The
Humiliation of Falling
Into
Satan’s Temptations
1Cr 10:13 There hath no temptation taken
you but such as is common to man: but God [is] faithful, who will not suffer
you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also
make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear [it].
Luk 8:13 They on the rock [are they],
which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which
for a while believe, and in time of
temptation fall away.

This Testimony is to a dear brother in Christ who is
discouraged because of falling into one of Satan’s temptations. I am posting it
on my Website because the Lord has shown me that with the bombardment of
sexuality all around us, a lot of folk have been drawn into this temptation
which Satan has perfected to its highest state of the art enticement in this
end-time. I prayed much over how to respond to this dear brother, and
about three a.m. this morning, I was given what I present below in response
to our brother’s confession. I don’t know if you picked it up, but months ago
another dear brother alluded to having the same problem and requested prayer.
So you are not the only one in this predicament and I am writing to all who
are striving to become one of the 144,000. We need to learn to strive as unto
blood against our foe who constitutes principalities in high places. But our
God is higher! Ephesians 6:12 - For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,
but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the
darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. ---- Original

Brian's Confession
I am about to reveal something humiliating to me. I strongly
feel that I will not inherit the kingdom of God because of it. I have failed
to see the exceeding sinfulness of sin which is a requirement to sigh and cry
for the abominations in the church. I have had a relapse of secret vice a
deadly "soul and body" that is why I have not the courage to
respond all the time to this forum. I still have membership in the church
this may be why. I am very self condemning but know this, forum, that if you
do not see me in heaven it will be because of this very thing. I saw that some forum members posted some articles liking to
how zinc is lost in the system because of secret vice, but I need to feel
sorrow for the sin itself rather than the consequences or suffering
resulting from the sin. Pray for me forum for this is all you can do about
this I feel. I have a lot of knowledge of God's word but I have failed to be
sanctified by it? I fail to put it into practice and I am very ashamed for
being caught up in a temptation that is common to man. I think I
am too proud to come to Christ and learn of him? I compare myself to others
and feel that my humanity without Christ is better than theirs even if
without Christ all will receive damnation. What can you say to me? Am I not like a self-confessed Judas
among you? Will not Christ ask me in that day where is my wedding garment and
I will be speechless? Signed (Confidential)
Dear brother, We could all reveal something very humiliating about
ourselves. It may be that your confession will be the means of helping others
to overcome one of Satan’s most pernicious temptations at the end-time. In
his perfected state of the art temptation in this area, he has tapped into
one of our basic needs and that makes it all the more ruinous in its
potential insidiousness. God has promised us that He has made a way of escape
from all lusts of the flesh. But we are also told that we must play a
cooperative role in exercising the will. "No
one can believe with the heart unto righteousness, and obtain justification
by faith, while continuing the practice of those things which the Word of God
forbids, or while neglecting any known duty....As God works in the heart, and
man surrenders his will to God, and co-operates with God, he works out in the
life what God WORKS IN by the Holy Spirit, and there is harmony between the
purpose of the heart and the practice of the life. Every sin
must be renounced as the hateful thing that crucified the Lord of life and
glory....It is by continual surrender of the will, by
continual obedience, that the blessing of justification is retained."
E.G. White, Selected Messages, Vol. 1, pp. 396-397. We
are told that Jesus overcame by a continuous submission of His will to the
Father’s will. Mind,
Character, and Personality Volume 2, page 691, paragraph 3 Chapter
Title: Decision and the Will Holy Spirit Does Not Take Place of
Will.--The Spirit of God does not propose
to do our part, either in the willing or the doing. This is the work of the
human agent in cooperating with the divine agencies. As soon as we incline our will to
harmonize with God's will, the grace of
Christ stands to cooperate with the human agent; but it will not be the
substitute to do our work independent of our resolving and decidedly acting.
Therefore it is not the abundance of light, and evidence piled upon evidence,
that will convert the soul it is only the human agent accepting the light, arousing the energies of the will,
realizing and acknowledging that which he knows is righteousness and truth,
and thus cooperating with the heavenly ministrations appointed to God in the
saving of the soul.--Lt 135, 1898. 692 EGW Dear and precious brother in Christ, you have
expressed the desire to follow God’s counsel to covet to prophesy, by we must
first die to self so we can be used by the Holy Spirit. Let’s consider some
very encouraging news: "Nearest the throne are those who were once
zealous in the cause of Satan, but who, plucked as brands from the burning,
have followed their Saviour with deep, intense devotion. Next are those who
perfected Christian characters in the midst of falsehood and infidelity, those
who honored the law of God when the Christian world declared it void, and the
millions, of all ages, who were martyred for their faith. And beyond is the
"great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and
kindreds, and people, and tongues, . . . before the throne, and before the
Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands." Revelation
7:9. Their warfare is ended, their victory won. They have run the race and
reached the prize. The palm branch in their hands is a symbol of their
triumph, the white robe an emblem of the spotless righteousness of Christ
which now is theirs." E.G. White, The Great Controversy, p. 665. I’m sure
the 144,000 will be nearest the throne, but yet they are like brands plucked
from the burning. This is good news! In order that my further points don’t
become consigned to oblivion in elongated paragraphs, I am going to bullet
them for easy review. Here is
what I was inspired to say early this a.m. I keep a small hand held tape
recorder by my bedside and here is what I was told to say. There are around
66 points. · You are a very intelligent person
and God needs you in His Army. I was shown that God is calling you to His
vineyard to do a very special work for Him. Jesus has had a difficult enough
time getting a bride. Let’s do all in our power with the aid of His Holy
Spirit to help the bride make herself ready. Softly and tenderly, by His
still small voice, Jesus is calling. What is your answer to Him? · Jesus is calling everyone of us to
be His bride. We know too much for any other position. Let’s be faithful to
His pleading call. · The Spirit of Prophecy advised
against masturbation for a good reason. The enervating effects of that habit
are not conducive to our best service potential in the Lord’s work. · The apostate new movement condones
masturbation. That is a good reason to question it. · The fleeting sensation of any orgasm
is not worth the loss of salvation. · We look upon the rich young ruler
and think him foolish for choosing his many possessions instead of Christ,
but what is more foolish than choosing an ethereal orgasm in lieu of Christ? · We need to concentrate on dying
daily like Paul, lest in preaching to others we are lost ourselves. · We are told that when the final
events really break upon us, we would rather die than sin. So let’s press
toward that mark! · We should not hesitate to sigh and
cry for all the abominations because we still have faults and defects, for
such faults are not unpardonable sin as are the abominations we are to sigh
and cry for. · Ellen White sure sighed and cried
for all the abominations all the time she was still eating oysters. This is
just an example of the above point. We should not use this example to excuse
our defects, but it is encouraging to know that she was not perfect while
sighing and crying for all the abominations. · When Jesus told Mary Magdalene to
go and sin no more, that meant two things. She had not committed unpardonable
sexual sin, and it was indeed possible for her to cease from such very
tempting sin. · Scientists have found that every
time we commit an act a bouton is formed at the
endings of the nerves in the brain. So, sow an act, form a habit. It takes
about three weeks of abstinence to begin to effect a change in a habit and
lessen the strength of the bouton(s) established by
a habit.
The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, Fourth
Edition · It won’t be long until the latter
rain is poured out, but it won’t be visited upon those who are not overcoming
known sin. We are too near home to slack off now to become stony ground
hearers of the Word only. · It is Satan’s objective to accuse
us day and night before the throne of God, but we have a God who is more
powerful. Let us not be discouraged by the depravity of Satan, any more than
we are discouraged by his agents teaching falsehoods. · Let’s remember that the disciples had
faults right up close to the time of the outpouring of the Early Rain on the
Day of Pentecost, but they laid aside those faults and differences and
received the Holy Spirit. Ellen White said that God chooses weak and erring
me. Weak and Erring -- "As the Elder Brother of our race He (Christ)
knows that the messengers whom He sees fit to send are WEAK, ERRING men but
to all who give themselves wholly to His service He promises divine
aid." E.G. White, Acts of the Apostles, p. 56. · Consider that Elijah lost faith and
ran from Jezebel after such a huge demonstration of God’s power in his behalf
on Mt. Carmel! So take courage friend, we are all weak and erring. · Awhile back, I recommended the
Christian movie entitled FIREPROOF. It stars Kirk Cameron. In the movie he is
a married man who becomes addicted to porn and almost loses his wife to a
doctor where she works. He finally takes the TV and computer outside and
demolishes it with a baseball bat. It is better to enter heaven with a demolished
TV and computer, than to not enter at all! J
If you have to go that far, do it! · I have found personally that to
look at pornographic material is the big step down. If you will prevent that
act, you won’t fall near as easily or at all. By beholding we are changed and
that is a much more powerful force than most realize. · Let’s all remember than any sin
willfully persisted in can become unpardonable by grieving away the Holy
Spirit. Ellen White said God does not have
a list of graded sins, so your sin dear Brother, is no worse than anyone
else’s. We are all in the same boat! Let us
continuously ask ourselves if our pet sins are worth the loss of eternal
life. · Ellen White said coffee drinking is
a sin. I never have any coffee in the house, but when I go to a restaurant
that I know has good coffee, I am satanically tempted to drink it. Please
pray for me. I need to overcome this sin. · It can help greatly to practice the
presence of Jesus. The Rothschild’s set a place at their table for Satan whom
they worship. How many Christians do this? Would you masturbate in front of
Christ? Would I drink coffee in front of Christ? No! · As I said earlier, Satan’s greatest
potentiality for ensnaring us is wherein our basic needs are involved such as
appetite and sex, and a wrong appetite/diet can feed the other. Ellen White
said that one of the last things we will overcome is appetite. · You need to get out of the apostate
new movement and forums that would remove you if you gave them the full
truth, such as Ulicia Unruh’s forum. Seeing others make excuses for the
apostasy of the new movement is no inspiration to you and what you must do to
fulfill the condition of sighing and crying for all the abominations. · We are approaching the greatest
time of trouble ever to visit planet earth, and we will need the covering
protection that is found only in God’s hedge of protection—obedience to His
commandments so that the Holy Spirit may remain with us as our protector and
guide. · Ellen White said considering the
terrible events that are coming upon us, we would rather die than sin, so
press on to that mark. You won’t care a thing about masturbating then and I
won’t care a thing about a cup of coffee! Press on! · If Jesus needed moment by moment
power from His Father, what do we need?! And we never know when our lives
will be snuffed out. In 2000, I slid on black ice into the front wheels of a
Semi truck loaded with two trailers of lumber. I could have been killed
instantly. · I invite you to pray a very serious
prayer that I have prayed since the inception of my ministry in 1986. I have
asked God to do to me whatever I need, whatever it takes, to save me. Be
ready and willing to accept the consequences of that prayer and God will
answer it. P.S. I always pray that whatever He has to do to me won’t have to
be too bad! J · With the world events that are
transpiring all around us, WE CAN SEE THE FINISH LINE DEAR BROTHER. Don’t
drop out of the race now. You qualified for the race by overcoming a
difficult hurdle—accepting present truth. Now carry on because we can indeed
see the finish line—praise God Almighty, we can see the FINISH LINE! Keep
your eyes focused on the finish line! Jesus coming in the clouds of heaven! Matthew
6:13 - And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine
is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.
Amen. Luke 11:4 - And forgive us our sins; for we
also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into
temptation; but deliver us from evil.
