  Sabbath School Curriculum http://gracelink.net ·
Beginning in January 2002, the traditional children's Sabbath
School (Cradle Roll [now called Beginner], Kindergarten, Primary,
Junior-Teen) will be replaced with the General Conference's apostate
  "new theology" model, "Gracelink"
SS Curriculum. It appears they will abandon the pillars of Adventism from the
very foundation, the children's lessons and curriculum, to further establish
completely a "new" Adventist church - that has no resemblance to
the great Advent movement that God raised up through Sister White and the
  pioneers. Larry
Kirkpatrick, pastor of the Mentone, California, SDA Church, and more notably,
author of the Great Controversy website
  http://www.greatcontroversy.org, has been
attempting to dialogue for more than a year with those who would develop this
  "Gracelink" curriculum for the children
of Adventism, but to little avail. In reality, there was no dialogue, but
only pat answers and form letters in return for Brother Kirkpatrick's letters
of concern for the developing project. The
concerns for Gracelink are many. The artwork, the
insistence upon the use of the New International (Vaticanus
Text) Version, the use of theatrics and drama, not to mention the broad daylight
display of apostate theology and the erosion of the pillar teachings...etc.
But Bro. Kirkpatrick sums it up best when he regretfully declares--
"their portrayal of grace and obedience is unambiguously faulty, and
incompatible with Adventism." (Please see Larry Kirkpatrick's important
editorial: "Theological Concerns and Reflection on the Gracelink Curriculum: A brief evaluation of Gracelink Materials and of the philosophies revisionists
seek to press home to our youth" found at: http://www.greatcontroversy.org/reportandreview/kir-gracelinkreview.php3 This is a
very serious matter--the children--which represents the next generations of
Adventists. The goal of the General Conference is clear--to raise up a new generation of psuedo-Adventists,
who no longer remember "the old paths", the "historic
roots", and pillar doctrines of the Seventh-day Adventist movement.
These spoon-fed new generation "Adventists" will only know what
they have been taught--from Cradle Roll on up. They will fall into place.
They won't know any better. They won't know any other way. Yeah, they won't
  know the truth. Yes, this
"new" movement, which is well under way even at this time, will
resemble and have great favor with the great ecumenical see (sic) of
"Christian" religions nationally and globally. They will be
politically correct. They will blend in. They will cooperate. They will be
"good citizens" and reflect the majority in thought and teaching.
But they will be lost. They will
NOT sound the last warning message for this lost world. They will
NOT embrace and present the Three Angel's Messages in their fullness. They will
NOT reveal the sins of Babylon, much less the "Man of Sin". They will
NOT preach the Sabbath truth more fully. Again,
this "Gracelink" curriculum is a most
serious matter indeed. I don't know what to do other than to pray to our
Father in heaven. I "cry and sigh" for these abominations (Ez.
9:4). The GC is rapidly turning the Adventist church into just another
  main-stream "cookie-cutter" Protestant/Catholic denomination. The
plan is set. No one can oppose it. They will have their "new order"
  of things. "Then
said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding
great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for
they say, The LORD hath forsaken the earth, and the LORD seeth not. And as
for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will
recompense their way upon their head. And, behold, the man clothed with
linen, which [had] the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, I
have done as thou hast commanded me." Ezekiel 9:9-11. Pray
  without ceasing. Your
Brother in Christ, Ted Phelps |
