Targeting Iran, Preparing for World War III
“The Western media is beating the drums of war. The
purpose is to tacitly instil, through repeated media reports, ad nauseam,
within people's inner consciousness, that the Iranian threat is real and that
the Islamic Republic should be ‘taken out.’”
“World War III is terminal. Albert Einstein understood
the perils of nuclear war and the extinction of life on earth, which has
already started with the radioactive contamination resulting from depleted
uranium. ‘I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World
War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.’”

From a reading of that article one can see that the third world war will be very devastating. Some have accused us of fear mongering because we warn God’s people of the coming war. It is the responsibility of a true watchman to warn God’s people of impending crises that they might better prepare spiritually and otherwise so as to be ready for any eventuality—even death, for there might not be time for such preparations after the war begins. It is the ‘peace and safety’ crowd who seem not concerned and that includes the leaders of the church as the following statement warns:
Begin at My Sanctuary -- "Here we see that the
church--the Lord's sanctuary--was the first to feel the stroke of the wrath of
God. The ancient men, those to whom God had given great light and who had stood
as guardians of the spiritual interests of the people, had betrayed their
trust. They had taken the position that we need not look for miracles and the
marked manifestation of God's power as in former days. Times have changed.
These words strengthen their unbelief, and they say: The Lord will not do good,
neither will He do evil. He is too merciful to visit His people in judgment. Thus 'Peace and safety’
is the cry from men who will never again lift up their voice like a
trumpet to show God's people their transgressions and the house of Jacob their
sins. These dumb
dogs that would not bark are the ones who feel the just vengeance of an
offended God. Men, maidens, and little children all perish together." E.
G. White, Testimonies, Vol. 5, 211.
We don’t propose to say when the war will break
out—only that it will. God does not divulge such information for if He did,
folk would wait until a future time to prepare themselves for such events.
Some believe that Iran would have to obtain a
nuclear war device and initiate or threaten a pre-emptive attack. There is no
conclusive evidence for that belief. We are not in agreement with that view in
any wise. It is Israel’s prime objective to stop Iran before she gets nuclear
capability because Iran has threatened to wipe Israel off the map when she
becomes capable.
Some interpret the word “now” in the following
Ellen White statement to begin at or shortly the statement was made, but that
is not provable.
“The
visions he saw by the banks of the Ulai and the Hiddekel, the great rivers of
Shinar , are now in process of
fulfillment, and all the events foretold will soon have come to pass.”
{16MR 334.2}
The
above statement surely means that all the events of Daniel, chapters 8 (Ulai)
and 10 (Hiddekel), will soon come to pass. The Lord has shown this writer that
there is a dual fulfillment of this chapter and more conventional proof of this
fact is Daniel 8:17, 19, which give end-time context for this chapter. The
historic version involving Alexander the Great, took place circa A.D. 332. That
was hardly end-time and the last end of the indignation.
The word “now” in the process of fulfillment could
just as easily mean that the process had been and is now in the process of
fulfillment. This is demonstrated by the fact that events which were in the
process of fulfillment still have not been fully fulfilled even though they
were in the process of being fulfilled. In other words, the evolvement of the
Media (Iraq) and Persia (Iran) kingdoms had been in the process for centuries
and while still being in that process of redevelopment, Ellen White would have
been correct in saying “now in the process of fulfillment.
Further, there is only one way to know which is
correct and that is via prophetic guidance on this issue and the person (name
withheld) making such claims is/are not qualified in any way in that gift.
I prayed over this issue and the Lord gave me the
following prophetic answer. He showed me that Media and Persia should be
regarded as one and the same unit. He showed me that this fact is evinced by
the two horns of the ram being on the same head. The smaller horn is Iraq and
the larger, Persia or Iran.
The ram has already been attacked in the power (horn)
of Iraq being razzed by the U.S. So the conflict between the Ram and the
He-goat has already begun with Iraq, and Iran does not have to strike first or
be a real threat in order to incite the He-goat to facilitate the final blow to
the Ram. Just as Iraq was not truly (in reality) a threat by way
of possessing mass destruction armaments, so Iran will not necessarily
possess nuclear capability before the He-goat finishes its attack on the Ram’s
other horn (power), Iran. I hasten to add that it might be protested by the
U.S. government that Iran has indeed nuclear capability before it strikes Iran,
but that is not a prerequisite any more than it was a “real” requisite for
striking Iraq.
The war may not begin this fall, but then again, it
might. It might not begin until next year. No one knows. But it is not fear
mongering to warn God’s people of the immanency of the war because God’s Word
says it will come and the signs all foretell that it will be relatively soon.
It has been my policy to warn God’s people as to
what various agencies are saying about end-time events, but in no case have I
intended that I believe or endorse such agencies as knowing when and how things
will transpire unless they have direct word from God, which is not likely to be
forthcoming for the good reason I gave heretofore.
The false prophets are pining:
“Relax!. . . . I don’t believe there
will be war for some time to come yet. Unless Iran comes forth with a nuclear
bomb which they are reported to not be able to do until next year, then there
will not be WAR!”
