Rick Warren and Bill Hybels were trained by Robert Schuller.  The SDA church pays a large sum of tithe monies to send its pastors to Rick Warren and Bill Hybels to learn their methods:

Dr. Schuller’s theology categorizes him clearly as an apostate believer and heretic to be shunned. His theology has been quoted as follows:

"We must begin to say, 'I am not trying to convert any other religious people to my viewpoint.'"

"There is no need for one to recognize his own personal sin, no need for repentance, no need for the crucifixion of self"

"The Christ Spirit dwells in every human being."

"Nothing exists except God"

"Christ was self-esteem incarnate."

"The most destructive thing that can be done to a person is to call him a sinner."

"Sin is any act or thought that robs myself or another human being of his or her self-esteem."

Ron's Commentary:

  • To say that nothing exists except God is pantheism and the only logical deducement is that all is God because all that exists is God.
  • The notion that the Spirit of Christ dwells in every human being is a pantheistic lie.
  • Christ was not self-esteem incarnate. He was self-sacrifice incarnate. He was dead to self and alive to His Father's Will incarnate.
  • If the most destructive thing that can be done to a person is to call him/her a sinner, then God does that most destructive thing in the Bible. He calls us all sinners.
  • Sin is self-esteem above esteeming Christ. Lucifer's problem was self-esteem.
