Today I received this retort to my warning message from Karl Wagner.  Karl rejected the Reformer message years ago to return to the New Movement SDA church, where he often preaches and teaches in his church.  I will present his post to me first and then my response to him.

Ron,
Your position makes James White, Joseph Bates, J. N. Andrews and all dumb-dog leaders when they formed the church in 1860/63. We understood by late 1856 that we were Laodicea, so you're saying we should never have organized, and that we did, we should never have joined it. Yet it is the one bringing people to the knowledge of the three angels message.

 

So the apostate church brings people to the message, then its up to guys like to try to call them out, declaring the organized church Babylon. Defective as Israel was, they were God's chosen people until 34 AD.

 

Defective as the church may be, it is the church God called into existence after 1844. It is the vehicle God has called to give the last warning message. Defective it is, defunct it will be; yet it is the church of Christ. It is not denominations Jesus is coming to save, but people.

 

The fact you pulled away diminishes anything you have to say to me against the denomination, for you are now on your own. You would split the work up into many atoms and hinder its work by making it appear defective in the eyes of non-Adventists, giving them more reason to shun the message and the truth. You are doing the work Satan loves. Stop calling people out of the SDA denomination and start calling people out of the churches of the world.

 

As for me, I have every right to stand in the conference building, look my conference president in the eye and tell him that the papal flag paraded in the last GC session doesn't impress me. Because I'm fully franchised. I'm in, not out. I'm part of the solution, not part of the problem. If ever I find my self on the outside, it'll be because I was kicked out, not because I walked out.

 

And still then, my eye would be on God's people, both in and out of the church. But you already have every leader in the church pegged as a dumb-dog. It doesn't matter. Leader in the SDA Church equals dumb-dog to you, no discussion. Any problems the church organization has will be repeated the second anyone organizes a new one.

 

The problem won't be solved by leaving one proverbial sinking ship for another. The SDA organization will apostatize. All Christianity does. Its in Revelation 13. It just seems you're trying to hurry prophecy along, when you need to stop breaking up God's remnant and work to propagate the message to a dying world.

 

 I surly wouldn't want to stand before God and say that I left those bad SDAs, but went and sat in a corner doing nothing but trying to call them out of Babylon when I could be trying to reach the unchurched and those who never heard of the three angles message or know the truth about the Sabbath.

I appreciate your attempt at giving answers.  At least you tried!  I'll give your reply to my friend (Mr. X—the gentleman who will pay handsomely to have my warning message refuted to his satisfaction) for his perusal.  In fact, Karl, so that you know he gets it, I am going to post all this on my Website tomorrow.  He reads everything I put there.  I will let you know about his response as soon as he tells me his answer.  I will try to address each of your points below.  If I miss anything pertinent, please let me know.

1.     I note that you speak as the World Council of Churches demands, that the SDA church seek out only the unchurched and those who have never heard of the three angels’ message.  Thank you for you honesty, but the three angel’s message is to go to all the world, including the fallen churches!

2.     You say that the SDA church will apostatize, and I wish to inform you that God WILL NOT use an apostatized church to give the final Loud Cry Call to the world.  The 144,000, the church triumphant will lead that call and no apostatized body will receive the Holy Spirit’s power to give that message.  Ellen White says that only those who receive the seal of God will give that message.

3.     Ellen White’s Comments on Ezekiel 9 say that the angel with the writer’s ink horn is to place a mark upon all who are separated from sin and sinners and that the people will receive that seal before the shaking comes.  The greatest shaking is when the faithful are called out of Babylon.

4.     Ezekiel Chapter 9:2-4 (Eph. 1:13; 4:30). A Mark Which Angels Read.--[Eph. 1:13 quoted.] What is the seal of the living God, which is placed in the foreheads of His people? It is a mark which angels, but not human eyes, can read; for the destroying angel must see this mark of redemption (Letter 126, 1898). {4BC 1161.4}

5.     The angel with the writer's ink horn is to place a mark upon the foreheads of all who are separated from sin and sinners, and the destroying angel follows this angel (Letter 12, 1886). {4BC 1161.5}

6.     Rev. 7:2.) Seal Is a Settling Into Truth.--Just as soon as the people of God are sealed in their foreheads--it is not any seal or mark that can be seen, but a settling into the truth, both intellectually and spiritually, so they cannot be moved--just as soon as God's people are sealed and prepared for the shaking, it will come. Indeed, it has begun already; the judgments of God are now upon the land, to give us warning, that we may know what is coming (MS 173, 1902). {4BC 1161.6}

7.     Only the sealed SDA church triumphant will give receive the Holy Spirit’s latter rain power to give the Loud Cry.  Laodicea does not give that call.

8.     At that time the "latter rain," or refreshing from the presence of the Lord, will come, to give power to the loud voice of the third angel, and prepare the saints to stand in the period when the seven last plagues shall be poured out.--EW 86 (1854). {LDE 186.4}

9.     Who is the third angel?  "The angel represented in prophecy as delivering this message, symbolizes a class of faithful men, who obedient to the promptings of God's Spirit and the teachings of his word, proclaim this warning to the inhabitants of earth. This mesage WAS NOT to be committed to the religious leaders of the people." E.G. White, The Spirit of Prophecy, vol. 4, 199, 200.

10.                        "I then saw the THIRD ANGEL. Said my accompanying angel, 'Fearful is his work. Awful is his mission. He is the angel that is to select the wheat from the tares, and seal, or bind, the wheat for the heavenly garner." E.G. White, Early Writings, 118.

11.                        The above truth is taught in Scripture, see Ezekiel 20:34-38, where the rebels (tares) are shaken out of the Kingdom by the church triumphant.

12.                        Since Laodicea is one of the seven churches, surely it had to be an organized church. And since Ellen White defined Laodicea as the foolish virgin state of the church--that is how it was organized.  The statement is hers, not mine.  I believe her. There is nothing any more wrong with joining Laodicea than any of the other churches of Rev. 2 and 3 that were faulted--before Laodicea should eventually cross God's line in the sand.  Scripture and Ellen White defines those lines in the sand.  You quote Ellen White’s statement to press together, but what the leaders never quote is the following statement by Ellen White regarding the Alpha of Apostasy.  What would she say in regard to the far, far worse Omega of Apostasy:   "We are to unify, but not on a platform of error." E.G. White, Special Testimonies, Series B, #2, p. 47.  Also:  "It is impossible for you to unite with those who are corrupt, and still remain pure. (II Corinthians 6:14, 15 quoted). “God and Christ and the heavenly host would have men know that if he unites with the corrupt he will become corrupt." E.G. White, Review and Herald, Vol. 4, p. 137. "To secure peace and unity they [the reformers in context] were ready to make any concession consistent with fidelity to God but they felt that even peace would be too dearly purchased at the sacrifice of principle. If unity could be secured only by the compromise of truth and righteousness, then let there be difference, and even war." E.G. White, The Great Controversy, p. 45, 1911 edition.  Does Christ marry a “sinking ship,” or is there a final remnant bride that purifies herself, Ezekiel 20:34-38 and Revelation 14:1-4, as just two examples.

13.                        Laodicea as a lukewarm church is one thing. Laodicea as a cold, New Movement, Omega of Apostasy church that “removes God,” 1SM, 204-5, is quite another.  Lukewarmness is indicative of Ellen White’s definition of tares—insincere professing Christians, whose motives one would have to judge in order to uproot them.  Cold, apostate Laodiceans are quite another breed of professing Christians.  They are open THORN sinners, teaching the false gospel that forensic (legal) justification is the sum and substance of religion as far as meritorious salvation is concerned. That is the Doctrine of the Nicolaitans which God especially hates.  Christ sacrificed His Holy Ghost Divine Nature that we might be sanctified by His indwelling Divine Nature.  His indwelling presence is meritorious as well.  2Th 2:13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: 1Cr 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:  1Pe 1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: “Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.  1Th 4:3 For this is the will of God, [even] your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication.”  Thus we see that sanctification by the Spirit unto obedience is also meritorious toward our salvation and not just legal justification as taught by the New Theology advocates such as yourself Karl, and Desmond Ford.  This New Theology is taking over Laodicea and it is a false gospel that we are to accurse:  Gal 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

14.                        Regarding leaving a sinking ship, did Christ leave one sinking ship for another when he did the following: "Christ was a protestant...The Reformers date back to Christ and the apostles. They came out and separated themselves from a religion of forms and ceremonies. Luther and his followers did not invent the reformed religion. They simply accepted it as presented by Christ and the apostles." E.G. White, Review and Herald, vol. 2, 48, col. 2.

15.                        Defective as Israel was, it was indeed God's church until A.D. 34.  But a faithful few left it before A.D. 34, and indeed Jesus gathered the disciples out of it before A.D. 34.  DA, 232.  Here is proof that faithful Jews left during Jeremiah's day: 

"The recreant priests added licentiousness to the dark catalogue of their crimes yet they still polluted by their presence the tabernacle of the Lord, and, laden with sin, dared to come into the presence of a holy God. As the men of Israel witnessed the corrupt course of the priests, they thought it safer for their families not to come up to the appointed place of worship. Many went from Shiloh with their peace disturbed, their indignation aroused, until they at last determined to offer their sacrifices themselves, concluding that this would be fully as acceptable to God, as to sanction in any manner the abominations practiced in the Sanctuary." E.G. White, The Signs of the Times, vol. 1, p. 264, col. 3, December 1, 1881.

16.                        You said:  "Yet it is the one bringing people to the knowledge of the three angels’ message."  A number of points are apropos Karl: (a) More and more SDA leaders are shunning to give the three angel's messages because they are not popular.  Show me one Celebration church that is giving those messages.  Their criteria is nothing controversial so as to garner numbers. (b) It does no good to cross land and sea to make proselytes and then make them twice the child of hell by bringing them into a New Movement that has removed God.  You are saying that the Omega has not and never will occur.  Ellen White said that it would surely occur and wax stronger till Jesus comes.  (c)  Neal C. Wilson betrayed the gospel mission and commission of the SDA church before a Federal Court in San Francisco, per the following incident: 

17.                        "Although it is true that there was a period in the life of the Seventh-day Adventist Church when the denomination took a distinctly anti-Roman Catholic viewpoint...that attitude on the church's part was nothing more than a manifestation of widespread anti-popery among conservative Protestant denominations in the early part of this century and the latter part of the last, and which has now been consigned to the historical trash heap so far as the Seventh-day Adventist Church is concerned." (Neal C. Wilson, past president of the Seventh-day Adventist General Conference, Court Transcript of United States vs. the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission vs. the Pacific Press Publishing Association and the General Conference, Reply Brief for Defendants, p 4, Civil Case #74-2025 CBR, presided over by Judge Charles B. Renfrew, U.S. District Court, San Francisco, California, 1974-1975.)

That is a betrayal of the Everlasting Gospel which teaches that Rome is the beast power. The above betrayal was never repented of by the church.  All leaders are corporately responsible as well as all members.  Karl, here is your post of earlier today: ----- Original Message -----

Ron responded:   The premise is not mine Karl.  You indict me for applying the Word of God and the Spirit of Prophecy as follows:

 

So glad you mentioned that word "corporately."  Scripture teaches corporate responsibility in the following verses:

 

Mat 23:35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.


Luk 11:51 From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias, which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation.

 

Corporately means ALL ARE RESPONSIBLE VERSUS INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITY.  The reason for corporate responsibility in the professing Seventh-day Adventist Church is because it is organized under a hierarchical system whereby every member is responsible.  This is not the case in a Congregationalist system.  Ellen White further defined our hierarchical system by saying that we are a theocracy as was Israel.

 

Ellen White expands on the principle of Scripture in the following statements:

 

"The plain straight testimony must live in the church, or the curse of God will rest upon His people as surely as it did upon ancient Israel because of their sins. God holds His people, as a body [corporately], responsible for the sins existing in individuals among them." Testimonies, vol. 3, p. 269.

 

Corporate responsibility: "For evils that we might have checked, we are just as responsible as if we were guilty." Desire of Ages, p. 44.

 

"We are just as responsible for evils that we might have checked in others by exercise of parental or pastoral authority as if the acts had been our own." Patriarchs &amp Prophets, 578.2

 

Every minister in the church is guilty for ALL the abominations therein.  Maybe folk like you and Confidential think that there are some good ones just because they do not agree with some of the abominations--OR EVEN ALL OF THEM.  But that does not excuse them if they will not cry out against those abominations and separate from them if the church will not reform.  They are corporately responsible AS INDIVIDUALS.

 

Karl Wagner, were it not for INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITY BECAUSE OF CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY, we would never had to come out of the fallen denominational churches!  There are wheat and tares there also, but the reason we had to come out is because of the open sinning thorns who teach a corrupt gospel.  Now there is a false gospel in the SDA church.  Maybe all ministers do not believe that false gospel along with all the other abominations, but they support it by their silence and their presence.  If any minister BARKED by sighing and crying for all the abominations, he would be speedily defrocked!  Ford was defrocked for less!

 

Karl, instead of just dropping the issue as you usually do when proven wrong, I am going to ask you to take a stand on this issue, one way or the other.  I will not let it die until you do!

18.                        That is when The Upward Look, 131, becomes apropos. 

19.                        Laodicea could have repented before she became a confederacy with Babylon, by joining its Associations, Councils, Girdings and Confederacies.  Then we were to fear and shun it:

20.                        Fear and Shun "'They that forsake the law praise the wicked.' Proverbs 28:4. When those who are uniting with the world, yet claiming great purity, plead for union with those who have ever been the opposers of the cause of truth, we should fear and shun them as decidedly as did Nehemiah. Such counsel is prompted by the enemy of all good. It is the speech of timeservers, and should be resisted as resolutely today as then. Whatever influence would tend to unsettle the faith of God' people in His guiding power, should be steadfastly withstood." E.G. White, Prophets and kings, p. 660.

21.                        The SDA church militant WILL NOT give the last Loud Cry call of the message.  The faithful will do it from the wilderness, Ezekiel 20:34-38.

22.                        Only the church triumphant will give the Loud Cry--the 144,000 Philadelphians, for only they receive the seal of the Holy Spirit in order to give that call out of the fallen churches.  They will be aided by many faithful martyrs.

23.                        God is not dependent on Laodicea as though He needed anything.  The Upward Look, 131.

24.                        It will not profit anyone to be taught a false gospel of the Nicolaitans that all we need do is “believe only” as such relates to mental assent only.

25.                        Your notion that no matter what the church does, no matter how defective it becomes, it will still be the vehicle for the last message, is refuted by Ellen G. White.  She said the last message was not committed to the church, to wit:

26.                        "Jesus sends  HIS PEOPLE a message of warning to prepare them for his coming. To the prophet John was made known the closing work in the great plan of man's redemption. He beheld an angel flying 'in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him for the hour of his Judgment is come and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters [Rev. 14:6, 7.].

The angel represented in prophecy as delivering this message,  symbolizes a class of faithful men, who, obedient to the promptings of God's Spirit and the teachings of his word, proclaim this warning to the inhabitants of earth. This message was not to be committed to the religious leaders of the people. They had failed to preserve their connection with God, and had REFUSED THE LIGHT FROM HEAVEN therefore they WERE NOT of the number described by the apostle Paul: 'But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day we are not of the night nor of darkness [1 Thess. 5:4, 5].

 

The watchmen upon the walls of Zion should be the first to catch the tidings of the Saviour's advent, the first to lift their voices to proclaim him near, the first to warn the people to prepare for his coming. But they were at ease, dreaming of peace and safety, while the people were asleep in their sins. Jesus saw HIS CHURCH, like the barren fig-tree, covered with pretentious leaves, yet destitute of precious fruit. There was a boastful observance of the forms of religion, while the spirit of true humility, penitence and faith--which alone could render the service acceptable to God--was lacking. Instead of the graces of the Spirit, there were manifested pride, formalism, vainglory, selfishness, oppression. A BACKSLIDING CHURCH closed their eyes to the signs of the times. God did nor forsake them, or suffer his faithfulness to fail but they departed from him, and SEPARATED THEMSELVES from his love. As they  REFUSED TO COMPLY WITH THE CONDITIONS, his promises were NOT FULFILLED to them."  E.G. White, The Spirit of Prophecy,  vol. 4, pp. 199-200 [The 1884 edition of The Great Controversy, NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH TESTIMONIES, VOL 4].

27.                        I will not call the world into a church that is in liaison with Babylon.  That is an oxymoron God will not abide!  It is impossible to call folk out of Babylon when the church is allied to Babylon.  I showed my friend (Mr. X) what I sent to you Karl, the pages I sent you from the Directory Christian Councils, where SDA's are listed as FULL MEMBERS of the WCC, in some countries of the world.  He just shook his head in amazement!  It didn't faze you Karl.

28.                        I do not have to be a franchised member of the Roman Catholic church in order to protest its evils.  I do not have to be a member of Rome's daughter churches in order to voice the truth concerning them!  Jesus did not have to be a franchised MEMBER of the Jewish apostate church in order to tell them their sins.  Since your leaders will not do it, and since the leaders of the Jews did not do it, God appointed special messengers to do the work His "chosen" people leaders would not do!  Read all about them in all the minor and major prophets of Scripture! 

29.                        Jesus and the disciples were not kicked out.  Neither were those they gathered out.  Neither were the reformers of every succeeding generation since Christ, Desire of Ages, 232.  All who were called out of the fallen churches in 1844, were not kicked out!  Members we call out of Babylon NOWADAYS are not kicked out.  They LEAVE OF THEIR OWN VOLITION.

31.                        You tell your conference president that the papal flag paraded in the last GC Session does not impress you!  Whoopee! Roman Catholicism did not impress Luther either!  Apostate Judaism did not impress Christ either!  They did not merely say as you have Karl:  "I am not impressed!"

32.                        Regarding the leaders being "dumb-dogs" at this stage of the game:  God, through Isaiah, pegged them as "dumb-dogs" loooooooong before A.D. 34.  He prophesied in 790-739 B.C., SDA Bible Commentary, Vol. 4, p. 83.  So for over 730 years, Isaiah was calling the apostate leaders "dumb-dogs," before the close of Israel's probation in A.D. 34.  Had you been there, you would most likely have been protesting to Isaiah as you are protesting to me, telling God's servant what his message should be!

33.                        Ellen White dubbed the leaders as dumb-dogs in 1882.  She did not exempt any of them!  She said they would NEVER AGAIN show the House of Jacob their sins.  And so it has been and is! 

34.                        Concerning hurrying prophecy along, or as some dub it--running ahead of the angel, God has given explicit instruction as to when we should fear and shun as Nehemiah did.  Was Jeremiah running ahead of the angel in chapter 11:9-15?  Were the people who left Shiloh in Jeremiah's day hurrying prophecy along?  No, in every generation God has had faithful Reformers who have had to leave the church of their father's in order to tell the truth, DA, 232.  Were they running ahead of the angel--IN EVERY SUCCEEDING GENERATION SINCE CHRIST.  You do show you great lack of knowledge and discernment Karl.

35.                        Karl, brother, I have a statistic company that records all the countries my message goes to daily and the number of hits in those countries.  If you think I am sitting in a corner doing nothing, better wake up friend!  My warning message has now gone into nearly every country of the world, and every country the church has gone into so far!

36.                        Your church has agreed to the World Council of Churches rule that only the unchurched should be evangelized and that no sheep stealing will be imbibed by the SDA church.  That is directly contrary to the mission and commission of the Seventh-day Adventist church.  They have lied and deceived the WCC.  But that will only anger Babylon, and they will finally destroy the SDA church.  The SDA Bible commentary says that it is they who wield the slaughter weapons.  How do I know that the SDA church has agreed not to steal sheep?  Because the church is a MEMBER of the National Council of Churches in several countries of the world!  How do I know that?  Three ways and means Karl: (A) God has shown me this is true.  (B) The countries I refer to will not permit ANY church to operate unless it is a MEMBER of the National Council of Churches of that country. (C) I have a copy of Directory Christian Councils, which lists SDAs as FULL MEMBERS IN Belize, Hong Kong, Sweden, The Cook Islands, and The Bahamas.  Your leaders have lied to you Karl.  My bible says that they are liars and that all who are led of them are destroyed, Isaiah 9:16.

37.                        The reason the pioneers you name were not Laodicean is because they were faithful Philadelphians even though they tried to come to the aid of Laodicea.  Would you like to call Ellen White a Laodicean?  I wouldn't!  Neither would I dare call James White a Laodicean.  Nor would I call any of the faithful SDA pioneers Laodicean. They were part of the SDA church triumphant. Nothing LUKEWARM about any of them!  It was the laity that became Laodicean!  

38.                        Contrary to popular SDA opinion, the cherished SDA error that the church triumphant does not exist until the SDA church militant is purged and purified, is just that--CHERISHED ERROR.

39.                        "The members of the church triumphant--the church in heaven--will be permitted to draw near to the members of the church militant, to aid them in their necessity." E. G. White, The Southern Watchman, Sep. 8, 1903.

40.                        The church in heaven has earthly representative.  In every generation there has been a faithful few and they constitute the church triumphant in any generation, AA, pp. 11, 12. DA, 232.  The church triumphant members can co-exist with church militants AS MEMBERS, until they apostatize.  Then they must operate from the outside as the SDA church did with the fallen churches.

41.                        Sorry friend, the church was faithful in their day.  Ellen White's statement on "dumb-dogs" that will NEVER AGAIN bark to show the House of Jacob its sins, was penned in 1882 (see flyleaf of 5T).  James White died in 1881:

Tired Warrior
at Rest

 

     On the balmy afternoon of the Sabbath, August 6, quite a large number of solemn-faced Adventists residing in Battle Creek drifted to the grounds of the Sanitarium and milled around the lobby of the main building. They had come to keep vigil for James White. These were his friends, those with whom he had worked, and members of the church he had pastored. They had come knowing that James White, critically ill at the Sanitarium, had just taken a serious turn for the worse. In the early afternoon the report was whispered that he was unconscious and very near death's door. Not a few were seen to furtively wipe away tears. It was all so sudden, so tragic. {3BIO 168.1}

 

     Just a week before, they had seen him accompanying his wife to the Tabernacle and join her on the platform. Now, any moment he would breathe his last. They felt they must be near. At five-fifteen, the dreaded word came: James White was dead. The people were stunned. {3BIO 168.2}

 

     Some called to mind that just a few days before they had read his editorial in the Review carrying the title "Words of Comfort," dealing with the Christian's hope. In this he asked the question "Is there hope beyond the grave?"      Very shortly after his death, Ellen White recounted their experience through the last week of his life, beginning with

Sabbath, July 30. This was three days after the carriage trip home from Charlotte: {3BIO 168.4}

43. The dumb-dog entitlement goes to a church that has been unfaithful to God's directives.  The church fell in and out of the Laodicean state, just as Israel of old fell in and out of apostasy.  God used very severe means of curbing apostasy in the case of Israel.  Many were killed under Moses' leadership.  The Levites killed about 3,000 apostates in one whacking. If the problem wont be solved by leaving one sinking ship for another, we should not have left the ships we left in 1844.  Your private opinion that God will not continue to work on that principle is negated by Ellen White:

 

 

44. "The Lord Jesus will always have a chosen people to serve Him. When the Jewish people rejected Christ, the Prince of life. He took from them the kingdom of God and gave it unto the Gentiles. God will continue to work on this principle with every branch of His work. When a church proves unfaithful to the work of the Lord, whatever their position may be, however high and sacred their calling, the Lord can no longer work with them. Others are then chosen to bear important responsibilities. But, if these in turn do not purify their lives from every wrong action, if they do not establish pure and holy principles in all their borders, then the Lord will grievously afflict and humble them and, unless they repent, will remove them from their place and make them a reproach.

God is not 'worshipped with men's hands, as tough he needed any thing' (Acts 17:25). E. G. White, The Upward Look, 131.

The following counsel applies to the Laodicean church: 

 

45  Regular lines -  “So often the same old difficulties arise and are presented in regard to disturbing the ‘regular lines.’ But God will work in some way to make His people understand that THE REGULAR LINES HAVE BECOME FULL OF IRREGULAR PRACTICES…God alone can make men understand that working on REGULAR LINES has led to IRREGULAR PRACTICES.  God alone can make men’s minds as they should be.  The time has come when we should hear les in favor of the REGULAR LINES.  If we can GET AWAY FROM THE REGULAR LINES into something which, THOUGH IRREGULAR, IS AFTER GOD’S ORDER, it may cut away something of the IRREGULAR WORKING which has led away from Bible principles.”  E.G. My document of just yesterday, February 22, 2006, was lost on you Karl.  Evidently you did not comprehend it, for it would have answered most of your questions concerning Laodicea.  God gives Laodicea chances to repent, just as He gave Israel many chances.  The faithful finally left apostate, unrepentant Israel.  So it will be with unrepentant Laodicean Adventism. 

 

49.  My message is:  Believe in all Scripture and the SOP in a way so that nothing contradicts.  That formula exposes many cherished errors.

 

"In the time of the Saviour, the Jews had so covered over the precious jewels of truth with the rubbish of tradition and fable, that it was impossible to distinguish the true from the false. The Saviour came to clear away the rubbish of superstition and long-cherished errors, and to set the jewels of God's word in the framework of truth. What would the Saviour do if he should come to us now as he did to the Jews? He would have to do a similar work in clearing away the rubbish of tradition and ceremony. The Jews were greatly disturbed when he did this work [As are SDAs today!]. They had lost sight of the original truth of God, but Christ brought it again to view. It is our work to free the precious truths of God from superstition and error." E.G. White,  Review and Herald, vol. 2, 308. 

 

The Lord has commissioned me to do this work of clearing away the rubbish of cherished error, tradition and ceremony.  The Jews did not like it when Christ did it.  SDA won't like it any better!

 

The only current day COUNTERPART to the Jewish "chosen people" claiming to keep the commandments of God, is the professing SDA church:

 

COUNTERPART: "The Lord commanded one of his ancient servants, 'Pray not thou for this people [Jer. 7:16 and 11:14], neither lift up cry nor prayer for them neither make intercession to me for I will not hear thee.' The prophet thus describes the sins which had called forth this fearful denunciation: 'The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means and my people love to have it so and what will ye do in the end thereof?' 'From the least of them even unto the greatest of them, every one is given to covetousness and from the prophet even unto the priest, every one dealeth falsely. They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace, when there is no peace.' The apostles declare that this state of things will find its COUNTERPART in the last days. Many have a form of godliness, but in their daily life deny the power thereof. They have ceased to be convicted of their sins or alarmed at their state. They say in their hearts, 'The church is flourishing. Peace and spiritual prosperity are within her borders.' The words of the prophet may well apply to these self-deceivers, 'They have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations. Dear Reader,

 

Here is what the Lord has shown me concerning all the Laodicean church militant denominations in outline form for articulation purposes that others might more easily comprehend the truth of the final Loud Cry shaking message to all organized churches. 

 

God showed me that the people of poorer countries could copy this outline of my warning message on a few pieces of paper and be able to give the message easily.

 

 "The state of the Church represented by the foolish virgins, is also spoken of as the Laodicean state." E. G. White, Review and Herald Articles,  Vol. 2, 420.

  • Obviously, from the above definition of Laodicea—the foolish virgins, Laodicea does not go through.  It is only the wise virgins who are finally gathered out of Laodicea who will be saved.  That will be proven beyond a particle of a doubt in the following study.  That is a most startling Revelation to all who have believed that Laodicea goes through.
  • All denominational church militants are Laodicean:
  • "The warning for the last church [Laodicea] also must be proclaimed to all who claim to be Christians. The Laodicean message, like a sharp, two--edged sword, must go to ALL THE CHURCHES:...It is our work to proclaim this message. Are we putting forth every effort that the churches may be warned?" Testimonies, vol. 6, p. 77.
  • All the 10 virgins slept.  Matthew 25:5.
  •  The bride awakens first.  Isaiah 62, for in verse 11, she is instructed to say something to her daughter.
  • The bride is awakened by God, as Jesus awakened the disciples.  Then she awakens the 10 virgins.  COL, 405-6.
  • In 1844, the bride was Philadelphia awakening the other churches.  Ellen White said that they all are Laodicean.
  • The wise virgins in those churches heeded the call of the bride to go out to meet Him.
  • Laodicea consists of both wheat and tares. They are to dwell together until the harvest.
  • But if the leadership becomes foolish virgins who will NEVER AGAIN, show the House of Jacob its sins, the following warning is applicable:
  • When Laodicea repents and buys what she is counseled to buy in Revelation 3, she is no longer Laodicean—lukewarm.
  • Historic Laodicea, circa the time of Christ, never repented as a church body.  She was spewed out.
  • “(Col. 4:12, 13). Labor Lost on the Church in Laodicea.—[Rev. 3:15-22 quoted.] This is the testimony borne concerning the church at Laodicea.,  This church had been faithfully instructed.  In his letter to the Colossians, Paul wrote: “Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.  For I bear him record, that he hath a great zeal for you, and them that are in Laodicea, and them in Hierapolis.” Much excellent labor was bestowed upon the Laodicean church.  To them was given the exhortation, “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.”  But the church did not follow up the work begun by God’s messengers.  They heard, but they failed to appropriate the truth to themselves, and to carry out the instruction given them.  The result that followed is the result always sure to follow the rejection of the Lord’s warnings and entreaties (MS 128, 1903). SDA Bible Commentary, Vol. 7, p. 964.
  • So there you have an inspired statement that Laodicea was lost and is lost as the foolish virgins.
  •  "If the church of God becomes LUKEWARM [LAODICEAN] it does not stand in favor with God any more than do the churches that are represented as having fallen and become the habitation of devils and the hold of every foul spirit and the cage of every unclean and hateful bird. Those who have had opportunities to hear and receive the truth, and who have united with the Seventh-day Adventist church, calling themselves the commandment keeping people of God, and yet possess no more vitality and consecration to God than do the nominal churches, will receive of the plagues of God just as verily as the churches who oppose the law of God." E.G. White, Letter 35, 1898.

  • The church became Laodicean before it was organized.  All churches are Laodicean said Ellen White.
  • So the call of the bride is to all Laodicean churches.  What is her call?  COL 405-6.
  • But there is another element to consider.  Laodicea became infected with THORNS, OPEN SINNERS--OPEN SIN THAT INVOLVED GROSS, OMEGA APOSTASY.
  • Laodicea did not reform such sinners or remove them if they would not reform.
  • Scripture and the SDA Bible Commentary both say that THORNS choke the wheat and make it impossible for the wheat to mature.
  • "The thorns of sin will grow in any soil they need no cultivation but grace must be carefully cultivated. The briers and thorns are always ready to spring up, and the work of purification must advance continually.... The thorns that have been cut off but not uprooted grow apace, until the soul [and/or the church] is overspread with them." E.G. White, Christ's Object Lessons, p. 50.
  • "The gospel seed often falls among thorns and noxious weeds and if there is not a moral transformation in the human heart, if old habits and practices and the former life of sin are not left behind, if the attributes of Satan are not expelled from the soul, [and/or the church] the wheat crop will be choked. The thorns will come to be the crop, and will kill out the wheat." Christ's Object Lessons, p. 50.
  • "Thorns sprung up.--The thorns made it impossible for the wheat to mature (see Luke 8:14). In the same way secular interest prevent the fruits of the Spirit (Gal. 5:22, 23) from reaching maturity. Religion is relegated to the subordinate position of being only one interest among many. For lack of cultivation it withers and eventually dies. That which the thorny-ground hearers lack is a moral transformation (COL 50). To them, justification is the sum and substance of religion, and they fail to realize that the Christian life consists essentially in the process known as sanctification--the process by which evil traits and tendencies are replaced by the perfect life-pattern of Jesus Christ." SDA Bible Commentary, vol. 5, 405.
  • Thorns teach a false gospel--the Doctrine of the Nicolaitans--that justification is the sum and substance of religion and say that sanctification is not meritorious toward our salvation.  Thus, that leaves one thing--ONLY BELIEVE, the doctrine of the Nicolaitans that God especially hates.
  • Were it possible for the wheat to dwell with open sinning, apostate thorns, there never would have been the need for any separation among God’s people over the ages.
  • So the wheat must leave the OPEN SINNERS to mature, when ordinarily they would remain with the tares until the harvest.
  • This scenario has been enacted at various times in history; notably the Reformation and 1844.
  • This scenario is in progress now and will continue until the Loud Cry to all churches. 
  • The bride is awakened by God for she is to be undefiled with women (apostate churches).
  • The bride is the true Reformers:
  • "Characteristics of True Reformers.--Here are given the characteristics of those who shall be reformers, who will bear the banner of the third angel's message, those who avow themselves God's commandment-keeping people, and who honor God, and are earnestly engaged, in the sight of all the universe, in building up the old waste places. Who is it that calls them, The repairers of the breach, The restorers of paths to dwell in? It is God. Their names are registered [written--Heb. 12:22, 23] in heaven as reformers, restorers, as raising the foundations of many generations." E. G. White, SDA Bible Commentary, Vol. 4, 1151.
  • The bride will be taken out in the wilderness Ezekiel 20:34-38.
  • The tares are shaken out of the Kingdom (Matt. 13:47-50) by the bride out in the wilderness--giving the final Loud  Cry with the aid of the Holy Spirit to all the inhabitants of earth.  She will be helped by many who accept her call and give their lives in martyrdom.
  • Such martyrs will be seed for fruit.
  • The bad are thus shaken out of the church triumphant (bride), and not out of the various church militant denominations.
  • The bad are shaken into the various church militant denominational churches for burning and melting (Ezekiel 22:17-31).
  • The rebels are shaken out of the heavenly church (Heb. 12:22, 23--Matt. 13:47-50), by the Loud Cry shaking message of the bride church triumphant. 
  • Christ Object Lessons, 405-406 confirms this scenario.
  • Ellen White said that Ezekiel 9 is literally repeated.
  • "Study the 9th chapter of Ezekiel. These words will be literally fulfilled yet the time is passing, and the people are asleep. They refuse to humble their souls and to be converted. Not a great while longer will the Lord bear with the people who have such great and important truths revealed to them, but who refuse to bring these truths into their individual experience. The time is short. God is calling will YOU hear? Will YOU receive His message? Will YOU be converted before it is too late? Soon, very soon, every case will be decided for eternity. Letter 106, 1909, pp. 2, 3, 5, 7. (To "The churches in Oakland and Berkeley, September 26, 1909.)" E. G. White Manuscript Releases Volume One, p. 260.
  • Ezekiel 9 Begins at God’s church—Begin at My Sanctuary -- "Here we see that the church--the Lord's sanctuary--was the first to feel the stroke of the wrath of God. The ancient men, those to whom God had given great light and who had stood as guardians of the spiritual interests of the people, had betrayed their trust. They had taken the position that we need not look for miracles and the marked manifestation of God's power as in former days. Times have changed. These words strengthen their unbelief, and they say: The Lord will not do good, neither will He do evil. He is too merciful to visit His people in judgment. Thus 'Peace and safety" is the cry from men who will never again lift up their voice like a trumpet to show God's people their transgressions and the house of Jacob their sins. These dumb dogs that would not bark are the ones who feel the just vengeance of an offended God. Men, maidens, and little children all perish together." E. G. White, Testimonies, Vol. 5, 211.
  • The following evidence of ecumenical involvement is a violation of strictly forbidden practice according to Isaiah 8:9-13.  For this the SDA church militant will be broken in pieces.  (See the marginal reference for “a slaughter weapon,” Ezk. 9:2—“a weapon of his breaking in pieces). 
  • In the 1985, the World Council of Churches, published a Directory of Christian Councils.  In that publication, Seventh-day Adventists are listed as MEMBERS of the WCC in the following countries:
  • Hong Kong
  • The Bahamas
  • BelizeSweden
  • Cook Islands
  • Hunconfidential--The church admitted in the Review that it had been a member of the Council of Free Churches in Hunconfidential for over 30 years. The above listed countries will not permit a church to operate without MEMBERSHIP in the National Council of Churches.  So why did the SDA church join the WCC and its subsidiary National Councils of Churches and more localized Ministerial Associations?  There are a number of reasons:
  • To receive financial assistance by way of cheaper radio and Television rates.  Elder B. B. Beach told me this over the phone.
  • "We are never to confederate with men of the world in order to receive financial assistance." E.G. White, Testimonies, Vol. 9, p. 233.
  • To be able to operate above ground in countries where WCC membership is mandatory so as to get more members which means more money.  The church could have gone underground as did the faithful SDA Reformers in Russia.
  • “His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. 11 Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter. 12 Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.”
  • The general love of numbers and mammon (money).  The more numbers (members), the more money:
  • Numbers -- "If you lower the standard in order to secure popularity and an increase of numbers, and then make this increase a cause of rejoicing (celebration), you show great blindness. If numbers were an evidence of success, Satan might claim the preeminence for, in this world, his followers are largely in the majority... It is the virtue, intelligence, and piety of the people composing our churches, not their numbers, that should be a source of joy and thankfulness. Counsels to Teachers, p. 94.
  • Ellen White says that Israel began its apostate journey downward by unlawful confederacies with God’s enemies.
  • Ellen White says when to separate—when to fear and shun:
  • Fear and Shun "'They that forsake the law praise the wicked.' Proverbs 28:4. When those who are uniting with the world, yet claiming great purity, plead for union with those who have ever been the opposers of the cause of truth, we should fear and shun them as decidedly as did Nehemiah. Such counsel is prompted by the enemy of all good. It is the speech of timeservers, and should be resisted as resolutely today as then. Whatever influence would tend to unsettle the faith of God' people in His guiding power, should be steadfastly withstood." E.G. White, Prophets and kings, p. 660.
  • The fallen churches have ever been the opposers of the cause of truth since they rejected the first and second angel’s messages.
  • The SDA church married itself to the world by adopting the World’s Accreditation Standards for education.  By that act in 1930, the church married itself to the world.
  • The SDA church adopted the central doctrine of the Catholic Church, the Trinity doctrine, in the 1930’s.  That doctrine totally denies the great sacrifice of the Son of God in laying aside (emptying Himself) of His pre-Incarnation Divine ONLY Nature life and soul, as a bequeathed gift to man for overcoming sin and regeneration back into the image of God.  The trinity doctrine teaches no such sacrifice.  It teaches that the third person Holy Spirit always existed as a separate person from eternity.  Ellen White says that the Holy Spirit is the life and soul of Christ, and Scripture affirms that interpretation when it says in John 14 that another Comforter will come to you and then Christ says in verse 18, I will come to you.  It is His pre-Incarnation Holy Ghost Spirit that comes to us.  That one eternal Spirit is shared by Father, Son and Holy Ghost.  That is what makes them ONE GOD.
  • Hbr 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
  • The eternal Spirit means ONE SPIRIT.
  • "The Power of God in the Third Person.--The prince of the power of evil can only be held in check by the power of God in the third person of the Godhead, the Holy Spirit.-- Special Testimonies, Series A, No. 10, p. 37. (1897).
  • Act 3:26  Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities. 
  • Thus, the Holy Spirit is not just a Comforter, as the Trinity Doctrine implies. The important point is that the Holy Spirit is far more than the Trinity Doctrine implies.
  • The Destruction of Jerusalem A.D. 70 was a PREFIGURE, p. 25, The Great Controversy.
  • All past destructions of Jerusalem Ezekiel, chapters 5 and 9, were PREFIGURES of the final destruction of spiritual Jerusalem, the professing SDA church militant.
  • A faithful remnant escapes, Ezekiel 5:1-3, and Isaiah 37:31, 32.
  • The ancient prophets wrote PRIMARILY for us:
  • "The Bible for Our Time.--Never are we absent from the mind of God. God is our joy and our salvation. Each of the ancient prophets spoke less for their own time than for ours, so that their prophesying is in force for us. 'Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come' (1 Cor. 10:11). 'Not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven which things the angels desire to look into' (1 Peter 1:12).'" E.G. White, Selected Messages, vol. 3, p. 338.
  • This (above) is why Isaiah 37:31, 32 applies regardless of its historic application.
  • Ezekiel 9 confirms this scenario.  Ezekiel 9 is manifested because of the abominations listed in Ezekiel 8.  There is a counterpart for all those abominations in the SDA church today.
  • The SDA Church is now holding sacred worship services on Sunday in places.  The church will instruct its members to keep Sunday:
  • "The Lord has a controversy with his professed people in these last days. In this controversy men in responsible positions will take a course directly opposite to that pursued by Nehemiah. They will not only ignore and despise the Sabbath themselves, but they will try to keep it from others by burying it beneath the rubbish of custom and tradition. In churches and in large gatherings in the open air, ministers, will urge upon the people the necessity of keeping the first day of the week." E.G. White, Review and Herald, vol. 1, p. 405, col. 3.
  • The SDA church told parents in Russia to send their children to school on Sabbath.
  • Ezekiel 5 confirms the scenario this study presents.
  • The PREFIGURE TYPE of A.D. 70 confirms this scenario.
  • Ellen White said that the tares are burned in the field and that the church and the world are the field.  The garner is Heb. 12:22, 23.
  • Tares are burned in the field.  COL, 70.
  • "The 'field,' Christ said, 'is the world.' But we must understand this as signifying the church of Christ in the world. The parable is a description of that which pertains to the kingdom of God, His work of salvation of men and this work is accomplished through the church. True, the Holy Spirit has gone out into all the world everywhere it is moving upon the hearts of men but it is in the church that we are to grow and ripen for the garner of God." Christ's Object Lessons. 70.
  • If thorns (open apostate sinners) are permitted to grow, especially in leadership positions, then the wheat cannot ripen (mature) for the garner of God.  Separation then becomes absolutely necessary.
  • Christ is our example in separating from apostate bodies:
  • "Christ was a protestant...The Reformers date back to Christ and the apostles. They came out and separated themselves from a religion of forms and ceremonies. Luther and his followers did not invent the reformed religion. They simply accepted it as presented by Christ and the apostles." E.G. White, Review and Herald, vol. 2, 48, col. 2.
  • Christ’s followers, the true Jerusalem church, were not sealed (Ezekiel 9 sealing) in the apostate Jewish church.  They were sealed in True Jerusalem.  Both churches has headquarters in Jerusalem.  The disciples were hiding in the upper room when they received the sealing of the Holy Spirit.  They were hiding from the apostate Jews.
  • "The Sanhedrin had rejected Christ's message and was bent upon His death therefore Jesus departed from Jerusalem, from the priests, the temple, the religious leaders, the people who had been instructed in the law, and turned to another class to proclaim His message, and to gather out those who should carry the gospel to all nations. As the light and life of men was rejected by the ecclesiastical authorities in the days of Christ, so it has been rejected in every succeeding generation. Again and again the history of Christ's withdrawal from Judea has been repeated. When the Reformers preached the word of God, they had no thought of separating themselves from the established church but the religious leaders would not tolerate the light, and those that bore it were forced to seek another class, who were longing for the truth. In our day few of the professed followers of the Reformers are actuated by their spirit. Few are listening for the voice of God, and ready to accept truth in whatever guise it may be presented. Often those who follow in the steps of the Reformers are forced to turn away from the churches they love, in order to declare the plain teaching of the word of God. And many times those who are seeking for light are by the same teaching obliged to leave the church of their fathers, that they may render obedience." E.G. White, Desire of Ages, 232.
  • The outcome of the professing SDA church militant is prophesied in Ezekiel, Chapters 1-9.
  • Ellen White prophesied the Omega of Apostasy “among” SDA’s:
  • "One thing it is certain is soon to be realized, the great apostasy, which is developing and increasing and waxing stronger, and will continue to do so until the Lord shall descend from heaven with a shout. We are to hold fast the first principles of our denominated faith, and go forward from strength to increased faith. Ever we are to keep the faith that has been substantiated by the Holy Spirit of God from the earlier events of our experience until the present time. We need now larger breadth, and deeper, more earnest, unwavering faith in the leadings of the Holy Spirit. If we needed the manifest proof of the Holy Spirit's power to confirm truth in the beginning, after the passing of the time, we need to-day all the evidence in the confirmation of the truth, when souls are departing from the faith and giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. There must not be any languishing of soul now." (E.G. White, Special Testimonies, Series B, No. 7, p. 57).
  • We were never to join ANY New Movement.  Satan knew that, so he came in and formed one “AMONG” SDA’s, and they are non the wiser:
  • "The enemy of souls has sought to bring in the supposition that a great reformation was to take place among Seventh-day Adventists, and that this reformation would consist in giving up the doctrines which stand as the pillars of our faith, and engaging in a process of reorganization. Were this reformation to take place, what would result? The principles of truth that God in His wisdom has given to the remnant church, would be discarded. Our religion would be changed. The fundamental principles that have sustained the work for the last fifty years would be accounted as error. A NEW ORGANIZATION would be established. Books of a NEW ORDER would be written. A system of intellectual philosophy would be introduced. The founders of this system would go into the cities, and do a wonderful work. The Sabbath of course, would be lightly regarded, as also the God who created it. Nothing would be allowed to stand in the way of the NEW MOVEMENT. The leaders would teach that virtue is better than vice, but GOD BEING REMOVED, they would place their dependence on human power, which, without God, is worthless. Their foundation would be built on the sand, and storm and tempest would sweep away the structure. Who has authority to begin such a [NEW] movement? We have our Bibles, we have our experience, attested to by the miraculous working of the Holy Spirit. We have a truth that admits of no compromise. Shall we not repudiate everything that is not in harmony with this truth? E.G. White, Selected Messages, vol. 1, 204, 205.
  • The outcome of the professing SDA church militant is prophesied by Ellen White as follows:
  • "Jesus sends  HIS PEOPLE a message of warning to prepare them for his coming. To the prophet John was made known the closing work in the great plan of man's redemption. He beheld an angel flying 'in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him for the hour of his Judgment is come and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters [Rev. 14:6, 7.]. The angel represented in prophecy as delivering this message,  symbolizes a class of faithful men, who, obedient to the promptings of God's Spirit and the teachings of his word, proclaim this warning to the inhabitants of earth. This message was not to be committed to the religious leaders of the people. They had failed to preserve their connection with God, and had REFUSED THE LIGHT FROM HEAVEN therefore they WERE NOT of the number described by the apostle Paul: 'But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day we are not of the night nor of darkness' [1 Thess. 5:4, 5]. The watchmen upon the walls of Zion should be the first to catch the tidings of the Saviour's advent, the first to lift their voices to proclaim him near, the first to warn the people to prepare for his coming. But they were at ease, dreaming of peace and safety, while the people were asleep in their sins. Jesus saw HIS CHURCH, like the barren fig-tree, covered with pretentious leaves, yet destitute of precious fruit. There was a boastful observance of the forms of religion, while the spirit of true humility, penitence and faith--which alone could render the service acceptable to God--was lacking. Instead of the graces of the Spirit, there were manifested pride, formalism, vainglory, selfishness, oppression. A BACKSLIDING CHURCH closed their eyes to the signs of the times. God did nor forsake them, or suffer his faithfulness to fail but they departed from him, and SEPARATED THEMSELVES from his love. As they  REFUSED TO COMPLY WITH THE CONDITIONS, his promises were NOT FULFILLED to them."  E.G.   • SDA Corporate Church Brought Down to Hell! Is Such a Church THE CHURCH That the Gates of Hell Will not Prevail Against? The following statement is presented just as it appears in its reference. All bracketed portions are just as Ellen White inserted them:
  • "And thou, Capernaum [Seventh-day Adventists, who have had great light], which art exalted unto heaven [in point of privilege], shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom IN THE DAY OF JUDGMENT, than for thee." E.G. White, Review and Herald Articles, vol. 3, p. 69, col. 3.
  • Such pronouncements have the ring of a true prophet! Capernaum was a corporate city, and the SDA is Biblically represented as a corporate city, the corporate city of Jerusalem. It will be brought down to hell as a corporate city [church], except for a small remnant who escape, Ezekiel 5:1-5, as was the case with Israel in the 70 A.D. destruction of Jerusalem.
  • "They that forsake the law praise the wicked.' Proverbs 28:4. When those who are uniting with the world, yet claiming great purity, plead for union with those who have ever been the opposers of the cause of truth, we should fear and shun them as decidedly as did Nehemiah. Such counsel is prompted by the enemy of all good. It is the speech of timeservers, and should be resisted as resolutely today as them. Whatever influence would tend to unsettle the faith of God's people in His guiding power, should be steadfastly withstood." E.G. White, Prophets and Kings, p. 661.
  • "Those who are uniting with the world [and churches that cannot be distinguished from the world, Early Writings, 273] are receiving the worldly mold and preparing for the mark of the beast." Testimonies, vol. 5, 216."
  • "I then saw the THIRD ANGEL. Said my accompanying angel, 'Fearful is his work. Awful is his mission. He is the angel that is to select the wheat from the tares, and seal, or bind, the wheat for the heavenly garner." E.G. White, Early Writings, 118.

  • "The third angel's message will not be comprehended, the light which will lighten the earth with its glory will be called a false light, by those who refuse to walk in its advancing glory." E.G. White, Review and Herald, 5-27-1890, p. 321.
  • In Isaiah 4:1-4, at the end-time all formally organized churches symbolized by seven women, are doing their own thing contrary to God’s commands and purposes.  Zion is the true Jerusalem church.  She gets the name New Jerusalem, Revelation 3:10-12 and Isaiah 62.  She is married.  She is the bride of Christ.  Zion is the bride and her daughters are guests at the wedding, The Great Controversy, p. 426-7.
  • "The marriage represents the reception by Christ of His kingdom. The Holy City, the New Jerusalem, which is the capital and representative of the kingdom, is called 'the bride, the Lamb's wife.' Said the angel to John: 'Come hither, I will show thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.' 'He carried me away in the spirit,' says the prophet, 'and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God.' Revelation 21:9, 10. Clearly, then, the bride represents the Holy City, and the virgins that go out to meet the bridegroom are a symbol of the church [militant]. In the Revelation the people of God are said to be the guests at the marriage supper. Revelation 19:9. If guests, they cannot be represented also as the bride...He will receive the New Jerusalem, the capital of His kingdom, 'prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.'" E. G.   • Ezekiel 22:17-31, is the fate of all Laodicean church militant denominations.  Judgment begins at the house of God, and then the world.
