The "Doing Good" Churches--
Will That Save?

Click to go to our Home Page

Dear Reader,

Adventists are known to pat themselves on the back for all the good they do.  As the following article attests, both the SDA and Catholic church do much good.  Is that a sign that they are right?  Is that an indication that all who do likewise will be saved?  Is do-good-ism a substitute for obedience to the commands of God Almighty?

“Satan will work with his deceptive power to influence the heart and becloud the understanding, to make evil appear good, and good evil. The stronger and purer the faith of God’s people, and the firmer their determination to obey Him, the more fiercely will Satan strive to stir up against them the rage of those who, while claiming to be righteous, trample upon the law of God.  It will require the firmest trust, the most heroic purpose, to hold fast the faith once delivered to the saints.”—Gospel Workers, 264.

You may think that SDA's obey the law of God, but ecumenical violation of Isaiah 8:9-13, is unpardonable sin breaking of one of the most serious commandments of God, when such violation is known by members of the church.  No reconciliation.  Just "broken in pieces."  The marginal reference to Ezekiel 9:2, for slaughter weapon is "a weapon of his breaking in pieces."  Violation of Isaiah 8:9-13, is a major reason the church is broken in pieces in another literal manifestation of Ezekiel 9.

I tell you in all seriousness that many, even most SDA’s have no idea how serious it is that the church is in violation of Isaiah 8:9-13.  That is the biggest reason that the church will be broken in pieces.

Reasons why Isaiah 8:9-13 is so serious are:

1.  The fallen churches are led by Satan as a body, Early Writings, 273.

2.  The church thus makes deals with Satan to be a member of the WCC or NCC's.

3.  The deal the church has made is not to steal sheep.  I know that the church does not obey that deal with Satan, but that is what will finally enrage him.

4.  Ellen White says that the leaders will see too late the results of such dealing.

5.  God says not to pray for any people who violate this command of Scripture—Jeremiah 11:9-15, wherein Israel conspired with[RB1]  God’s enemies.

Some have accused me of running ahead of the angel. I will tell you forthrightly why I am not running ahead of the angel as regards the bride of Jesus Christ.  She is not knowingly defiled with women (fallen churches).  When she learns of the church's ecumenical involvement with the other churches which is in serious violation of Isaiah 8:9-13, she will leave or she would be defiled with women[RB2] .  You may not understand this, but I pray that you do.  A former credentialed minister of the SDA Church, Dr. John Grossboll, has said that such violation constitutes unpardonable sin, and Jeremiah 11:9-15, proves him right!

So what were the faithful Jews doing in the time of Jeremiah 11:9-15?  I will tell you what they were doing.  Jeremiah lived in the time of Shiloh, and here is what the faithful were doing in that time of apostasy:

"The recreant priests added licentiousness to the dark catalogue of their crimes yet they still polluted by their presence the tabernacle of the Lord, and, laden with sin, dared to come into the presence of a holy God. As the men of Israel witnessed the corrupt course of the priests, they thought it safer for their families not to come up to the appointed place of worship. Many went from Shiloh with their peace disturbed, their indignation aroused, until they at last determined to offer their sacrifices themselves, concluding that this would be fully as acceptable to God, as to sanction in any manner the abominations practiced in the Sanctuary."  E.G. White, The Signs of the Times, Vol. 1, p. 264, col. 3, December 1, 1881.

Many SDA’s point to the long forbearance of God for the Jews.  They refer us to the attitude of Moses and Daniel toward the apostasy of Israel.  They do not consider that Moses did not pray for the congregation until he had separated the repentant apostates from those who would not repent.  Some 3,000 men were killed before Moses prayed on the morrow for those who repented.  First, he separated and killed off the apostates!  Read the story carefully in context.  God was longsuffering with the Jews as a continuing nation, but not so with each specific generation.  Jeremiah 11:14, 15, tells the truth about God’s dealings with Israel:

14 Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble. 15 What hath my beloved (bride) to do in mine house (Sanctuary Temple), seeing she (the Sanctuary Temple) hath wrought lewdness with many, and the holy flesh is passed from thee? when thou doest evil, then thou rejoicest (Celebrates).

And that brings up the celebration movement which is truly an offering of Satanic “strange fire” unto the Lord.  On the video presentation I refer to above, there is loud hard rock music with shouting and dancing.  There are foolish and blasphemous drama skits, and this at SDA Campmeetings.  Every tithe payer supports the SDA Celebration churches because the tithe goes into a general pool for all the ministers inclusive of the Celebration leaders[RB3] .  The video proves that the NAD of Seventh-day Adventists is heading that Satanic Celebration movement, and has as its goal the planting of ten new Celebration churches per month.  SDA’s are doing just as the apostate Jews did on the proverbial banks of the Jordan!

In light of Jeremiah 11:9-15, SDA’s and all others who have pleaded the longsuffering for the Jews have been greatly remiss in doing so.  Why?  Because the Ellen White quote concerning what happened in Shiloh, long before the close of general probation for the Jews in A.D. 34, proves that God dealt with each generation of the Jews according to the apostasy of that generation!  The apostates of any and every generation will not be saved.

In 1893, when two men, Stanton and Caldwell, referred to the church as fallen and part of Babylon, they were running ahead of the angel because the church had not yet conspired with Babylon in violation of Isaiah 8:9-20.  Just so soon as a church does that, she is part of Babylon.   The SDA church has conspired with Babylon via ecumenical linkage, and every SDA member who does such knowingly, willfully, will be lost.  The SDA Church pays large dues annually to Babylon’s Associations, Councils and Confederacies.  To support Babylon financially, in any way, is to support her false doctrines and to make her feel that she is alright in the eyes of God.

There is to be no change in the general features of our work. It is to stand as clear and distinct as prophecy has made it. We are to enter into no confederacy with the world, supposing that by so doing we could accomplish more. If any stand in the way, to hinder the advancement of the work in the lines that God has appointed, they will displease God. No line of truth that has made the Seventh-day Adventist people what they are is to be weakened. We have the old landmarks of truth, experience, and duty, and we are to stand firmly in defense of our principles, in full view of the world. {6T 17.2}

In Early Writings, 273, Ellen White says that the fallen churches cannot be distinguished from the world.  So to enter into any alliance with them is like entering into a confederacy with the world.  Also, Satan is the leader of worldlings and she says that he leads the fallen churches as a body, ibid.

Those employed in any department of the work whereby the world may be transformed, must not enter into alliance with those who know not the truth. The world know not the Father or the Son, and they have no spiritual discernment as to the character of our work, as to what we shall do or shall not do. We must obey the orders that come from above. We are not to hear the counsel or follow the plans suggested by unbelievers. Suggestions made by those who know not the work that God is doing for this time will be such as to weaken the power of the instrumentalities of God. By accepting such suggestions, the counsel of Christ is set at nought... {TM 463.2}

I wish I could see the words after the ... in the above quote.  They are not in Testimonies to Ministers.

The church is worse than I could ever portray because Ellen White says that we do not know the worst.  It is the leaders who have committed the great apostasy of ecumenical involvement and its offspring, the Celebration movement.  Friend, I pray that you will be able to get a copy of the Celebration Video by Kirk Weedman, (Are You Ready for Church, by sending to kirk@canby.com, so that you may see for yourselves how grossly Satanic the SDA Celebration movement is and for proof that it is led by the North American Division of SDA leaders.

When one concludes that the SDA church is not as bad as I say it is, he/she really does not understand the seriousness of Isaiah 8:9-13 and Ezekiel 9.  You know that we are near the end of all things, yet most SDA’s say that the very reasons for which the church is destroyed are not as bad as I say they are.  That is their problem?  They regard violation of God's commands strictly forbidding association and confederacy with Babylon as not bad.  Do you realize how serious such a conclusion is?  Do you?  Most SDA’s are saying that the church's violation of Isaiah 8:9-13 is not all that bad.  How can I tell you how serious your conclusion is?

22 And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem. 23 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, 24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. 25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: 26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. 27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. 28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out. Luke 13:22-28.

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. 24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. 28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: 29 For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

The church can do all the good it will through ADRA and other agencies, but those of the church who knowingly, willfully, disobey serious commands of God, will not be saved.

God bless all who are willing to search as for hidden treasure and obey the commands of God through the empowerment of His Holy Spirit, the greatest good, crowning gift that heaven could bestow,

Ron

 [RB2]In Scripture a woman is a symbol of the church, the bride of Christ.  She may defile herself by association, council and confederacy with fallen churches that are led by Satan.  That is unpardonable sin to all who do so knowingly and willfully (see Jeremiah 11:9-15, where God departs from such and says not to pray for them.  That my friend, designates unpardonable sin.

Revelation 14

1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. 2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: 3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. 4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. 5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

 [RB3]The plain straight testimony must live in the church, or the curse of God will rest upon His people as surely as it did upon ancient Israel because of their sins. God holds His people, as a body [corporately], responsible for the sins existing in individuals among them. Testimonies, vol. 3, p. 269.
