My Vision on The Remnant
of
Her
Seed Versus the Seed
Rev 12:17 And the dragon was
wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed,

Before retiring for the day on Friday, June
3, 2011, I prayed that God would give me fodder for His sheep because they
are not being fed by the shepherds and they are starving for spiritual food.
In the early a.m. of Sabbath, the 4th, I was shown that I should
stress the following truths concerning the remnant, delivered primarily in
the form of questions that should be seriously considered and answered by
God’s people. And since this is the “fast” everything age, this is going to
be relatively short shrift but right to the point and not short on acuity.
This evidence is historical fact that cannot be refuted, yet most of God’s
people will reject it, be destroyed and forever lost as was the case with His
first chosen people. A
Chosen People Should be, but are not the Remnant God elected the Jews to be His chosen, holy,
special people unto Himself, because they believed in one God. But were they
His remnant people? Deu 7:6 For thou [art] an
holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a
special people unto himself, above all people that [are] upon the face of the
earth. Adventists were elected by God to be His
called out, holy, special chosen people. But are they God’s final remnant
people? A simple device which Jesus often employed
in dealing with His wayward people, the Jews, was to ask them questions, the
proper answer to which would expose their erroneous concepts. The Holy Spirit
has prompted me to pose the following questions to professing Seventh-day
Adventists. The answers will appear further down from the questions: 1.
God’s Word says the Jews were elected by God Almighty as His
chosen, special, holy people. Were all Jews saved as the remnant, chosen
people of God? Were they all special, holy and saved? 2.
Did all Jews accept the counsel God sent to them through His prophets? 3.
Did Christ’s disciples accept the counsel sent to them through
His prophets? 4.
Did Jesus gather out His disciples from the rest of Jewry? Did
Paul gather out His disciples from the rest of Jewry? 5.
Who was the true remnant, the true Jerusalem, the true church
of God, after Jesus gathered out the disciples? Were the chosen people the seed, and the
final gathered out from them the remnant
of the (her) seed? Would it be a serious error to confuse the remnant with the
original seed? Did many Jews do just that? 6.
Where was the headquarters of Jesus and His disciples? Was it
in Jerusalem as well? Which was true Jerusalem—the apostate Jewish Temple or
the headquarters of Jesus’ disciples? Which was true Zion? (See Isaiah 4:1-4 and
interpret so these verses do not contradict Isaiah 37:31, 32.) 7.
In A.D. 34, which was the close of the 490 years of probation
for the Jews, had they put away all sin per God’s instruction in Daniel 9? 8.
Did the disciples begin to gather the believers in Jesus out
of the Jewish Temple church in A.D. 34? Answer in Matthew 22:1-10. 9.
Did Isaiah prophesy that a remnant would go forth out of
Jerusalem? Isaiah 37:31, 32? Was that prophecy fulfilled in A.D. 66, when 3 ½
years before Jerusalem was destroyed, all Christian Jews fled to the Pella? 10.
Three and one half years after the Jews fled to Pella, God’s
once chosen, special and holy people and their Temple were destroyed by the
Romans. 11.
Was all of the above a LITERAL fulfillment of Ezekiel 9? 12.
Could Israel be marked by the man in linen, Ezekiel 9, before
their 490 years probation of Daniel 9 was over in A.D. 34? 13.
Does God’s Word says Ezekiel 9 will be literally fulfilled again? 14.
Is Ezekiel 5:9 commensurate with Matthew 24:21? 15.
Does Ellen White say that Ezekiel 9 will be literally fulfilled
again? 16.
Could Ezekiel 9 be literally fulfilled again without an Isaiah
37:31, 32 going forth out of Jerusalem as Jesus, the disciples, Paul, and all
true Christians literally left the apostate Jewish church from A.D. 27-66, at
which time they fled to Pella? 17.
Did the A.D. 27-66 literal fulfillment
of Ezekiel 9 involve a literal sanctuary
Temple church, that was literally levelled to
the ground as Jesus had prophesied? 18.
Would a future literal fulfillment
of
Ezekiel
9 also have to involve a literal sanctuary
Temple church that is literally levelled to
the ground? Would such a fulfillment be literal
if
this did not occur? 19.
Does God’s Word instruct in Ezekiel 9 that the destroying
angels begin at His Sanctuary? Does Ellen White agree with God’s Word by
saying it will begin at His Sanctuary, 5T 211? 20.
If all the bad leave the church militant so that it remains as
the church triumphant, why would Ezekiel 9 begin at the church? 21.
Did all the bad Jews leave the apostate church militant Temple
to constitute it as the church triumphant? Would Ezekiel 9 in the future be
true to its past literal fulfillment, if all the bad leave the SDA church?
Will all who remain in the apostate SDA Jerusalem meet with the same fate as
those who remained in apostate Jerusalem of old in the first literal fulfillment of Ezekiel 9? Ellen
White clearly states in The Great Controversy, p. 25, 1911, edition,
that the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. was a PREFIGURE of the
destruction of the last great day and in Testimonies, Vol. 5, p. 222, she
says this destruction begins at His Sanctuary (spiritual Jerusalem), because
judgment begins at the House of God. Prefigure means TYPE, which demands a
similar ANTITYPICAL FULFILLMENT and Ellen White went
further to label this fulfillment as being LITERAL. So all we have to do is
go back to the TYPE, THE PREFIGURE and see what happened then, and any other
interpretation would make Ellen White a false prophet and most SDA’s teach
that “other interpretation” which indeed makes Ellen White and God’s Word
(Ezekiel 5, 9 and 22) false testimony. In
the Prefigure Type: a)
Who left who then? The good left the Bad. b)
Where were the tares gathered? Into the Midst of Jerusalem, the apostate
church, Ezekiel 22:17-31. c)
Was there a primitive revival of the Jewish people? Yes! Where did it take
place? Within the apostate Jewish Church, or outside it? Obviously outside
it, Desire of Ages, 232, or it would not have been destroyed had the
revival occurred inside the Jewish church! d)
Who/Where was True Zion, from whence the sinners were shaken? Was it the
apostate Jewish Organization, or was it from the reformer church of Jesus and
the disciples? e)
Did the Jewish people leave the apostate Jewish church long before
persecution began; long before what Ellen White equates with the Sunday
Law—the arrival of Roman troops on Jewish soil—the abomination of desolation?
(5T 451, 464). Yes, they began to leave when Jesus "gathered out"
those (the gathered out disciples)
who would take the gospel to the world. Desire of Ages, 232, and even
long before this according to the following statement by Ellen White: "The recreant priests added licentiousness to the dark
catalogue of their crimes yet they still polluted by their presence the
tabernacle of the Lord, and, laden with sin, dared to come into the presence
of a holy God. As the men of Israel witnessed the corrupt course of the
priests, they thought it safer for their families not to come up to the
appointed place of worship. Many went from Shiloh with their peace disturbed,
their indignation aroused, until they at last determined to offer their
sacrifices themselves, concluding that this would be fully as acceptable to
God, as to sanction in any manner the abominations practiced in the
Sanctuary." E.G. White, The Signs of the Times, vol. 1, p. 264, col. 3,
December 1, 1881. f)
Is it erroneous for current day SDA’s to conclude that the Sunday Law is the
only time the wheat will be separated from the dross? Yes, because in the
prefigure type, the faithful Jews were separated from the dross from A.D.
27-66, at which time they fled to Pella. The Sunday Law is the final test
that separates all wheat from all dross in all churches, but we are
responsible for truth when we hear it and we are corporately responsible for
apostasy if we remain when the church does not take a correct response and
remove it because it is impossible to remain with the corrupt and mature as
wheat: "It is IMPOSSIBLE for you
to unite with those who are corrupt, and still remain pure. (II Corinthians
6:14-15 quoted). God and Christ and the heavenly host would have men know
that if he unites with the corrupt he will become corrupt." E. G. White,
Review and Herald, Vol. 4, p. 137.
Did Ellen White Ever Advise
Leaving – Did She Ever Leave? “I
have a work to do, and I am now making decisions. I must remain away from
conference meetings. I must not attend camp meetings. The spirit of drawing
apart, as the result of judging one another, has become so common, and the
churches are becoming so leavened with this spirit, that I have no desire to
attend these meetings. After returning from them, it is often weeks before I
am able to take up my neglected work. Because those in positions
of responsibility have for years left the Southern field unworked,
notwithstanding the most decided testimonies urging them to take up this work
because they continue to neglect this field and use every manner of device in
trying to uproot the confidence of the people in those who have done the
hardest and most self-sacrificing work in the South, I have but very little
confidence that the Lord is giving these men in positions of responsibility
spiritual eyesight and heavenly discernment. I am thrown into perplexity over
their course and I desire now to attend to my special work, to have no part in any of their councils,
and to attend no camp-meetings, nigh nor afar off. My mind shall not be
dragged into confusion by the tendency they manifest to work directly
contrary to the light that God has given me. I am done. I will preserve my
God-given intelligence.” (17MR 64.2&3) "Even though you may
not be able to speak a word to those who are working on wrong principles,
leave them. Your withdrawal and silence may do more than words. Nehemiah
refused to associate with those who were untrue to principle, and he would
not permit his workmen to associate with them. The love and fear of God were
his safeguard-Dare to be a Daniel, Dare to stand alone. Thus as did Moses,
you will endure the seeing of Him who is invisible. But a cowardly and silent
reserve before evil associates, while you listen to their devices makes you
one with them Come out from among them and be separate, saith
the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and will
be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty." Review & Herald
Vol. 4, p. 42. Fear
and Shun "'They that forsake the law praise the wicked.' Proverbs 28:4.
When those who are uniting with the world, yet claiming great purity, plead
for union with those who have ever been the opposers
of the cause of truth, we should fear and shun them as decidedly as did
Nehemiah. Such counsel is prompted by the enemy of all good. It is the speech
of timeservers, and should be resisted as resolutely today as then. Whatever
influence would tend to unsettle the faith of God' people in His guiding
power, should be steadfastly withstood." E.G. White, Prophets and
Kings, p. 660. "We should never give
sanction to sin by our words, our deeds, our silence or our presence." Desire of Ages, 152. "There
is a little hope in one direction: Take the young men and women, and place
them where they will come as little in contact with our churches as possible,
that the low grade of piety which is current in this day shall not leaven their ideas of what it means to be a
Christian." E.G. White, Manuscript Release #995, p. 5. "Brother
and sister Haskell have rented a house in one of the best parts of the city,
and have gathered round them a family of helpers, who day by day go out giving
Bible readings, selling our papers, and doing medical missionary work. During
the hour of worship, the workers relate their experiences. Bible studies are
regularly conducted in the home, and THE YOUNG MEN AND YOUNG WOMEN connected
with the mission receive a practical, thorough training in holding Bible
readings and in selling our publications. The Lord has blessed their labors, a number have embraced the truth, and many others
are deeply interested." Review and Herald, September 7, 1905, Evangelism,
p. 108. Jesus left "Christ
was a protestant...The Reformers date back to Christ and the apostles. They
came out and separated themselves from a religion of forms and ceremonies.
Luther and his followers did not invent the reformed religion. They simply
accepted it as presented by Christ and the apostles." E.G. White, Review
and Herald, vol. 2, 48, col. 2. Paul left “And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months,
disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God. 9But when divers were hardened, and
believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed
from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus.” Acts 19:8, 9. “Fearing
that the faith of the believers would be endangered by continued association
with these opposers of the truth, Paul separated from them, and gathered the disciples
into a distinct body.” E.G. White, Acts of the Apostles, p. 285, 286. "The
recreant priests added licentiousness to the dark catalogue of their crimes
yet they still polluted by their presence the tabernacle of the Lord, and,
laden with sin, dared to come into the presence of a holy God. As the men of
Israel witnessed the corrupt course of the priests, they thought it safer for
their families not to come up to the appointed place of worship. Many went
from Shiloh with their peace disturbed, their indignation aroused, until they
at last determined to offer their sacrifices themselves, concluding that this
would be fully as acceptable to God, as to sanction in any manner the
abominations practiced in the Sanctuary." E.G. White, The Signs of
the Times,
vol. 1, p. 264, col. 3, December 1, 1881. "The
Sanhedrin had rejected Christ's message and was bent upon His death therefore
Jesus departed from Jerusalem, from
the priests, the temple, the religious leaders, the people who had been
instructed in the law, and turned to another class to proclaim His message,
and to gather out those who should carry the gospel to all nations. As
the light and life of men was rejected by the ecclesiastical authorities in
the days of Christ, so it has been rejected in every succeeding generation.
Again and again the history of Christ's withdrawal from Judea has been
repeated. When the Reformers preached the word of God, they had no thought of
separating themselves from the established church but the religious leaders
would not tolerate the light, and those that bore it were forced to seek
another class, who were longing for the truth. In our day few of the
professed followers of the Reformers are actuated by their spirit. Few are
listening for the voice of God, and ready to accept truth in whatever guise
it may be presented. Often those who follow in the steps of the Reformers are
forced to turn away from the churches they love, in order to declare the
plain teaching of the word of God. And many times those who are seeking for
light are by the same teaching obliged to leave the church of their fathers,
that they may render obedience." E.G. White, Desire of Ages, 232. "Even
though you may not be able to speak a word to those who are working on wrong
principles, leave them. Your withdrawal and silence may do more than words.
Nehemiah refused to associate with those who were untrue to principle, and he
would not permit his workmen to associate with them. The love and fear of God
were his safeguard-Dare to be a Daniel, Dare to stand alone. Thus as did
Moses, you will endure the seeing of Him who is invisible. But a cowardly and
silent reserve before evil associates, while you listen to their devices
makes you one with them. Come out from among them and be separate, saith the
Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and will be a
Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord
Almighty." Review & Herald Vol. 4, p. 42. Who is modern
Israel (below) in your estimation? "Study
the 9th chapter of Ezekiel. These words will be literally fulfilled yet the
time is passing, and the people are asleep. They refuse to humble their souls
and to be converted. Not a great while longer will the Lord bear with the
people who have such great and important truths revealed to them, but who
refuse to bring these truths into their individual experience. The time is
short. God is calling will YOU hear? Will YOU receive His message? Will YOU
be converted before it is too late? Soon, very soon, every case will be
decided for eternity. Letter 106, 1909, pp. 2, 3, 5, 7. (To "The
churches in Oakland and Berkeley, September 26, 1909.)" E. G. White
