Hosea 12:1 states that wind is connected with false doctrine.

The women in Zech. 5 have wings of a stork, an unclean bird (Lev. 11:19). The women have wind in their wings. The women in prophecy symbolize churches (2 Cor 11:2, Rev 12:1). The woman in the ephah represents a woman that is being weighed in the balances (Dan 5:27) and found wanting "This is wickedness" (Zech 5:8). The ephah is lifted between the women and taken to the land of Shinar (Babylonia in its fullest extent see Young's Concordance p. 880 or Strong's Concordance).

Since Shinar is basically equivalent with Babylon, and Babylon is a "habitation of devils, a hold of every foul spirit and the cage of every unclean and hateful bird" (Rev 18:2), it comes to reason that the women are representative of fallen Babylonian churches and the woman that is being weighed might be the apostate Adventist church as it has joined the World Council of Churches (Babylon) and is being taken to deeper and deeper apostasy until Babylon has fallen completely (Zech 5:11, Rev. 18:2).
