Committed Unpardonable Sin?

When a church betrays sacred trusts to the point God can no longer work with it, and to the point it has committed unpardonable sin, obviously, there is no added probation proffered by God. This fact is proven by Jeremiah, chapters 7 and 11:9-15. That generation of Jews received no added probation. That is the generation Ellen White says there will be a counterpart to at the end-time.

The question of unpardonable sin is of utmost seriousness and importance. For that reason, I would request that you pray to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob before you read this document.

Ancient Israel was given a added probation because it did not commit unpardonable sin. If it had, Jesus would not (on the cross) have asked the Father to forgive them for they knew not what they did. Murder was never unpardonable. Moses proved that.  David proved that. Paul, the murderer of Christians proved that.

Though as a corporate theocracy Israel did not put away sin in its allotted 70 weeks of probation (Daniel 9), and the stoning of Stephen which was commensurate with the close of the 70 weeks of probation, yet Israel did not commit unpardonable sin in the manner the Jews of Jeremiah 11:9-15 did, else Jesus would not have prayed for them on the cross, and they would have received the same sentence as the Jews of Jeremiah 11:15.

Lest God was of partiality in the case of the Jews circa A.D. 34 and on, as compared with Jeremiah 11:15, we must conclude that the latter did commit unpardonable sin and the former did not if for no other reasons than Jesus Himself said that “they know not what they do,” and He asked His Father to forgive them. The Lord has shown me that is why added probation was extended to them and not the Jews of Jeremiah 11:9-15. SDA’s who teach added probation of Adventists at the end-time, have no resolution to Jeremiah 11:9-15. They fail to respond to questioning concerning that incident and its accompanying outcome of no added probation. And it is Jeremiah 11:15, which Ellen White says will be COUNTER PARTED (paralleled) at the end-time. More on that later.

“With what unwearied love did Christ minister to Israel during the period of added probation. Upon the cross He prayed, "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do." Luke 23:24. After His ascension the gospel was preached first at Jerusalem. There the Holy Spirit was poured out. There the first gospel church revealed the power of the risen Saviour. There Stephen--"his face as it had been the face of an angel" (Acts 6:15)--bore his testimony and laid down his life. All that heaven itself could give was bestowed. "What could have been done more to My vineyard," Christ said, "that I have not done in it?" Isa. 5:4. So His care and labor for you are not lessened, but increased. Still He says, "I the Lord do keep it; I will water it every moment; lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day." Isa. 27:3. {COL 218.1}

It is the objective of this document to prove that the SDA apostate new movement has closed its probation by violation of Isaiah 8:9-13 and every principle cited in Jeremiah chapters 7 and 11.

Two Dr.’s of Divinity, the late Dr. Ralph Larson, and Dr. John Grosboll, have concluded that the new movement church has indeed committed unpardonable sin. This document will proved incontrovertible evidence that this is the case. Such evidence makes any prospective calls of Matthew 22:1-10 (other than 1844, 1888, and 1950 (via Wieland and Short) a non sequitur except for being applicable on an individual basis only per the final call to all churches.

The most serious issue involving the new movement SDA church as defined in Selected Messages, Bk. 1, 204-205, is whether or not the church has committed unpardonable sin.

This 28th of January, 2010, the Lord showed this writer that the following statement would not make one whit of sense if the SDA church cannot fall before any further call of the Midnight Cry, Matthew 25. The Lord showed me that in order for God to continue to work on the principle of no longer working with A CHURCH that proves unfaithful to the work of the Lord, the probation of such a church closes, as far as God is concerned, the moment they prove unfaithful to His Work, for “the Lord can no longer work with them.”

"The Lord Jesus will always have a chosen people to serve Him. When the Jewish people rejected Christ, the Prince of life. He took from them the kingdom of God and gave it unto the Gentiles. God will continue to work on this principle with every branch of His work. When a church proves unfaithful to the work of the Lord, whatever their position may be, however high and sacred their calling, the Lord can no longer work with them. Others are then chosen to bear important responsibilities. But, if these in turn do not purify their lives from every wrong action, if they do not establish pure and holy principles in all their borders, then the Lord will grievously afflict and humble them and, unless they repent, will remove them from their place and make them a reproach.

God is not 'worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing' (Acts 17:25). E. G. White, The Upward Look, 131.

There is no higher or more sacred calling than to have once been the “chosen people” of God—the called out “remnant.” Apostate Israel was once so favored of God. But God removed them from that position. So why do Adventists feel that it is so remotely impossible that such a thing has happened to them? I’ll tell you why. It is because they feel that Laodicea is the last church of Revelation 2 and 3, and therefore God is stuck with them no matter what they do, and that is one of the most deceptive and cherished lies they believe. God says that all seven messages apply to the end of time, to wit:

"The names of the seven churches are symbolic of the church in different periods of the Christian era. The number seven indicates completeness, and is symbolic of the fact that the messages [plural] extend to the end of time, while the symbols used reveal the condition of the church at different periods in the history of the world." Acts of the Apostles, p. 585.

"I wish to emphasize the fact, that the churches to which John was told to send the instruction given him represent all the churches in our world, and that this revelation to him is to be studied and believed and preached by the Seventh-day Adventist Church today." Manuscript Release Vol. 1, p. 372.

So if Laodicea is the final church and is slated to go through as the noble ship that reaches port heaven, then ALL THE CHURCH IN OUR WORLD are that noble ship! That is how senseless Laodiceans have become! That is how self-inflated foolish virgins come to believe they are ALL RIGHT, when they are ALL WRONG:

“What greater deception can come upon human minds than a confidence that they are right when they are all wrong! The message of the True Witness finds the people of God in a sad deception, yet honest in that deception. They know not that their condition is deplorable in the sight of God. While those addressed are flattering themselves that they are in an exalted spiritual condition, the message of the True Witness breaks their security by the startling denunciation of their true condition of spiritual blindness, poverty, and wretchedness. The testimony, so cutting and severe, cannot be a mistake, for it is the True Witness who speaks, and His testimony must be correct.” {3T 252.4}

You are herein and hereby privy to the startling denunciation of the True Witness whether you will hear or forbear.

Now let’s juxtapose the above Upward Look, 131, statement with the following:

"Here we see that the church the Lord's sanctuary was the first to feel the stroke of the wrath of God. The ancient men [leaders], those to whom God had given great light and who had stood as guardians of the spiritual interests of the people, had betrayed their trust. They had taken the position that we need not look for miracles and the marked manifestation of God's power as in former days. Times have changed. These words strengthen their unbelief, and they say: The Lord will not do good, neither will He do evil. He is too merciful to visit His people in judgment. Thus "Peace and safety" is the cry from men who will never again lift up their voice like a trumpet to show God's people their transgressions and the house of Jacob their sins. These dumb dogs that would not bark are the ones who feel the just vengeance of an offended God. Men, maidens, and little children all perish together." E.G. White, Testimonies for the Church, vol. 5, p. 211.

Questions:

Mat 5:37

But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

·       Is betrayal of sacred trust the same as proving unfaithful to the work of the Lord? Yea and Yea! Amen and Amen!

·       Is “unbelief” unfaithfulness to the work of the Lord? Oh Yea! Yea!

·       Is “never again” lifting up their voice to show God’s people their transgressions and the House of Jacob their sins—unfaithfulness to the work of the Lord? Yea! Yea!

·       Ellen White thus prophesied that the church leaders would betray sacred trusts! That is the same thing as being unfaithful to the work of the Lord. God can no longer work with A CHURCH that is unfaithful to the work of the Lord. If that is not unpardonable sin, write your rebuttal, send it to me, and I will publish it on my Website? Fair enough?

·       The Testimonies, Vol. 5, 211 statement (above) is based on Ezekiel 9, and Ellen White begins the chapter on p. 207, quoting Ezekiel 9.

·       Ellen White said that Ezekiel 9 will be literally fulfilled, beginning at His Sanctuary, professing new movement, spiritual Jerusalem, the imposter SDA church masquerading as a church.

·       Ellen White says that only the presence of Christ can constitute a church, The Upward Look, 131. In 1 Selected Messages, 405, she says that the new movement removes God. So the new movement does not even qualify as a church because only the presence of Christ can constitute a church.

·       The imposter SDA new movement conspired with Babylon in the latter 1950’s to remove pillar doctrines from the SDA church.

·       The imposter SDA new movement conspired to adopt the Trinity Doctrine, which sweeps away the entire Christian economy by doing away with the heavenly Sanctuary and Atonement of the Son of God at His Incarnation there, which was from the foundation of the earth.

·       The new movement’s violation of Isaiah 8:9-12, results in one option—“broken in pieces,” stated three times for serious emphasis. The SDA new movement has abundantly fulfilled this violation by ecumenical liaison with Babylon’s associations, counsels/councils, girdings, and confederacies, and perpetrated this violation of sacred trusts via clandestine conspiracy without informing its members until the latter 1980’s, when it was forced to do so by the Hungarian revolt of 1500 faithful SDA’s there who protested the church’s membership in the Hungarian Council of Free Churches, Babylon’s National Council of Churches in Hungary. The Adventist Review reported that the church had been a member for 30 years up to that time, and has continued membership since!

·       The new movement “church” cannot call folk out of Babylon when it is a member itself. This is total unfaithfulness and betrayal of sacred trusts involved with the commission given to the church in 1844. Those trusts involved the giving of the three angel’s messages of Revelation 14, and the Midnight Cry of Matthew 25. They involved a covenant made by Adventists in 1844, to wit:

·       Adventist Church Covenant With God in 1861

·       “Resolved, That this conference recommend the following church covenant: We, the undersigned, hereby associate ourselves together as a church, taking the name Seventh-day Adventists, covenanting to keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus Christ. Seconded by Brother Hull.” Adopted.--Ibid., Oct. 8, 1861. {1BIO 452.3}

·       Do those words ring a familiar bell?!!! Did the Hebrews make the very same covenant at God’s sounding of the ten commandments at Sinai?! Somewhat eerie is it not?! Yea, somewhat more than ironical!

·       Isaiah 8:9-13 is one of the most serious commands of God in Scripture. The consequences of violating those verses constitutes unpardonable sin. No other option is given than “broken in pieces.”

·       Ellen White is speaking of A CHURCH, and not just individuals in a church. When A CHURCH proves unfaithful, God can no longer work with it. That is unpardonable sin any way you reckon it.

Lest we be found committing unpardonable sin, we must be aware of such issues as:

·       What constitutes rejection of Christ?

·       What is the Work of the Lord as commissioned to the SDA church?

·       What would constitute unfaithfulness to the work of the Lord?

·       What would purifying our lives of every wrong action consist of as far as a church is concerned?

·       What would the establishment of pure and holy principles in all our borders consist of as such applies to a church militant—wheat and tare co-ed church?

·       To brag that such a new movement is God’s commandment-keeping people, is amongst the most abominable of lies.

·       To maintain that such a new movement is the apple of God’s eye, is the epitome of senseless, foolish virgin deceptions.

These questions are not difficult to answer. Why? Because we have the historical example of apostate Israel as a template, a prefigure type, from which we may determine the answers.

If there is indeed proof that the new movement SDA church has committed unpardonable sin already, that would mean that no future call of added probation would be forthcoming, except that there is a final call to all INDIVIDUALS in all churches who have not rejected light WHEN they were exposed to it.

Such a matter of unpardonable sin is so serious, that no man’s opinion would be worthy of consideration involving such an issue. So I will rely on God’s Word ALONE in determining the answer to this most important of all questions involving the current status of the professing SDA new movement church.

God’s Word was indeed given as an ensample (example) for us, so that we might determine such important answers. It would be quite negligent of God to leave us in the dark as to what constitutes unpardonable sin. No fair or just God would impute such a sentence after the fact without a substantial warning of just what unpardonable sin involves.

The first clues in the Bible, from which we may discern an answer to all of the questions enumerated above are the Bible stories involving the apostasies of Israel. Think back to the earliest accounts when Abraham, the Father of the Faithful, found it necessary to separate from his kinsman who were living in disobedience to God.

Then recall that Moses and Aaron were in charge of God’s church in the wilderness. Moses removed the Tabernacle from the camp until it was cleansed by killing off all who had committed apostasy and would not repent. Then the tabernacle was brought back to the camp site. This shows that God cannot work with those who have committed apostasy and will not repent. And, Moses did not pray for the rest of the people who had repented until the morning after the apostates were killed. Read the Bible’s account to see this is a fact.

In Jeremiah 11:9-15, the leaders of Israel conspired with God’s enemies. Those leaders conspired and confederated with Baal. This constituted marriage to Satan’s Synagogue, rather than mere playing the harlot. Thus, when a church marries into Satan’s brothel, Satan becomes its husband rather than Christ, and God is thus removed. God did not instruct Isaiah not to pray for Israel when she played the harlot. But God did instruct Jeremiah not to pray for her when she conspired and confederated (joined) in Baal worship. This is an important distinction.

In the verses under consideration, we know that it was leaders who had conspired with Baal, because God asks what His beloved (His faithful) had to do in His house (His Sanctuary), since it had wrought lewdness with many. Were it only individuals within the church that had conspired with God’s enemies, He would not have said that His house (Sanctuary) had done so. The lesson here is that when the leaders of God’s people conspire with His enemies to come into association, counsel/council, girding, confederacy/conspiracy (Isaiah 8:9-12) with His enemies who serve Baal (Babylon), that constitutes unpardonable sin. That is why these verses instruct Jeremiah not to even pray for the church, God’s house, His sanctuary.

Let’s bring things more up to date. Consider that after their rejection of even the first angel’s message in 1844, all of the Protestant churches in 1844, were "rejected" by God from ever being His church and people again, and thereby were denounced as being part of fallen Babylon. Another people were chosen to take their place.

The fact that the Advent people were chosen to be God's people proves that the Protestant churches had betrayed their trust and could never again be used of God as a corporate body—as His church. God was even then working on the principle of taking His church away from those who were unfaithful to His work by rejecting present truth—the truth of the first and second angel’s messages and the Midnight Cry light.

"At the proclamation of the first angel's message (by 1840), the people of God were in Babylon..." Spirit of Prophecy, Vol. 4, p. 239.

"When the churches spurned the counsel of God by rejecting the Advent message, the Lord rejected them. The first angel was followed by a second, proclaiming, 'Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.'" Spirit of Prophecy, Vol. 4, p. 232.

The 1844 call to the churches at that time, constituted a first call of Matthew 22 and the Midnight Cry of Matthew 25. There can be no particle of doubt on this. But that was a first call to Adventists, as well, and the faithful amongst the Adventists heeded that call.

So why did probation close for those churches before they had opportunity to reject the additional calls of Matthew 22 and the future call of Matthew 25, the Midnight Cry Loud Cry? There is only one answer: They rejected the call made at that time. They rejected the light of present truth. In rejecting the light of the first angel’s message, Ellen White said that they could not discern further light. So Matthew 22:1-10 no longer applied to them. They closed their probation in the summer and fall of 1844. All who heard and understood the message, but then or later renounced it, or strayed from it, had a closed door on salvation. That is exactly what Ellen White said in Word to the Little Flock, p. 14. Don’t read past this point too fast. This is dead serious. Here is the WTLF statement for your edification. This is PROOF PERFECT as to how a church and/or its members many commit unpardonable sin:

"While praying at the family altar, the Holy Ghost fell on me, and I seemed to be rising higher and higher, far above the dark world. I turned to look for the Advent people in the world, but could not find them--when a voice said to me, 'Look again, and look a little higher.' At this I raised my eyes and saw a straight and narrow path cast up high above the world. On this path the Advent people were traveling to the City, which was at the farther end of the path. They had a bright light set up behind them at the first end of the path, which an angel told me was the Midnight Cry. This light shone all along the path, and gave light for their feet so they might not stumble. And if they kept their eyes fixed on Jesus, who was just before them, leading them to the City, they were safe. But soon some grew weary, and they said the City was a great way of, and they expected to have entered it before. Then Jesus would encourage them by raising his glorious right arm, and from his arm came a glorious light which waved over the Advent band, and they shouted Hallelujah! Others rashly denied the light behind them, and said that it was not God that had led them out so far. The light behind them went out leaving their feet in perfect darkness, and they stumbled and got their eyes off the mark and lost sight of Jesus, and fell off the path down in the dark and wicked world below. It was just as impossible for them to get on the path again and go to the City, as all the wicked world which God had rejected. They fell all the way along the path one after another, until we heard the voice of God like many waters, which gave us the day and hour of Jesus' coming....

By this time the 144,000 were all sealed and perfectly united. On their foreheads was written, God, New Jerusalem, and a glorious Star containing Jesus' new name." E.G. White, Word to the Little Flock, p. 14.

So to reject, or stray from the Midnight Cry light, which called us out of Babylon in 1844, is unpardonable sin because it is then IMPOSSIBLE to get back on the pathway to heaven. This is exactly what the new movement SDA “church” has done via its ecumenical liaisons with Babylon. And if you don’t like it from Ellen White, then read it from God in Isaiah 8:9-12, where there is one option for violation: “broken in pieces.”

As the fallen churches disqualified themselves for further chances in the form of further calls by rejecting the first angel’s messages, similarly the SDA church has disqualified itself from any form of added probation because of its rejection of truth once held. It is now just as foolish to add probation to the corporate fallen new movement SDA church structures as it would be to add probation to the fallen churches of 1844. But some are making this very foolish error.

In light of all of the above facts, it is one of the most foolish misconceptions of some Laodicean professing Seventh-day Adventists that added calls of relative to added probation must be made to them before they are fallen, when they are already fallen because of their liaison with Baal (Babylon). By the same folly, it is just as foolish for them to assume that the Sunday Law must accrue before they separate from the new movement SDA church which has returned as a dog to its vomit in its overtures to Baal (Babylon) by way of strictly forbidden association, counsel/council, girding, and confederacy with fallen Babylon.

In light of the above facts involving the fallen churches of Babylon, there has been an on-going call to individuals in all those churches since 1844. And there will be another final call to the people of those fallen churches, but not to those churches as corporate bodies. God has never been able to work with those churches again because they betrayed sacred trusts—the Work of the Lord. God was and is still working on the principle of no longer working with those who were unfaithful in accepting His present truth.

By the false reasoning of most present day Adventists, those churches as a corporate structure should have been recognized by God until the National Sunday law. The way most Adventists interpret Testimonies, Vol. 5, p. 81, those churches should have continued to be used of God and not renounced as Babylon, for it is in the time of the National Sunday law that the gold will be separated from the dross IN ALL CHURCHES, not just the SDA new movement church. This is made clear in the first and last paragraph of that page which sets the context: “There are precious ones now hidden who have not bowed the knee to Baal. They have not had the light which has been shining in a concentrated blaze upon you [Adventists].” The last paragraph makes reference once again to these hidden ones: “….then the hidden ones will be revealed to view, and with hosannas range under the banner of Christ.”

So you can see that those who have not bowed the knee to Baal, by not knowing that their church is in apostasy (since 1844), are subject to the final future call of Matthew 22:1-10. BUT THAT FINAL CALL DOES NOT APPLY TO THE CORPORATE STRUCTURE OF THOSE CHURCHES. And the same principles now apply to the new movement SDA church which has bowed the knee to Baal by a conspiracy to secretly associate, counsel/council/ gird and conspire/confederate WITH  THE FALLEN CHURCHES OF BABYLON. That is a direct violation of the Midnight Cry light and the second angel’s message, both of which called us out of Babylon in 1844.

The fallen churches of Babylon were rejected by God before the end of time; before the Sunday law; before the end-time final call of Matthew 22 and Matthew 25. So, pray tell, what would preclude the same rejection of the new movement SDA church which has proven unfaithful to the work of the Lord, by its renewed association, counsel/council, girding and confederacy with those rejected fallen Babylonian churches?

"The sins of the nominal churches have reached unto heaven, and the honest in heart will be brought to the light and come out of them." Testimonies, vol. 2, p. 449 (October 2, 1868).

Obviously, when a church denomination has been rejected by God and declared to be "Babylon fallen," that church's probation is already closed corporately and is doomed for destruction except for individuals who do not KNOW of this apostasy.

We know that the members of those fallen churches are responsible for coming out of them WHEN they hear the truth about their fallen state of apostasy. Why would this principle not apply to members of the new movement SDA church? Why would they be patronized by extra time and calls when they have less excuse than the Babylonians, because they supposedly knew the truth and once embraced it?

Laval Picard and followers would counter that the SDA’s must hear the Righteousness by Faith truth before they are finally rejected! But truth is, they have no excuse for not knowing it. So why any special treatment of SDA’s over the Babylonians who have not had the light of truth emblazoned on their path, and SDA’s have? 5T 81. Why would there be any added probation for Adventists and not for the other fallen churches? Remember, that when a church joins Baal by way of association, counsel/council, girding, confederacy/conspiracy, as the Jews did in Jeremiah, Chapters 7 and 11, there is no added probation. God can no long work with such churches, The Upward Look, 131.

What is the Difference Between Playing the Harlot and Joining Babylon

God accused Israel of playing the harlot. In Ellen White’s day, on four different occasions she accused the SDA church of playing the harlot. That is not unpardonable sin. That is agreeing somewhat (concord) with Babylon, BUT DOES NOT INCLUDE JOINING its associations, counsel’s/councils, girdings and confederacies/conspiracies. Notice:

“I have been shown that the spirit of the world is fast leavening the church. You are following the same path as did ancient Israel. There is the same falling away from your holy calling as God's peculiar people. You are having fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness. Your concord with unbelievers has provoked the Lord's displeasure. You know not the things that belong to your peace, and they are fast being hid from your eyes. Your neglect to follow the light will place you in a more unfavorable position than the Jews upon whom Christ pronounced a woe.” {5T 75.3}

SDA church leaders were engaging some fellowship and concord (agreement) with the unfruitful works of darkness. That was “playing the harlot,” as ancient Israel did. But that did not constitute “marrying,” and financially (via annual dues) supporting by joining Babylon’s associations, counsel/councils, girdings and confederacies/conspiracies. Playing around (flirting) with a harlot and having some concord (agreement with her) is far different from joining in with her and financially supporting her. At that point, one would be joined to her and corporately responsible for her acts.

1Cr 6:16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.

The SDA new movement church has married a harlot (Babylon) by joining her associations, counsels/councils, girdings, confederacies/conspiracies, and paying her annual dues which come to quite a considerable sum. That is no longer just “playing the harlot.”

How is it that any members who continue to cling to the doomed churches of Babylon, after hearing the truth, will be lost along with the church they remain with—and SDA’s have all these numberless opportunities regardless of what they do? Do we serve a partial God, or does His Word say He is without partiality?

1Ti 5:21 I charge [thee] before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.

Jam 3:17

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, [and] easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

"All are to hear the last message of warning.  The prophecies in the book of Revelation, chapters 12 to 18, are being fulfilled.  In the eighteenth chapter is recorded the very last call to the churches.  This call is now to be given." Last Day Events, p 83 (Manuscript 75, September 20, 1906) see also Upward Look, p 277.

Has Probation for the SDA “Church” now Closed?

There can be no doubt that the church has betrayed sacred trusts and has thus been unfaithful to the work of the Lord. I have read statements by some SDA pastors that they will never again give the three angel’s messages “because they are too controversial.”

Some Pastors like Bill Hughes say that the church hasn’t given the full Everlasting Gospel of the three angel’s for three decades now. I say at least four and one-half decades per the Evangelical/SDA conferences in the mid to latter 1950’s. Why? How so? Because that is when pillar doctrines were compromised and/or abandoned. That is when the human nature of Christ, the doctrine upon which all other beliefs cluster and pivot, was scrapped.

One would not be remiss in tracing the omega of apostasy back to fifteen years after Ellen White’s death in 1915, for in 1930, Leroy Froom smuggled in the Trinity Doctrine.

"Most of the founders of Seventh-day Adventism would not be able to join the church today if they had to subscribe to the denomination's Fundamental Beliefs. More specifically, most would not be able to agree to belief Number 2, which deals with the doctrine of the Trinity." George R. Knight, Ministry magazine, October, 1993.

In the same year (1930) the church adopted the world’s Accreditation Standards for education was adopted by SDA educational institutions. This was the agency by which the church was married to the world—by bringing the world’s curriculum into the classrooms of Adventist youth. Largely due to this act of apostasy, a large segment of the new movement church now disbelieve in the seven day creation week. Many seminary professors teach that heresy which detracts from any credibility accruing to the weekly Sabbath. If God took millenniums to create the world, and then rested some indefinite millennium after creation, what does that do to the weekly Sabbath?!

Leroy Froom said in Ministry magazine, circa 1957, that Christ took the nature of Adam BEFORE the fall. A copy of that issue of Ministry was eventually sent to over 450,000 non SDA ministers, not to mention public libraries and other outlets, as a testament to what Seventh-day Adventist believe. Leroy Froom was editor of Ministry magazine at that time.

That abominable heresy was never corrected by Ministry, to this day. Every member of the church is corporately responsible for that abomination.

The implication of that heresy is that Christ could only be our substitute and NOT OUR EXAMPLE. That teaching effectually annihilates the need of an Investigative Judgment, because by that teaching, no man could overcome sin, so the only condition for salvation would be FORENSIC JUSTIFICATION, without sanctification. Thus, Andreasen was totally correct and discerning to fault Froom's position as heresy and antichrist! Nothing could be more antichrist than destroying the pivotal doctrine around which all true Christianity clusters—the human nature of Christ as it directly relates to the atonement and the Incarnation of Christ into humanity, which was an integral part of the sacrifice at His Incarnation in the heavenly Sanctuary from the foundation of the earth when He was slain there.

"The sacrifice of Christ as an atonement for sin is the great truth around which all other truths cluster...I present before you the great, grand monument of mercy and regeneration, ...the Son of God uplifted on the cross." (GW 315.)

The Trinity Doctrine totally sweeps away the Sanctuary sacrifice in heaven by teaching that the Holy Spirit was always a separate third person apart from being the soul of the life of Christ, as Ellen  White defines the Holy Spirit. The highest good, crowning sacrificial gift that heaven can bestow was wrought in the heavenly Sanctuary when the Son of God covenanted to relinquish (empty Himself) of His Divine ONLY existence to be thereafter combined with humanity forever. That is when the third person of the Godhead became such.

The Trinity Doctrine denies this highest good, crowning sacrifice, by teaching that the Holy Spirit was always a separate third person. That is heresy. That sweeps away the Sanctuary truth and the Atonement—thus sweeping away the entire Christian economy. There could be no greater heresy than to deny the highest good, crowning sacrifice of the Son in the heavenly Sanctuary, without which His sacrifice on the cross would have been of no avail says Ellen White.

Christ is the Comforter said Ellen White and John 14, where Jesus said He will send the Comforter and then said He would come to us. Jesus sacrificed the life that WAS HIS, for us, for the purpose of regeneration back into the image of God, before glorification. Revelation 14:1-4 says that the 144,000 are blameless. This proves that overcoming sin is possible this side of glorification, but the false gospel of the Nicolaitans denies this truth. Notice:

"We should remember that only when Jesus comes can we be made perfect." (Taylor G. Bunch, Retired SDA minister, in Ministry magazine, December, 1965, p. 9).

The false gospel of mainline fallen Babylon is now taught by many high-placed leaders in new movement Adventism. This makes all members corporately (as a body) responsible. All this apostasy wreaked by the new movement has led one leap after another into apostasy and a likeness to fallen Babylon.

"Today the old largely negative approach--emphasizing chiefly the things wherein we differ from all other religious groups--is past, definitely past. And it is as it should be." Ministry magazine, March, 1966.

"The Adventist church today is better prepared to make common cause with these evangelicals than at any previous time in its history. The denomination is more definitely oriented than ever to the historic evangelical concepts. The heavy, sometimes bellicose, emphasis on the law and the Sabbath in times past undoubtedly struck more raw nerves... in contrast today, with a clear assert of the denomination's emphasis and membership's growth." Ministry magazine, June 1966.

The emphasis shifted from the three angel’s messages to evangelical concepts and membership growth—the proverbial numbers racket versus true conversions to the truth.

Ellen White Prophesied the Numbers Racket!

Pattern after other fallen churches: "A new order of things has COME INTO the ministry. There is a desire to pattern after other churches and simplicity and humility are almost unknown. The young ministers seek to be original, and to introduce new ideas and new plans for labor. Some open revival meetings, and by this means call large numbers into the church. But when the excitement is over, where are the converted ones? Repentance and confession of sin are not seen. The sinner is entreated to believe in Christ and accept Him, without regard to his past life of sin and rebellion. The heart is not broken. There is no contrition of soul. The supposed converted ones have not fallen upon the Rock, Christ Jesus." E.G. White, Selected Messages, Bk. 2, pp. 18, 19.

Such belief only without true confession and repentance is none other than the doctrine of the Nicolaitans which God especially hates—a false gospel which emphasizes justification only.

Doctrine of the Nicolaitans.--The doctrine is now largely taught that the gospel of Christ has made the law of God of no effect that by 'believing' we are released from the necessity of being doers of the Word. But this is the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which Christ so unsparingly condemned." E.G. White, The SDA Bible Commentary, vol. 7, p. 957.

"(Jude 4).--The Sin of the Nicolaitans.--Is it [our sin] the sin of the Nicolaitans, turning the grace of God into lasciviousness." E.G. White, SDA Bible Commentary, Vol. 7, 957.

Gnostic—Gnosticism

"The earliest extra-Biblical Christian writer to mention this party is Irenaeus (c. A.D. 185), who identifies the Nicolaitans as a Gnostic sect...

There is evidence also of a Gnostic sect in the 3d cent. A.D. bearing the name 'Nicolaitans.'

"...The doctrine of the Nicolaitans appears to have been a form of antinomianism (see SDACom 7:957). Nicolaitans of the 2d cent. seem to have continued and extended the views of the 1st-cent. adherents, holding to the freedom of the flesh, and teaching that the deeds of the flesh had no effect upon the health of the soul and consequently no relation to salvation." SDA Bible Dictionary, Vol. 8 pp. 770, 771.

"Thorns sprung up.--The thorns made it impossible for the wheat to mature

(see Luke 8:14). In the same way secular interests prevent the fruits of the Spirit (Gal. 5:22, 23) from reaching maturity. Religion is relegated to the subordinate position of being only one interest among many. For lack of cultivation it withers and eventually dies. That which the thorny-ground hearers lack is a moral transformation [E.G. White, Christ's Object Lessons,  p. 50]  To them, justification is the sum and substance of religion, and they fail to realize that the Christian life consists essentially in the process known as sanctification--the process by which evil traits and tendencies are replaced by the perfect life-pattern of Jesus Christ." Seventh-day Adventist Bible Commentary, vol. 5, 405.

So thorny-ground hearers lack a moral transformation. They don’t believe in sanctification. To them, justification is the sum and substance of religion. That is a false gospel that is being taught by many new movement SDA ministers. The sacred tithe supports them as well as those who disagree with that false gospel, but all members are responsible for tolerating and supporting those who teach that false gospel, for the tithe goes into a general pool. That is the prime reason corporate responsibility accrues in the new movement church.

Paul said to accurse anyone, even an angel, who should come with any other gospel. Accurse means anathema—to have nothing to do with—doomed. Those who support such a heretical gospel are doomed if they continue to do so after understanding corporate responsibility per Joshua chapters six and seven and the following statement by Ellen White, which is based on the principle of those chapters of the Bible:

"The plain straight testimony must live in the church, or the curse of God will rest upon His people as surely as it did upon ancient Israel because of their sins. God holds His people, as a body [corporately], responsible for the sins existing in individuals among them." Testimonies, vol. 3, p. 269.

I include that statement in nearly every document I write because it is so serious. And if you don’t accept this principle from Ellen White, read it from God in Joshua chapters six and seven.

More Compromises With Babylon

Did our professed SDA denomination decide to join with the evangelicals and to teach the same as the other churches? Just 3 years later, in the Autumn Council of 1969, a resolution was passed to teach in common with the other churches.

"Whereas... voted... departmental plans... to create a public image... set salvation within the reach of the multitudes... to place emphasis on the noncontroversial truths shared in common with all Christianity." Review and Herald, Dec. 18, 1969. Autumn Council action.

As the result of this action, the next "book of a new order" was written: SO MUCH IN COMMON. Written by the World Council of Churches and the Seventh-day Adventist church. It was published by the World Council of Churches in 1973. Co-authors were Dr. B.B. Beach of the SDA church, and Lukas Vischer, president of the World Council of Churches at the time.

This book explains how similar the teachings of the professed SDA organization are compared to the churches of the World Council. With all the rejections and concessions of our pure SDA truths by the professed SDA leadership, truly there is now so much in common!

Mrs. White has warned us. She says;

"There has been for years, in churches of the protestant faith, a strong and growing sentiment in favor of a union based upon common points of doctrine. To secure such a union, the discussion of subjects upon which all were not agreed, however important they might be from a Bible standpoint, must necessarily be waived." The Great Controversy, p. 444.

"All who neglect the word of God to study convenience and policy, that they may not be at variance with the world, will be left to receive damnable heresy for religious truth." Spirit of Prophecy, Vol. 4, p. 346.

"Those who in their human wisdom try to conceal the peculiar characteristics that distinguish God's people from the world will lose their spiritual life and will no longer be upheld by His power." Testimonies, Vol. 6, p. 250.

"When those who are uniting with the world, yet claiming great purity, plead for union with those who have ever been the opposers of the cause of truth, we should fear and shun them as decidedly as did Nehemiah." Prophets and Kings, p. 660.

In March, 1975, our SDA Pacific Press Publishing Association was in a lawsuit by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission of the Federal Government. The case was tried in the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California in San Francisco.

In a sworn affidavit from our SDA General Conference President, Neal C. Wilson, he states; quote,

"Although it is true that there was a period in the life of the Seventh-day Adventist church when the denomination took a distinctly anti-Roman Catholic viewpoint, and the term 'hierarchy' was used in a pejorative sense to refer to the papal form of church governance, that attitude on the church's part was nothing more than a manifestation of widespread antipopery among conservative protestant denominations in the early part of this century and the latter part of the last, and which has now been consigned to the historical trash heap so far as the Seventh-day Adventist church is concerned." Reply Brief for the Defendant, p. 4, case #C-74-2025 CBR. March, 1975.

In 1990, Joan Campbell, director of the United States office of the World Council of Churches, was speaking to Adventists and said;

"It is my pleasure to be with you again. I bring the warmest of greetings from the World Council of Churches and from all our member churches around the world. When I was at your worship service yesterday, it seemed as though it was my own time of worship, as well as yours. And it said to me that there are many things we hold in common. So as fellow Christians, like those of Pentecost in the earliest of days, we look at each other, and we say that we hold all things in common." Adventist Review, July 10, 1990.

And this declaration was printed and published in our own Review as something to be proud of! It ought to raise a few eyebrows! Is this not indicative that "our religion has been changed"?

Long ago, Mrs. White warned;

"We are in danger of becoming a sister to fallen Babylon, of allowing our churches to become corrupted, and filled with every foul spirit, a cage of every unclean and hateful bird." Manuscript Releases, Vol. 21, p. 380.

Therefore, "The Lord has a controversy with His professed people in these last days. In this controversy men in responsible positions will take a course directly opposite to that pursued by Nehemiah. They will not only ignore and despise the Sabbath themselves, but they will try to keep it from others by burying it beneath the rubbish of custom and tradition. In churches and in large gatherings in the open air, ministers will urge upon the people the necessity of keeping the first day of the week." Review and Herald, Vol. 1, p. 405.

Please keep in mind that most of the religious people of this world already worship on Sunday. So it is not their ministers who are urging them to worship on Sunday. It will be our own professed SDA leadership who will urge the necessity of keeping Sunday holy!

Remember, "We have far more to fear from within than from without." 1 S.M.121.

"An apostate church will unite with the powers of earth and hell to place upon the forehead or in the hand, the mark of the beast, and prevail upon the children of God to worship the beast and his image. They will seek to compel them to renounce their allegiance to God's law, and yield homage to the papacy. Then will the gold be separated from the dross, and it will be made apparent who are godly, who are loyal and true, and who are the disloyal, the dross and tinsel. Everyone who is not centered in Christ will fail to stand the test and ordeal of that day." Review and Herald, Vol. 2, p. 609.

The late Elder M. L. Andreasen, who for many years was considered the dean of Seventh-day Adventist theologians, in his forceful series of booklets entitled "Letters to the Churches" pinpoints the areas in which Satan has succeeded in his efforts to make the Omega of Apostasy a reality. As we read through Elder Andreasen's letters, we realize anew how the hellish technique that Satan used with Dr. Kellogg, has succeeded in bringing on this last great Apostasy within our church. Brother Andreasen makes a summation of the crisis we are facing today, as follows:

"We have reached a crisis in this denomination when leaders are attempting to enforce false doctrine and threaten those who object. The whole program is unbelievable. Men are now attempting to remove the foundations of many generations, and think they can succeed. If we did not have the Spirit of Prophecy we would not know of the departure from sound doctrine which is now threatening us, and the coming of the Omega which will decimate our ranks and cause grievous wounds.” M. L. Andreasen, Letters to the Churches, No. 3, p. 9.

As Elder Andreasen so ably brings out, the Omega of Apostasy consists of an open downgrading of the teachings of the Spirit of Prophecy, along with an attempt to alter our doctrinal beliefs concerning the Nature of Christ, and the Atonement, so that these will be in line with worldly doctrines. In his "Letters to the Churches," Elder Andreasen gives a number of examples of how some of our leaders have downgraded the teachings of the Spirit of Prophecy.

In 1957, the General Conference released a book entitled, "Questions on Doctrine." It was published as the outcome of a series of conferences between certain of our leaders with evangelical representatives Martin, Barnhouse and Cannon. The book was supposed to answer some pertinent questions raised by Mr. Martin, as spokesman for the evangelicals, but it seriously compromised and apostatized on some of the fundamental doctrines of our church.

The late Elder Andreasen, whom we mentioned earlier in this study, was the first prominent Adventist theologian that 'made himself a man of no reputation' by calling attention to this apostasy which he identified as the Omega Heresy, and the Omega of Apostasy.

Ellen White Reapplies Jeremiah 7:16 and Jeremiah 11:9-15 to SDA’s at the End-time

All the surrounding verses provide the context, the reasons, for God instructing Jeremiah not to pray for the apostate Jews. Pick and choose apostate Adventists always present the examples of Moses and Daniel, but they never deal with Jeremiah chapters 7 and 11. With a little prayerful study, you won’t have to wonder why.

Jeremiah 7

1 “The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying, 2 Stand in the gate of the LORD's house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of the LORD, all ye of Judah, that enter in at these gates to worship the LORD. 3 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place. 4 Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, are these. 5 For if ye throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour; 6 If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt: 7 Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever. 8 Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit. 9 Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not; 10 And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations? 11 Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the LORD. 12 But go ye now unto my place which was in
Shiloh, where I set my name at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel. 13 And now, because ye have done all these works, saith the LORD, and I spake unto you, rising up early and speaking, but ye heard not; and I called you, but ye answered not; 14 Therefore will I do unto this house, which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh. 15 And I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim. 16 Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee. 17 Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? 18 The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger. [Today SDA’s hold joint Easter sunrise services with Babylon]19 Do they provoke me to anger? saith the LORD: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces? 20 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, mine anger and my fury shall be poured out upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and upon the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be quenched. 21 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Put your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat flesh. 22 For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices: 23 But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you. 24 But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward. 25 Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day I have even sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them: 26 Yet they hearkened not unto me, nor inclined their ear, but hardened their neck: they did worse than their fathers. 27 Therefore thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee. 28 But thou shalt say unto them, This is a nation that obeyeth not the voice of the LORD their God, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth. 29 Cut off thine hair, O Jerusalem, and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on high places; for the LORD hath rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath. 30 For the children of Judah have done evil in my sight, saith the LORD: they have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to pollute it. 31 And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart. 32 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be called Tophet, nor the valley of the son of Hinnom, but the valley of slaughter: for they shall bury in Tophet, till there be no place. 33 And the carcases of this people shall be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth; and none shall fray them away. 34 Then will I cause to cease from the cities of Judah, and from the streets of Jerusalem, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride: for the land shall be desolate.”

I recall seeing an advertisement in an SDA church bulletin circa the latter 1980’s, for a joint SDA Easter sunrise service with Pat Boon and George Vandeman as hosts. All my 40 years in the church, Easter was never celebrated in the least!

The words “...for the LORD hath rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath” prove that God is willing to judge on a generational basis and in applying these abominations to a counterpart application involving SDA’s at the end-time, this proves that God will judge them by that generation and not as He judged and dealt with Israel in A.D. 27-34 and on as regards “added probation.” There was no added probation for the sins committed by Israel in the generation of Shiloh. So any counterpart of that generation will not receive added probation or indeed, it would not be a counterpart at all.

Notice the word Shiloh. This was the first settlement of the Jews after emerging from the 40 years of wandering in the Sinai desert. Was there a faithful remnant of Jews of that generation? And how and where were they worshipping? Notice:

"The recreant priests added licentiousness to the dark catalogue of their crimes yet they still polluted by their presence the tabernacle of the Lord, and, laden with sin, dared to come into the presence of a holy God. As the men of Israel witnessed the corrupt course of the priests, they thought it safer for their families not to come up to the appointed place of worship. Many went from Shiloh with their peace disturbed, their indignation aroused, until they at last determined to offer their sacrifices themselves, concluding that this would be fully as acceptable to God, as to sanction in any manner the abominations practiced in the Sanctuary." E.G. White, The Signs of the Times, vol. 1, p. 264, col. 3, December 1, 1881.

Remember the above statement when you read that Ellen White says that Jeremiah chapters six and 7 COUNTERPART (PARALLEL) SDA’s at the end-time. Be careful to note all the parallels and apply them to the SDA leaders today:

·       The recreant priests added licentiousness to the dark catalogue of their crimes.

·       Yet they still polluted by their presence the tabernacle of the Lord.

·       And, laden with sin, dared to come into the presence of a holy God.

·       As the men of Israel witnessed the corrupt course of the priests, they thought it safer for their families not to come up to the appointed place of worship.

·       Many went from Shiloh with their peace disturbed, their indignation aroused, until they at last determined to offer their sacrifices themselves, concluding that this would be fully as acceptable to God, as to sanction in any manner the abominations practiced in the Sanctuary.

·       There are many abominations taking place in new movement Adventist sanctuaries today. There is the hideous celebration movement adapted from Vatican II. As in Jeremiah 11:15, the people rejoice (celebrate) as to do evil. There is a mixing of the sacred with the profane. There is a lack of reverence. In some churches there is the eating of donuts and drinking coffee in the sanctuary. There is sacrilegious talking and jesting. There is drama. There is music that is not of a sacred character. There is joking and jest from the pulpit. The announcements are often as long or longer than the sermon. There is a false gospel in addition to the true. There, the dumb-dog watchmen will NEVER AGAIN show the House of Jacob its sins. There are peace and safety sermons. There is ecumenical preacher swapping. There are sermons designed so as not to offend anyone. There is no crying aloud to show my people their sins, Isaiah 58:1. I have personally witnessed lewd skits of drama. There is an attitude that the church is thriving and all is well. There is Laodicean lukewarmness. There are the abominations cited in Ezekiel 8, for which reasons Ezekiel 9 will be literally fulfilled BEGINNING AT HIS SANCTUARIES AROUND THE WORLD, 5T, 211. There is hate for anyone who would reprove. Leaders stand in the gate deciding what the sheeple will have and not have. Those who are led of them are led to destruction, Isaiah 9:16. Leaders exude unbelief (5T 211). Some of them teach God did not create the earth in six days. But Ellen White says the worst sins, those which provoked the jealousy of the pure and holy God, were unrevealed. 5T 211. So things are far worse than we know. There are behind the scenes abominations taking place that we know nothing about.

·       They sacrificed at home. So in the COUNTERPART parallel, Ellen White is saying that the faithful will be doing the same thing at the end-time.

Jeremiah 11

9 “And the LORD said unto me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem. 10 They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers. 11 Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them. 12 Then shall the cities of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem go, and cry unto the gods unto whom they offer incense: but they shall not save them at all in the time of their trouble. 13 For according to the number of thy cities were thy gods, O Judah; and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem have ye set up altars to that shameful thing, even altars to burn incense unto Baal. 14 Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble. 15 What hath my beloved to do in mine house, seeing she [the church] hath wrought lewdness with many, and the holy flesh [God] is passed from thee? when thou doest evil, then thou rejoicest [Celebrates]. Jeremiah 11:9-15.

Now I will present solid proof absolute that the SDA church has committed unpardonable sin, as did the Jews in Shiloh. Ellen White said that there would be a counterpart to Jeremiah chapters 7 and 11. Here are her statements:

The SDA COUNTERPART FACTOR TO THE JEWS OF JEREMIAH CHAPTERS 7 AND 11

COUNTERPART: "The Lord commanded one of his ancient servants, 'Pray not thou for this people [Jer. 7:16 and 11:14], neither lift up cry nor prayer for them neither make intercession to me for I will not hear thee.' The prophet thus describes the sins which had called forth this fearful denunciation: 'The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means and my people love to have it so and what will ye do in the end thereof?' 'From the least of them even unto the greatest of them, every one is given to covetousness and from the prophet even unto the priest, every one dealeth falsely. They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace, when there is no peace.' The apostles declare that this state of things will find its COUNTERPART in the last days. Many have a form of godliness, but in their daily life deny the power thereof. They have ceased to be convicted of their sins or alarmed at their state. They say in their hearts, 'The church is flourishing. Peace and spiritual prosperity are within her borders.' The words of the prophet may well apply to these self-deceivers, 'They have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations. I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them." E. G. White, Second Advent Review and Sabbath Herald, 11-07-82.

"Shall the Lord be compelled to say, `Pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to Me: for I will not hear thee' [Jeremiah 7:16]? `Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain....Wilt thou not from this time cry unto Me, My Father, thou art the guide of my youth' [Jeremiah 3:3-4]?...
We are to be judged by the light that has been given us,(159) and we can find no excuse by which to extenuate our course."
Review and Herald, Vol. 3, p 69-70 (August 1, 1893). (Brackets by Ellen White)

COUNTERPART: "In the time of the Saviour, the Jews had so covered over the precious jewels of truth with the rubbish of tradition and fable, that it was impossible to distinguish the true from the false. The Saviour came to clear away the rubbish of superstition and long-cherished errors, and to set the jewels of God's word in the framework of truth. What would the Saviour do if he should come to us now as he did to the Jews? He would have to do a similar work in clearing away the rubbish of tradition and ceremony. The Jews were greatly disturbed when he did this work [As are SDAs today!]. They had lost sight of the original truth of God, but Christ brought it again to view. It is our work to free the precious truths of God from superstition and error." E.G. White,
Review and Herald, Vol. 2, 308.

The Lord commanded one of his ancient servants, "Pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them; neither make intercession to me; for I will not hear thee." The prophet thus describes the sins which had called forth this fearful denunciation: "The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so; and what will ye do in the end thereof?" "From the least of them even unto the greatest of them, every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the priest, every one dealeth falsely. They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace, when there is no peace." {RH, November 7, 1882 par. 8}

     The apostles declare that this state of things will find its counterpart in the last days. Many have a form of godliness, but in their daily life deny the power thereof. They have ceased to be convicted of their sins or alarmed at their state. They say in their hearts, "The church is flourishing. Peace and spiritual prosperity are within her borders." The words of the prophet may well apply to these self-deceivers, "They have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations. I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them." {RH, November 7, 1882 par. 9}

Who else but SDA’s could qualify as the COUNTERPART of the Jews when they both are “chosen people” who claim to keep the commandments of God and constitute a remnant?!

As the events of A.D. 27-70 were a prefigure of the destruction of the church and the world at the end-time, so the abominations of Jeremiah chapters 7 and 11 are a counterpart to how God will deal with new movement Adventists at the end-time. The Jews of that generation (Shiloh) were so abominable, that God told Jeremiah not to even pray for them, while Jesus Himself prayed for the Jews of His generation who crucified Him. This proves that God deals with His people on a generational basis and that the last generation of His people are worse than any other generation. A prime reason for this is because they had benefit of the example of the Jews of Shiloh and Jerusalem, and still did worse than their fathers says God.

Ezekiel chapter 5 says that Adventists at the end-time are worse than the nations around them. For this, God will make them a taunt, an instruction (example) and a reproach to the nations around them.

The context of Ezekiel 5 is established in verse 9, to wit:

Ezekiel 5

1
And thou, son of man, take thee a sharp knife, take thee a barber's razor, and cause it to pass upon thine head and upon thy beard: then take thee balances to weigh, and divide the hair. 2 Thou shalt burn with fire a third part in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and thou shalt take a third part, and smite about it with a knife: and a third part thou shalt scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them. 3 Thou shalt also take thereof a few in number, and bind them in thy skirts. 4 Then take of them again, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire; for thereof shall a fire come forth into all the house of Israel. 5 Thus saith the Lord GOD; This is Jerusalem: I have set it in the midst of the nations and countries that are round about her. 6 And she hath changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries that are round about her: for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them. 7 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye multiplied more than the nations that are round about you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that are round about you; 8 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations. 9 And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations. 10 Therefore the fathers shall eat the sons in the midst of thee, and the sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments in thee, and the whole remnant of thee will I scatter into all the winds. 11 Wherefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity. 12 A third part of thee shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of thee: and a third part shall fall by the sword round about thee; and I will scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them. 13 Thus shall mine anger be accomplished, and I will cause my fury to rest upon them, and I will be comforted: and they shall know that I the LORD have spoken it in my zeal, when I have accomplished my fury in them. 14 Moreover I will make thee waste, and a reproach among the nations that are round about thee, in the sight of all that pass by. 15 So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment unto the nations that are round about thee, when I shall execute judgments in thee in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I the LORD have spoken it. 16 When I shall send upon them the evil arrows of famine, which shall be for their destruction, and which I will send to destroy you: and I will increase the famine upon you, and will break your staff of bread: 17 So will I send upon you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave thee: and pestilence and blood shall pass through thee; and I will bring the sword upon thee. I the LORD have spoken it.

Compare Ezekiel verse 9 with Matthew 24:21. This comparison establishes the stark end-time context of Ezekiel 5:9.

21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. Matthew 24:21.

9 And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations. Ezekiel 5:9.

In Ezekiel 5:9, God proposes to do the worst thing the likes of which He has never done, and which He will never do again, because all of spiritual Jerusalem’s abominations.

Does Ellen White agree with Ezekiel that God’s end-time once “chosen people” are worse than any other people?

Worse than Babylon -- "God's professed people are selfish and self-caring....They are idolaters, and are worse, in the sight of God, than the heathen, graven-image worshippers who have had no knowledge of a better way." Testimonies, Vol. 2, 440-442.

“Then I was pointed back to the years 1843 and 1844. There was a spirit of consecration then that there is not now. What has come over the professed peculiar people of God? I saw the conformity to the world, the unwillingness to suffer for the truth's sake. I saw a great lack of submission to the will of God…”
“I saw that many who profess to believe the truth for these last days think it strange that the children of Israel murmured as they journeyed; that after the wonderful dealings of God with them, they should be so ungrateful as to forget what He had done for them. Said the angel: "Ye have done worse than they."
Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 1, p 128, 129.

“I was shown the conformity of some professed Sabbathkeepers to the world. Oh, I saw that it is a disgrace to their profession, a disgrace to the cause of God. They give the lie to their profession. They think they are not like the world, but they are so near like them in dress, in conversation, and actions, that there is no distinction…” “As I saw the dreadful fact that God's people were conformed to the world, with no distinction, except in name [nominally], between many of the professed disciples of the meek and lowly Jesus and unbelievers, my soul felt deep anguish. I saw that Jesus was wounded and put to an open shame. Said the angel, as with sorrow he saw the professed people of God loving the world, partaking of its spirit, and following its fashions: "Cut loose! Cut loose! lest He appoint you your portion with hypocrites and unbelievers outside the city. Your profession will only cause you greater anguish, and your punishment will be greater because ye knew His will, but did it not." Testimonies for the Church, Vol 1, pp. 131, 133.

Who Separates From Whom?

God is not calling anyone out of the Seventh-day Adventist church. God is calling true Seventh-day Adventists out of an imposter new movement, new organization, that separated itself from Him and His church. Here is the evidence you need:

The Prophesied Fall of The New Movement Professing Seventh-day Adventist Church That Separated From God

'The enemy of souls has sought to bring in the supposition that a great reformation was to take place among Seventh-day Adventists, and that this reformation would consist in giving up the doctrines which stand as the pillars of our faith, and engaging in a process of  reorganization. Were this reformation to take place, what would result? The principles of truth that God in His wisdom has given to the remnant church, would be discarded. Our religion would be changed. The fundamental principles that have sustained the work for the last fifty years would be accounted as error. A new organization would be established. Books of a new order would be written. A system of intellectual philosophy would be introduced. The founders of this system would go into the cities, and do a wonderful work. The Sabbath, of course, would be lightly regarded, as also the God who created it. Nothing would be allowed to stand in the way of the new movement. The leaders would teach that virtue is better than vice, but God being removed, they would place their dependence on human power, which, without God, is worthless. Selected Messages, Book 1, pp. 204, 205.

"Jesus sends HIS PEOPLE a message of warning to prepare them for his coming. To the prophet John was made known the closing work in the great plan of man's redemption. He beheld an angel flying 'in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel [CONTEXT: The three angel’s messages commissioned to SDA’s] to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him for the hour of his Judgment is come and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters [Rev. 14:6, 7.].

The angel represented in prophecy as delivering this message,  symbolizes a class of faithful men, who, obedient to the promptings of God's Spirit and the teachings of his word, proclaim this warning to the inhabitants of earth. This message was not to be committed to the religious leaders of the people. They had failed to preserve their connection with God, and had REFUSED THE LIGHT FROM HEAVEN therefore they WERE NOT of the number described by the apostle Paul: 'But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day we are not of the night nor of darkness' [1 Thess. 5:4, 5].

The watchmen upon the walls of Zion should be the first to catch the tidings of the Saviour's advent, the first to lift their voices to proclaim him near, the first to warn the people to prepare for his coming. But they were at ease, dreaming of peace and safety, while the people were asleep in their sins. Jesus saw HIS CHURCH, like the barren fig-tree, covered with pretentious leaves, yet destitute of precious fruit. There was a boastful observance of the forms of religion, while the spirit of true humility, penitence and faith--which alone could render the service acceptable to God--was lacking. Instead of the graces of the Spirit, there were manifested pride, formalism, vainglory, selfishness, oppression. A BACKSLIDING CHURCH closed their eyes to the signs of the times. God did nor forsake them, or suffer his faithfulness to fail but they departed from him, and SEPARATED THEMSELVES from his love. As they REFUSED TO COMPLY WITH THE CONDITIONS, his promises were NOT FULFILLED to them."  E.G. White, The Spirit of Prophecy,  Vol. 4, pp. 199-200, which is the 1884 edition of The Great Controversy.

Need I proffer more evidence? Only a very foolish virgin would require more. But they are legion and even if an angel from heaven raised one from the grave in their sight, they would not believe.
