My Vision on The True Remnant Versus Imposters

To That Claim

Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

On Thursday, September 13, 2018, I was given the following vision on the characteristics of the true Remnant versus any who claim to be the true remnant church of God at the end-time. Rather than name and accuse any church denomination, I will give hypothetical situations that are not becoming of a true remnant church and let the reader decide.

I was shown that whether or not a church claims to be the faithful remnant, all denominations believe that they are God’s remnant people, or they would not be members of their particular denomination. So most of (not all) of the hypothetical determinations that I cite could apply to most all denominations.

The Bible’s definition of the remnant of God is that they keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus, which is defined as the Spirit of Prophecy. The ancient Jews had many prophets, but they rejected the admonitions of all those prophets and killed them and/or severely persecuted them. The same spirit exists today regarding modern-day prophets.

A person has written to me lately saying that “keep” the commandments cannot possibly mean obeying them, for no man can obey the law. It is not a true statement that no man can obey the law. The truth of the matter is that any man who is born again of the Spirit of Christ, can obey the law. By partaking of the Divine Nature, we can overcome the lust of the world, and grace (Holy Spirit Power) is given for obedience.

Rev 12:17 And G2532 the dragon G1404 was wroth G3710 with G1909 the woman, G1135 and G2532 went G565 to make G4160 war G4171 with G3326 the remnant G3062 of her G846 seed, G4690 which G3588 keep G5083 the commandments G1785 of God, G2316 and G2532 have G2192 the testimony G3141 of Jesus G2424 Christ. G5547

Rev 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

Deu 11:27 A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day:

Deu 11:28 And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.

Deu 13:4 Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.

Deu 27:10 Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of the LORD thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day.

Deu 30:8 And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the LORD, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day.

2Pe 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Rom 1:5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:

1Pe 1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

Brother Ron,

Nice try!

"Keep" cannot possibly mean obey in any way whatsoever.

If "Keep" meant obey then Jesus is a liar. For no man can obey the law.

Why would He say obey my commandments when it is not possible for man to do it?

He said, If you love Me "keep" my commandments as in "Don't through[throw] them away"

Satan must have spent an awful lot of time covering this up.

The more we dig into this the bigger it gets.

God bless

The words “nice try!” refer to my reply that Strong’s meaning for the word “keep” in Revelation 17:12, is to observe.

1.     to attend to carefully, take care of

1.     to guard

2.     metaph. to keep, one in the state in which he is

3.   to observe

To observe, according to the dictionary, means: to obey, comply with, or conform to: to observe laws.

Thus, I regard my response as more than a mere “Nice try!” Those words mean a failed effort, and that is not true.

My next response was to the persons words: If "Keep" meant obey then Jesus is a liar. For no man can obey the law.

I asked if God is a liar because He says to OBEY His commandments in the following Bible verses. If keeping His commandments meant merely not throwing them away, why would He have instructed us to OBEY them. Also, if your church has a prophet, look up what he/she has to say on the words OBEY COMMANDMENTS. This particular person claims to believe the prophetess of his church. OR DOES HE, because he knows what she says about this.

Does KEEP mean obey?

Deu 11:27 A blessing, H1293 if ye obey H8085 the commandments H4687 of the LORD H3068 your God, H430 which I command H6680 you this day: H3117

Deu 13:4 Ye shall walk H3212 after H310 the LORD H3068 your God, H430 and fear H3372 him, and keep H8104 his commandments, H4687 and obey H8085 his voice, H6963 and ye shall serve H5647 him, and cleave H1692 unto him.

Deu 27:10 Thou shalt therefore obey H8085 the voice H6963 of the LORD H3068 thy God, H430 and do H6213 his commandments H4687 and his statutes, H2706 which I command H6680 thee this day. H3117

Deu 30:8 And thou shalt return H7725 and obey H8085 the voice H6963 of the LORD, H3068 and do H6213 all his commandments H4687 which I command H6680 thee this day. H3117

What about the following words of my opponent?

“He said, If you love Me "keep" my commandments as in ‘Don't through [throw] them away’”

Ironically, by the full tenet of the persons theology, he is throwing away the commandments, when he says without qualification that NO MAN CAN OBEY THE LAW, and ALL KEEPING THE COMMANDMENTS MEANS IS “DON’T THROW THEM AWAY!”

What good does it do to retain them by not throwing them away if without qualification “NO MAN CAN OBEY THE LAW?” Yes indeed: “THE MORE WE DIG INTO THIS, THE BIGGER IT GETS;” THE MORE SERIOUS THE VIEWS OF THIS PERSON BECOME AS THEY INDICT THE CLEAR TESTIMONY OF GOD AND THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS AS BEING LIARS.

I was shown that God’s command to KEEP His commandments along with His commands to OBEY them, implies the following:

·       Retain and obey them. (Implied in the command to obey them.)

·       Observe them by your conduct.

·       The first four are our duty to God. The remainder are our duty to man.

I now come to the part of my vision about church(es) that claim to retain and obey the commandments, but don’t really obey them. What if a church claims to be the remnant church of God, but disobeys His commandments. All God’s commands in His words are a broader application of His commandments in principle. For example, in Isaiah 8:9-12, when God tells His church not to ASSOCIATE with His enemies, and the church violates that command, such a church is breaking the commandments of God, and to break one is to break them all.

I was shown that when a church rejects any of the counsel of a prophet which it claims as verity it is the remnant church per Revelation 12:17, it is no more than an imposter claimant to that title. When a church claims that it has no abominations by way of apostasy which we are counselled to sigh and cry for in Ezekiel 9, that church is calling God a liar. No such church is a genuine claimant to being the remnant “chosen” of God.

The ten-commandment law embraces all possible sins. If one prays about it, he/she can fit any sin within one or more of the commandments, and that is what is meant by the principles of the law. For example, let’s take the case of the rich young ruler. He told Christ that He kept the commandments. But when Christ instructed him to go and sell all and give to the poor, his sin of covetousness was revealed. That is an example of the broad application of principle to the law.

Jas 2:10   For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

Another Sign of Imposter Remnants and “Chosen People”

Israel claimed to be the “chosen people of God.” They claimed to have the Spirit of Prophecy among them because of the prophets. Then they slew the prophets who condemned their evil practices. Today, there are prophets who are condemning the evil practices of the churches, and some of those churches take their opposers to law. This is the greatest sign that they don’t have the Spirit of God amongst them. This is tantamount to killing the prophets who would warn them. They try to silence all who sigh and cry for all the abominations they commit, just as the Pope recently called for SILENCE regarding the horrific exposure of all the sex crimes in that church. God’s Word says “Cry Aloud and spare not! Show my people their sins.” Isaiah 58:1.

The 144,000 Zion (Isaiah 62:1-5) is the True Remnant of God

Isaiah 62 and Revelation 14, further define the Remnant church. Isaiah 62 says that Zion is married, and that she has sons and daughters. The sons and daughters are members of Laodicean churches and all churches are either Laodicean (lukewarm) or cold apostate. This is proven by Isaiah 4:1-4, wherein seven women, seven designating all-inclusiveness, being God’s perfect number, e.g.: He created the world in six days and rested the Seventh-day, the seven women (all professing churches) are doing their own thing. They are wearing their own apparel, their own robes of self-righteousness, and they are eating their own bread; the commandments of men rather than the commandments of God.

Because all churches are doing their own thing, a faithful remnant is called out of all of them. Even if you regard your church as being “spiritual Jerusalem,” God says that the Ezekiel 9 slaughter will begin with your church, Ezekiel, Chapter 9.

I asked why God begins destruction at “spiritual Jerusalem” rather than Babylon. I was shown that it is because spiritual Jerusalem is worse than heathen, graven image worshippers! How so? Because spiritual Jerusalem has had advanced light via what the Bible enjoins as the gift of prophecy but has rejected that light. Spiritual Jerusalem has violated that light so drastically, that we are commanded to sigh and cry for all her abominations, and that the seal of God will be placed ONLY on those who sigh and cry for all her abominations committed in the midst thereof. Spiritual Jerusalem is destroyed FIRST, as a lesson to all as to what God thinks of a “chosen people” who have advanced light, but reject that light by disobedience.

Babylon is destroyed at a later time, but spiritual Jerusalem is destroyed first, and this is one important reason why it is errant to categorize spiritual Jerusalem as Babylon. Destruction LITERALLY BEGINS at spiritual Jerusalem, Ezekiel, Chapter 9.

The greatest IMPOSTER to the claim of being the remnant and chosen of God, is spiritual Jerusalem, because of the fact that the Ezekiel 9 slaughter BEGINS at her borders; slaughter of men, maidens and little children. It is for this reason that a final remnant goes forth out of modern-day spiritual Jerusalem, as well as Babylon (later) at the final Midnight Cry of Matthew 25.

The true remnant is even further defined in Isaiah 37:31, 32.

Isa 37:31   And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward:

Isa 37:32   For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.

If you think of your church as the remnant; NOT SO! The remnant is the church triumphant, the bride of Christ, the 144,000, who are without fault, Revelation 14:1-4.

The 144,000 remnant are proof that it is indeed possible to keep God’s law, and that His law is eternal, because it is only reckoned by His law that the 144,000 are without fault. This is proven by the following Bible evidence:

Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

It is also proven by the fact that all ten of the Ten Commandments are reiterated in the New Testament:
