I was born a Seventh-day
Adventist, and for my 40 years in the church, it never celebrated Christmas and
Easter. The following link is an advertisement by Southern University giving
away free tickets to their Easter celebration. Notice how they attempt to
deceive by using the word Sonrise rather than
Sunrise. Just as Catholicism added pagan customs to their venu
in order to attract converts, now sister-to-fallen-Babylon Seventh-day
Adventism is doing the same thing.

arouse and cleanse the camp of Israel. Licentiousness, unlawful intimacy, and
unholy practices are coming in among us in a large degree...We are in danger of
becoming a sister to fallen Babylon, of allowing our churches to become
corrupted and filled with every foul spirit, a cage for every unclean and
hateful bird, and will we be clear unless we make decided movements to cure the

the early church the birth of Christ was not celebrated, only his death, burial
and resurrection. Christmas was first a pagan holiday called the Winter
Solstice which honored the birth of the sun-god on December 25th. Easter, the
date in spring when we celebrate the death, burial and resurrection of Christ,
was first celebrated by the third century Christians as Pesach or the Passover.
Although not an apostolic institution, Pesach was observed by many professing
Christians. Pesach was not idolatrous nor was it preceded by Lent. Lent, or the
40 days of abstinence before Easter, was directly borrowed from the worship of
Ishtar, the licentious Assyrian goddess of love. Her fertility was represented
by a decorated egg called the "Ishtar egg." Tammuz, her husband who
was the Assyrian form of the pagan Nimrod who founded Babylon, was judicially
put to death in the spring of the year for a great offense committed against
the gods. Ishtar mourned his death for 40 days. This pagan ritual when adopted
by the church at the Council of Aurelea (ph) in 519 AD, reversed the period of 40 days of mourning
to precede the commemorated date of the death, burial and resurrection of
Christ. In England, Lent was celebrated in March and April, the end of which is
Easter. Easter is the English name for the pagan and licentious goddess

Implications for Adventists Celebrating the
Pagan Licentious Goddess Ishtar
The
Freemasons formed the World Council of Churches and its subsidiaries, the
National Councils and the local Ministerial Associations. Through these venues,
they have
infiltrated all Christian churches with the ultimate objective of perverting
them by admixing the teachings of pagans to finally arrive at a one world
“homogenized” religion that accommodates all the religions of the world. By
celebrating Christmas and Easter, Adventists are aiding and abetting this
attempt by Satan to replace the sacred with the profane.
Dumb
Adventists will opine that they are not sitting around weeping for Tammuz! That
is not the point! The point is that in celebrating Easter, Adventists are
aiding Luciferian worshippers who are attempting to produce a one world
religion that is Satan’s attempt to satisfy everyone, while perverting the pure
Christian religion.
Ezekiel
8 gives the reasons why Ezekiel 9 will be literally fulfilled again, this time
in the SDA church, to wit:
It is
just as bad to patronize and support those who weep for Tammuz, as it is to
actually weep for him yourself!
"Study the 9th chapter of Ezekiel. These words will be literally
fulfilled yet the time is passing, and the people are asleep. They refuse to
humble their souls and to be converted. Not a great while longer will the Lord
bear with the people who have such great and important truths
revealed to them, but who refuse to bring these truths into their individual
experience. The time is short. God is calling will YOU hear? Will YOU receive
His message? Will YOU be converted before it is too late? Soon, very soon,

Ellen White said it all
in the following statement:
Says Howard Crosby: “The
church of God is today courting the world. Its members are trying to bring it
down to the level of the ungodly. The ball, the theater, nude and lewd art,
social luxuries with all their loose moralities, are making inroads into the
sacred inclosure of the church; and as a satisfaction
for all this worldliness, Christians are making a great deal of Lent and Easter
and church ornamentation. It is the old trick of Satan. The Jewish church
struck on that rock; the Romish church was wrecked on
the same; and the Protestant is fast reaching the same doom. {GC88
Just like the
deceptiveness involved in the adoption of the Trinity Doctrine, SDA leaders
have done the same thing with Easter. Ellen White never endorsed Easter. But
look what SDA leaders have done in their compilation book of Ellen White’s statements, entitled The Upward Look. The article does not
use the word Easter, but the leaders insidiously inserted the word Easter in
the title as follows:

“Behold, some of the watch came into the
city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done. Matthew

The angels of the Lord excel in strength. One angel appeared before the
Roman guard appointed to watch Christ’s tomb and caused them to fear and quake
and to become as powerless as dead men. Yet the whole scene was forever stamped
on their minds. A mighty angel with exceeding great glory descended from the
heavens to the earthly sepulcher, and laying hold on the sealed stone, removed
it as he would a pebble. Then the mighty angel, with a voice that caused the
earth to quake, was heard to say, “Jesus, Thou Son of God, Thy Father calls
Thee.” Then He who had earned the power to conquer death and the grave came
forth, and proclaimed over the rent sepulcher of Joseph, “I am the resurrection
and the life.”{UL 263.2}
The soldiers hastened to the priests, and
with quaking hearts told them what had happened. The faces of the priests were
as those of the dead. Caiaphas tried to speak. His lips moved, but they uttered
no sound. The soldiers were about to leave the council room when a voice stayed
them. Caiaphas had at last found speech. “Wait, wait,” he said. “Tell no one
the things you have seen.”{UL 263.3}
A lying report was given to the soldiers.
“Say ye,” said the priests, “his disciples came by
night, and stole him away while we slept” (Matthew 28:13). The soldiers sold
their integrity for money. They came in before the priests burdened with a most
startling message of truth; they went out with a burden of money and on their
tongues a lying report which had been framed for them by the priests.{UL 263.4}
The lying report was spread far and near. But
there were witnesses to Christ’s resurrection whom the priests could not
silence. Certain of the dead who came forth with Christ appeared to many and declared that He had risen. And Christ Himself
remained with His disciples for forty days after He rose from the dead, and
before His ascension [He] gave them their commission, bidding them go into all
the world and preach the gospel to every creature.{UL

In this age, a time of satanic wonders,
everything conceivable will be said and done to deceive if possible the very
elect. Let believers say nothing to extol Satan’s power. The Lord will
distinguish His commandment-keeping people with signal marks of His favor, if
they will be molded and fashioned by His Spirit, and built up in the most holy
faith, hearkening strictly to the voice of His Word.”—Letter 195, September 6,
