The Three Angel's Messages and Sighing and
Crying for All the Abominations in Any Church
Dear Reader,
Eze 9:4 And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of
the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of
the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the
midst thereof.
Eze 9:5 And to the others he said
in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye
spare, neither have ye pity:
Eze 9:6 Slay utterly old [and] young, both maids, and little
children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom
[is] the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men
which [were] before the house
"Mark this point
with care: Those who receive the pure mark of truth, wrought in them by the
power of the Holy Ghost, represented by a mark by the man in linen, are those
'that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the church.'
Testimonies, vol. 3, pp. 266-267.
"Here we see that
the church--the Lord's sanctuary--was the first to feel the stroke of the wrath
of God. The ancient men, those to whom God had given great light and who had
stood as guardians of the spiritual interests of the people, had betrayed their
trust. They had taken the position that we need not look for miracles and the
marked manifestation of God's power as in former days. Times have changed.
These words strengthen their unbelief, and they say: The Lord will not do good, neither will He do evil. He is too merciful to visit
His people in judgment. Thus 'Peace and safety" is the cry from men who
will never again lift up their voice like a trumpet to show God's people their
transgressions and the house of Jacob their sins. These dumb dogs that would
not bark are the ones who feel the just vengeance of an offended God. Men,
maidens, and little children all perish together." E. G. White,

The Three Angel's Messages and Sighing and Crying for
Abominations
The three angels
messages and the Midnight Cry light (Matthew 25) constitute a command
(commission) to sigh and cry for all the abominations that have entered the
churches, including the professing Seventh-day Adventist church. How do we know
that the SDA church is included as having abominations even perpetrated by its
leadership? Because we are told in Isaiah 4:1-4, that Seven Women [all
organized churches] are doing their own thing at the end-time--"wearing
their own apparel"l (idolatrous
self-righteousness) instead of the robe of Christ, and "eating their own
bread" (teaching the commandments of men in lieu of the commands of God).
Such violation of the commands of God, and institution of the commands of me,
is a form of forensic legalism--man made legalism, with one of the man-made
teachings that one can be justified while violating the commands of God--the
three angel's messages. This is rhetorical, forensic legalism or the
commandments of men in lieu of the commandments of God. This is the doctrine of
the Nicolaitans.
Also in regard to the
professing SDA Church, it is literally destroyed, according to Ellen White, IN
ANOTHER LITERAL MANIFESTATION OF EZEKIEL 9. It is destroyed for a reason, just
as the Sanctuary of ancient Israel was destroyed, and that reason is for all of
its abominations. Just as faithful men warned ancient Israel, so faithful men
will warn modern Israel of its impending doom, and that the faithful must flee
to escape the ruin and be saved. Ellen White and Ezekiel 5:9, say that the
primary fulfillment of Ezekiel 9 is at the end time, because that is when God
does the worst thing He will ever do or ever has done, Matthew 24:21. That
worst thing is the great time of Jacob's trouble and the destruction that comes
after that trouble and warning to the entire world.
How and why do the
three angel's messages constitute a command to sigh and cry for all the abominations
in the world, and in churches that cannot be distinguished from the world? The
command of the first angel is "...Fear (respect) God,
and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him
that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters."
Revelation 14:6.
To "fear God"
is to worship Him and him only. Anything that is placed over and above the
worship and respect (fear) of God, is idolatry and is against the first four
commandments especially, and all twelve in particular, which is signified in
context of the three angel's messages in Revelation 14:12. Any such idol
worship is worship of the beast and his image, verse 10, and that verse
contains the warning of what will happen to all who violate any of the three
angel's messages. Thus, it becomes evident that every sin is idolatry and every
sin is comprehended in the three angel's messages.
Proper "sighing
and crying" for those sins or abominations, further defines those
abominations and how they relate to the three angel's messages as constitution
idolatry. For example, violation of the Sabbath; erroneous
doctrines, ecumenical fraternity with the world and fallen churches which
cannot be distinguished from the world. For this council, association,
girding and confederacy ALONE, the church is broken in pieces, Isaiah 8:9-20.
Accepting Accreditation by the standards of the world, in the educational
facilities of any church, is violation of the first angel's message, and
violation of the command to come out from the world. These violations, along
with those cited in Selected Messages, Book 1, pp. 202-206, are violations that
are to be repudiated and warned against by repudiation, ibid.,
p. 205. Ellen White says that the "dumb-dog" watchmen, the guardians
of the spiritual interests of the people, will NEVER AGAIN show the House of
Jacob their sins--their idolatrous practices. So God has to send other men to
do this, and the blood of the wicked will be upon their hands if this is not
done. We all (professing Seventh-day Adventists in particular) and "true
Christians" in general, have the duty to give the three angel's messages
and point out the consequences of their rejection. This is a commission of God.
This is a command of God. This is a requirement of the Everlasting Gospel. This
is a part of the gospel that Nicolaitans deny as being part of the gospel.
The gospel is
"good news" to those who are willing, by the grace empowerment of
Christ, to heed all the commands of the three angel's messages," but bad
news to all who reject those commands. Nicolaitans like giving and heeding only
the so-called "good news" part, and indeed have in many cases, ceased
to give the three angel's messages as they relate to the sins of Babylon, and
defining who and what Babylon is.
Ezekiel, chapter 13, is
a command to "prophesy against the prophets [appointed leaders] of Israel
who have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The Lord saith: and the Lord
hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the
word, Verses 2 and 6. Why? Because of Isaiah 56:10-12.
We are to say to them which daub with untempered morter, that is shall fall, Ezekiel 13:11, and warn the
patrons of such daubing the cease that activity and escape for their lives,
Isaiah 37:31, 32, even as they did in the A.D. 70 PREFIGURE, The Great
Controversy, p. 25.
