Subject: Re: [AdventistHotIssues] The Cost of our Salvation 1/2 (SDA, Godhead and Trinity)

That's exactly what it amounts to brother George! He makes the following serious errors:

·         He does not once mention the sacrifice that took place in the heavenly Sanctuary at the Incarnation BEFORE THE CROSS, and which met the prescribed limit of a sacrifice. He teaches the sanctuary only from an earthly view, forgetting that a sacrifice must take place in the heavenly Sanctuary.

·         He does not once mention Ellen White's statement defining the Holy Spirit as the soul of the life of Christ which would force our teaching.

·         He does not once mention Ellen Whites statement that the Holy Spirit was divested from the personality of Christ's humanity, and that this precluded that Spirit going to the grave at Christ's burial.

·         He does not once mention ONE THING that Christ died to eternally fulfill the Testator's Covenant in Hebrews.

·         He does not see that if Christ took His Holy Spirit divine nature to the grave, the same Holy Spirit Divine Nature would have not had to be divested from His humanity at the Incarnation. That Holy Spirit Divine Nature would have all the brightness of the Father because it is the same Spirit the Father has—the ONE ETERNAL SPIRIT.

·         He does not once mention that Ellen White says that Christ is God in the highest sense! That would make Ellen White a Tritheist and a bigot by his teaching.

·         He teaches that Christ’s divinity had mortality and for all good purposes died and that without that death there was no atonement, when there was an atonement in the heavenly Sanctuary at the Incarnation which met the prescribed limit of a sacrifice, to wit: "The darkness rolled away from the Saviour and from the Cross. Christ bowed His head and died. In His Incarnation He had reached the prescribed limit as a sacrifice, but not as a redeemer." E.G. White Manuscript Releases Volume Twelve, p. 409.

·         He quotes the Bible that the Word is God, and then denies that Christ, THE WORD is indeed God!

·         He does not once mention that Ellen White says the Holy Spirit is a distinct third person. He says there is no third person right at the end of one of the videos. He says flat out that the Holy Spirit is not a person but is the Spirit of the Father and the Son.

·         He says that divinity as good as died when Christ died on the cross. Ellen White says Divinity cannot, DID NOT, die.

·         He interprets "begotten" as deriving from the Father, when Jesus called Himself the Alpha and Omega more than once in the book of Revelation. Begotten means ONE OF A KIND.

·         He does not see the contradiction that the way he interprets 1 Timothy 6:14-16, he is saying that Christ has always been mortal and that the Holy Spirit could not be the soul of His life because the Holy Spirit is ONE AND ETERNAL.

·         He does not admit once that Christ is called Jehovah in the Old Testament and referred to Himself as the “I AM.”

·         He does not admit that Christ said He was equal to God, and what is equal is equal—GOD!

·         He does not discern that the commandments instruct to worship only GOD, and that Christ was worshipped, even at His birth.

·         According to Imad, the Son did not divest Himself of anything at the Incarnation and further, He took it all to the grave in death. Robert Sessler and Nicholas Petuala believe the same thing as does Laval Picard.

·         He cannot discern that if the Testator does not die to something eternally, the wages of sin are not paid, therefore, no atonement, no Sanctuary sacrifice in heaven. He died to His preIncarnation existence as DIVINE ONLY to be combined with humanity forever.

·         He cannot discern that God is a Spirit and the bible says there is only ONE SPIRIT, and that Christ was of that ONE SPIRIT, GOD.

·         Ellen White says there never was a time when Christ did not exist.

·         Ellen White defines the Holy Spirit as the soul of the life of Christ. The Holy Spirit is eternal, for there is only ONE SPIRIT, THE ETERNAL SPIRIT.

·         He cannot see that if the ONE ETERNAL SPIRIT is the soul of the life of Christ, then Christ has to be eternal.

·         If Christ’s Divine Spirit entered the tomb with Him, how is it that He told His disciples He must pray the Father to send His Holy Spirit to them?

·         He does not once teach that Christ refers to Himself three times in the book of Revelation as the Alpha and Omega.

·         He does not once teach that only one equal to the Lawgiver (as Testator) could atone for any breach in the Law, and that Ellen White says that Christ gave the Law with the Father on Sinai.

·         He does not teach the who, what, where, when, why and how’s about how the Holy Spirit of the Son of God accrued as a third person at the Incarnation.

The below statements, if properly interpreted by Imad, prove his teaching as heretical and void any atonement.

"Christ declared that after his ascension, he would send to his church, as his crowning gift, the Comforter, who was to take his place. This Comforter is the Holy Spirit,--the soul of his life, the efficacy of his church, the light and life of the world. With his Spirit Christ sends a reconciling influence and a power that takes away sin.

In the gift of the Spirit [HIS LIFE--THE SOUL OF HIS LIFE], Jesus gave to man the highest good that heaven could bestow....

The Spirit was given as a regenerating agency, and without this the sacrifice of Christ would have been of no avail....

It is by the Spirit that the heart is made pure. Through the Spirit the

believer becomes a partaker of the divine nature. Christ has given his Spirit as a divine power to overcome all hereditary and cultivated tendencies to evil, and to impress his own character upon the church." E.G. White, Review and Herald Articles, May 19, 1904, vol. 5, p. 42.

“Cumbered with humanity Christ could not be in every place personally, therefore it was altogether for their advantage that He should leave them to go to His Father and send the Holy Spirit to be His successor on earth. The Holy Spirit is Himself divested of the personality of humanity and independent thereof. He would represent Himself as present in all places by His Holy Spirit.” E.G. White, (Manuscript Releases Volume 14 (No’s 1081-1135) MR No.1084.

"The apostle would call our attention from ourselves to the Author of our salvation. He presents before us His two natures, divine and human. . . . He voluntarily assumed human nature. It was His own act, and by His own consent. He clothed His divinity with humanity. He was all the while as God, but He did not appear as God. He veiled the demonstrations of Deity which had commanded the homage, and called forth the admiration of the universe of God. He was God while upon earth, but He divested Himself of the form of God, and in its stead took the form and fashion of a man. He walked the earth as a man. For our sakes He became poor, that we through His poverty might be made rich. He laid aside His glory and His majesty. He was God, but the glories of the form of God He for awhile relinquished. . . . He bore the sins of the world, and endured the penalty which rolled like a mountain upon His divine soul. He yielded up His life a sacrifice, that man should not eternally die. He died, not through being compelled to die, but by His own free will." E.G. White, SDA Bible Commentary, Vol. 7a, p. 446.

These are just a few of the more obvious blasphemies.

All blessings,

Ron

This approach of the Godhead is incomplete of course but we need to
watch the thesis and antithesis. That is religious hegelianism taking
place inside the church (new movement)...
