The
Neo Mother of all Fanaticisms Being Postulated as New Light!
"In every
age Satan has sought
to impair the efforts of God’s servants by
introducing into the church a spirit of fanaticism. Thus it was in Paul’s day, and
thus it was in later centuries during the time of the Reformation. Wycliffe,
Luther, and many others who blessed the world by their influence and their
faith, encountered the
wiles by which the enemy seeks to lead into fanaticism overzealous,
unbalanced, and unsanctified minds" {AA 348.1}

The greatest, primitive revival and reformation of God’s people is to
occur at the end-time. Ellen White said that every reform movement has been
accompanied by a satanic fanaticism orchestrated by Satan to bring dispute,
disgust, distaste, and loathing disdain against the truth and those who teach
it.
The current revival, reformation and final shaking amongst God’s people is being plagued by the mother of all fanaticism. Not all of
the following examples are imbibed by every fanatic or group of fanatics, but
here is a sampling of the many foolish and satanic fanaticism
making the circuit as “new light” in the end-time revival and reformation:
· Ellen White’s counsel on Christmas is being touted as
the teaching of pagan tradition of pioneer Adventists. I am being accused of
teaching pagan traditions of Adventism because I advocate Ellen White’s counsel
regarding Christmas, thanksgiving, and birthdays.
· One of the Mother of all
fanatics teaches that Ellen White and the pioneers taught pagan tradition on
Christmas and thanksgiving until Ellen White’s death in 1915. He claims to have
new light that Ellen White was unaware of. Isn’t that amazing?! God kept the
gift of the Holy Spirit to the church from enlightening His people on a correct
response to Christmas and Thanksgiving for 168 years (from 1844-2012)!
· Ellen White’s counsel on Thanksgiving is being touted
as the same.
· Ellen White’s counsel on birthdays is being touted as
the same.
· One person claiming new light says that because the
word holy has been used in pagan rituals, it is pagan to use the word holy as
in Holy Spirit, Holy Bible etc. One should use the Hebrew word quodesh instead,
eg. The Quodesh Spirit, the Quodesh Bible.
· The Bible is paying homage to paganism in its errant
611 uses of the word holy, which should be substituted with quodesh
· The only logical conclusion to the above reasoning as
regards Christmas, thanksgiving, use of the word holy, etc., is that it would
be patronizing pagan tradition to observe the Seventh-day because the pagans
celebrated Saturn day on that day! Saturn day is associated with the mythological god
of harvest or thanksgiving:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saturn_%28mythology%29http://www.carnaval.com/saturnalia/
· The name Jesus should not be used. So the KJV Bible is
errant 983 times for employing the name Jesus rather than some of the other
names for the Son of God, such as Y’shua.
· Ellen White, the voice of the Holy Spirit to the
church, erred 42, 234 times by using the word Jesus in lieu of other terms to
designate the Son of God!
· The Lunar Calendar fallacy that we should observe the
Seventh-day Sabbath on different days of the week every month. Imagine the
confusion that would cause in the work world! How could the Beast enforce his mark relative to the Sabbath, if the
Sabbath fell on a different day of the week every month?! Are these folk scheming to deceive themselves and
others that the seventh-day Sabbath WILL NOT be the great test whereby the
faithful are tested at the end-time? Are they thinking they can avoid the Mark
of the Beast by keeping the Sabbath on a different day every month?
Preposterous! Satanic!
· The keeping of all the Feasts which pointed forward to Christ’s
Atonement, as though that Atonement never occurred! Thus they removed the
Sanctuary/Atonement and do despite to the entire Christian economy. It would be
well to observe the Feast of Tabernacles, the Day of Atonement (which we are in
since 1844), and the Day of Firstfruits or Pentecost, but that does not include
all the feasts which pointed forward to the Atoning act of Jesus Christ.
· Satan is attempting to
make Sabbath keeping more difficult and unpopular than it already is:

Ellen White on Christmas
The principles advocated by Ellen White regarding Christmas and
Thanksgiving could never be gainsayed by any rational person, and they are
ageless. Ellen White was opposed to keeping Christmas and Thanksgiving after
the model the world follows, and I agree with her.

Ellen
White on Thanksgiving

http://www.christcenteredmall.com/teachings/feasts/weeks.htm
In no way am I suggesting the
keeping of Feasts of Weeks and/or the ceremonial law which was nailed to the
cross, as I am misrepresented as teaching. In fact I have long opposed the
keeping of the feasts and give much evidence against such teachings in this
document. Fact is I have NEVER supported the keeping of the feasts which
pointed forward to Christ and were fulfilled by Him.
What I do attempt to show is that
anciently God’s people gave thanks to Him for their harvests and I see nothing
wrong with that and Ellen White supports that homage to God as well. I don’t support
keeping feasts that were fulfilled by Christ. I can’t say it any plainer or
more sincere than that, and I provide evidence for my position in this
document. The person(s) who are misrepresenting my position on this issue
is/are satanically possessed and does/do not mind misrepresenting the truth of
my position.
Those who say that Ellen White
and the SDA pioneers were paying homage to pagan tradition by observing
Thanksgiving after the order Ellen White specified, are actually accusing God
of teaching pagan traditions as the following
link demonstrates, for it was God who specified giving thanks for the
harvests. What sane Christian would oppose giving God thanks for causing the
seed to sprout and providing a bountiful harvest for His children? Ellen White
says there will be a similar future fulfillment of the Day of Pentecost.
“It is with an earnest
longing that I look forward to the time when the events of the Day of
Pentecost shall be repeated with even greater power than on that occasion. John says, "I saw
another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was
lightened with his glory" [Rev. 18:1]. Then, as at the
Pentecostal season, the people will hear the truth spoken to them, every man in
his own tongue.”--6BC 1055 (1886). {LDE 202.3}
The following is taken from the
above link:
“The Feast of Weeks, also known as Harvest (Exodus 23:16), Shavuot
(Hebrew), the Day of Firstfruits (Numbers 28:26), or Pentecost, was a festival of joy and thanksgiving celebrating the
completion of the harvest season. It was the second
major feast in which all able-bodied Jewish males were required to attend (the
other two being Passover and the Feast of Tabernacles). It was celebrated as a sabbath with rest from ordinary labors and the calling of a
holy convocation (Leviticus 23:21; Numbers 28:26).
Essentially a harvest celebration, the term weeks was used to describe
the time period from the grain harvest to the barley harvest and finally to the
wheat harvest. It is called the Feast of Weeks because
God specifically told the sons of Jacob that they were to count seven sevens of
weeks (seven complete weeks) from Firstfruits (Leviticus 23:15; Deuteronomy
16:9), and then on the "morrow" this fourth feast was to be observed
(Luke 23:16). Seven sevens of weeks are forty-nine days. Add one additional day
("on the morrow"), and it brings the total number of days to fifty.
This fourth feast was to occur precisely fifty days after Firstfruits (Christ's
resurrection). Therefore, the feast was given the name "Pentecost"
(Acts 2:1) which means "fifty."
On this occasion, the children of Israel were not to simply bring the
firstfruits of the wheat to the Temple (as they brought the firstfruit of the
barley at the Feast of Firstfruits), but rather two loaves of bread. These two
loaves were specifically commanded to be made with fine flour and baked with
leaven (Leviticus 23:17), and they were to be used as a "wave offering"
for the people.
These two loaves, however, could not be eaten until after the ceremony
was completed (Leviticus 23:14; Joshua 5:10-11) and could not be placed on the
altar due to its leaven content. In addition to the wave offering, two lambs,
one young bull, and two rams were to be offered as burnt offerings before the
Lord (Leviticus 23:15-22; Numbers 28:26-31). The feast was concluded by the
eating of communal meals to which the poor, the stranger, and the Levites were
invited.
What Does It All Mean?
The Feast of Weeks is a symbolic festival which pointed to the coming of
the Holy Spirit and the birthday of the Church. The Son of God arose from the grave on Firstfruits. He then spent forty
days with His disciples in post-resurrection ministry (Acts 1:3).
Immediately after forty days, Jesus informed them that it was necessary
that He leave them and ascend to His Father in Heaven (in order to apply the
benefits of His once and for all sacrifice). However, He told His disciples
that they would not be left abandoned and comfortless. He would then send them
His Holy Spirit who would come alongside to help in His absence (John
14:16-17).
Note by Ron:
And the benefits are grace for pardon and grace (Holy Spirit power) for
obedience, Rom. 1:5. End note.
The disciples were commanded to tarry at Jerusalem until He came (Acts
1:4), and they knew exactly how long they would have to wait. The coming of the
Holy Spirit would occur on the next Jewish holiday - a festive time when Jews
from different countries were to be in Jerusalem to celebrate the completion of
the harvest season. This annual feast was none other than Shavuot or the Feast
of Weeks. The disciples waited as they were commanded; however, their wait was
not long - only ten days. And then it happened. The Spirit of God descended on
those first-century believers.
The two loaves which were brought to the Temple represented both Jew and
Gentile; however they became one in Christ with the advent of the Spirit's
coming. Writing to the Ephesian believers, Paul said" "For he is our
peace, who hath made both (Jew and Gentile) one, and have broken down the
middle wall of partition between us ... to make in himself of two (Jew and
Gentile) one new man, so making peace" (Ephesians 2:14-15).
There was to be leaven in those two loaves, for the Church had not yet
been glorified. During this age, there is still sin within the Church. Messiah
Yeshua (the head) is unleavened. On the other hand, the Church (the body) still
has leaven within her. Therefore, leaven was to be included in those two
loaves.”
*******
Beware friends! Satan is hard at work to impair any and all the efforts
of God’s servants by the introduction of fanaticism in trying to reduce God’s
counsel to pagan tradition! This is being conducted by novice, neophyte,
overzealous, unbalanced, and unsanctified minds that are possessed by the
spirit of Satan.
Yes, Satan, through his agents, is touting the lie that Ellen White was
not working by the Voice of Providence as regards her counsels on holidays;
that she and anyone who advocates her teachings on these issues is teaching
Adventist pioneer pagan tradition! That is what I am being accused of, but of
course it all reverts back upon God and Ellen White. This is how unbalanced in
mind Satan’s agents are. Oh yes, you can know them by their fruits. And if they
speak not according to the law and the Testimonies, there is no light in them.
They are full of darkness.
Every revival and reformation has been plagued by these types. Every
attempt to correct error and set things in the framework of truth has been
accompanied by some who Satan has used and is especially now using to place
contempt not only on the truth, but those who espouse it. And this attributing
of the Spirit of Prophesy’s counsel to paganism is nothing more nor less than unpardonable sin. So it is thus impossible to
come to any reconciliation with such persons.
I warned the person I speak of a long time ago, and he was reconciled
that I was correct on Mrs. White’s counsel, and even thereafter contributed to
my ministry. But now he is like a dog returned to his vomit and he went further
this time and branded Mrs. White’s counsel as pagan tradition. He had the
example of another person who committed that serious sin, but he jumped right
in with that person and did the very same thing—branded truth as paganism and
as coming from Satan. That is speaking against the Holy Spirit and that is
unpardonable sin. There is no further basis of appeal when one goes that far—no
basis for reconciliation; nothing left by/with which the Holy Spirit may woo
such a person. Others should learn from this sad experience.
Every time a person rejects truth, he/she goes deeper into darkness and
the deception that he/she is right, and then finally become brazen enough to
commit unpardonable sin. That is the same course Satan pursued. This is a
result of the terrible ordeal involved with the shaking process, and it is
indeed very sad and terrible to witness.
4For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have
tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5And have tasted the good word of
God, and the powers of the world to come,
6If they shall fall away, to
renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of
God afresh, and put him to an open shame. Hebrews 6:4-6.
"In every age Satan has sought to impair the efforts
of God’s servants by introducing into the church a spirit of fanaticism. Thus it was in Paul’s day, and thus it was in later
centuries during the time of the Reformation. Wycliffe, Luther, and many others
who blessed the world by their influence and their faith, encountered the wiles by which the enemy seeks to lead
into fanaticism overzealous, unbalanced, and unsanctified minds" {AA 348.1}
Mat 12:32 And
whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but
whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him,
neither in this world, neither in the [world] to come.
Luk 12:10 And whosoever shall
speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him
that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.
Speaking against the teachings of the Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit) is
speaking against the Holy Spirit. Ellen White was invested with that gift to
the church. To pronounce here teachings as pagan tradition is to label the Holy
Spirit as pagan. That, my friend, is unpardonable sin any which way you reckon
it. Beware of all such agents of Satan who will entrap you in their woeful web
of deceit and lead you to perdition.
Ellen White on Birthdays
Ellen White said that it was
impossible to reason with Kellogg and that she could not even discourse with
him because he would manipulate everything she said. So she quit conversing
with him. I have the same problem with the men who count themselves my
adversary. Many folk loved Ellen White until she had to reprove them or
prove them errant on something. Then it was quite a different story. They
became her arch rival and enemy like Canright
for one example of many.
Pride surely does lead to
destruction, and a fool hates instruction says God's Word. What Ellen White
says about Christmas, Thanksgiving and Birthdays is principle that never
changes. Ellen White never made much of birthdays and encouraged folk to give a
gift to the cause. But she received gifts as the following statements reveal.
And she gave Christmas gifts to other children with one of her sons.
"On birthday occasions the
children should be taught that they have reason for gratitude to God for His
loving-kindness in preserving their lives for another year. Precious lessons
might thus be given. For life, health, food, and clothing, no less than for the
hope of eternal life, we are indebted to the Giver of all mercies; and it is
due to God to recognize His gifts, and to present our offerings of gratitude to
our greatest benefactor. These birthday gifts are recognized of
Heaven."—The Review and Herald, December 9, 1890. {CSW 143.1}
“It was my fifty-eighth birthday,
and surely it was to be celebrated in a way and place that I had little dreamed
of. It seemed hard for me to realize that I was in Europe; that I had borne my
testimony in England, Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, and was on my
way to labor in Italy." {LS 289.3}
"I had entirely forgotten
that yesterday was my birthday, until I had returned from my ride just before
dinner. Then I found that Sister King.... invited to dinner, May White and her
children, and Ella May and Dores Robinson. I had been
so busy that I had not thought of its being my birthday, and I was, as Brother
Starr used to say, “plumb surprised” to find such a large gathering, and two
tables set in our dining room. {2MR 252.3}
We partook of a nicely prepared meal, after which we went into the parlor, and
engaged in a season of prayer and sang a few hymns. The Lord came graciously
near to us as we offered up hearty thanksgiving to God for His goodness and
mercy to us all...."{2MR 252.4}
"Sister Chapman seemed to be
so pleased to have us with her and she was so sad to have us leave her. She
tries to be cheerful and bear up with good courage. Sunday, my birthday, I
spent mostly at Sister Chapman’s. {4MR 40.3}
I thank
you for your much-valued present. It was just as nice as it could be. I shall
appreciate the gift and be reminded of the giver every time I look at it.... {4MR 40.4}
We had a very simple Thanksgiving, as all ought to have."—Letter 23, 1882,
pp. 1, 3. (To “Dear Willie,” December 1, 1882.) {4MR
40.5}
"After the meeting we drove
to the ship and bade our friends good-bye. My
sixty-fourth birthday came on Thanksgiving Day, a few days after leaving
Honolulu, and the friends at Honolulu presented me with a ten-dollar gold piece
as a birthday present, and Mr. Kerr, though a nonprofessor,
gave me an upholstered rocking chair from his parlor set as a birthday present,
because I happened to mention that it was an easy chair. It has been a great
comfort to me on the voyage, when sitting on deck." {4MR 43.2}
"November 26 was Ellen
White’s seventy-sixth birthday. A dozen of her old friends came down from the
Sanitarium to spend a pleasant hour celebrating, but such experiences reminded
her that her years were running out and she must hasten on with her literary
work." {5BIO 309.2}
Her Seventy-Eighth Birthday
Sunday, November 26, was Ellen White’s seventy-eighth birthday, but under the
pressure of work she had forgotten this. Late in the morning she took a carriage
ride. When she returned, she was greeted by a house full of people and two
tables prepared in the dining room. {6BIO 53.6}
“I had been so busy,” she wrote to Edson, “that I had not thought of its being
my birthday, and I was, as Brother Starr used to say, ‘plumb surprised’ to find
such a large gathering.”—Letter 321, 1905. {6BIO 54.1}
The surprise dinner had been prepared by Sarah Peck and Mrs. S. H. King, Ellen
White’s new housekeeper. Dores and Ella were there,
May and her three children, Grace and the twins, Mrs. King’s 10-year-old niece,
and the Elmshaven office staff. Only Willie and Mabel
were missing—Mabel working at Paradise Valley and her father at College View,
Nebraska, attending the Fall Council of the General Conference Committee. {6BIO
54.2}
“We partook of a nicely prepared meal,” Ellen White wrote, “after which we went
into the parlor, and engaged in a season of prayer, and sang a few hymns. The
Lord came graciously near to us as we offered up hearty thanksgiving to God for
His goodness and mercy to us all.”— Ibid. {6BIO 54.3}
"Sister Ings
at the Sanitarium sent down flowers, and there was another bouquet from St.
Helena. Mrs. King gave her a silver-plated water pitcher, “just such a one as I
had been thinking of purchasing” (Letter 321, 1905). {6BIO 55.3}
In writing of the surprise birthday party she took occasion to praise her new
housekeeper, who had come from Healdsburg College where she served as matron,
to take the place of Mrs. M. J. Nelson. The latter had left to continue her nurse’s
training." {6BIO 55.4}
"On Thanksgiving Day,
November 26, Ellen White reached her eighty-seventh birthday. She was not very
strong, and Crisler could go over only three pages
with her. She was the recipient of one birthday present, which some days before
had come from Mrs. F. H. DeVinney, who was working
with her husband in Japan. It was a warm knitted vest to be worn on cold days,
known as a “hug-me-tight.” When Ellen White tried it on, she showed that she
had not lost her sense of humor. She told Dores
Robinson to thank Sister DeVinney for the gift, but
to tell her “that there is a great deal more to Sister White than some people
thought”—D. E. Robinson to WCW, November 3, 1914. {6BIO 412.1}
