry of the Loud Cry in calling people out of Babylon. The Holy Spirit will impress upon minds just how the Trinity doctrine, the central doctrine of the Catholic church, has supported all of its errors. Her harlot daughters will see the same implications and will come out of her to join God's faithful people. Pray daily toward that end--even Lord Jesus, Come and Come quickly.

"Handbook for Today’s Catholic, p.16. "The mystery of the trinity is the central doctrine of Catholic faith. Upon it are based all the other teachings of the church."

"The doctrine of the Trinity, a doctrine the knowledge of which is certainly necessary to salvation, is not explicitly and evidently laid down in Scripture, in the Protestant sense of private interpretation." (Advent Review and Sabbath Herald, August 22, 1854 -Quoted from Doctrinal Catechism).

"Most of the founders of Seventh-day Adventism would not be able to join the church today if they had to subscribe to the denomination's Fundamental Beliefs. More specifically, most would not be able to agree to belief Number 2, which deals with the doctrine of the Trinity." George R. Knight, Ministry magazine, October, 1993.
