Short and to the point:

 

An individual I know who recently (Jan. 1, 2010) vacillated for the eighth time from the position of a reformer to defence of the apostate SDA church, used statements by Roger Morneau and George Knight’s book The Apocalyptic Vision and the Neutering of Adventism as part of his defence for the new movement apostate church.

 

I would like to ask you reader, how do/did Roger Morneau and George Knight measure with the following CONDITIONS for being sealed by the man in linen, Ezekiel 9:

 

“Mark this point with care: Those who receive the pure mark of truth, wrought in them by the power of the Holy Ghost, represented by a mark by the man in linen, are those "that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the church.” {Mar 240.1}

 

Is sighing and crying done in the closet?

 

"The fifty-eighth chapter of Isaiah contains instruction for TODAY. 'Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and show MY PEOPLE their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sin...." The work would not have been hindered as it has been for the past several years if Dr. Kellogg were a converted man. "Come," I call, "come ye out and be separate from him and his associates whom he has leavened." I am now giving the message God has given me, to give to all who claim to believe the truth: "Come out from among them, and be ye separate,' else their sin in justifying wrongs and framing deceits will continue to be the ruin of souls." “So far as his opportunities extend, every one who has received the light of truth is under the same solemn and fearful responsibility as was the prophet of Israel, to whom the word of the Lord came, saying: "Son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.  When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.  Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity, but thou has delivered thy soul.”  Eze 33:7-9.  The Great Controversy,  p. 459.

Roger Morneau and George Knight speak of a revitalization of the church and how the tares will be blown away when the Sunday Law crisis comes, to leave the church militant purged and purified. Is that true? Will anything be allowed to stand in the way of the omega of apostasy new movement?

 

Who is the enemy of souls who has sought to bring in the supposition that a great reformation was to take place among Seventh-day Adventists? Was that enemy Ellen G. White, or Satan? Was it True Reformers or SDA leaders who have been ring-leaders in the apostasy?
 
"The enemy of souls has sought to bring in the supposition that a great reformation was to take place among Seventh-day Adventists, and that this reformation would consist in giving up the doctrines which stand as the pillars of our faith, and engaging in a process of reorganization. Were this reformation to take place, what would result? The principles of truth that God in His wisdom has given to the remnant church, would be discarded. Our religion would be changed. The fundamental principles that have sustained the work for the last fifty years would be accounted as error. A NEW ORGANIZATION would be established. Books of a NEW ORDER would be written. A system of intellectual philosophy would be introduced. The founders of this system would go into the cities, and do a wonderful work. The Sabbath of course, would be lightly regarded, as also the God who created it. Nothing would be allowed to stand in the way of the NEW MOVEMENT. The leaders would teach that virtue is better than vice, but GOD BEING REMOVED, they would place their dependence on human power, which, without God, is worthless. Their foundation would be built on the sand, and storm and tempest would sweep away the structure.

Who has authority to begin such a [NEW] movement? We have our Bibles, we have our experience, attested to by the miraculous working of the Holy Spirit. We have a truth that admits of no compromise. Shall we not repudiate everything that is not in harmony with this truth? E.G. White, Selected Messages, Vol. 1, 204, 205.

 

·       Who brought the Celebration Movement into the SDA church?

·       Who adopted Rome’s Trinity Doctrine into the SDA church?

·       Who adopted the world’s standards for educational accreditation into the SDA church, thus marrying the youth to the world?

"The things you have described as taking place in Indiana, the Lord has shown me would take place just before the close of probation. Every uncouth thing will be demonstrated. There will be shouting, with drums, music, and dancing. The senses of rational beings will become so confused that they cannot be trusted to make right decisions. And this is called the moving of the Holy Spirit.
 
The Holy Spirit never reveals itself in such methods, in such a bedlam of noise. This is an invention of Satan to cover up his ingenious methods for making of none effect the pure, sincere, elevating, ennobling, sanctifying truth for this time. Better never have the worship of God blended with music than to use musical instruments to do the work which last January was represented to me would be brought into our camp meetings. The truth for this time needs nothing of this kind in its work of converting souls. A bedlam of noise shocks the senses and pervert that which if conducted aright might be a blessing. The powers of satanic agencies blend with the din and noise, to have a carnival, and this is termed the Holy Spirits working." Selected Messages, Vol. 2, p. 36.

 

Were the only nominal Adventists who ever existed those who would not receive the Sabbath? Are new movement Adventists who have removed God and will allow nothing to stand in their way—nominal Adventists?or Adventists in name only? They are going to betray us to the Catholics:

 

“I saw that God had children who do not see and keep the Sabbath. They have not rejected the light upon it. And at the commencement of the time of trouble, we were filled with the Holy Ghost as we went forth and proclaimed the Sabbath more fully. This enraged the churches and nominal Adventists, as they could not refute the Sabbath truth.” Early Writings, p. 33.

 

In the appendix of the above book, p. 299, it defines nominal as those who do not accept present truth. Is a new movement that removes God, accepting present truth?
 
 "I saw the nominal church and nominal Adventists, like Judas, would betray us to the Catholics to obtain their influence to come against the truth. The saints then will be an obscure [hidden] people, little known to the Catholics but the churches and nominal Adventists who know of our faith and customs (for they hate us on account of the Sabbath, for they could not refute it) will betray the saints and report them to the Catholics as those who disregard the institutions of the people that is, that they keep the Sabbath and disregard Sunday.

  
Then the Catholics bid the Protestants to go forward, and issue a decree that all who will not observe the first day of the week, instead of the seventh day, shall be slain. And the Catholics, whose numbers are large, will stand by the Protestants. The Catholics will give their power to the image of the beast. And the Protestants will work as their mother worked before them to destroy the saints. But before their decree bring or bear fruit, the saints will be delivered by the Voice of God. Then I saw that Jesus' work in the sanctuary will soon be finished. And after His work there is finished, He will come to the door of the first apartment, and confess the sins of Israel upon the head of the Scape Goat. Then He will put on the garments of vengeance. Then the plagues will come upon the wicked, and they do not come till Jesus puts on that garment, and takes Hs place upon the great white cloud. Then while the plagues are falling, the Scape Goat is being led away. He makes a mighty struggle to escape, but he is held fast by the hand that leads him. If he should effect his escape, Israel would lose their lives. I saw that it would take time to lead away the Scape Goat into the land of forgetfulness after the sins were put on his head.
The great white cloud I saw was not the holy place, but entirely separate from the holy and most holy place, entirely separate from the sanctuary. 
Then the angel repeated these words, and said, 'This is the time spoken of in Isaiah. He saw that there was not man, and wondered that there was no intercessor. He had no mediator between God and man, and these plagues could be withheld no longer, for Jesus had ceased to plead for Israel, and they were covered with the covering of the Almighty God, and they could live in the sight of a holy God, and those who were not covered, the plagues fell upon them, for they had nothing to shelter or protect them from the wrath of God." E.G. White, Dorchester, Maine, October 23, 1850, Spalding--Megan's Unpublished Mss. Testimonies, pp. 1, 2.

 

Clearly, the nominal Adventists will not be keeping the Sabbath, because they hate the saints on account of the Sabbath. Notice that Ellen White says there will be “nominal Adventists,” AT THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE TIME OF TROUBLE:

 

"The leaven of godliness has not entirely lost its power. At the time when the danger and depression of the church are greatest, the little company who are standing in the light will be sighing and crying for the abominations that are done in the land. But MORE ESPECIALLY will their prayers arise in behalf of the church because ITS MEMBERS are doing after the manner of the world." Testimonies, vol. 5, 209, 210.

 

Is doing after the manner of the world nominal Adventism? The above chapter in 5T, begins on page 207 quoting Ezekiel 9, which begins at God’s Sanctuary. That is the subject of the chapter, not other churches who have always done after the manner of the world.

 

"The Lord has a controversy with His professed people in these last days. In this controversy men in responsible positions will take a course directly opposite to that pursued by Nehemiah.  They will not only ignore and despise the Sabbath themselves, but they will try to keep it from others by burying it beneath the rubbish of custom and tradition.  In churches and in large gatherings in the open air [campmeetings], ministers will urge upon the people the necessity of keeping the first day of the week.  There are calamities on sea and land: and these calamities will increase, one disaster following close upon another; and the little band of conscientious Sabbath-keepers will be pointed out as the ones who are bringing the wrath of God upon the world by their disregard of Sunday."  R & H 3-18-1884.

Ellen White is speaking of SDA leaders who “will take” (future) a course directly opposite to that pursued by Nehemiah. The other churches have taken that errant position on the first day of the week  for centuries.

 

Ezekiel 8 gives some of the reasons for the Ezekiel 9 slaughter. One of them was that “about twenty-five” leaders of Israel had their backs to the Temple worshipping the sun. Any future literal fulfillment of Ezekiel 9 would demand a similar act on the part of SDA apostate leaders. It is no matter of coincidence that there is a committee of  about twenty-five or twenty-six SDA leaders in Washington: https://omega77.tripod.com/twentyfivemen.htm This is uncanny! Or is it?!

 

The Channel of Communication to the people: "The disciples were the channel of communication between Christ and the people. This should be a real encouragement to His disciples today. Christ is the great center, the source of all strength. His disciples are to receive their supplies from Him. The most intelligent, the most spiritually minded, can bestow only as they receive. Of themselves they can supply nothing for the needs of the soul. We can impart only that which we receive from Christ and we can receive only as we impart to others. As we continue imparting, we continue to receive and the more we impart, the more we shall receive. Thus we may be constantly believing, trusting, receiving, and imparting." The Desire of Ages, 370.  

"Unity is the sure result of Christian perfection"(Sanctified Life, p. 85).

 

How will anyone ever achieve unity via Christian perfection and a revival and/or reformation in the apostate church when God has been removed by leaders who will never again show the House of Jacob its sins?

 

 Begin at My Sanctuary -- "Here we see that the church--the Lord's sanctuary--was the first to feel the stroke of the wrath of God. The ancient men, those to whom God had given great light and who had stood as guardians of the spiritual interests of the people, had betrayed their trust. They had taken the position that we need not look for miracles and the marked manifestation of God's power as in former days. Times have changed. These words strengthen their unbelief, and they say: The Lord will not do good, neither will He do evil. He is too merciful to visit His people in judgment. Thus 'Peace and safety" is the cry from men who will never again lift up their voice like a trumpet to show God's people their transgressions and the house of Jacob their sins. These dumb dogs that would not bark are the ones who feel the just vengeance of an offended God. Men, maidens, and little children all perish together." E. G. White, Testimonies, Vol. 5, 211.

 

How long will the apostasy exist in the church? The leaders will never again show God’s people their transgressions, and Ezekiel 9 is LITERALLY fulfilled beginning at His Sanctuaries, the House of Jacob, so why would that happen if the bad were shaken from the church to leave it purged and purified?

 

George Knight was a high leader (now retired). Was God right about him; that he will never again show the House of Jacob its sins? All of them? The most heinous of them? Was God right about all of the watchmen in the church in the following treatise:

 

10 His watchmen are blind,
      They are all ignorant;
      They are all dumb dogs,
      They cannot bark;
      Sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.
       11 Yes, they are greedy dogs
      Which never have enough.
      And they are shepherds
      Who cannot understand;
      They all look to their own way,
      Every one for his own gain,
      From his own territory.
       12 “ Come,” one says, “I will bring wine,
      And we will fill ourselves with intoxicating drink;
      Tomorrow will be as today,
      And much more abundant.” Isaiah 56:10-12

 

Unity in the Church

 

"To secure peace and unity they were ready to make any concession consistent with fidelity to God but they felt that even peace would be too dearly purchased at the sacrifice of principle. If unity could be secured only by the compromise of truth and righteousness, then let there be difference, and even war." (Great Controversy, p. 45).
 
"Christ calls for unity.  But He does not call for us to unify on wrong practices.  The God of heaven draws a sharp contrast between pure, elevating, ennobling truth and false, misleading doctrines." 1SM 175.

 

"The plain straight testimony must live in the church, or the curse of God will rest upon His people as surely as it did upon ancient Israel because of their sins. God holds His people, as a body [corporately], responsible for the sins existing in individuals among them." Testimonies, Vol. 3, p. 269.

 

"Any connection with infidels and UNBELIEVERS which would identify us with them is FORBIDDEN by the word. We are to come out from them and be separate. in no case are we to link ourselves with them in their plans or work." E. G. White,  Fundamentals of Christian Education,  482.

 

How long with the apostasy continue?

 

Wax stronger "One thing it is certain is soon to be realized, the great apostasy, which is developing and increasing and waxing stronger, and will continue to do so until the Lord shall descend from heaven with a shout. We are to hold fast the first principles of our denominated faith, and go forward from strength to increased faith. Ever we are to keep the faith that has been substantiated by the Holy Spirit of God from the earlier events of our experience until the present time. We need now larger breadth, and deeper, more earnest, unwavering faith in the leadings of the Holy Spirit. If we needed the manifest proof of the Holy Spirit's power to confirm truth in the beginning, after the passing of the time, we need to-day all the evidence in the confirmation of the truth, when souls are departing from the faith and giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. There must not be any languishing of soul now." (E.G. White, Special Testimonies, Series B, No. 7, p. 57).

 

Will there be a revival of the sincere in all fallen churches leading them to come out:

 

Ellen White clearly states in The Great Controversy, p. 25, 1911, edition, that the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. was a PREFIGURE. Prefigure means TYPE, which demands a similar ANTITYPICAL FULFILLMENT. She said that TYPE was TWOFOLD: 1. It symbolized the destruction of the world. 2. It symbolized the destruction of Jerusalem, and the apostate Jewish Sanctuary.

 

Then she says that another LITERAL FULFILLMENT of Ezekiel 9 will occur. Any future literal fulfillment of Ezekiel 9, must be like the first literal fulfillment in A.D. 27-70.  So all we have to do is go back to the TYPE, THE PREFIGURE and see what happened then, and any other interpretation makes Ellen White a false prophet:

 

1) Who left who then? The good left the Bad.

2) Where were the tares gathered? Into the Midst of Jerusalem, the apostate church, Ezekiel 22:17-31.

3) Was there a primitive revival of the Jewish people? Yes! Where did it take place? Within the apostate Jewish Church, or outside it? Obviously outside it, Desire of Ages, 232, or it would not have been destroyed had the revival occurred inside the Jewish church!

4) Who was True Zion, from whence the sinners was shaken? Was it the apostate Jewish Organization, or was it from the reformer church of Jesus and the disciples?

5) Where was the true porch and altar where true Christians wept?

6) Where were true Christian’s sealed? In apostate Jerusalem, or true Jerusalem, true Zion? Which also had its headquarters in Jerusalem.

7) Did the Jewish people leave the apostate Jewish church long before persecution began? Yes, they began to leave when Jesus "gathered out" those who would take the gospel to the world—A.D. 27. Desire of Ages, 232, and even before this according to the following statement by Ellen White:

 

"The recreant priests added licentiousness to the dark catalogue of their crimes yet they still polluted by their presence the tabernacle of the Lord, and, laden with sin, dared to come into the presence of a holy God. As the men of Israel witnessed the corrupt course of the priests, they thought it safer for their families not to come up to the appointed place of worship. Many went from Shiloh with their peace disturbed, their indignation aroused, until they at last determined to offer their sacrifices themselves, concluding that this would be fully as acceptable to God, as to sanction in any manner the abominations practiced in the Sanctuary." E.G. White, The Signs of the Times, Vol. 1, p. 264, col. 3, December 1, 1881.

 

Any teaching that contradicts this Ezekiel 9 PREFIGURE SCENARIO, is contradicting Ellen White and SCRIPTURE, because Ezekiel 5:9 proves that Ezekiel 9 is really PRIMARILY FULFILLED at the end-time when God does the worst thing He has ever done or will ever do again cf. Matthew 24:21.

 

The person I referred to in the first paragraph also said that Dennis Keen proved me wrong. All Dennis Keen did to prove me wrong was to state his preteristic error that Matthew 24, depicting that abomination of desolation and the need to flee when we see it standing in the Holy Place, was fulfilled in the Dark Ages, and will not be fulfilled in the future. That is the biggest peace and safety lie that even any preterist Jesuit could teach [not that Dennis is a Jesuit]. I showed Dennis this statement to which he had no response:

 

Ellen White on Matthew 24: "When He referred to the destruction of Jerusalem, His prophetic words reached beyond that even to the final conflagration in that day when the Lord shall rise out of His place to punish for their iniquity, when the earth shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.  This entire discourse was given, not for the disciples only, but for those who should live in the last scenes of this earth's history."  E.G. White, Desire of Ages, p. 628. Note: At the bottom of the first page of the chapter, p. 627, it says: “This chapter is based on Matt. 24…”

 

The true Christians were sealed in the many home churches established in Judea. No Christian was sealed at the apostate Jewish Temple.

When the young men and women were kept away from the Alpha of apostasy in the church, what did they do where did they meet for worship?

 

Ellen White on Home Churches in the Alpha of Apostasy:

 

"There is a little hope in one direction: Take the young men and women, and place them where they will come as little in contact with our churches as possible, that the low grade of piety which is current in this day shall not leaven their ideas of what it means to be a Christian." E.G. White, Manuscript Release #995, p. 5.  

 

"Brother and sister Haskell have rented a house in one of the best parts of the city, and have gathered round them a family of helpers, who day by day go out giving Bible readings, selling our papers, and doing medical missionary work. During the hour of worship, the workers relate their experiences. Bible studies are regularly conducted in the home, and THE YOUNG MEN AND YOUNG WOMEN connected with the mission receive a practical, thorough training in holding Bible readings and in selling our publications. The Lord has blessed their labors, a number have embraced the truth, and many others are deeply interested." Review and Herald, September 7, 1905, Evangelism, p. 108.

 "Christ was a protestant...The Reformers date back to Christ and the apostles. They came out and separated themselves from a religion of forms and ceremonies. Luther and his followers did not invent the reformed religion. They simply accepted it as presented by Christ and the apostles." E.G. White, Review and Herald, vol. 2, 48, col. 2.  

 

Paul left

 

"And as they persisted in their rejection of the gospel the apostle (Paul) went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God. But when divers were hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus." Acts, 19:8, 9.

 

"Fearing that the faith of the believers would be endangered by continued association with these opposers of the truth, Paul separated from them, and gathered the disciples into a distinct body." E.G. White, Acts of the Apostles, p. 286.

 

What would God and Ellen White advise in the Omega of Apostasy, the Omega Heresy?
