Mark Finley Will Never Tell You
Isa 56:10 His
watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot
bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.
Isa 56:11 Yea, they
are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot
understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his
quarter.
Isa 56:12 Come
ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink;
and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.
Mark: Current Challenges to the Church
“Finley explained that wider
contemporary issues present major challenges to a thriving church. “We live in
a time of cynicism,” he said. “People distrust organizations.”
Opposition to church organization—in
this case to Adventism—transcends ideological approaches, Finley said. “The far
right and the far left have one thing in common—they are united in criticizing
the church,” he said. “And no matter how conservative you are, there is another
person ten times more conservative than you that will ‘shoot’ at you.”
But going to one extreme or
the other is not the answer, he said. “If your religion makes you angrier, there
is something wrong with your religion,” Finley said. “And if your religion
makes you tolerant to sin, there is something wrong with your religion.”
"The enemy of souls has sought to bring in
the supposition that a great reformation was to take place among Seventh-day
Adventists, and that this reformation would consist
in giving up the doctrines which stand as the pillars of our faith,
and engaging in a process of reorganization. Were this reformation to take
place, what would result? The principles of truth that God in His wisdom has
given to the remnant church, would be discarded. Our religion would
be changed. The fundamental principles that have sustained the work
for the last fifty years would be accounted as error. A NEW ORGANIZATION would
be established. Books of a NEW ORDER would be written. A system of intellectual philosophy would be introduced. The
founders of this system would go into the cities, and do a wonderful work. The
Sabbath of course, would be lightly regarded, as also the God who created it. Nothing would be allowed to stand in the way of the NEW MOVEMENT.
The leaders would teach that virtue is better than vice, but GOD BEING REMOVED, they would place their dependence on human
power, which, without God, is worthless. Their foundation would be built
on the sand, and storm and tempest would sweep away the structure.
Who has authority to begin such a [NEW] movement?
We have our Bibles, we have our experience, attested to by the miraculous
working of the Holy Spirit. We have a truth that admits of no compromise. Shall we not repudiate everything that is not in harmony with this
truth? E.G. White, Selected Messages, Bk. 1, 204, 205.
Salvation
CONDITIONAL to Sighing and Crying for all the Abominations
Sighing and crying for all the abominations that be
done in the church, is a condition for being sealed by the Man in Linen,
Ezekiel 9. Only those who do so will be sealed. This is not mere criticism.
This is REPUDIATION of what apostate SDA leaders did to the church. It is they
who “SOUGHT TO BRING IN,” and indeed did bring in, all the omega heresies that
true reformers cry aloud and sigh and cry about. Isaiah 58, and Ellen White
said that Chapter is our work.
Eze 9:4 And
the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of
Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh
and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.
“Mark this point with care; those who receive the
pure mark of truth, wrought in them by the power of the Holy Ghost, represented
by the man in linen, are those "that sigh and cry for all the abominations
that are done" in the church.
Their love for purity and the honor and glory of God is such, and they have so
clear a view of the exceeding sinfulness of sin, that they are
represented as being in an agony, even sighing and crying.” {RH,
June 8, 1886 par. 2}
Finley mock’s God’s counsel to sigh and cry, by
saying in effect that ALL who protest the abominations and Cry Aloud about
them, Isaiah 58:1, are just part of a far right or far left bunch of impostors
who “shoot” down one another. He makes absolutely no room for valid Crying
Aloud for all the abominations.
Finley said. “The far right and
the far left have one thing in common—they are united in criticizing the church,”
he said. “And no matter how conservative you are, there is another person ten
times more conservative than you that will ‘shoot’ at you.”
Ellen White said that the “dumb-dog” leaders would
NEVER AGAIN show the house of Jacob its sins. The reason this is so, is because
it is the leaders who have “brought in” the abominable heresies.
Begin at My Sanctuary -- "Here we see that the
church--the Lord's sanctuary--was the first to feel the stroke of the wrath of
God. The ancient men, those to whom God had given great light and who had stood
as guardians of the spiritual interests of the people, had betrayed their
trust. They had taken the position that we need not look for miracles and the
marked manifestation of God's power as in former days. Times have changed.
These words strengthen their unbelief, and they say: The Lord will not
do good, neither will He do evil. He is too merciful to visit His people in
judgment. Thus 'Peace and safety" is the cry from men who will
never again lift up their voice like a trumpet to show God's people their
transgressions and the house of Jacob their sins. These dumb dogs that would
not bark are the ones who feel the just vengeance of an offended God. Men,
maidens, and little children all perish together." E. G. White, Testimonies, Vol. 5, 211.
Notice the words of Finley that directly parallel
Ellen White’s statement that the leaders would say “The Lord will not do good,
neither will He do evil. He is TOO MERCIFUL to visit His people in judgment.”
Finley says the church’s survival is guaranteed
because of God’s grace. Finley admits only to mistakes and weaknesses, NO APOSTASY
AND ABOMINATIONS.
Finley as much as says that Jesus loves His church
no matter what it does, and that He will sanctify and cleanse it, and that the
future of the church is glorious because He has promised to present His church
as BLAMELESS.
It is from a mistaken interpretation of Testimonies,
Vol. 5, p. 81, that SDA’s have concluded that the bad are shaken out of the
church at the Sunday Law. That IS NOT the meaning of the statement, and proof
is the fact that Ezekiel 9 begins at His Church, His Sanctuary, along with all
the other evidence provided in this document. That statement means that the
gold (wheat) in all churches will be separated from the dross at the Sunday Law
Test, while the dross remains in those churches, THE FIELD, for slaughter and
burning. But in every succeeding
generation, True Reformers have left the church of their fathers because the
ecclesiastical leaders would not TOLERATE LIGHT in the event of apostasy. Desire
of Ages, 232. This is why the Midnight Cry says: “God Ye Out to Meet Him.”
The Church as
the Field Where the Dross (Tares) are Burned
It is impossible to grow and
ripen for the garner of God in an apostate church. That is why True Reformers
have left their churches in every succeeding generation, DA 232.
"It is IMPOSSIBLE for you to unite with those who
are corrupt, and still remain pure. (II Corinthians 6:14-15 quoted). God and
Christ and the heavenly host would have men know that if he unites with the
corrupt he will become corrupt." E. G. White, Review and Herald, Vol. 4, p. 137.
All Who Unite
With the Corrupt Become Corporately Responsible for Their Abominations
The very reason Christ and His disciples and true
reformers of all ages have separated, is because it is impossible to unite with
the corrupt and remain/become pure. And, because one becomes corporately
responsible for the abominations by supporting an apostate church without your
presence and/or sacred tithe.
“The children were not condemned for the sins of the
parents; but when, with a knowledge of all the light given to their parents,
the children rejected the additional light granted to themselves, they became
partakers of the parents' sins, and filled up the measure of their iniquity.” The Great Controversy, p. 28.
"Christ
has plainly taught that those who persist in open sin must be separated from
the church..." E. G. White, Christ's Object Lessons, 71.
When
the leaders won’t separate open sin from the church because they are the very
ones who have brought it into the church, then the faithful must separate. That
is why Jesus and His disciples separated. That is why Protestants separated.
That is why Adventists separated in 1844. But according to Isaiah 37:31, 32,
THERE IS ONE MORE GOING OUT OF APOSTATE JERUSALEM. NOT JUST BABYLON, BUT
APOSTATE JERUSALEM, and this is why it is a misnomer to refer to the apostate
SDA church as Babylon.
"The names of those who sin and refuse to repent
should not be retained on the church books, lest the saints be held
accountable for their evil deeds. Those who pursue a course of
transgression should be visited and labored with, and if they then refuse to
repent, they should be separated from church fellowship, in accordance with the
rules laid down in the Word of God." {11MR 208.3}
"Christ
has plainly taught that those who persist in open sin must be separated from
the church, but He has not committed to us the work of judging character and
motive. He knows our nature too well to
entrust this work to us. Should we try
to uproot from the church those whom we suppose to be spurious Christians, we
should be sure to make mistakes. Often
we regard as hopeless subjects the very one whom Christ is drawing to Himself,
it would perhaps extinguish their last hope.
Many who think themselves Christians will at last be found wanting. Many will be in heaven who their neighbors
supposed would never enter there. Man
judges from appearance, but God judges the heart. The tares and the wheat are to grow together
until the harvest; and the harvest is the end of probationary time." COL
71.
“In our largest churches the greatest evils exist,
because these have had the greatest light. They have not a true knowledge
of God, and of Jesus Christ whom he has sent. The leaven of unbelief is
working, and unless these evils which bring the displeasure of God are
corrected in its members, the whole
church stands accountable for them. The deep movings of the Spirit of
God are not with them; the glorious presence of the King of saints, and his
power to cleanse from all moral defilement, are not manifest among them. Many
come to the assembly as worshipers, like the door upon its hinges. They
understand not the true application of the Scriptures, nor the power of God.
They have eyes, but they see not; ears have they, but they hear not; they
continue in their evil ways, yet regard themselves as the privileged, obedient
people who are doers of the word. A carnal security and ease in Zion prevail.
Peace, peace, is sounded in her borders, when God has not spoken peace. They
have forfeited the terms of peace; there is reason for an alarm to be sounded
in all "my holy mountain." The sinners in Zion should be afraid, in a
time when they do not expect it, sudden destruction will surely come upon all who
are at ease.” {RH, December 23, 1890 par. 10}
Remember Ezekiel 22:17-31,
wherein the Jews were gathered into the midsts of Jerusalem for burning and
melting? Why? Because the apostate church was the field, and tares, dross, are
burned in the field, not the garner or barn (church in heaven, Heb. 12:22, 23).
The Bible says that it is the 144,000 who are
BLAMELESS, not defiled with women (apostate churches) Rev. 14:1-4. Finley said
the church is the BRIDE. That is not true. In Isaiah 62:1-5, Zion is the bride.
Zion (Sion) Heb. 12:22, 23 is the church triumphant in heaven which has earthly
representatives, GC, 426, who are the bride. The other people of the church are
guests. GC 426-427.
The Future of the Church
Whether we decide to support
God’s church or fight against it, the church’s survival is guaranteed
because of God’s grace, Finley emphasized. Sharing important lessons
from Ephesians 5, he reminded that despite its mistakes and weaknesses, Jesus
loves His church, and He promises to sanctify and
cleanse it. “And the future of God’s church is glorious,”
reminded Finley, “because He has promised to present His church blameless.”
“Indeed,
part of being a leader is never be content [to be] where you are, because Jesus
is always leading us to more, Finley said. “But if someone would write a book with
all the faults of your wife, would you read it and not be ready to defend her?”
he asked, in reference to occasional publications critical of the church. “The church is Christ’s bride,” he reminded his listeners.
Finley also reminded that the church is not a bureaucratic institution but is made
up of people. And every one of us, he said, is a work in progress, as God chisels
us until we become what He wants us to be. “The church does not come with
stones fully polished,” he emphasized. “God is at work to build a temple of
truth in which men and women reveal the character of God.”
Finley said: “But if someone would write a book with all the
faults of your wife, would you read it and not be ready to defend her?”
Ron comments: Faults of wife are not the issue.
Gross apostasy is the problem. The leaders are branding as “faults” what God
considers to be abominations. Also, the church militant (wheat and tare co-ed
church) is NOT the bride (wife) of Christ. It is Zion, the church triumphant
that is the bride, Isa. 62:1-5 and Heb. 12:22, 23. The “dumb-dog” leaders don’t
even know the Bible players after having gone all through Seminary! They don’t
know that Zion is the church in heaven with earthly representatives. This is
why God says they are dumb-dogs that CANNOT UNDERSTAND.
Finley says that the church will be cleansed. Ellen
White said it will be brought down to hell by Ezekiel 9 beginning there. If the
church was cleansed, why does Ezekiel 9 BEGIN there? And why did Ellen White
say it would be brought down to hell?
The same Bible author (Ezekiel) who said that the
slaughter would begin at His Sanctuary (apostate spiritual Jerusalem at the
end-time, and literal Jerusalem anciently), also said that the church WILL NOT BE
CLEANSED IN THE DAY OF INDIGNATION, to wit:
Eze 22:24
Son of man, say unto her, Thou art the land that is not cleansed, nor
rained upon in the day of indignation.
No cleansing! No rain (Holy Spirit) upon the
apostate church in the day of indignation which is at the end-time, Rev. 14:10,
12.
Finley says that the church is NOT a bureaucratic
institution. That is EXACTLY what it is, because a small group of men mutinied
the ship and removed God, so that only a bunch of hoodlum, “dumb-dog” men are
in charge, And they are so BUREAUCRATIC that Ellen White said: “NOTHING WILL BE ALLOWED TO STAND IN THE
WAY OF THE NEW MOVEMENT.”
Ellen White’s
View of the Future of the Church
Mark Finley is boasting about the glorious future
of the church. What does Ellen White say about it?
“Of those who boast of their light and yet fail to
walk in it Christ says, "But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable
for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment than for you. And thou,
Capernaum [Seventh-day Adventists, who have had great light], which art exalted
unto heaven [in point of privilege], shalt be brought down to hell:
for if the mighty works which have been done in thee had been done in Sodom, it
would have remained until this day." Ellen G. White, Review and Herald

PROLEPSIS
PROPHETIC STATEMENT:
Here is the Spirit of Prophecy prophesied prolepsis
statement regarding the final fate of that once Noble Ship. This is a major
LYNCHPIN to my warning message. Can you explain it away? Are you a passenger on
this once NOBLE SHIP, that is about to sink to rise no more? NOTICE WHO SEPARATES FROM WHOM:
"Jesus sends HIS PEOPLE a message of warning
to prepare them for his coming. To the prophet John was made known the closing
work in the great plan of man's prolepsis redemption. He beheld an angel flying 'in the midst of heaven, having the
everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to
every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, saying with a loud voice,
Fear God, and give glory to him for the hour of his Judgment is come and
worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of
waters [Rev. 14:6, 7.].
The angel represented in
prophecy as
delivering this message, symbolizes a class of
faithful men, who, obedient to the promptings of God's Spirit and the teachings
of his word, proclaim this warning to the inhabitants of earth. This message was not to be committed to
the religious leaders of the people. They had failed to preserve their
connection with God, and had REFUSED THE LIGHT FROM HEAVEN therefore they WERE
NOT of the number described by the apostle Paul: 'But ye, brethren, are not in
darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children
of light, and the children of the day we are not of the night nor of darkness'
[1 Thess. 5:4, 5].
The watchmen upon the walls of Zion should be the first to catch
the tidings of the Saviour's advent, the first to lift their voices to proclaim
him near, the first to warn the people to prepare for his coming. But they were
at ease, dreaming of peace and safety, while the people were asleep in their
sins. Jesus saw HIS CHURCH, like the barren fig-tree, covered with
pretentious leaves, yet destitute of precious fruit. There was a boastful observance
of the forms of religion, while the spirit of true humility, penitence and
faith--which alone could render the service acceptable to God--was lacking.
Instead of the graces of the Spirit, there were manifested pride, formalism,
vainglory, selfishness, oppression. A
BACKSLIDING CHURCH closed their eyes to the signs of the times. God did
nor forsake them, or suffer his faithfulness to fail but they departed from him, and SEPARATED THEMSELVES from his love. As they REFUSED TO COMPLY WITH THE CONDITIONS, his promises were
NOT FULFILLED to them." E.G. White, The Spirit of Prophecy, Vol.

1884 edition of The Great Controversy, 199, 200].
Note these important delineations in
the above statement:

Revelation 14.

BY THE LEADERS OF THE SDA CHURCH, but by a class of faithful men, because

light from heaven!

Ellen White is addressing a BACKSLIDING CHURCH
whose leaders and laity alike failed and rejected light from heaven and
who refused to comply with the conditions so that God's promises are not
fulfilled to them. Consider the following commentary on the 1884 Great
Controversy that the above statement is quoted from:
“Consider for a few moments the chapter in the
first edition of Great Controversy, Volume IV, published by Pacific
Press in 1884. In Chapter XXVII, ‘The Snares of Satan,’ you find that about
four pages in the latter part of the chapter were omitted from the later
editions of Great Controversy. These four pages are to be found in
Testimonies to Ministers, pages 472 to 475. The information contained in these
four pages is very valuable to Seventh-day Adventists and was very
appropriately included in the first edition of Great Controversy, Volume IV,
which when it was published was like the other volumes considered to be A
MESSAGE ESPECIALLY TO SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTISTS, and to [all] Christian people
sympathizing with them in beliefs and aims.” W. C. White, Selected Messages,
Appendix C, pp. 452, 453.
In the
LITERl fulfillment of Ezekiel 9 example of apostate Israel, (A. D. 27-70) all
the good left the apostate Jewish church, the Synagogue of Satan. Ezekiel
22:17-31. In the next LITERAL fulfillment of Ezekiel 9, the good leave the bad
and the apostate church is destroyed:

37:31 And the remnant that is escaped
of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit
upward:

37:32 For out of Jerusalem shall go
forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD
of hosts shall do this.
Ezekiel
22:17-31 is a portrayal of the final outcome of the apostate SDA church.
"Study the 9th chapter of Ezekiel. These words
will be literally fulfilled yet the time is passing, and the people are asleep.
They refuse to humble their souls and to be converted. Not a great while longer
will the Lord bear with the people who have such great and important truths
revealed to them, but who refuse to bring these truths into their individual
experience. The time is short. God is calling will YOU hear? Will YOU receive His
message? Will YOU be converted before it is too late? Soon, very soon, every
case will be decided for eternity. Letter 106, 1909, pp. 2, 3, 5, 7. (To
"The churches in Oakland and Berkeley, September 26, 1909.)" E. G.

Ezekiel 22:17-31, is just an elaboration on Ezekiel
9.
Beware, God has seen fit to preserve this evidence
that it might come to the fore in order to give you fair warning, just as true
prophets warned all true Christians of the impending destruction of Jerusalem
in the first literal fulfillment of Ezekiel 9 in A.D. 66-70. Will you heed His
end-time warning of the same literal event? No “dumb-dog” SDA new movement
leader (Isaiah 56:10-12) will ever give you this most startling and serious
warning.
It is Time to
Become Obscure to Nominal Adventists Who Will Report You to the Catholics
It takes time to become obscure to your former
associates at the apostate church who would betray you to the Catholics. I have
read that The Lord’s Day Alliance keeps an updated roster of the name
and address of every Seventh-day Adventist. They hate Adventists, and are one
of the most powerful forces in pushing for a Sunday Law.
"I saw the nominal church and nominal
Adventists, like Judas, would betray us to the Catholics to obtain their
influence to come against the truth. The saints then will be an obscure
[hidden] people, little known to the Catholics but the churches and nominal
Adventists who know of our faith and customs (for they hate us on account of
the Sabbath, for they could not refute it) will betray the saints and report
them to the Catholics as those who disregard the institutions of the people
that is, that they keep the Sabbath and disregard Sunday.
Then the Catholics bid the Protestants to go forward,
and issue a decree that all who will not observe the first day of the week,
instead of the seventh day, shall be slain. And the Catholics, whose numbers
are large, will stand by the Protestants. The Catholics will give their power
to the image of the beast. And the Protestants will work as their mother worked
before them to destroy the saints. But before their decree bring or bear fruit,
the saints will be delivered by the Voice of God. Then I saw that Jesus' work
in the sanctuary will soon be finished. And after His work there is finished,
He will come to the door of the first apartment, and confess the sins of Israel
upon the head of the Scape Goat. Then He will put on the garments of vengeance.
Then the plagues will come upon the wicked, and they do not come till Jesus
puts on that garment, and takes Hs place upon the great white cloud. Then while
the plagues are falling, the Scape Goat is being led away. He makes a mighty
struggle to escape, but he is held fast by the hand that leads him. If he should
effect his escape, Israel would lose their lives. I saw that it would take time
to lead away the Scape Goat into the land of forgetfulness after the sins were
put on his head.
The great white cloud I saw was not the holy place,
but entirely separate from the holy and most holy place, entirely separate from
the sanctuary.
Then the angel repeated these words, and said,
'This is the time spoken of in Isaiah. He saw that there was not man, and
wondered that there was no intercessor. He had no mediator between God and man,
and these plagues could be withheld no longer, for Jesus had ceased to plead
for Israel, and they were covered with the covering of the Almighty God, and
they could live in the sight of a holy God, and those who were not covered, the
plagues fell upon them, for they had nothing to shelter or protect them from
the wrath of God." E.G. White, Dorchester, Maine, October 23, 1850, Spalding--Magan's
Unpublished Mss. Testimonies, pp. 1, 2.
Note by Ron: Clearly, the nominal Adventists will
not be keeping the Sabbath, because they hate the saints on account of the
Sabbath. Notice that Ellen White says there will be “nominal Adventists,” AT
THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE TIME OF TROUBLE:
“I saw that God had children who do not see and
keep the Sabbath. They have not rejected the light upon it. And at the
commencement of the time of trouble, we were filled with the Holy Ghost as we
went forth and proclaimed the Sabbath more fully. This enraged the churches and
nominal Adventist, as they could not refute the Sabbath truth.” Early
Writings, p. 33.
These idols of professing SDA’s will never give
their patrons this warning, and this listing IS NOT exhaustive. These men are
“dumb-dogs” who are shepherding the sheeple into apostate spiritual Jerusalem,
for the next literal 9 fulfillment of Ezekiel 9, and they are CLUELESS that
this is what they are doing.
