Exploring Ezekiel 9 and Another Coming Out

Let's explore the
alleged hearsay Lida Scott statement
in light of the teachings of the Bible and the SOP. Is the following statement
interpreted by SDA leaders and laity alike in a manner that would make Ellen
White directly contradict scripture?
I TOLD HER [MRS. LIDA SCOTT] HOW MOTHER REGARDED THE EXPERIENCE OF THE REMNANT
CHURCH, AND OF HER POSITIVE TEACHING THAT GOD WOULD NOT PERMIT THIS DENOMINATION
TO SO FULLY APOSTATIZE THAT THERE WOULD BE THE COMING OUT OF ANOTHER
CHURCH.--W. C. White to E. E. Andross, May 23, 1915, White Estate

· God's Word says that a remnant will go forth out of
Jerusalem, Isaiah 37:31, 32.
· Ellen White defines the remnant as the last generation
of faithful men.
· Ellen White said that all the ancient prophets wrote
more for us than the Jews.
· In the last literal fulfillment of Ezekiel 9, a
faithful remnant left the apostate Jewish Temple church from A.D. 34-66, at
which time they fled to Pella.
· Ellen White said that Ezekiel 9 will be literally
fulfilled again. Thus, it follows that if there was a literal separation in the
last literal fulfillment of Ezekiel 9, then there must
be one in the next fulfillment if that fulfillment is to be literal as Ellen
White said it will, OTHERWISE IT WOULD NOT BE LITERALLY FULFILLED.
· Any coming out from a new movement that has removed
God, WOULD NOT BE THE COMING OUT OF ANOTHER CHURCH, but the coming out of the
true church, TRUE JERUSALEM.
· True Reformers restore the old waste places that the
new movement has wasted. That restoration of the old waste places DOES NOT
CONSTITUTE ANOTHER CHURCH.
· Ellen White said that only God's presence can
constitute a church. The new movement (1SM 204-5), the omega of apostasy, has
removed God, so it is no longer a church by Ellen White's definition of a
church, so there is no coming out of another church. There is merely the
restoration of the WASTING of the original SDA church.
Pertinent supporting E.G. White/Bible statements:
"Characteristics of True Reformers.--Here are given the characteristics of those who shall be reformers, who
will bear the banner of the third angel's message, those who avow themselves
God's commandment-keeping people, and who honor God, and are earnestly engaged,
in the sight of all the universe, in building up the old waste places. Who is it that calls them, The
repairers of the breach, The restorers of paths to dwell in? It is God.
Their names are registered [written--Heb.
12:22, 23] in heaven as reformers, restorers, as raising the foundations of
many generations." E. G. White, SDA Bible Commentary, Vol. 4, 1151.
"God has a
church. It is not the great cathedral, (or the super mega church), neither is
it the national establishment, neither is it the various denominations; it is
the people who love God and keep His commandments. 'Where two or three are
gathered together in My name, there am I in the midst
of them.' Where Christ is even among the humble few, THIS IS CHRIST'S CHURCH, for the presence of the High and Holy
One who inhabiteth eternity can alone constitute a church." Upward Look, p. 315.

Isaiah 4
1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only
let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach. 2 In that
day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of
the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel. 3 And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in
Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the
living in Jerusalem: 4 When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the
daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst
thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.
To better understand
what occurred in the last fulfillment of Isaiah 4:1-4, ask yourself
these questions based on the evidence presented herein:
· Did the faithful Christian Jews escape from Israel in A.D. 66, to the
land of Pella, where they were safe while the unfaithful in the midst’s of
Jerusalem were slaughtered in a literal fulfillment of Ezekiel 9, after all
true Christians had been marked (sealed) in their Christian home churches
established all over Judea? (See Scripture on Home Churches further down in
this document).
· Isaiah 4:1-4 cannot be interpreted in a manner that would make Isaiah
contradict himself in Isaiah 37:32, 32.
· There were two church headquarters in Jerusalem. The disciples
of Jesus has their headquarters there and the apostate church
headquarters was at the Temple on Mt. Zion.
· Ezekiel 22:17-31 says: 23 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 24
Son of man, say unto her, Thou art the land that is not cleansed, nor rained
upon in the day of indignation.
· So apostate Jerusalem and Zion was not cleansed in any saving way. The
apostates were gathered together in the midst’s of
Jerusalem for burning and melting. Ezekiel 22:19, 20.
· True Jerusalem and Zion separated into home churches until they fled to
Pella in A.D. 66, 3 ½ years before the Temple and Jerusalem were destroyed in
A.D. 70. These are the ones who escaped of Zion and Jerusalem. This was the
true remnant that went forth out of Jerusalem.
· Ezekiel 22:17-31 was a further description of the literal slaughter of
Ezekiel 9.
· Ezekiel 22:23 says that at the end-time, the day of indignation (Rev.
14:10-12), apostate Jerusalem is the land that is not rained upon (outpouring
of the Holy Spirit), nor cleansed by the tares leaving it. Rather, the tares
are gathered into the midst’s of Jerusalem for burning and melting (Ezekiel 9
slaughter).
· Ezekiel 9 could not have occurred prior to A.D. 27-70, because Ezekiel
9 is a sealing (marked by the man in linen) chapter, and no Israelite was
sealed until the 70 weeks prophecy of Daniel 9:24 (490 years) was complete.
That time was fulfilled in A.D. 34, commensurate with the stoning of Stephen.
That closed the probation for apostate Israel.
· There was no virtue or sealing at the apostate Temple, what Jesus
called the Synagogue of Satan, in Jerusalem, after its close of probation.
· Some try to say that we have to remain in Jerusalem, the omega of
apostasy SDA new movement church in order to be sealed. In the last literal fulfillment
of Ezekiel 9, did the faithful Christians remain in the apostate Temple church
in order to be sealed? No. They began to form home churches from A.D. 34 and
on. So they were sealed in True Jerusalem, True Zion, which also had
headquarters in the city of Jerusalem.
· So it is all a matter of true Jerusalem (True Reformers) versus false,
apostate Jerusalem and Zion.
· Christ and the disciples were True Reformers: "Christ
was a protestant...The Reformers date back to Christ and the apostles. They
came out and separated themselves from a religion of forms and ceremonies.
Luther and his followers did not invent the reformed religion. They simply
accepted it as presented by Christ and the apostles." E.G. White, Review and Herald, vol.
2, 48, col. 2.
· Paul left: "And as they persisted in their rejection of the gospel the
apostle (Paul) went into the synagogue, and spake
boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things
concerning the kingdom of God. But when divers were hardened, and believed not,
but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and
separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus."
Acts, 19:8, 9.
· "Fearing that the faith of the believers would be endangered by
continued association with these opposers of the truth, Paul separated from
them, and gathered the disciples into a distinct body." E.G. White, Acts
of the Apostles, p. 286.
· True Reformers of every succeeding generation have left churches
wherein the leaders would not tolerate light and truth. Desire of Ages,
232. Don’t even be tempted minimize the seriousness of this fact.
· Omega Countdown Ministries offers $10,000 cash to
anyone who can prove that one true Christian was sealed in any Ezekiel 9
“marking” by the man in linen—within the apostate Synagogue of Satan
“Jerusalem.”
· The Lord has shown this writer that the prime reason that the writings
of J. Wilfred Johnson did not receive any wider circulation and acceptance than
they did, is because Mr. Johnson made the great mistake of stating on one of
his tapes/cd’s that one must remain in the SDA church to be sealed per Ezekiel
9:6. Though Mr. Johnson taught some great truths that we might all be blessed
by studying, this was a major blunder. Not one person was sealed within the
apostate Jerusalem Temple structure. Mr. Johnson did say on one tape/cd that he
would not rule out another coming out from the church. But he never discerned
the grave apostasy of the church that occurred in 1957 and on that constituted
antichrist teaching on the human nature of Christ and the trinity doctrine.
Ezekiel 22:17-31
17 And the word of the LORD came
unto me, saying, 18 Son of man, the house of Israel is to me become
dross: all they are brass, and tin, and iron, and lead, in the midst of the
furnace; they are even the dross of silver. 19 Therefore thus saith the Lord
GOD; Because ye are all become dross, behold,
therefore I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem. 20 As they
gather silver, and brass, and iron, and lead, and tin, into the midst of the
furnace, to blow the fire upon it, to melt it; so will I gather you in mine
anger and in my fury, and I will leave you there, and melt you. 21 Yea, I
will gather you, and blow upon you in the fire of my wrath, and ye shall be
melted in the midst therof. 22 As silver is melted in the midst of
the furnace, so shall ye be melted in the midst thereof; and ye shall know that
I the LORD have poured out my fury upon you. 23 And the word of the LORD came
unto me, saying, 24 Son of man, say unto her, Thou art the land that
is not cleansed, nor rained upon in the day of indignation. 25 There
is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion
ravening the prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and
precious things; they have made her many widows in the midst thereof. 26
Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have
put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed
difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. 27 Her
princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood,
and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain. 28 And her prophets
have daubed them with untempered morter, seeing vanity, and divining lies unto
them, saying, Thus saith the Lord GOD, when the LORD
hath not spoken. 29 The people of the land have used oppression, and
exercised robbery, and have vexed the poor and needy: yea, they have oppressed
the stranger wrongfully. 30 And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before
me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none. 31
Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them
with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads,
saith the Lord GOD. Ezekiel 22:17-31.
“Not one Christian perished in the
destruction of Jerusalem. Christ had given his disciples warning, and all who
believed his words watched for the promised sign. After the Romans had
surrounded the city, they unexpectedly withdrew their forces, at a time when
everything seemed favorable for an immediate attack. In the providence of God
the promised signal was thus given to the waiting Christians, and without a
moment's delay they fled to a place of safety,--the refuge city Pella, in the land
of Peraea, beyond Jordan.” {4SP 32.1}
Scripture on Home Churches
Act 16:32 And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all
that were in his house.
Act 16:34 And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat
before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.
Act 16:40 And they went out of the prison, and entered into [the house
of] Lydia: and when they had seen the brethren, they comforted them, and
departed.
Act 18:7 And
he departed thence, and entered into a certain [man's] house, named Justus,
[one] that worshipped God, whose house joined hard to the synagogue.
Rom 16:5 Likewise [greet]
the church that is in their house. Salute my well beloved Epaenetus, who is the
firstfruits of Achaia unto Christ.
1Cr 1:11 For
it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them [which are of the
house] of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.
1Cr 16:15 I beseech you,
brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of
Achaia, and [that] they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the
saints,)
1Cr 16:19 The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute
you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.
Conclusions
·
God’s Word is conclusive
that there is another coming out from Jerusalem, apostate Jerusalem, Isaiah
37:31, 32, as well as Babylon, Revelation 18:1, 2.
·
If Ellen White did indeed
make the statement Willie White allegedly repeated to Lida Scott, there is no contradiction
if that statement is assessed according to the weight of evidence formula,
interpreting all data so that nothing contradicts. The coming out from a new
movement that has removed God, is not coming out to form another church. It is
a coming out to maintain the original true and faithful SDA church.
·
The omega of apostasy
professing SDA “church” as defined in Selected Messages, Bk. 1, pp.
204-205, does not in any wise qualify as a “church,” because Ellen White said
it would remove God, and only his presence can constitute a church. So that
entity is the Synagogue of Satan. It is not even a valid church militant,
because in a valid church militant, the wheat and tares dwell together until
the harvest, the end of time.

God said that thorns (open
sinning apostates) corrupt the wheat, choke it out, and kill it. So the wheat
cannot dwell with thorns (open sinners) and mature and/or remain pure.
·
Tares are insincere
Christians whose motives one would have to judge in order to remove them. One
does not have to judge motives in the case of open sin. God and Ellen White
expressly say that open sin/sinners must be removed from the camp or the
members will be corporately responsible for the sin amongst them. This is
clearly demonstrated by God in Joshua chapters 6 and 7. It is clearly evinced
in the New Testament by the following verse: Mat
23:35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from
the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom
ye slew between the temple and the altar.

The apostate SDA new
movement Synagogue of Satan, has never accepted the
principle of corporate responsibility for open sin in the camp. This is the
prime reason omega of apostasy, antichrist sin is rife
in the new movement.
·
Ellen White and God taught
that open sin is to be removed from the camp.
Open sin to be put out of the Camp
"Christ has plainly
taught that those who persist in open sin must be separated from the
church..." Christ's Object
Lessons, 71.
"The plain
straight testimony must live in the church, or the curse of God will rest upon
His people as surely as it did upon ancient Israel because of their sins. God
holds His people, as a body [corporately], responsible for the sins existing in individuals among them." Testimonies,
vol. 3, p. 269.
"Thorns sprung up.--The thorns made it impossible for the wheat to mature (see Luke 8:4).
In the same way secular interests prevent the fruits of the Spirit (Gal. 5:22,
23) from reaching maturity. Religion is relegated to the subordinate position
of being only one interest among many. For lack of cultivation it withers and
eventually dies. That which the thorny-ground hearers lack is a moral
transformation (Christ's Object Lessons, p. 50). To them, justification
is the sum and substance of religion, and they fail to realize that the
Christian life consists essentially in the process known as sanctification--the
process by which evil traits and tendencies are replaced by the perfect
life-pattern of Jesus Christ." SDA

... The Lord will not write as wise those who cannot
distinguish between a tree that bears thorn-berries and a tree that bears
olives. {EGW, RH, September 7, 1897 par. 15}
"It is IMPOSSIBLE for
you to unite with those who are corrupt, and still remain pure. (II Corinthians
6:14-15 quoted). God and Christ and the heavenly host would have men know that
if he unites with the corrupt he will become corrupt." E. G. White, Review and Herald, Vol. 4, p. 137.
"The thorns of sin
will grow in any soil they need no cultivation but grace must be carefully
cultivated. The briers and thorns are always ready to spring up, and the work
of purification must advance continually....
The thorns that have been
cut off but not uprooted grow space, until the soul [and/or the church] is
overspread with them." E. G. White, Christ's
Object Lessons, 50.
Quiescent, insincere
believer tares, are not to be uprooted until the close
of probationary time, Christ's Object Lessons, 72. Open sinning tares
and thorns are to be uprooted, or the church will be overspread with them and
they will choke out and kill the wheat, making it impossible for the wheat to
mature. This is why the wheat must be separated from a church that is
controlled by open sinning, apostate tares and thorns.
"But the doctrine is
now largely taught that the Gospel of Christ has made the law of God of no
effect that by 'believing' we are released from the necessity of being doers of
the word. But this is the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which Christ so
unsparingly condemned....
Those who are teaching this
doctrine today have much to say in regard to faith and the righteousness of
Christ but they pervert the truth, and make it serve the cause of error. They
declare that we have only to believe on Jesus Christ, and that faith is
all-sufficient that the righteousness of Christ is to be the sinners
credentials that this imputed righteousness fulfils the law for us, and that we
are under no obligation to obey the law of God. This class claim that Christ
came to save sinners, and that he has saved them. "I am saved,' they will
repeat over and over again. But are they saved while transgressing the law of
Jehovah?--No for the garments of Christ's righteousness are not a cloak for
iniquity: Such teaching is a gross deception, and Christ becomes to these
persons a stumbling-block as he did to the Jews,--to the Jews because they
would not receive him as their personal Saviour to these professed believers in
Christ, because they separate Christ and the Law, and
regard faith as a substitute for obedience. They
separate the Father and the Son, the Saviour of the world. Virtually they teach, both by precept and example, that Christ, by his
