Ron’s
response:
At the time,
there were two groups that "claimed" to be Adventists. The group the
statement mentions were considered nominal
Adventists—in name only. That group never joined with Ellen White and her
group. In this 1850 statement, Ellen White was speaking about the group of
Adventists who had not joined with her group. But the same principle
applies to the apostate SDA new movement today in a far greater degree
because of far more serious unpardonable sin violations.
"At
Oswego, New York, September 7, 1850, the Lord showed me that a great work must
be done for His people before they could stand in the battle in the day of the
Lord. I was pointed to those who claim to be Adventists, but who reject the
present truth, and saw that they were crumbling and that the hand of the
Lord was in their midst to divide and scatter them now in the gathering time,
so that the precious jewels among them, who have formerly been deceived, may
have their eyes opened to see their true state. And now when the truth is
presented to them by the Lord's messengers, they are prepared to listen, and
see its beauty and harmony, and to leave their former associates and errors,
embrace the precious truth and stand where they can define their
position." -Early Writings 69.2
We are always to
warn SDA's--to the spiritual Jew first. Ellen White repeats Matthew 22:1-10, in
Sermons and Talks, Vol. 1, pp. 4-9. We will receive the very same treatment as
the disciples did. We will be treated spitefully. Some of us will be slain.
Then Matthew 22:7, which is the same event as Ezekiel 9:6, will be fulfilled
just before the guests are called in a final loud cry.
Here is what you
are to warn about with all the love and patience of a saint! Remember, you are
not responsible for results, just a loving warning (Ezekiel Chapters 2 and 3).
Apostate
Adventists say that Ezekiel 9 will not occur before the time mentioned in The
Great Controversy, pp. 653-656. That is not true. SDA's mutilate these
pages by totally errant interpretation. Page 653 (last paragraph) clearly
states the context of these pages. The last paragraph on 653 says who the pages
at issue are speaking of. Notice:
"Such
are the judgments that fall upon BABYLON in the day of the visitation of God's
wrath. She has filled up the measure of her iniquity; her time has come; SHE
(BABYLON) IS RIPE FOR DESTRUCTION." The Great Controversy, p. 653.
Babylonians
destroy the "Jerusalem" Sanctuaries around the world FIRST, then God
destroys Babylon. Jerusalem is not Babylon and vice versa, as far as
nomenclature is concerned. That is the context of those pages, GC 653-656.
According to Matthew 22:1-10, the destruction of Jerusalem's wicked city
(church) comes before the final Loud Cry to the world. As I said, Ellen White
reapplies those verses of Scripture to our time in Sermons and Talks,
Vol. 1, pp. 4-9. She reapplied Matthew 22:7 from four different
perspectives:
1.
As I already stated, she reapplies Matthew 22:1-10 to our day.
2. She said the
prophecy which Christ uttered (Matthew 22:1-10) and especially verse 7, was
twofold. It foreshadowed the destruction of Jerusalem and PREFIGURED (TYPED)
the terrors of the last great day. Those terrors BEGIN AT HIS SANCTUARY,
MODERN-DAY JERUSALEM, 5T 211 AND Ezekiel 9:6.
3. Ellen White
said that Ezekiel 9 would be literally fulfilled again. Ezekiel 9:6 is the same
even as Matthew 22:7. Thus, carried to its logical conclusion, if Ezekiel 9, as
fulfilled in the A.D. 70 destruction of Jerusalem, was A TYPE of the terrors of
the last great day and a future LITERAL fulfillment of Ezekiel 9 and Matthew
22:7, then all we have to do is follow the PREFIGURE TYPE of what occurred in
Matthew 22:1-10 from A.D. 27-70.
4. Ellen White
and God reapply Matthew 24:15. That occurred as part of the TYPE in A.D. 66.
Three and one-half years before Jerusalem was destroyed, Cestius, the Roman
General, advanced upon Jewish soil. That was considered as the abomination of
desolation. Cestius retreated (the respite) and Titus returned 3 1/2 years
later and destroyed the Temple and the city. Ellen White says that the
Sunday Law is equateable to the Romans advancing upon Jewish soil so many
furlongs from Jerusalem. 5T 451, 464. (Quote is further down).
“The future was mercifully veiled from the disciples.
Had they at that time fully comprehend the two awful facts-- the Redeemer's
sufferings and death, and the destruction of their city and temple--they would
have been overwhelmed with horror. Christ presented before them an outline of
the prominent events to take place before the close of time. His words were not
then fully understood; but their meaning was to be unfolded as His people
should need the instruction therein given. The prophecy which He uttered was twofold in its meaning;
while [1] foreshadowing the destruction of Jerusalem, [2] it
prefigured also the terrors of the last great day.
Jesus declared to the listening disciples the
judgments that were to fall upon apostate Israel, and especially the
retributive vengeance that would come upon them for their rejection and
crucifixion of the Messiah. Unmistakable signs would precede the awful climax.
The dreaded hour would come suddenly and swiftly. And the Saviour warned His
followers:
"When ye therefore shall see the abomination of
desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso
readeth, let him understand:) then let them which be in Judea flee into the
mountains." Matthew 24:15, 16; Luke 21:20, 21. When the idolatrous
standards of the Romans should be set up in the holy ground, which extended
some furlongs outside the city walls, then the followers of Christ were to find
safety in flight. When the warning sign should be seen, those who would escape
must make no delay. Throughout the land of Judea, as well as in Jerusalem
itself, the signal for flight must be immediately obeyed. He who chanced to be
upon the housetop must not go down into his house, even to save his most valued
treasures. Those who were working in the fields or vineyards must not take time
to return for the outer garment laid aside while they should be toiling in the
heat of the day. They must not hesitate a moment, lest they be involved in the
general destruction.” E.G. White, The
Great Controversy, pp. 25, 26.
Ellen White
said that modern-day Jerusalem had become worse than Babylon, but there was
still time for repentance in her day. The SDA church was then playing the
harlot, as she said, but it had not yet joined Babylon's associations,
councils/counsels, girdings and confederacies, which is strictly forbidden in
Isaiah 8:9-12. When a church makes that violation, there is one option--BROKEN
IN PIECES, for that is unpardonable sin. The generation of Jews in Jeremiah's
day did the same thing and God instructed him not to even pray for them and
that if he did, his prayer would not be answered. Jeremiah 11:9-15. When God
says not to pray for a people, that is evidence that they have committed
unpardonable sin. The Jews of that generation conspired (confederated) with
God's enemies as SDA's have conspired ecumenically with Babylon. That is a
direct violation of the 1844 Midnight Cry and the second angel's message to
come out of Babylon. Ellen White said in Word to the Little Flock, p. 14, that
all who did this AFTER KNOWING AND UNDERSTANDING THOSE MESSAGES OF TRUTH, would
find it IMPOSSIBLE to get back on the pathway to heaven. That connotes
UNPARDONABLE SIN as well, from another perspective of the same violation of
Isaiah 8:9-12.
"As the
approach of the Roman armies was a sign to the disciples of the impending
destruction of Jerusalem, so may this apostasy be a sign to us that the limit
of God's forbearance is reached, that the measure of our nation's iniquity is
full, and that the angel of mercy is about to take her flight, never to return.
The people of God will then be plunged into those scenes of affliction and
distress which prophets have described as the time of Jacob's trouble. The cries
of the faithful, persecuted ones ascend to heaven. And as the blood of Abel
cried from the ground, there are voices also crying to God from martyrs'
graves, from the sepulchers of the sea, from mountain caverns, from convent
vaults: "How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost Thou not judge and avenge
our blood on them that dwell on the earth?" {5T 451.2}
It is no time now for God's
people to be fixing their affections or laying up their treasure in the world.
The time is not far distant, when, like the early disciples, we shall be forced
to seek a refuge in desolate and solitary places. As the siege of Jerusalem by the Roman armies
was the signal for flight to the Judean Christians, so the assumption of power
on the part of our nation in the decree enforcing the papal sabbath will be a
warning to us. It will then be time to leave the large cities, preparatory
to leaving the smaller ones for retired homes in secluded places among the
mountains. And now,
instead of seeking expensive dwellings here, we should be preparing to move to
a better country, even a heavenly. Instead of spending our means in
self-gratification, we should be studying to economize. Every talent lent of
God should be used to His glory in giving the warning to the world. God has a
work for His colaborers to do in the cities. Our missions must be sustained;
new missions must be opened. To carry forward this work successfully will
require no small outlay. Houses of worship are needed, where the people may be
invited to hear the truths for this time. For this very purpose, God has
entrusted a capital to His stewards. Let not your property be tied up in
worldly enterprises, so that this work shall be hindered. Get your means where
you can handle it for the benefit of the cause of God. Send your treasures
before you into heaven. {5T 464.3}
“In the autumn of A.D. 66,
Cestius next concentrated his entire force upon Jerusalem. He arrived during the celebration of the
Feast of Tabernacles, and although it was Sabbath, the Jews abandoned their
religious rites and rushed out to attack Cestius’ troops. To the amazement of both Romans and Jews,
they broke the Roman ranks. Indeed,
Josephus declares that only a flank attack by a force of footmen and cavalry
saved Cestius’ forces. More than 500
Roman soldiers were killed whereas the Jews lost only 22 men (War ii. 198,
2 [519]). At this point Agrippa sent an
embassy to the Jews; their reaction was to attack his representatives, killing
one and wounding the other. Encouraged
by a promise of the royalist party in Jerusalem to open the gates for him,
Cestius then gathered his troops to a fresh assault, and penetrated as far as the
north wall of the Temple. Then an astounding
thing happened: Cestius withdrew his troops, and placed himself strategically
in such a poor position among the Judean hills that the Jews were able to
attack him and kill more than 5,000 infantry and nearly 500 cavalry, including
many officers, as well as to capture much materiel.
A Lull in the Storm.—The
defeat and withdrawal of Cestius gave many of the conservative Jews a chance to
flee from Jerusalem. Some of them joined
Agrippa, others sought quiet in country places, and still others left the
country entirely. It was at this time
that the Christians in Jerusalem fled in accordance with the warning of Jesus
recorded in Matt. 24:15-19. According to
Eusebius, the 4th-century historian, the Christians in Jerusalem had
been warned by prophets before the war began that they should leave the doomed
city and find refuge at Pella in Peraea.
They now took this opportunity to make good their escape (Ecclesiastical History iii. 5, 3).” SDA Bible Commentary, Vol. 5, 74, 75.
If anyone
has any question(s) about the above prefigure type that we are to follow, I
will give any amount of patient time in responding to your every question.
Here (below) is
where Ellen White reapplies Matthew 22:1-10 to the end-time and she quotes
verse 7 specifically. Matthew 22:7 could be no other event that Ezekiel 9:6,
because Ellen White says that both will be literally fulfilled at the end-time.
Matthew 22 Sermons and Talks, Vol. 1, pp. 4-9 – Called to the Wedding
Feast
(Sermon by Ellen G. White In Washington, Township,
Iowa, Cir. 1874.)
The words
which I have selected as a foundation for a few remarks you will find in the
22nd chapter of Matthew, beginning at the first verse. [Verses 1-10, quoted.]
{1SAT 4.1}
The portion
of Scripture presented before us, which I have referred to and have presented
before your minds, is of intense
meaning--much more than I am able to explain. It is of great interest to us, and we should
consider it, and let it have due weight upon our minds. We find by perusing
God's sacred Word of inspiration that when the promised Messiah, the Son of
God, came into the world His own people, even His own nation--the Jews--would
not and did not receive Him. As we are told in the first chapter of St. John, "He
came unto His own, and His own received Him not" (John 1:11). {1SAT 4.2}
The
provision was made, but they would not receive it. The Father Himself provided
a ransom, even a sacrifice. His own dear Son submitted Himself to His Father's
requirements, came into this sinful world, became a man of sorrow and
acquainted with grief. He went about doing good, speaking in tones of
tenderness, saying in the deepest and most fervent and sweetest accents ever
uttered, "Come unto Me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will
give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly
in heart"; and He assures us we shall find rest to our souls. {1SAT 4.3}
"Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are
bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed,
and all things are ready: come unto the marriage. But they made light of it,
and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise.
The great
King Himself hath made a marriage for His Son. He hath sent forth His servants for many
hundreds of years, saying,
"Come, for all things are ready." But how little do they [His
people] heed the invitation! They make
light of it and go their ways to their worldly pursuits and worldly pleasures,
the same as they have done for centuries. But the King sendeth forth His armies and destroys those murders and
burns up their city [church], and we are told in the ninth chapter of
Daniel, the 26th verse, that "the people of the Prince that shall come
shall destroy the city...; and the end thereof shall be with a flood." {1SAT 5.1}
"Then
saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were
not worthy. Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid
to the marriage." {1SAT 5.2}
In the 14th
chapter of Luke, verse 16, we find that there was made a great supper and many
were bidden. Servants were sent forth to say to those that were bidden,
"Come; for all things are now ready" [verse 17]. But they made
excuses. {1SAT 5.3}
The King of
the kingdom hath made a marriage supper for His Son. He hath sent forth His
servants to say to those which are bidden, "Come to the marriage."
The Lord is sending [present tense]
His servants, saying unto all who will hear, "Come, make ready for the
great marriage supper of the Lamb; He is soon coming to receive all the
faithful to the mansions prepared by Him, to partake of the feast which He hath
prepared." He is sending, and hath
been sending His servants for some thirty years past to say unto His
people, "Come, make ready, put on your wedding garments; clothe yourselves
with meekness, humility, and truth, and have yourselves clad in the
righteousness of Christ, that you may be able to appear before Him, and enter
into the guest chamber with those who shall sit with Me at the wedding of My
Son." {1SAT 5.4}
All must be
clothed with the wedding garment in order to be accepted, lest we be found
speechless. {1SAT 6.1}
Is it not
of the greatest importance that we be found having on the robe of
righteousness, that we be ready when the Bridegroom cometh to enter in to the
marriage supper? May we heed the invitation given and make ourselves ready that
we may have admittance into the Master's house, that He say not unto us that
none which were bidden shall taste of His supper. In the parable, those who
were bidden heeded not its invitation, but continued excusing themselves,
feasting upon the pleasures of this world as the masses do at the present time. {1SAT 6.2}
The
servants of God are inviting and entreating them [present tense] to come away from the alluring scenes of this vain and fleeting
world, to make ready for the marriage supper, but they will not come. We hear them saying, [present tense] There's no danger; tomorrow shall be as this day
and much more abundant; no need of being disturbed. We must needs attend to
farms and merchandise and the things of this life, lest we lose worldly
interests, and become poor and suffer want. They forget that He who careth for
the little sparrows and clotheth the lilies of the field, careth for the
humble, trusting soul, and will guide and direct all those who are ready to do
His will, and bestow upon His dear children such things as they need. To all who
through patience and perseverance overcome, He hath promised to give a crown of
never fading glory, a robe of righteousness, and an entrance into the beautiful
city of our God. {1SAT 6.3}
This same
King is sending forth His servants today. He is inviting His guests, saying, "Come, for
all things are now ready." The Lord of the marriage is soon coming:
behold, He is at the door. Delay not to open the door, lest He turn away from
receiving you and you enter not into the marriage feast. Open the door and
receive the Master, that you may enter into the mansions of everlasting rest
and never fading glory prepared for all those that love Him. Who will make
ready for the coming of Him who hath said, "Behold, I come quickly; and My
reward is with Me, to give to every man according as his work shall be"
[Rev. 22:12]. {1SAT 6.4}
If we
neglect our spiritual interests, neglect to offer up spiritual sacrifices
acceptable unto God, which is our reasonable duty, we become entangled with the
trifling cares of this life. If we even once omit our daily duty of calling
upon God for His divine aid, His care and protection, we lose one day's
enjoyment. We have not the sweet, melting influence of God's Holy Spirit
attending us through the day, but we feel cast down and easily discouraged. The
enemy of souls is ready to take advantage [of us] and often does, bringing us
into captivity and sin. {1SAT 7.1}
We may
sometimes be cumbered about much serving, like Martha; but how much more
commendable was the act of Mary, who sat and listened to the teachings of
Jesus. He says, "Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:
but . . . . Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from
her" (Luke 10:41, 42). {1SAT 7.2}
How many
times the things of this vain, deceitful world come between us and our eternal
interests! Temporal things spring up within our hearts and choke those things
which are spiritual. We permit the enemy of righteousness to persuade us that
we should attend to the things of this life. We now and then neglect greater
duties lest we suffer want. If we faithfully entreat God to give us strength
and to perform temporal duties, and at the same time to give us grace and
wisdom to overcome evil; if we have our hopes centered above and our
conversation in heaven, whence we look for the Son of man who has bidden to the
marriage all who will come: who has gone up on high to prepare mansions for all
those who love and keep His sayings, and has told us He is coming to receive
us, we may enter in to the wedding feast with Him, that where He is there we
may be also. If we turn away from those calls and invitations, what will be the
consequence? {1SAT 7.3}
In the 13th
chapter of the Acts of the Apostles, 46th verse, we find that if we put God's
work from us, and judge ourselves unworthy of everlasting life, we have no
reason to expect an entrance into the kingdom. The 24th verse of the 14th
chapter of Luke informs us that "none of those men which were bidden shall
taste of my supper." {1SAT 8.1}
The great
eternal Father has prepared a marriage feast for His Son. Will we give heed to
His servants who have been and are being sent forth to proclaim unto us the
solemn invitation? Or shall we make light of it? Oh, why refuse to make ready
for the marriage of the Son of God? There is room for all who will accept the
invitation. None can say [that] those things were not duly represented.
Remember, when the good man returns, those who are ready will go in to the
feast and the door will be shut, and there will be no further entrance, for we
read that when "the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the
door" (Luke 13:25), then those who would find admittance will hear the
answer, "I know you not. . . ; depart from Me." {1SAT 8.2}
May we heed
well the solemn warning and make ready to enter into the wedding, that His
house may be filled. God's Word informs us, "Blessed are they that do His
commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in
through the gates into the city" (Rev. 22:14). May we be found faithful,
and give diligence to our calling, and possess the promised reward of the
faithful, is my prayer.--Ms 8, 1874. (MR 900.56) {1SAT 8.3}
End Matthew 22 Parable from Sermon and Talks
When and Why
the Ezekiel 9:6 -- Matthew 22:7 Slaughter of BEGINNING AT HIS SANCTUARY, Takes
Place
When
the Sunday law is ENFORCED (not legislated), the SDA new movement
apostate church will instruct its people to keep Sunday.
"The Lord has a controversy
with His professed people in these last days. In this controversy men in
responsible positions will take a course directly opposite to that pursued by
Nehemiah. They will not only ignore and despise the Sabbath themselves,
but they will try to keep it from others by burying it beneath the rubbish of
custom and tradition. In churches and in large gatherings in the open
air, ministers will urge upon the people the necessity of keeping the first day
of the week. There are calamities on sea and land: and these calamities
will increase, one disaster following close upon another; and the little band
of conscientious Sabbath-keepers will be pointed out as the ones who are
bringing the wrath of God upon the world by their disregard of Sunday."
E.G. White, R & H 3-18-1884.
This will enrage
the leaders of the Babylonian churches who have had their sheeple stolen for
over 100 years by SDA's over the Sabbath issue! And justly so! And SDA's will
still try to keep their "church" ship afloat by telling her members
to keep Sunday! What a world class whore! This will make the Babylonians go mad
and they will slaughter professing SDA men, maidens and little children without
mercy! Remember, they will be given permission to kill after a 30 day warning
period.
At this time,
there will be many faithful martyrs as seed for fruit. So a lot of killing is
going to transpire for 45 days from the time the Sunday Law is enforced
(day 1290 from the time Sunday was first legislated) to day 1335
of Daniel 12:12.
After a 30 day warning
period to take the Mark, beginning day 1260 after Sunday has been
legislated (not enforced) to day 1290 will be issued. That warning time will be
anticipated by some slaughtering even before day 1290. But the worst time of
slaughter will be for 45 days after the 30 day warning period—1260-1290. On day
1335, the slaughter will cease, thus the blessedness of still being around
after the terrible slaughter BEGINNING AT HIS SANCTUARY.
From the time the
Sunday Law is ENFORCED (Day 1290 from the time Sunday was legislated) to
the setting up of the Abomination of Desolation, (Sunday Sacredness), there
will be 1290 days. (Sunday sacredness) is set up in the ONCE Holy
Place) Daniel 12:11, 12, the professing SDA church.
It should not be
any great stretch for any SDA to believe that the SDA leadership will instruct
its members to keep Sunday sacred when it has already instructed parents in
Russia to send their children to school on Sabbath. Alf Lohne, a high
conference official at the time, told all about it in his book entitled Adventists in Russia, Published in 1987.
"Study the 9th chapter
of Ezekiel. These words will be literally fulfilled yet the time is passing,
and the people are asleep. They refuse to humble their souls and to be
converted. Not a great while longer will the Lord bear with the people who have
such great and important truths revealed to them, but who refuse to bring these
truths into their individual experience. The time is short. God is calling will
YOU hear? Will YOU receive His message? Will YOU be converted before it is too
late? Soon, very soon, every case will be decided for eternity. Letter 106,
1909, pp. 2, 3, 5, 7. (To "The churches in Oakland and Berkeley, September
26, 1909.)" E. G. White Manuscript Releases Volume One, p. 260.
Begin at My Sanctuary --
"Here we see that the church--the Lord's sanctuary--was the first to feel
the stroke of the wrath of God. The ancient men, those to whom God had given
great light and who had stood as guardians of the spiritual interests of the
people, had betrayed their trust. They had taken the position that we need not
look for miracles and the marked manifestation of God's power as in former
days. Times have changed. These words strengthen their unbelief, and they say:
The Lord will not do good, neither will He do evil. He is too merciful to visit
His people in judgment. Thus 'Peace and safety" is the cry from men who
will never again lift up their voice like a trumpet to show God's people their
transgressions and the house of Jacob their sins. These dumb dogs that would
not bark are the ones who feel the just vengeance of an offended God. Men,
maidens, and little children all perish together." E. G. White, Testimonies, Vol. 5, 211.
To the very letter
“The Lord reads the heart
as an open book. The men who are not connected with God have done many things
after the imagination of their own evil hearts. The Lord declares concerning
them, "They have turned unto Me their back, and not the face, though I
taught them, rising up early and teaching them; yet they have not hearkened to
receive instruction." We are amid the perils of the last days, the time will soon come
when the prophecy of Ezekiel 9 will
be fulfilled; that prophecy should be carefully studied, for it will be
fulfilled to the very letter. Study also the tenth chapter which represents the hand
of God as at work to bring perfect method and harmonious working into all the
operations of his prepared instrumentalities. The eleventh and
twelfth chapters also should receive critical, thoughtful attention. Let these prophecies be
studied on your knees before God; unless you take up the stumbling-blocks which
by your own perverse spirit you have laid in the way of many who have been
connected with you, God will turn His face utterly from you and your
associates.”{1888 1303.1}
“The time will soon come
when the prophecy of Ezekiel 9 will be fulfilled; that prophecy should be
carefully studied, for it will be fulfilled to
the very letter.”— Ellen G. White 1888 Materials, p. 1303.

Jerusalem stands as a solemn warning before the eyes of modern Israel.”
“The desolation of
Jerusalem in the days of Jeremiah is a solemn warning to modern Israel, that the counsels and admonitions given them
through chosen instrumentalities cannot be disregarded with impunity.” Prophets and Kings, 416.

enemies will rush upon the waiting ones to put them to death.” E.G. White, The 1884 edition of The

Subject: Re: [AdventistHotIssues] What Should I do?
________,
I was looking over your post again and
noticed that I did not answer some of your questions. You said:
"According to this vision, the time of
separation is" before the plagues shall be poured out"!
"I saw that God has honest children
among the nominal Adventists and the fallen churches, and before the plagues
shall be poured out, ministers and people will be called out from these
churches and will gladly receive the truth. Satan knows this and before the
loud cry of the third angel is given, he raises an excitement in these
religious bodies, that those who have rejected the truth may think that God is
with them. He hopes to deceive the honest and lead them to think that God is
still working for the churches. But the light will shine, and all who are
honest will leave the fallen churches, and take their stand with the
remnant" -Early Writings: page 261.
Ron's response: All this means is exactly
what it says: "...before the plagues shall be poured out, ministers and
people will be called out from these churches and will gladly receive the
truth." That will occur in all churches including the SDA church. But
there is a people who are called out FIRST, in order to make the call to ALL
CHURCHES during the Loud Cry. Who is that people who are called directly by
God; who awaken all ten of the sleeping virgins?
·
The first answer is found in Christ's Object Lessons,
405-6. The voice of God and the voice of the bride awaken the ten sleeping
virgins. So the bride must be awakened FIRST in order to awaken the ten
virgins! But who awakens the bride?
·
Matthew 25 says ALL THOSE VIRGINS SLUMBERED AND SLEPT.
·
The bride is not defiled with women--fallen churches, (Rev.
14:1-4). Were she a member of any of them, she would be defiled. So if we are
to strive to be part of the 144,000, how could we be a member of a defiled,
fallen church?
·
God Himself awakens the bride first. According to Eastern
custom, the Father chooses the spouse. COL, p. 405.
·
Is there something by Ellen White that confirms this further?
Yes indeed: It is God who calls the TRUE REFORMERS:
"Characteristics of True
Reformers.--Here are given the characteristics of those who shall be reformers,
who will bear the banner of the third angel's message, those who avow
themselves God's commandment-keeping people, and who honor God, and are
earnestly engaged, in the sight of all the universe, in building up the old
waste places. Who
is it that calls them, The repairers of the breach, The restorers of paths to dwell in? It is God. Their names are
registered [written--Heb. 12:22, 23] in heaven as reformers, restorers, as
raising the foundations of many generations." E. G. White, SDA Bible
Commentary, Vol. 4, 1151.
"At Oswego, New York, September 7, 1850, the Lord showed me that a great
work must be done for His people before they could stand in the battle in the
day of the Lord. I was pointed to those who claim to be Adventists, but who
reject the present truth, and saw that they were crumbling and that the hand
of the Lord was in their midst to divide and scatter them now in the gathering
time, so that the precious jewels among them, who have formerly been deceived,
may have their eyes opened to see their true state. And now when the truth
is presented to them by the Lord's messengers, they are prepared to listen, and
see its beauty and harmony, and to leave their former associates and errors,
embrace the precious truth and stand where they can define their
position." -Early Writings 69.2
The bride is gathered out first and is
prepared to make the Midnight Cry Loud Cry call to the ten virgins. As stated,
we are to strive to be the bride, and how could we do so while being a member
of any church that is defiled by being in liaison with Babylon? All who do this
knowingly after understanding the truth, will find it impossible to get back on
the pathway to heaven.
"While praying at the family
altar, the Holy Ghost fell on me, and I seemed to be rising higher and higher,
far above the dark world. I turned to look for the Advent people in the world,
but could not find them--when a voice said to me, 'Look again, and look a
little higher.' At this I raised my eyes and saw a straight and narrow path
cast up high above the world. On this path the Advent people were traveling to
the City, which was at the farther end of the path. They had a bright light set up behind them at
the first end of the path, which an angel told me was the Midnight Cry. This
light shone all along the path, and gave light for their feet so they might not
stumble. And if
they kept their eyes fixed on Jesus, who was just before them, leading them to
the City, they were safe. But soon some grew weary, and they said the City was
a great way of, and they expected to have entered it before. Then Jesus would
encourage them by raising his glorious right arm, and from his arm came a
glorious light which waved over the Advent band, and they shouted Hallelujah!
Others rashly denied the light behind them, and said that it was not God that had
led them out so far. The
light behind them went out leaving their feet in perfect darkness, and they
stumbled and got their eyes off the mark and lost sight of Jesus, and fell off
the path down in the dark and wicked world below. It was just as impossible
for them to get on the path again and go to the City, as all the wicked world
which God had rejected. They fell all the way along the path one after another, until we heard
the voice of God like many waters, which gave us the day and hour of Jesus'
coming....
By this time the 144,000 were all sealed and
perfectly united. On their foreheads was written, God, New Jerusalem, and a
glorious Star containing Jesus' new name." E.G. White, Word to the Little
Flock, p. 14.
How could it be IMPOSSIBLE for folk who
rejected or violated the Midnight Cry in 1844, to get on the pathway again, and
not be IMPOSSIBLE for SDA's
who have strayed from the Midnight Cry WHICH SHONE ALL ALONG THE PATHWAY, to
get back on the pathway again? SDA's have violated the Midnight Cry to come out
and stay out of Babylon by joining her associations, counsels/councils,
girdings, and confederacies. That is unpardonable sin to all who know that the
church is in liaison with Babylon via such fraternity.
If anyone believes the lies of new movement
SDA leaders that the church is not in association, counsel/council, girding and
confederacy with Babylon, just give me a chance to prove that they are indeed
lying. God said the leaders would divine lies and they certainly have.

_________,
It is all just as it was in the prefigure
type of A.D. 27-70. God "gathered out" those who would make the two
calls of Matthew 22:1-10 to the Jews. Those He gathered out were His bride, Desire
of Ages, 179. That was a TYPE of what He is doing now. The True Reformers
are His bride. That is their high calling. This is very serious business. Nice
to know the truth, but we are all the more responsible! To fail in this calling
is like one of Christ's disciples refusing His call and saying some more
convenient time!
"The
Sanhedrin had rejected Christ's message and was bent upon His death therefore
Jesus departed from Jerusalem, from the priests, the temple, the religious
leaders, the people who had been instructed in the law, and turned to another
class to proclaim His message, and to gather out
those who should carry the gospel to all nations. As the light and life of men
was rejected by the ecclesiastical authorities in the days of Christ, so it has
been rejected in every succeeding generation. Again and again the history of
Christ's withdrawal from Judea has been repeated. When the Reformers preached
the word of God, they had no thought of separating themselves from the
established church but the religious leaders would not tolerate the light,
and those that bore it were forced to seek another class, who were longing for
the truth. In our day few of the professed followers of the Reformers are
actuated by their spirit. Few are listening for the voice of God, and ready to
accept truth in whatever guise it may be presented. Often those who follow in
the steps of the Reformers are forced to turn away from the churches they love,
in order to declare the plain teaching of the word of God. And many times those
who are seeking for light are by the same teaching obliged to leave the church
of their fathers, that they may render obedience." E.G. White, Desire of Ages, p.
232.
The only reason
given in the above statement for True Reformers leaving the church of their fathers
is that the religious leaders would not tolerate the light! Will they tolerate
it today?!
