The Difference Between the Wheat, Tares and Thorns

Did you ever wonder why there have been separations from various Christian bodies throughout the centuries, when God says in Matthew 13:29, 30, that the tares are to grow with the wheat until the harvest, and verse 39 says that the harvest is the end of the world? From whence, then, cometh all the hundreds of various Christian denominations etc., etc.? Why did Jesus separate a group of Christians from the apostate Jewish church of His day? Why did God separate Satan and his followers from the heavenly church before the harvest time—the end of the world? Why did Moses separate those who repented of building the golden calf from those who did not? Why did Moses separate those who repented from Korah's company, and then destroy the rest? Why the Protestant Reformation separation from Rome?

I will tell you why friend. Tares are defined by the Spirit of Prophecy as insincere believers, but when insincere belief turns to open sin rebellion, you have another element: you have thorns which choke out the wheat and make it impossible for the wheat to mature. This is the point at which separation from a professing religious body becomes an absolute necessity if the wheat is to survive, because Scripture says that it is impossible for the wheat to unite the corrupt and remain pure. So thorns are open sinners, and open sinners were ever to be put out of the camp if they would not readily repent and reform.

God did not remove Satan from heaven until his rebellion became open. So that is a Biblical precedent for removing open sin rebellion from the church, and if the church fails to do this, then the faithful must leave such a church, or they will be choked out and die.

"Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty." II Corinthians 6:14-17.

We find in the above Scripture what IS NOT considered mere tares or insincere believers. We are to separate from the following elements:

·       Unbelievers or infidels

·       Unrighteous persons (Open sinners)

·       Any form of idolatry Any unclean thing

"No confederacy With Those Opposing the Truth.--"Let he watchmen on the walls of Zion NOT JOIN with those who are making of non-effect the truth as it is in Christ. Let them not join the confederacy of infidelity, popery, and Protestantism in exalting tradition above scripture, reason above revelation, and human talent above the divine influence and vital power of Godliness." E. G. White, SDA Bible Commentary, Vol. 4, pp. 1141, 1142.

Every member of the professing Seventh-day Adventist Church is corporately responsible for the church's violation of each and every specification of the above statement, via the church's ecumenical connections. What is Ellen White's instruction when there is confederacy (union) with those who oppose the truth?

Corporate Responsibility

"The plain straight testimony must live in the church, or the curse of God will rest upon His people as surely as it did upon ancient Israel because of their sins. God holds His people, AS A BODY, responsible for the sins existing in individuals AMONG THEM." Testimonies, Vol. 3, p. 269.

What about the New Movement which has formed "AMONG THEM" that has removed God?! Are His people, AS A BODY responsible for that New Movement, that will permit nothing to stand in its way. (See Selected Messages, Vol. 1, 204-5).

"I was shown that the pointed testimony must live in the church. This alone will answer to the message to the Laodiceans. Wrongs must be reproved, sin must be called sin, and iniquity must be met promptly and decidedly, and put away from us AS A PEOPLE." Testimonies, Vol. 3, p. 260.

"They that forsake the law praise the wicked.' Proverbs 28:4. When those who are uniting with the world, yet claiming great purity, plead for union with those who have ever been the opposers of the cause of truth, we should FEAR AND SHUN THEM as decidedly as did Nehemiah. Such counsel is prompted by the enemy of all good. It is the speech of timeservers, and should be resisted as resolutely today as then. Whatever influence would tend to unsettle the faith of God's people in His guiding power, should be steadfastly withstood." E. G. White, Prophets and Kings, 660.

"Those who are uniting with the world [and the fallen churches that cannot be distinguished from the world, Early Writings, 273] are receiving the worldly mold and preparing for the mark of the beast." E. G. White, Testimonies, Vol. 5, 216.

"Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon, For thus saith the Lord of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of His eye." Zechariah 2:7.

"The thorns of sin will grow in any soil/ they need no cultivation; but grace must be carefully cultivated. The briers and thorns are always ready to spring up, and the work of purification must advance continually....

The thorns that have been cut off but not uprooted grow apace, until the soul [and/or the church] is overspread with them." E. G. White, Christ's Object Lessons, 51.

Quiescent, insincere believer tares, are not to be uprooted until the close of probationary time, Christ's Object Lessons, 72. Open sinning thorns are to be uprooted, or the church will be overspread with them and they will choke out and kill the wheat, making it impossible for the wheat to mature. This is why the wheat must be separated from a church that is controlled by open sinning, apostate tares and thorns.

"Christ has plainly taught that those who persist in open sin must be separated from the church..." Christ's Object Lessons, 71.

But what about a church that refuses to NEVER AGAIN show its people their sins, much less separates them from the church?

"Here we see that the church--the Lord's sanctuary--was the first to feel the stroke of the wrath of God. The ancient men, those to whom God had given great light and who had stood as guardians of the spiritual interests of the people, and betrayed their trust. They had taken the position that we need not look for miracles and the marked manifestation of God's power as in former days. Times have changed. These words strengthen their unbelief, and they say: The Lord will not do good, neither will He do evil. He is too merciful to visit His people in judgment. Thus 'Peace and safety" is the cry from men who will never again lift up their voice like a trumpet to show God's people their transgressions and the house of Jacob their sins. These dumb dogs that would not bark are the ones who feel the just vengeance of an offended God. Men, maidens, and little children all perish together." E. G. White, Testimonies, Vol. 5, 211.

What do we do with a church which will "never again" show the house of Jacob its sins, let alone remove those who persist in them? We must separate from such a church, because in such a church open sinning thorns will kill, choke out, and make it impossible for the wheat to mature.

If Ellen White prophesied that the church would never again show the house of Jacob its sins, why did she not advocate leaving such a church? Ellen White's prophecy in this regard was conditional at the time she made it. The church could have gone either way. It had not yet gone beyond the point of no return by marrying (joining) the world confederacy of Satan's fallen churches, which is unpardonable sin, after the church knew the Everlasting Gospel of Revelation 14, and the Midnight Cry of Matthew 25. To ignore the Midnight Cry and the Second Angels' Message which called us out of association, counsel, girding, confederacy and "working relationship" with the fallen churches, is to take one's eyes off the Midnight Cry lighted path, and Ellen White says this is unpardonable, because she says it is impossible for all who do so to ever get on the path again, Word to the Little Flock, p. 14. Does that view agree with Scripture? Yes indeed! Isaiah 8:9-20, says that all who do such are broken in pieces, and this refers directly to the Ezekiel 9 destruction, as the slaughter weapon of Ezekiel 9:2, is defined as "a breaking in pieces weapon" in the margin reference.

Consistent with this view, is Ellen White's commentary that all who heard and understood, but did not heed the second angels' message and the Midnight Cry in 1844, went into irretrievable darkness which is the same as rejecting light, which is the same as committing unpardonable sin. Ellen White says that reformers of all generation left churches which refused advanced light, Desire of Ages, 232, so rejection of light and truth is sanction for leaving any church. And, it gets more serious than just sanction; those who remain in a corrupt church will become corrupt, because it is impossible to unite with the corrupt without becoming corrupt!

Can Men Distinguish Between Thorns and Mere Tares?

"How shall we know that they are disloyal and untrue?--'By their fruits ye shall know them'...The Lord will not write as wise those who cannot distinguish between a tree that bears THORN-BERRIES and a tree that bears olives." E. G. White, Review and Herald, September 7, 1897.

It is not always possible to distinguish the tares from the wheat without judging character, but such is not the case with thorns! The surface readers have never made the distinction between tares and thorns, so they believe all dwell together to the end and that is fatal to all who so believe.

Thorns Are Apostates Who Make it Impossible for the Wheat to Mature

"Thorns sprung up.--The thorns made it impossible for the wheat to mature (see Luke 8:4). In the same way secular interests prevent the fruits of the Spirit (Gal. 5:22, 23) from reaching maturity. Religion is relegated to the subordinate position of being only one interest among many. For lack of cultivation it withers and eventually dies. That which the thorny-ground hearers lack is a moral transformation (Christ's Object Lessons, p. 50). SDA Bible Commentary, Vol. 5, 405.

"Behold, the sower went forth to sow; and as he sowed, some seeds fell by the wayside, and the birds came and devoured them" (R.V.); "some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth; and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: and when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them: but other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold." {COL 34.3}

Thorns believe the doctrine of the Nicolaitans which God especially hates. That doctrine is only believe or confess with the lips

"(Rom. 3:31.) Doctrine of the Nicolaitans.--The doctrine is now largely taught that the gospel of Christ has made the law of God of no effect; that by "believing" we are released from the necessity o being doers of the Word. But this is the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which Christ so unsparingly condemned." E. G. White, SDA Bible Commentary, Vol. 7, 957.

"The doctrine of the Nicolaitans appears to have been a form of antinomianism. Nicolaitans of the 2d cent. seem to have continued and extended the views of the 1st-cent. adherents, holding to the freedom of the flesh, and teaching that the deeds of the flesh had no effect upon the health of the soul and consequently no relation to salvation." SDA Bible Commentary, 771.

Definition of antinomian--'One who holds that under the gospel dispensation the moral law is of no use or obligation because faith alone is necessary to salvation." Webster's Seventh New Collegiate Dictionary.

"But the doctrine is now largely taught that the Gospel of Christ has made the law of God of no effect; that by 'believing' we are released from the necessity of being doers of the word. But this is the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which Christ so unsparingly condemned.... Those who are teaching this doctrine today have much to say in regard to faith and the righteousness of Christ; but they pervert the truth, and make it serve the cause of error. They declare that we have only to believe on Jesus Christ, and that faith is all--sufficient; that the righteousness of Christ is to be the sinners credentials; that this imputed righteousness fulfils the law for us, and that we are under no obligation to obey the law of God. This class claim that Christ came to save sinners, and that he has saved them. "I am saved,' they will repeat over and over again. But are they saved while transgressing the law of Jehovah?--No; for the garments of Christ's righteousness are not a cloak for iniquity: Such teaching is a gross deception, and Christ becomes to these persons a stumbling-block as he did to the Jews,--to the Jews because they would not receive him as their personal Saviour; to these professed believers in Christ, because they separate Christ and the Law, and regard faith as a substitute for obedience. They separate the Father and the Son, the Saviour of the world. Virtually they teach, both by precept and example, that Christ, by his death, saves men in their transgressions." E. G. White, The Signs of the Times, Vol. 3, 363, col. 1.

"It is IMPOSSIBLE for you to unite with those who are corrupt, and still remain pure. (II Corinthians 6:14-15 quoted). God and Christ and the heavenly host would have men know that if he unites with the corrupt he will become corrupt." E. G. White, Review and Herald, Vol. 4, p. 137.

Thorns--Nicolaitans to be Separated From the Church--"It is our work to know our special failings and sins, which cause darkness and spiritual feebleness, and quenched our first love. Is it worldliness? Is it selfishness? Is it the love of self-esteem? Is it striving to be first? Is it the sin of sensuality that is intensely active? Is it the sin of the Nicolaitans, turning the grace of god into lasciviousness? Is it the misuse and abuse of great light and opportunities and privileges, marking boasted claims to wisdom and religious knowledge, while the life and character are inconsistent and immoral? Whatever it is that has been petted and cultivated until it has become strong and overmastering, make determined efforts to overcome, else you will e lost. It is these cherished sins, abhorrent to God, that make enfeebled moral courage, and leave you to choose to walk apart from God, while you retain a miserable, heartless, outward form. Once the soul was all aglow with the love for Jesus; but all this is changed. The great Head who moves in the midst of his candlesticks will never be without a church. There will be faithless ones who will go out from us because they were not of us. There will be apostasies. But 'nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his.' There will be those who are evil, who hold the truth in unrighteousness, who are sensual, who are controlled by the master-worker in all evil, who will have to be separated from the church."...

This labor of purifying the church is a painful work, but one that must not be neglected, if the church would have the commendation of God." E. G. White, Review and Herald Articles, 06-07-1887, paragraph 16.

Now let’s examine Ellen White’s entire chapter on tares from Christ’s Object Lessons, pp. 70-75, to see how SDA leaders are misapplying Ellen White.

Tares

[This chapter is based on Matt. 13:24-30, 37-43.]

Another parable put He forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field; but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also."

"The field," Christ said, "is the world." But we must understand this as signifying the church of Christ in the world. The parable is a description of that which pertains to the kingdom of God, His work of salvation of men; and this work is accomplished through the church. True, the Holy Spirit has gone out into all the world; everywhere it is moving upon the hearts of men; but it is in the church that we are to grow and ripen for the garner of God.

Ron’s Commentary: Then why did Jesus “gather out” those who were to take the gospel to the world from A.D. 27-70; in the Dark Ages; in the Reformation; in 1844 and in every succeeding generation because the ecclesiastical leaders would not tolerate light (DA 232)? Will God honor a new movement that has removed Him, 1 Selected Messages, 204-5? Every specification of that passage has been fulfilled and any true reformer can tell you how this is so. We were never to join ANY new movement. Satan knew that so he came and formed one within, among, and the foolish virgins are none-the-wiser.

(COL cont)

He that sowed the good seed is the Son of man. . . . The good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one." The good seed represents those who are born of the word of

God, the truth. The tares represent a class who are the fruit or embodiment of error, of false principles. "The enemy that sowed them is the devil." Neither God nor His angels ever sowed a seed that would produce a tare. The tares are always sown by Satan, the enemy of God and man.

In the East, men sometimes took revenge upon an enemy by strewing his newly sown fields with the seeds of some noxious weed that, while growing, closely resembled wheat. Springing up with the wheat, it injured the crop and brought trouble and loss to the owner of the field. So it is from enmity to Christ that Satan scatters his evil seed among the good grain of the kingdom. The fruit of his sowing he attributes to the Son of God. By bringing into the church those who bear Christ's name while they deny His character, the wicked one causes that God shall be dishonored, the work of salvation misrepresented, and souls imperiled.

Christ's servants are grieved as they see true and false believers mingled in the church. They long to do something to cleanse the church. Like the servants of the householder, they are ready to uproot the tares. But Christ says to them, "Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest."

Christ has plainly taught that those who persist in open sin must be separated from the church, but He has not committed to us the work of judging character and motive. He knows our nature too well to entrust this work to us. Should we try to uproot from the church those whom we suppose to be spurious Christians, we should be sure to make mistakes. Often we regard as hopeless subjects the very ones whom Christ is drawing to Himself.

Were we to deal with these souls according to our imperfect judgment, it would perhaps extinguish their last hope. Many who think themselves Christians will at last be found wanting. Many will be in heaven who their neighbors supposed would never enter there. Man judges from appearance, but God judges the heart. The tares and the wheat are to grow together until the harvest; and the harvest is the end of probationary time.

Ron’s Commentary: Questions and Issues:

Ellen White says that true and false believers are mingled in the church. But she says not to uproot the tares. Right?!

Tares must not be open sinners, because Mrs. White says in the very next paragraph (above) that “Christ has plainly taught that those who persist in open sin must be separated from the church, but He has not committed to us the work of judging character and motive.”

The tare, false believers, must not be open sinners, because one would have to judge their character and motives in order to uproot them.

Does one have to judge character and motive in order to separate those who persist in open sin? Nay! Open sin is defined by Scripture.

What happens when the church will not separate from the church those who persist in open apostasy sin?

What happens when those who persist in open apostasy sin are leaders, even ring-leaders of the apostasy? What then?!

What happens when the open, omega of apostasy sin, such as the Trinity Doctrine, has persisted in the church since 1930—for 79 years (as of 2009)?

The Trinity Doctrine involves the character and personality of God.

The Alpha of Apostasy involved the character and personality of God. It involved spiritualistic theories about the personality of God, to wit:

"The spiritualistic theories regarding the personality of God [the Godhead], followed to their logical conclusion, sweep away the whole Christian economy. They estimate as nothing the light that Christ came from heaven to give John to give to His people. They teach that the scenes just before us are not of sufficient importance to be given special attention. They make of no effect the truth of heavenly origin, and rob the people of God of their past experience, giving them instead a false science." E.G. White, Selected Messages, Bk.1, p. 204.

Ellen White says that a correct interpretation of the personality of God is a landmark, pillar doctrine, to wit: "Those who seek to remove the old landmarks are not holding fast they are not remembering how they have received and heard. Those who try to bring in theories that would remove the pillars of our faith concerning the sanctuary or concerning the personality of God or of Christ, are working as blind men. They are seeking to bring in uncertainties and to set the people of God adrift without an anchor." {MR760 9.5}

The personality of God and Christ are involved in the Trinity Doctrine. According to her own statement, the Trinity Doctrine is Rome’s Central Doctrine.

The Trinity Doctrine says that the Holy Spirit was always a separate person other than the Son of God.

Ellen White says that the Holy Spirit is the soul of the life of Christ, to wit:

"Christ declared that after his ascension, he would send to his church, as his crowning gift, the Comforter, who was to take his place. This Comforter is the Holy Spirit,--the soul of his life, the efficacy of his church, the light and life of the world. With his Spirit Christ sends a reconciling influence and a power that takes away sin.

In the gift of the Spirit, Jesus gave to man the highest good that heaven could bestow....

The Spirit was given as a regenerating agency, and without this the sacrifice of Christ would have been of no avail....

It is by the Spirit that the heart is made pure. Through the Spirit the believer becomes a partaker of the divine nature. Christ has given his Spirit as a divine power to overcome all hereditary and cultivated tendencies to evil, and to impress his own character upon the church." E.G. White, Review and Herald Articles, May 19, 1904, vol. 5, p. 42.

If the Holy Spirit is the soul of Christ’s life, then it must have been the Divine Nature life of Christ before His Incarnation. Why? Because of the following statement: “Cumbered with humanity Christ could not be in every place personally, therefore it was altogether for their advantage that He should leave them to go to His Father and send the Holy Spirit to be His successor on earth. The Holy Spirit is Himself divested of the personality of humanity and independent thereof. He would represent Himself as present in all places by His Holy Spirit.” E.G. White, (Manuscript Releases Volume 14 (No’s 1081-1135) MR No.1084.

Obviously, the only way Christ could be everywhere at once before combining with humanity, was by His Holy Spirit, remembering that Ellen White said that the Holy Spirit is the soul of His life.

Ellen White said that Christ took our humanity FOREVER and that He could not be everywhere at once because He had to divest Himself of His Holy Spirit to become combined with humanity.

When Christ divested Himself of His Holy Spirit, the Holy Ghost became His representative in the earth.

The Son of God emptied Himself of His Divine Nature Holy Spirit at His Incarnation as the “highest good, crowning gift that heaven could bestow.” He gave that Divine Nature Holy Spirit gift to us for regeneration back into the image of God. II Peter 1:4.

So the Holy Spirit of the Son of God became the third person Holy Ghost Divine Nature of the Son at His Incarnation. Christ would never again be DIVINE ONLY. This was a huge sacrifice made for us—that the life that was His, might be ours and the death that was ours might be His, to wit:

"He (Christ) suffered the death which was ours, that we might receive the life which WAS His." Desire of Ages, p. 25 1 Cor. 11:24-265, cf. John 6:53, 54, Titus 3:5, 6.

What life WAS HIS? His Divine Only Life—His Holy Spirit that could be everywhere at once, which He was divested of when combined with humanity, otherwise He could have been everywhere at once in His combined human state and this was not the case.

The Trinity Doctrine of Rome denies the huge highest good, crowing sacrificial gift you just read about by saying that the Holy Ghost came about by no such sacrifice at the Son’s Incarnation. They say the Holy Spirit always existed as a separate third person.

If the Holy Spirit always existed as a separate third person, He could not be the life and soul of Christ. He could only be the life and soul of Himself—the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit has always existed. Scripture says that there is One Eternal Spirit. The Father and the Son had that One Eternal Divine, Holy Spirit. But the Son emptied Himself of His Holy Spirit Divine nature as a gift to man. Rome’s Trinity Doctrine denies everything you have just read, which denial is the most blasphemous thing that exists against the Holy Ghost.

The SDA church adopted that abominable blasphemy in 1980. That doctrine, like the alpha of apostasy, involves the personality of Christ and the soul of His (pre-incarnated) life, His Holy Spirit. This constitutes the omega of apostasy and there could be no greater abomination.

This open, most blasphemous, abominable sin, exists in the SDA new movement church today (1SM 204-5). The leaders brought it in. Ellen White said that “nothing” would be allowed to stand in the way of the new movement. We cannot remove that open, most blasphemous sin from the church. Therefore, we have to remove ourselves from that new movement church, or we are corporately responsible for that sin of all sins—which is unpardonable to anyone who learns this truth you have just read. Nothing could speak more against the Holy Ghost than the Trinity doctrine and speaking against the Holy Ghost is unpardonable sin.

If the wheat and open sinning thorns are supposed to dwell together until the harvest at the end of the world, why did Christ “gather out” from apostate Israel, Desire of Ages, 232?

Why did the true reformers of every succeeding generation leave the church of their fathers?

I’ll tell you the only reason DA 232 gives: It says that the ecclesiastical leaders would not tolerate light. Teaching unpardonable sin error is certainly not tolerating light! Thus, true reformers who know the light of truth must leave such blasphemous apostasy and the SDA new movement it formed amongst in Trojan Horse fashion.

The way Elder Nelson and other SDA leaders interpret the Tares parable of the Bible and Ellen White’s statements on the tares, no people, including Jesus, should have left any open sinning tares (thorns) until the harvest at the end of the world. Jesus should not have gathered Jews out into home churches. Protestants should not have left Rome in the Reformation. Adventists should not have left the Protestants in 1844, if the wheat and open sinning tares (thorns) are to grow together UNCONDITIONALLY, until the harvest—the end of the world.

Isaiah 37:31, 32, according to God and Ellen White, was written more for us than the Jews.

Isaiah 4:1-4 was written more for us than the Jews. Seven woman is the all-inclusive symbol for all formally organized churches at the end-time. Isaiah 4:1-4 must be interpreted so as to not contradict Isa. 37:31, 32—as in Jerusalem in the days of the disciples, there were two church headquarters in Jerusalem—true Zion, true Jerusalem, and apostate Jerusalem.

Ezekiel 5:1-3 was written more for us than the Jews.

Back to Christ’s Objects Lessons on the Tares chapter:

There is in the Saviour's words another lesson, a lesson of wonderful forbearance and tender love. As the tares have their roots closely intertwined with those of the good grain, so false brethren in the church may be closely linked with true disciples. The real character of these pretended believers is not fully manifested. Were they to be separated from the church, others might be caused to stumble, who but for this would have remained steadfast.

Ron’s Commentary: Wonderful forbearance and tender love had no place when Jesus “gathered out” those who would take the gospel to the world, DA 232. Wonderful forbearance and tender love had no place in the Reformation. Wonderful forbearance and love had no place in 1844! Wonderful forbearance and love has never had a place when true reformers in every succeeding generation left the church of their fathers because the leaders would not tolerate light, DA 232. Yet, apostate SDA leaders would have you believe that any degree of open sin apostasy in their church is alright until the harvest at the end of the world. That is the same lie apostate leaders have told the sheep in every age.

Pretended believers are insincere believers. They are different from open, apostate sinners.  End note.

The teaching of this parable is illustrated in God's own dealing with men and angels. Satan is a deceiver. When he sinned in heaven, even the loyal angels did not fully discern his character. This was why God did not at once destroy Satan. Had He done so, the holy angels would not have perceived the justice and love of God. A doubt of God's goodness would have been as evil seed that would yield the bitter fruit of sin and woe. Therefore the author of evil was spared, fully to develop his character. Through long ages God has borne the anguish of beholding the work of evil, He has given the infinite Gift of Calvary, rather than leave any to be deceived by the misrepresentations of the wicked one; for the tares could not be plucked up without danger of uprooting the precious grain. And shall we not be as forbearing toward our fellow men as the Lord of heaven and earth is toward Satan?

Ron’s Commentary: Was Jesus forbearing to the Jews when He gathered out from them, DA 232? Was Jesus forbearing to the Jews in Jeremiah 11:9-15? Was God forbearing to Rome in the Reformation and apostate Protestants in 1844? Was Ellen White forbearing to Kellogg and his supporters in the alpha of apostasy? She said to take the young men and women as far away from the church as possible. What would she say in the omega? Notice:

Ellen White on Home Churches in the Alpha of Apostasy

"There is a little hope in one direction: Take the young men and women, and place them where they will come as little in contact with our churches as possible, that the low grade of piety which is current in this day shall not leaven their ideas of what it means to be a Christian." E.G. White, Manuscript Release #995, p. 5.

"Brother and sister Haskell have rented a house in one of the best parts of the city, and have gathered round them a family of helpers, who day by day go out giving Bible readings, selling our papers, and doing medical missionary work. During the hour of worship, the workers relate their experiences. Bible studies are regularly conducted in the home, and THE YOUNG MEN AND YOUNG WOMEN connected with the mission receive a practical, thorough training in holding Bible readings and in selling our publications. The Lord has blessed their labors, a number have embraced the truth, and many others are deeply interested." Review and Herald, September 7, 1905, Evangelism, p. 108.

“There will have to be a second conversion in the hearts of some of our leading medical fraternity, and a cutting away from the men who are trying to guide the medical ship into the harbor, else they themselves will never reach the haven of rest. Christ calls, Come out from among them, and be ye separate.

I write this because any moment my life may be ended. Unless there is a BREAKING AWAY from the influence that Satan has prepared, and a reviving of the testimonies that God has given, souls will perish in their delusion. They will accept fallacy after fallacy, and will thus keep up a disunion that will always exist until those who have been deceived take their stand on the right platform. All this higher education that is being planned will be extinguished for it is spurious. The more simple the education of our workers, the less connection they have with the men whom God is not leading, the more will be accomplished. Work will be done in the simplicity of true godliness, and the old, old times will be back LOOK UP STATEMENT FOR THE REST OF THE QUOTE.  Special Testimonies, Series B., No. 7 (1906), p. 63.

"Even though you may not be able to speak a word to those who are working on wrong principles, leave them. Your withdrawal and silence may do more than words. Nehemiah refused to associate with those who were untrue to principle, and he would not permit his workmen to associate with them The love and fear of God were his safeguard-Dare to be a Daniel, Dare to stand alone. Thus as did Moses, you will endure the seeing of Him who is invisible. But a cowardly and silent reserve before evil associates, while you listen to their devices makes you one with them Come out from among them and be separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty." Review & Herald Vol. 4, p. 42.

Here is Ellen White's counsel in 1905 concerning the Alpha of Apostasy:

Do all you can to warn and then separate—No longer a mixed multitude:  "Some who have received warning and instruction from God have deliberately turned from the messages sent them. They have, as it were, walked blindfolded into Satan's prepared snares. Satan is playing the game of life for their souls. And some who might be in a position to help these ensnared souls have themselves become ensnared as captives to the arch deceiver. . . l am instructed to say that we must do all we can for these deceived ones. Their minds must be freed from the delusions of the enemy, and if we fail in our efforts to save these erring ones, we must 'come out from among them' and be separate. . . For years the backward tendencies of many have greatly hindered the work of God. Now, just now, the Lord's people are to show their loyalty. The time has come when the Lord would have all who will honor Him take their stand firmly on the side of truth and righteousness. No longer are we to be a mixed multitude.” E. G. White, Manuscript 106, 11/20/1905.

"The fifty-eighth chapter of Isaiah contains instruction for TODAY. 'Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and show MY PEOPLE their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sin...." The work would not have been hindered as it has been for the past several years if Dr. Kellogg were a converted man. "Come," I call, "come ye out and be separate from him and his associates whom he has leavened." I am now giving the message God has given me, to give to all who claim to believe the truth: "Come out from among them, and be ye separate,' else their sin in justifying wrongs and framing deceits will continue to be the ruin of souls." E.G. White, SpTB07, Testimonies for the Church Containing Messages of Warning and Instruction to Seventh-day Adventists, pr. 02, p. 64.

So why did Ellen White not leave? Because she was able to stifle the Alpha. We don't have a prophet that many in the church will listed to in the omega. That is why NOTHING WILL BE ALLOWED TO STAND IN ITS WAY! End note:

Cont. Christ’s Objects Lessons on Tares

The world has no right to doubt the truth of Christianity because there are unworthy members in the church, nor should Christians become disheartened because of these false brethren. How was it with the early church? Ananias and Sapphira joined themselves to the disciples. Simon Magus was baptized. Demas, who forsook Paul, had been counted a believer. Judas Iscariot was numbered with the apostles. The Redeemer does not want to lose one soul; His experience with Judas is recorded to show His long patience with perverse human nature; and He bids us bear with it as He has borne. He has said that false brethren will be found in the church till the close of time.

Ron’s Commentary: Was Christ’s experience with Judas some 79 years? If God says it is impossible to unite with the corrupt and remain pure, how can one remain with them for years and even become pure?

Notwithstanding Christ's warning, men have sought to uproot the tares. To punish those who were supposed to be evildoers, the church has had recourse to the civil power. Those who differed from the established doctrines have been imprisoned, put to torture and to death, at the instigation of men who claimed to be acting under the sanction of Christ. But it is the spirit of Satan, not the Spirit of Christ, that inspires such acts. This is Satan's own method of bringing the world under his dominion. God has been misrepresented through the church by this way of dealing with those supposed to be heretics.

Not judgment and condemnation of others, but humility and distrust of self, is the teaching of Christ's parable. Not all that is sown in the field is good grain. The fact that men are in the church does not prove them Christians.

The tares closely resembled the wheat while the blades were green; but when the field was white for the harvest, the worthless weeds bore no likeness to the wheat that bowed under the weight of its full, ripe heads. Sinners who make a pretension of piety mingle for a time with the true followers of Christ, and the semblance of Christianity is calculated to deceive many; but in the harvest of the world there will be no likeness between good and evil. Then those who have joined the church, but who have not joined Christ, will be manifest.

The tares are permitted to grow among the wheat, to have all the advantage of sun and shower; but in the time of harvest ye shall "return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth Him not." Mal. 3:18. Christ Himself will decide who are worthy to dwell with the family of heaven. He will judge every man according to his words and his works. Profession is as nothing in the scale. It is character that decides destiny.

The Saviour does not point forward to a time when all the tares become wheat. The wheat and tares grow together until the harvest, the end of the world. Then the tares are bound in bundles to be burned, and the wheat is gathered into the garner of God. "Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father." Then "the Son of man shall send forth His angels, and they shall gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; and shall cast them into a furnace of fire; there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth." End of chapter on Tares.

Ron’s Commentary: The leaders and members of the apostate church often quote Ellen White that we should take the attitude of Moses. Moses killed open sinning apostates (thorns) on two different occasions before he even prayed for those who repented eg. The Golden Calf and the Korah and party incidents. He removed the tabernacle from the camp of Israel until it was cleansed by killing off the apostates. We can’t do that today, so the only solution is to leave and form home churches that will comprise the final remnant. Sure there will be tares in them as well, but no open, unpardonable sin apostasy will be tolerated in any true home church. That is a huge difference.

The Trinity doctrine is far from the only unpardonable sin the new movement SDA church has committed. To begin a new movement that has removed pillar doctrines after one has known the truth is unpardonable, and I submit to you friend, that the SDA church has violated Isaiah 8:9-12 via ecumenical liaison with Babylon. According to Word to the Little Flock, p. 14, that is unpardonable sin because it is violation of the second angel’s message and the Midnight Cry which gave power to that message. Ellen White clearly stated that all who strayed from the pathway of those messages would find it IMPOSSIBLE to get back on the path to heaven and Isaiah 8:9-12 is saying the same thing. Those verses give one option for violating them: “broken in pieces.”

Here is a list of some of the more serious abominations that the church has committed for which we are to sigh and cry:  https://omegacountdownministries.neocities.org//abominationslistof.htm

1Cr 16:15 I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and [that] they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,)

1Cr 16:19 The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.

Ellen White on Home Churches

When the young men and women were kept away from the Alpha of apostasy in the church, what did they do where did they meet for worship?

Ellen White on Home Churches in the Alpha of Apostasy:

"Christ was a protestant...The Reformers date back to Christ and the apostles. They came out and separated themselves from a religion of forms and ceremonies. Luther and his followers did not invent the reformed religion. They simply accepted it as presented by Christ and the apostles." E.G. White, Review and Herald, vol. 2, 48, col. 2.

Paul left

"And as they persisted in their rejection of the gospel the apostle (Paul) went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God. But when divers were hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus." Acts, 19:8, 9.

"Fearing that the faith of the believers would be endangered by continued association with these opposers of the truth, Paul separated from them, and gathered the disciples into a distinct body." E.G. White, Acts of the Apostles, p. 286.
