This July 9, 2011, I had a very pronounced vision in answer to prayer that God show me straight and profound evidence on another coming out from professing apostate, new movement Seventh-day Adventism. I was taken into a deep state of trance and shown that the following evidence has been cloaked in a manner that would keep apostate leaders from discerning and muddying the waters on the fact of another coming out, just as many prophesies of Scripture are cloaked in symbol for the very same reason. Thus, they are stumbling stones for all who do not search as for hidden treasure.

I was shown that if such leaders saw the implications of the facts I was shown, such information would have been kept from the people in an effort to deceive God’s people as to a proper course when the apostasy should increase to a certain level of harlotry.

The following facts demand another coming out of a faithful remnant and these facts are based on type-antitype and prefigure/counterpart history of ancient Israel. I have touched on these facets in the past but never as to how directly they imply and demand another coming out of a final faithful remnant from modern-day spiritual Jerusalem, omega of apostasy, new movement, new organization Adventism.

I have shown Ellen White’s counterpart statements. I have shown Ellen White’s statements on Ezekiel 9, as to how Ezekiel 9 will have another literal fulfillment “to the letter.” But God has shown me additional facets to these elements that prove beyond any doubt that there is another coming out without constituting another church, but rather maintaining the original intended SDA church. First the counterpart statements:

COUNTERPART: "The Lord commanded one of his ancient servants, 'Pray not thou for this people [Jer. 7:16 and 11:9-15], neither lift up cry nor prayer for them neither make intercession to me for I will not hear thee.' The prophet thus describes the sins which had called forth this fearful denunciation: 'The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means and my people love to have it so and what will ye do in the end thereof?' 'From the least of them even unto the greatest of them, every one is given to covetousness and from the prophet even unto the priest, every one dealeth falsely. They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace, when there is no peace.' The apostles declare that this state of things will find its COUNTERPART in the last days. Many have a form of godliness, but in their daily life deny the power thereof. They have ceased to be convicted of their sins or alarmed at their state. They say in their hearts, 'The church is flourishing. Peace and spiritual prosperity are within her borders.' The words of the prophet may well apply to these self-deceivers, 'They have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations. I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them." E. G. White, Second Advent Review and Sabbath Herald,  11-07-82.

·       The words: “Pray not thou for this people” refer to God’s chosen people THEN AND NOW.

·       Further, the words “the daughter of my people” refer to God’s people THEN AND NOW.

·       God is speaking to Jerusalem, Zion, His bride, which we will see in Jeremiah 11.

·       God’s people are Zion. Zion has sons and daughters, Isaiah 62. Zion is the bride that is married. Ibid. She is the 144,000 that follows Christ wherever He goes. He is the high priest in the heavenly Temple during the millennium. Philadelphia, New Jerusalem, the bride, go into that temple as pillars (leaders) Rev. 3:10-12. Ellen White says that only the 144,000 enter the Temple on Mt. Zion, Early Writings, 19.

"Shall the Lord be compelled to say, ‘Pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to Me: for I will not hear thee’ [Jeremiah 7:16]? ‘Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain....Wilt thou not from this time cry unto Me, My Father, thou art the guide of my youth’ [Jeremiah 3:3-4]?...

We are to be judged by the light that has been given us,(159) and we can find no excuse by which to extenuate our course." Review and Herald, Vol. 3, p 69-70 (August 1, 1893). (Brackets by Ellen White)

COUNTERPART: "In the time of the Saviour, the Jews had so covered over the precious jewels of truth with the rubbish of tradition and fable, that it was impossible to distinguish the true from the false. The Saviour came to clear away the rubbish of superstition and long-cherished errors, and to set the jewels of God's word in the framework of truth. What would the Saviour do if he should come to us now as he did to the Jews? He would have to do a similar work in clearing away the rubbish of tradition and ceremony. The Jews were greatly disturbed when he did this work [As are SDAs today!]. They had lost sight of the original truth of God, but Christ brought it again to view. It is our work to free the precious truths of God from superstition and error." E.G. WhiteReview and Herald, Vol. 2, 308.

The Lord commanded one of his ancient servants, "Pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them; neither make intercession to me; for I will not hear thee." The prophet thus describes the sins which had called forth this fearful denunciation: "The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so; and what will ye do in the end thereof?" "From the least of them even unto the greatest of them, every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the priest, every one dealeth falsely. They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace, when there is no peace." {RH, November 7, 1882 par. 8}

     The apostles declare that this state of things will find its counterpart in the last days. Many have a form of godliness, but in their daily life deny the power thereof. They have ceased to be convicted of their sins or alarmed at their state. They say in their hearts, "The church is flourishing. Peace and spiritual prosperity are within her borders." The words of the prophet may well apply to these self-deceivers, "They have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations. I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them." {RH, November 7, 1882 par. 9}

Another Coming Out Proof #1: There is an ancient parallel with Israel’s experience in regard to another coming out at the end times.  That ancient parallel is called a counterpart to Israel’s experience in Jeremiah chapters 7 and 11. While reading these chapters, keep in acute memory the fact that Ellen White said that the words “Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee” will have a counterpart application to God’s chosen people at the end-time. I have pointed that fact out many times, but there are additional elements involving another coming out that the Lord showed me in this vision that provide the absolute proof of another coming out.

OBJECTIVE: Our objective in reviewing these verses and Ellen Whites statements regarding their content is to see if there was any evidence of a coming out when these verses were written.

Jeremiah 7

 1The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,

 2Stand in the gate of the LORD's house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of the LORD, all ye of Judah, that enter in at these gates to worship the LORD.

 3Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.

 4Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, are these.

 5For if ye throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour;

 6If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt:

 7Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever.

 8Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit.

 9Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not;

 10And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations?

 11Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the LORD.

 12But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I set my name at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel.

 13And now, because ye have done all these works, saith the LORD, and I spake unto you, rising up early and speaking, but ye heard not; and I called you, but ye answered not;

 14Therefore will I do unto this house, which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh.

·    This is of critical import. Let’s see what happened in Shiloh?

"The recreant priests added licentiousness to the dark catalogue of their crimes yet they still polluted by their presence the tabernacle of the Lord, and, laden with sin, dared to come into the presence of a holy God. As the men of Israel witnessed the corrupt course of the priests, they thought it safer for their families not to come up to the appointed place of worship. Many went from Shiloh with their peace disturbed, their indignation aroused, until they at last determined to offer their sacrifices themselves, concluding that this would be fully as acceptable to God, as to sanction in any manner the abominations practiced in the Sanctuary." E.G. White, The Signs of the Times, vol. 1, p. 264, col. 3, December 1, 1881.

·    The leaders (priests) added licentiousness to their dark catalogue of abominations.

·    The men of Israel (members of the Sanctuary church) thought it safer to offer sacrifices THEMSELVES at home rather than to sanction in any manner the abominations practiced in the Sanctuary.

·    Thus, in this TYPE of the COUNTERPART, there was a coming out just as Isaiah 37:31, 32 prophesied.

·    Because this type is COUNTERPARTED (antityped) at the end-time according to the apostles and Ellen White, there has to be another coming out or it would not be a COUNTERPART.

·    If it was proper to not sanction in any manner the abominations by the priests in the Sanctuary in the type, then it is only proper to follow the same course in the antitype, the counterpart fulfillment.

·    CRUCIAL FACT: I was instructed to stress the crucial fact that there was a coming out way back in the time of Shiloh which was the first civilized settlement of the Jews after coming out of their 40 years sojourn in the Sinai desert, and that this coming out was a type for the coming out at the end-time COUNTERPART (anti-type) of this ancient coming out.

·    Ellen White was clearly teaching another coming out in her “recreant priest” statement above, which relates directly to Jeremiah chapters 7 and 11.

·    Ellen White was clearly teaching another coming out in her COUNTERPART statements, for in the type of the COUNTERPART, there was a coming out. The voice of the bride was GONE. Faithful men and their families were GONE.

 15And I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim.

 16Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee.

 17Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

 18The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.

 19Do they provoke me to anger? saith the LORD: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces?

 20Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, mine anger and my fury shall be poured out upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and upon the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be quenched.

 21Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Put your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat flesh.

 22For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices:

 23But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.

 24But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.

 25Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day I have even sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them:

 26Yet they hearkened not unto me, nor inclined their ear, but hardened their neck: they did worse than their fathers.

 27Therefore thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee.

 28But thou shalt say unto them, This is a nation that obeyeth not the voice of the LORD their God, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.

 29Cut off thine hair, O Jerusalem, and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on high places; for the LORD hath rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath.

 30For the children of Judah have done evil in my sight, saith the LORD: they have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to pollute it.

 31And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart.

 32Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be called Tophet, nor the valley of the son of Hinnom, but the valley of slaughter: for they shall bury in Tophet, till there be no place.

 33And the carcases of this people shall be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth; and none shall fray them away.

 34Then will I cause to cease from the cities of Judah, and from the streets of Jerusalem, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride: for the land shall be desolate. Jeremiah 7:1-34.

·    We see in verse 34 the fact that Christ’s presence (the bridegroom) is GONE. Ellen White says in The Upward Look, 315, that only Christ’s presence can constitute a church.

·    When apostasy causes Christ’s presence to cease, there are only two masters and the only one then present is Satan. The once church then becomes the Synagogue of Satan.

·    If the voice of the bride is ceased from the cities (churches) of Judah, where did the bride go?

·    Isaiah 37:31, 32 tells us where the bride goes—OUT OF JERUSALEM, to wit:

  31And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward:

 32For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.

·       In the type of the COUNTERPART, the remnant bride went forth out of Jerusalem.

·       Any antitypical COUNTERPART demands a same going forth out of Jerusalem.

Jeremiah 11

 1The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD saying,

 2Hear ye the words of this covenant, and speak unto the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem;

 3And say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel; Cursed be the man that obeyeth not the words of this covenant,

 4Which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, Obey my voice, and do them, according to all which I command you: so shall ye be my people, and I will be your God:

 5That I may perform the oath which I have sworn unto your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it is this day. Then answered I, and said, So be it, O LORD.

 6Then the LORD said unto me, Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, Hear ye the words of this covenant, and do them.

 7For I earnestly protested unto your fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, even unto this day, rising early and protesting, saying, Obey my voice.

 8Yet they obeyed not, nor inclined their ear, but walked every one in the imagination of their evil heart: therefore I will bring upon them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do: but they did them not.

 9And the LORD said unto me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

 10They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers.

 11Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them.

 12Then shall the cities of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem go, and cry unto the gods unto whom they offer incense: but they shall not save them at all in the time of their trouble.

 13For according to the number of thy cities were thy gods, O Judah; and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem have ye set up altars to that shameful thing, even altars to burn incense unto Baal.

 14Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble.

 15What hath my beloved to do in mine house, seeing she hath wrought lewdness with many, and the holy flesh is passed from thee? when thou doest evil, then thou rejoicest.

 16The LORD called thy name, A green olive tree, fair, and of goodly fruit: with the noise of a great tumult he hath kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken.

 17For the LORD of hosts, that planted thee, hath pronounced evil against thee, for the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done against themselves to provoke me to anger in offering incense unto Baal.

 18And the LORD hath given me knowledge of it, and I know it: then thou shewedst me their doings.

 19But I was like a lamb or an ox that is brought to the slaughter; and I knew not that they had devised devices against me, saying, Let us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered.

 20But, O LORD of hosts, that judgest righteously, that triest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I revealed my cause.

 21Therefore thus saith the LORD of the men of Anathoth, that seek thy life, saying, Prophesy not in the name of the LORD, that thou die not by our hand:

 22Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will punish them: the young men shall die by the sword; their sons and their daughters shall die by famine:

 23And there shall be no remnant of them: for I will bring evil upon the men of Anathoth, even the year of their visitation. Jeremiah 11:9-23.

·    Verse 15 proves that the beloved (the bride) the faithful remnant were admonished they had nothing to do in God’s house, His Sanctuary because of all the evil abominations: “What hath my beloved to do in mine house, seeing she hath wrought lewdness with many, and the holy flesh is passed from thee? when thou doest evil, then thou rejoicest.” Jer. 11:15.The Holy Flesh (Christ) had passed from the apostate Sanctuary.

·    If Christ was gone, Satan was the leader there. That is why Jesus called the apostate Jewish church the Synagogue of Satan and said they were of their father the devil.

Another Coming Out Proof #2: Ellen White totally implied another coming out when she said that Ezekiel 9 would have another literal “to the letter” fulfillment. Here is another type—antitype example we are to follow at the end-time. God would not leave something so important to any lesser type of examples of proof for another coming out than the two examples of type-antitype—counterpart history to follow.

What occurred in the last literal fulfillment of Ezekiel 9?:

·       Ezekiel 9 could not be fulfilled until Israel’s 490 years of probation (Daniel 9) was fulfilled in A.D. 34.

·       In A.D. 27, the first act of Jesus was to “gather out” those (the disciples) who would take the gospel to the world. Desire of Ages, p. 232.

·       The disciples were the bride of Christ, Desire of Ages, 179.

·       When Israel’s probation ended in A.D. 34, the disciples made two calls to come out of the apostate Temple church. Matthew 22:1-10.

·       The disciples were treated spitefully and all but one were killed. Matthew 22:1-10.

·       Then the Lord let their murderous city (Jerusalem) and the Temple be destroyed by the Romans. That was the literal fulfillment of Ezekiel 9.

·       The Great Controversy, Chapter 1, p. 25, calls what occurred relative to the destruction and the events leading up to that destruction as a prefigure of the terrors of the last days.

·       Matthew 22:7 is the literal fulfillment of Ezekiel 9 THEN and FUTURE.

·       In sequence, destruction of the murderous city (spiritual Jerusalem—apostate Adventism) occurs before the final loud cry to the world.

·       Ellen White reapplies Matthew 22:1-10 with verse 7 specifically cited, to the end time in Sermons and Talks, Vol. 1, pp. 4-9 and no one could dispute that verse 7 was fulfilled in A.D. 70 as the literal fulfillment of Ezekiel 9.

·       There were two calls to come out of apostate JERUSALEM in Matthew 22:1-10. So it is with spiritual Jerusalem, apostate Seventh-day Adventism (spiritual Jerusalem).

·       Isaiah 37:31, 32 applied in the last literal fulfillment of Jerusalem.  So it must apply in the antitypical literal fulfillment. This is irrefutable proof of another coming out.

·       Coming out of an apostate church to maintain the true, original, intended church, does not in any way constitute “another church.”

·       We have the type of early Israel’s experience at Shiloh, Jeremiah Chapters 7 and 11, which involved a coming out.

·       We have the type of later Israel (after 490 years of probation), of two calls out (Matt. 22) which ended in the destruction of all who did not come out. So it will be in the antitype of those two calls which are fully involved with any future literal fulfillment of Ezekiel 9 and Matthew 22:1-10.

There could be no more solid based warning for another coming out by the Bible and Ellen White, than two TYPES fulfilled upon apostate Israel as a lesson book and prefigure as to the prophesied second literal fulfillment of Ezekiel 9, whereby men, maidens and little children will be slaughtered without mercy beginning at His Sanctuary, His church, because of gross, abominable apostasy involving a return to the iniquities of our forefathers (fallen Babylon) via ecumenical association, council/counsel, girding and conspiracy/confederacy with them. This is the incense to Baal. SDA Pastor Dwight K. Nelson saying that Adventists worship the same god as the Muslims, Allah, is offering incense to Baal. SDA students bowing down to Allah in an Islamic mosque is offering incense to Baal and every member of the church who supports it by membership and with tithes and offerings AFTER KNOWING OF THE APOSTASY, is responsible for such abominations for which we are to sigh and cry.

"There are fearful woes for those who preach the truth, but are not sanctified by it, and also for those who consent to receive and maintain the unsanctified to minister to them in word and doctrine." Testimonies, vol. 1, p 261-62.

“Who are standing in the counsel of God at this time? Is it those who virtually excuse wrongs among the professed people of God, and murmur in their hearts, if not openly, against those who would reprove sin? It is those who take their stand against them, and sympathize with those who commit wrong?--No, indeed! These, unless they repent, and leave the work of Satan in oppressing those who have the burden of the work, and in holding up the hands of sinners in Zion, will never receive the mark of God's sealing approval. They will fall in the general destruction of all the wicked, represented by the five men bearing slaughter weapons. Mark this point with care; those who receive the pure mark of truth, wrought in them by the power of the Holy Ghost, represented by the man in linen, are those "that sigh and cry for all the abominations that are done" in the church. Their love for purity and the honor and glory of God is such, and they have so clear a view of the exceeding sinfulness of sin, that they are represented as being in an agony, even sighing and crying.” {RH, June 8, 1886 par. 2}

     But the general slaughter of all those who do not thus see the wide contrast between sin and righteousness, and do not feel as those do who stand in the counsel of God and receive the mark, is described in the order to the five men with slaughter weapons: "Go ye after him through the city, and smite; let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity; slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women; but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary." {RH, June 8, 1886 par. 3}

     God said to Joshua (in the case of Achan's sins), "Neither will I be with you any more except ye destroy the accursed from among you." How does this instance compare with the course pursued by those who will not raise their voice against sin and wrong; but whose sympathies are ever found with those who trouble the camp of Israel with their sins? Said God to Joshua, "Thou canst not stand before thine enemies until ye take away the accursed thing from among you." He pronounced the punishment which should follow the transgression of his covenant. {RH, June 8, 1886 par. 4}

"Most startling messages will be borne by men of God's appointment, messages of a character to WARN the people, to AROUSE them. And while some will be PROVOKED by the warning, and led to RESIST LIGHT AND EVIDENCE, we are to see from this that we are giving the TESTING MESSAGE FOR THIS TIME. Messages will be given OUT OF THE USUAL ORDER." Testimonies, vol. 9, p. 136.

"Christ has plainly taught that those who persist in open sin must be separated from the church..." E. G. White,  Christ's Object Lessons, 71.

Open sin is not being separated from the church for the reason that the leaders are the ring-leaders in the apostasy. They will allow nothing to stand in the way of their new movement, new organization, that has removed God. 1SM 204-205.

"The plain straight testimony must live in the church, or the curse of God will rest upon His people as surely as it did upon ancient Israel because of their sins. God holds His people, as a body [corporately], responsible for the sins existing in individuals among them." Testimonies, vol. 3, p. 269.

"The names of those who sin and refuse to repent should not be retained on the church books, lest the saints be held accountable for their evil deeds. Those who pursue a course of transgression should be visited and labored with, and if they then refuse to repent, they should be separated from church fellowship, in accordance with the rules laid down in the Word of God." {11MR 208.3}

Some try to Rationalize SDA Apostasy and Corporate Responsibility Using the Example of Solomon

Yes indeed, some are pointing back to the apostasy of Solomon in an effort to excuse and rationalize new movement Adventism’s apostate associations with Babylon, contending that if Solomon will be pardoned and saved, so will Adventists who imbibe the same errors. This is like saying we can take 700 wives and 300 concubines and still be saved. This is like saying we can ignore Solomon’s example and repeat his errors imperviously. This is like saying that we can ignore the lesson book of all Israel’s history and repeat it imperviously! That is very foolish reasoning.

I was prompted to point out that God allowed and winked at some early apostasies like Solomon’s that such might serve as a lesson book for all following peoples, and that we should never point to their apostasy and God’s forgiveness of them to excuse apostasy now and teach that it will be without Ezekiel 9 consequences. That lie is being taught by some very foolish virgins who think they are Seventh-day Adventists.

I was shown that God permitted the example of Solomon to demonstrate the truth that when God’s people mingle themselves with the pagan, it is the pagans who corrupt God’s people. At first, Solomon thought he could convert his pagan wives, just as Adventist leaders have thought they could convert Babylonians by mingling with them and eating and drinking with the drunken, but that does not work as a methodology for conversion and Solomon, the wisest of men who ever lived, proved that fact more abundantly than any other person in history.

There is no record that Solomon converted even one of his pagan wives, but rather they converted him. It is interesting that the first SDA representative sent to Babylon’s councils, Dr. Earle Hilgert, was converted by them and now functions as a Presbyterian Minister. This should be remembered when SDA new movement leaders rationalize their associations, council/counsel, girding and confederacies with Babylon, by saying they might thereby influence and convert them to the truth. That has never happened even once in the history of new movement involvement in Satan’s ecumenical movement, the sole purpose of which is to bring all churches into one global church with one day of worship.

Because we have Solomon’s example, we are not to use his apostasies to excuse making similar errors in judgment and that such rationalizing will not be acceptable to God in the judgment.

Some try to say that corporate responsibility is not a fact despite Bible evidence and Ellen White’s statements to the contrary. They cite what occurred with Solomon and Elijah on Mt. Carmel to imply that corporate responsibility is a farce. Solomon’s experience was indeed a lesson book for all men. That is why God treated him differently. However, his wives and concubines will be lost.

It is evident from this document that way back at the time of Shiloh, Jews were sacrificing on their own because of the apostasy at the temple. God showed me that this is why some were spared at various times when many were slain because of apostasy. In every generation God has had a remnant who withdrew themselves from the prevailing iniquity of apostasy and were thus not corporately responsible. But God demonstrated the principle of corporate responsibility in the case of Achan, and God does not change.

Elijah destroyed the prophets of Baal on Mt. Carmel. The people were spared because they had been led into the apostasy by apostate leaders, but they promptly repented. Moses killed off all apostates who would not repent. That is how the theocracy of Israel was kept free from open sin and sinners. However, the remedy changed with the coming of Christ. He separated from a religion of ceremonies and gathered out those who would take the gospel to the world. Desire of Ages, 232.
