An inspired rebuke to those who seek

enemy of souls has sought to bring in the supposition that a great
reformation was to take place among Seventh-day Adventists, and that this
reformation would consist in giving up the doctrines which stand as the
pillars of our faith, and engaging in a process of reorganization. Were this
reformation to take place, what would result? The principles of truth that
God in His wisdom has given to the remnant church, would be discarded. Our
religion would be changed. The fundamental principles that have sustained the
work for the last fifty years would be accounted as error. A NEW ORGANIZATION
would be established. Books of a new order would be written. A system of
intellectual philosophy would be introduced. The founders of this system
would go into the cities, and do a wonderful work. The Sabbath of course,
would be lightly regarded, as also the God who created it. Nothing would be allowed to stand in
the way of the new movement.
The leaders would teach that virtue is better than vice, but God being
removed, they would place their dependence on human power, which, without
God, is worthless. Their foundation would be built on the sand, and storm and
tempest would sweep away the structure. WHO HAS
AUTHORITY TO BEGIN SUCH A [NEW] MOVEMENT? We have our Bibles. We have our
experience, attested to by the miraculous working of the Holy Spirit. We have
a truth that admits of no compromise. Shall we not repudiate everything that
is not in harmony with this truth?" E.G. White, Selected Messages, Vol. 1, 204-205. ******* I am including the entire Ellen G. White
article by the above title, "Should Adventists Join Some New
Movement," which appeared in the Review and Herald Articles, Vol. 6, p.
513, November 8, 1956. The article was originally written by Ellen G. White,
on June 12, 1893, to two men by the names of Stanton and Caldwell, who were
calling the SDA church Babylon. The article: "Should Adventists Join Some
New Movement," is found in E.G. White Review and Herald Articles, Vol.
5, p. 513. The title was supplied by the editors of the Review and Herald,
printed in 1956, and ironically, this was just one year before a New Movement
Omega of Apostasy (See Selected Messages, Book 1, 204-5) was introduced into
the church in 1957, as a result of the SDA Church's Evangelical Conferences
with Walter Martin and Donald Grey Barnhouse, resulting in the publication of
the SDA doctrinal book "Answers to Questions on Doctrine." However,
the actual beginning of New Movement Seventh-day Adventism had its advent
with the introduction of worldly accreditation standards and the adoption of
the Trinity doctrine in the early 1930's. In responding to the Review article in
question, I will make every endeavor to strictly adhere to the following
Scriptural and Spirit of Prophecy guidelines for discovering the truth of
Scripture and Ellen White's article regarding whether or not we should ever
join ANY New Movement: Weight of Evidence Formula: "1. Every word must have its proper bearing on
the subject presented in the Bible; 2. All Scripture is necessary, and may be
understood by diligent application and study; 3. Nothing revealed in
Scripture can or will be hid from those who ask in faith, not wavering; 4. To
understand doctrine, bring all the scriptures together on the subject you
wish to know, then let every word have its proper influence; and if you can
form your theory without a contradiction, you cannot be in error; 5.
Scripture must be its own expositor, [interpreter] since it is a rule of
itself. If I depend on a teacher to expound to me, and he should guess at its
meaning, or desire to have it so on account of his sectarian creed, or to be
thought wise, then his guessing, desire, creed, or wisdom is my rule, and not

24. The above admonition is based on the following
Biblical principle: Isa 28:10 For precept [must be] upon precept,
precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, [and]
there a little: Isa 28:13 But the word of the LORD was unto
them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon
line; here a little, [and] there a little; that they might go, and fall
backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken. Objectives of this study:

messages will be borne by men of God's appointment, messages of a character
to WARN the people, to AROUSE them. And while some will be PROVOKED by the
warning, and led to RESIST LIGHT AND EVIDENCE, we are to see from this that
we are giving the TESTING MESSAGE FOR THIS TIME. Messages will be given
OUT OF THE USUAL ORDER." Testimonies, vol. 9, p. 137.

books of George R. Knight support many of the errors found in the above
listed books, for example, Roy Adams quotes George Knight as an imprimatur
supporter of his book. Books Changed:
Expunging from Bible Readings by Leroy Edwin Froom, Movement of Destiny,
pages 427, 428. The Voice of Prophecy radio program now uses the
"new" books, God Cares, Vol. I and Vol. II, penned by C. Mervyn Maxwell, in place of Daniel and the Revelation as
their text books for their advanced Bible lessons. Ellen White condemned
publishing the prophecies of Daniel and the Revelation in two separate books.
Notice: "The books of
Daniel and Revelation should be bound together and published....This is the
suggestion that I made to Elder Haskell which resulted in the book he
published. The need is not filled by this book. [why?] It was my idea to have
the two books bound together, Revelation following Daniel, as giving fuller
light on the subjects dealt with in Daniel. The object is to bring these
books together, showing that they both relate to the same subjects."

Christ--Bible Readings for the Home, for 35 years--1914-1949, Bible Reading
for the Home read like this on the human nature of Christ: "In His humanity
Christ partook of our sinful, fallen nature. If not, then He was not 'made
like unto His brethren,' was not' in all points tempted like as we are,' did
not overcome as we have to overcome, and is not, therefore, the complete and
perfect Saviour man needs and must have to be saved. The idea that Christ was
born of an immaculate or sinless mother, inherited no tendencies to sin, and
for this reason did not sin, removes Him from the realm of a fallen world,
and from the very place where help is needed. On His human side, Christ
inherited just what every child of Adam inherited--a sinful nature. On the
divine side, from His very conception He was begotten and born of the Spirit.
And all this was done to place mankind on vantage-ground, and to demonstrate
that in the same way everyone who is 'born of the Spirit' may gain like
victories over sin in his own sinful flesh. Thus each one is to overcome as
Christ overcame. Rev. 3:21. Without this berth there can be no victory over
temptation, and no salvation from sin. John 3:3-7. Bible Readings for the

Nature of Christ: "The example He [Christ] has left must be followed,'
Ellen White counseled. 'He took upon His sinless
nature our sinful nature, that He might know how to succor
those that are tempted." E.G. White, Medical Ministry, page 181. Human Nature of
Christ: "Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and
blood, he Christ] also himself likewise took part of the same...For verily he
took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.
Wherefore in all things it behooved him to be made
like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest
in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the

flesh, and dwelt among us,' because by so doing He could associate with the

"And thou,
Capernaum [Seventh-day Adventists, who have had great light], which art
exalted unto heaven [in point of privilege], shalt be brought down to
hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been
done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. But I say unto you,
That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom IN THE DAY OF JUDGMENT,
than for thee." E.G. White, Review and Herald Articles, Vol. 3, p. 69,
col. 3.
QUESTION: If the bad
were shaken from the SDA church militant, why would this circumstance accrue
"JUST BEFORE THE CLOSE OF PROBATION?"
"Slay utterly
old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near
any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at
the ancient men [leaders] which were before the house." Ezekiel 9:6. In the A.D. 70 PREFIGURE, the faithful had all fled to the
mountains of Pella, in the land of Perea. The Great
Controversy, p. 31. SDA's scorn and
ignore the following prophecy by Ellen White concerning Ezekiel 9, because
the Shepherd's Rod people happen to teach it. But does that make it errant?!
I am not a Shepherds Rod person, never have been, and never will be, but I
will not foolishly deny and ignore the following prophecy of Ellen White just
because the Shepherd's Rod teaches it to their people:
The destruction of
Jerusalem PREFIGURED the destruction of the world at the end-time, but this
destruction BEGINS AT HIS SANCTUARY, Testimonies, Vol. 5, 211, (chapter
begins quoting Ezekiel 9, p. 207, and that is the context of the chapter).
"The Lord Jesus
will always have a chosen people to serve Him. When the Jewish people
rejected Christ, the Prince of life. He took from them the kingdom of God and
gave it unto the Gentiles. God will continue to work on this principle with
every branch of His work. When a church proves unfaithful to the work of
the Lord, whatever their position may be, however high and sacred their
calling, the Lord can no longer work with them. Others are then chosen to
bear important responsibilities. But, if these in turn do not purify their
lives from every wrong action, if they do not establish pure and holy
principles in all their borders, then the Lord will grievously afflict and
humble them and, unless they repent, will remove them from their place and
make them a reproach. God is not 'worshipped with men's hands, as though he
needed any thing' (Acts 17:25). E. G. White, The

Rev 2:9 I know thy
works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and [I know] the
blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but [are] the
synagogue of Satan. Rev 3:9 Behold, I
will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are
not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy
feet, and to know that I have loved thee. The Synagogue of
Satan is inclusive of all errancy. This includes
the errors of professing Christianity, the non-Christian religions, and all
secular society. There are only two masters--God and Satan. Those who do not
follow the principles of the government of God, follow Satan and His Synagogue
by default if not by willful choice.
[Note by Ron Beaulieu--The following letter
was written on June 12, 1893, to a brother Stanton, who was saying that the
SDA church in 1893, was Babylon. Stanton recruited a helper in his cause by
the name of W. F. Caldwell. These men proposed a New Movement under which
true SDA's would come out from the organized church and join their New
Movement. Ellen White spoke of a New Movement entering
the church like a Trojan horse, as a manifestation of the Omega of Apostasy
[See Selected Messages, Book 1, 204-5]. She said that New Movement--New
Organization would "remove God," and "nothing would be allowed
to stand in the way of the New Movement (ibid. p. 205). The great question
for every professing Seventh-day Adventist, in this time of fulfillment of
every specification of the New Movement--New Organization Ellen White
prophesied as part of the Omega of Apostasy, is: Should we NOW join a New
Movement that has come in "among Seventh-day Adventists," when that
New Movement--New Organization has removed God, and nothing would ever be
allowed to stand in the way of that New Movement--Organization? How Long Will the Omega of Apostasy Heresy Last and Did Ellen
White Say it would Surely Come?
Some SDA leaders have taught and are still
teaching that the Omega of Apostasy occurred shortly after the Alpha, and is
over. I know of a pastor, Tom Cusack, of the Virginia Conference, who stated
on an SDA Internet e-group, that the Omega was over and past us. Also, some
think that because Ellen White said that God's threats and warnings are for
the purpose of restoring, not tearing down and destroying, that the church will
not be visited by God's judgments and that she (the church militant--wheat
and tare co-ed church) will purge herself by finally shaking out all the tares and thorns and thus become the church triumphant.
These are nothing but cherished errors of professing SDA's in light of the
following statement by Ellen White, which is based on a statement by Paul in
Scripture: "One thing it is certain is soon to be realized,
the great apostasy, which is developing and increasing and waxing stronger, and
will continue to do so until the Lord shall descend from heaven with a shout.
We are to hold fast the first principles of our denominated faith, and go
forward from strength to increased faith. Ever we are to keep the faith that
has been substantiated by the Holy Spirit of God from the earlier events of
our experience until the present time. We need now larger breadth, and
deeper, more earnest, unwavering faith in the leadings of the Holy Spirit. If
we needed the manifest proof of the Holy Spirit's power to confirm truth in
the beginning, after the passing of the time, we need to-day all the evidence
in the confirmation of the truth, when souls are departing from the faith and
giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. There must not be
any languishing of soul now." (E.G. White, Special Testimonies, Series
B, No. 7, p. 57). Another question of grave significance is
whether or not the current professing Seventh-day Adventist church has become
"the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage
of every unclean and hateful bird," words that are used solely to define
Babylon in Revelation 18:2. Ellen White stated numerous conditional
statements specifying what indeed would qualify the SDA church as a
"harlot," and "the cage of every unclean and hateful
bird." These are the words that should be searched when trying to
determine whether or not Ellen White believed and taught that the SDA church
could become a sister to the Protestant fallen daughters of Mother Rome, or
fallen Babylon. At the end of Ellen White's article we will list these
conditional statements about how the SDA church could indeed qualify as
Babylon. Now, Ellen White's article in its entirety. Notice the KEY
QUALIFYING WORDS she used to qualify that the SDA church in 1893, was not
Babylon. I will put them in red print. I will enter notes and will designate
such as being mine. Now the article just as it appears in Review and Herald
Articles, Vol. 6, p. 513. End note]. *************** [In the year 1893 Ellen G. White prepared this manuscript in
which she exposed the false teaching of two brethren who had prepared and
were circulating a tract called the Loud Cry, denouncing the
Seventh-day Adventist Church as Babylon. Her message is
equally applicable today, for false teachers here and there are
strangely burdened to denounce the Seventh-day Adventist Church, associating
it, in varying degrees, with the great apostasy described in Revelation 18.
The solemn words of Mrs. White should open the eyes of all the honesthearted to the destructive program carried on by
the different "offshoots" from the movement. This letter, recently
released, has not before been published.--Editors.]
[Note by Ron Beaulieu--This is a blatant
breach of Ellen White's counsel that we should always consider TIME, PLACE
AND CIRCUMSTANCE, in regard to her admonitions. Why would Ellen White's
message be "EQUALLY APPLICABLE TODAY," in light of the fact
that she said that THE OMEGA OF APOSTASY would involve a Trojan horse New
Movement--New Organization that would come in among us, and that this New
Movement would "REMOVE GOD" and be so powerful that nothing would
be allowed to stand in its way? Selected Messages, Book 1, 204-5. End note]. Ellen White Article (Cont): Banks's Terrace "Those who have published the Loud Cry
tract have not consulted me upon the subject. They have quoted largely from
my writings and put their own construction upon them. They claim to have a
special message from God to pronounce the Seventh-day Adventist Church
Babylon, proclaim her fall, and call the people of God to come out of her,
and try to make the Testimonies substantiate their theory. These publications
are misleading minds, and increasing the prejudice already existing, and tend
to make it more difficult to get access to them to present the message God
has given in warnings to the world of altogether a different character from
the ideas presented in these pamphlets. I arouse at half-past two o'clock; I could not
sleep; the burden was upon me. The history of the children of Israel urged
itself upon my mind, and many points were so clearly pressed upon me that I
dared not keep silent. I wrote twenty-three pages between three o'clock and
half-past twelve o'clock. My spirit was stirred within me. I felt a burden
for the people of God, not only on account of this one production, but
because of many such matters which are coming to the people, claiming to be
messages from God. "By their fruits ye shall know them." A number of these pamphlets came to the post
office, with instruction to the postmaster to hand them to Seventh-day
Adventists. The people of Wellington are full of prejudice. The circulation
of D. M. Canright's falsehoods has created
prejudice, making it next to impossible to reach the people, and everything
of this character creates the suspicion that we are working under cover.
These pamphlets and telegraph dispatches from Brother C are of a character to
confirm these suspicions. All these things are closing the doors of the
people against us. The way is being hedged up by just such things. These men who think they are doing God service
are working on the enemy's side, not on God's side. Yesterday I sent
twenty-three pages of manuscript to Melbourne to be prepared for circulation
among our people. Prior to this I sent a number of pages treating on the same
subject. It will not be prepared to go in this month's mail. A little leaven of false doctrine, under the
inspiration of satanic agencies, may work much harm to those who are not
rooted and grounded and unmovable in present truth. No one can be safe now
unless riveted to the eternal Rock. We have every reason to be grateful and
trustful in God. The Lord Jesus knoweth them that are His. He died to save a
lost world, and He is gathering out from it an army to serve under His
banner. And He will present to Himself a glorious church without spot or
wrinkle or any such thing. [Note by Ron Beaulieu--In light of the above
paragraph, we must be ever mindful of Ellen White's distinction between the
SDA church militant and the SDA Church Triumphant. We must remember that she
said that the Destruction of Jerusalem, A.D. 70, was a PREFIGURE or TYPE,
(The Great Controversy, p. 25), and that another LITERAL manifestation of
Ezekiel 9, of which A.D. 70 was a "faint shadow," would befall the
world and the SDA church (Beginning at His Sanctuary, Testimonies, Vol. 5,
211). If A.D. 70 was a PREFIGURE TYPE, then what happened then (Chapter 1 of
The Great Controversy), is a disclosure of what will happen in the SDA church
at the end-time. A faithful remnant left the apostate Jewish church and fled
to the mountains of Pella, SDA Bible Commentary, Vol. 5, 74-76. Also see
Isaiah 37:31, 32; Ezekiel 22:17-31 to see who is shaken from whom, and the
following statements:
Ellen White Article (Cont): I understood that both these men [Stanton and F. W. Caldwell], were at the General Conference [held in Battle Creek, February 17-March 6, 1893], that is, S and C. Could they not discern there the revealings of the Spirit of God? Could they not see that God was opening the windows of heaven and pouring out a blessing? Why was this? Testimonies had been given correcting and counseling the church and many had made a practical application of the message to the Laodicean Church and were confessing their sins and repenting in contrition of soul. They were hearing the voice of Jesus, the heavenly Merchantman, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." [Note by Ron Beaulieu--These are extremely
important KEY QUALIFYING WORDS by Ellen White. The Spirit of God was clearly
working on the church and the church was responding. Many were making a
practical application of the message to the Laodicean Church. They were
hearing and obeying the voice of Jesus. Clearly, the church at that time was
not A NEW MOVEMENT THAT HAD REMOVED GOD! End Note]. Ellen White Article (Cont): These brethren who claimed to have this wonderful light had the very same work of repentance and confession to do, thus clearing the rubbish from the door of their own hearts, and opening the door of their hearts to welcome the heavenly guest. Had they placed themselves in the channel of light, they would have received the most precious blessings from heaven. They would have seen that the Lord was indeed gracious, manifesting Himself to His people, and that the Sun of Righteousness had risen upon them. This was precious merchandizing actively carried on. The counsel of Christ to the Laodicean Church was being acted upon, and all who were feeling their poverty were buying gold (faith and love), white raiment (the righteousness of Christ), and eyesalve (true spiritual discernment). Why did not these brethren fall into line, and
place themselves in the channel of light? They were poverty stricken and knew
it not. They were not working in Christ's lines, were not softened and
subdued by His Holy Spirit, and were so blinded that they could not see the strong beams of light that were
coming from the throne of God upon His people. They heard not the voice of the true Shepherd. They
were listening to the voice of a stranger. When I consider the infirmities of these misled
brethren, I feel deep sorrow of heart that they did not plead with God,
"Bless me, O God bless, now I see my error. Thou art communicating to Thy people the richest truths
ever committed to mortals. These people are not Babylon; for Thou hast given to them righteousness and peace;
and Thy joy, that their joy may be full." O why did they not open the
door of their heart to Jesus? Why not have removed right there all that
obstructs the bright beams of the Sun of Righteousness that they might shine
to the world? While God's blessing was
penetrating everywhere, while His PRESENCE was consecrating and
sanctifying souls unto Himself, why
did they not place their souls in the channel of light? It was because Satan
had cast his hellish shadow athwart their pathway to obstruct every ray of
light. How could they come from that meeting where the power of God was revealed in so marked a manner,
and proclaim that the loud cry was that the commandment-keeping people
were Babylon? Satan was saying that same
thing to Christ when Joshua stood before the angel. Satan was declaring his
sins to be so great that he should not be restrained from destroying him. The
words of Christ are applicable to these brethren, and to all who advance
similar sentiments. "The Lord rebuke thee. O Satan: even the Lord that
hath chose Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the
fire? Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments and stood before the
angel." Who clothed him with filthy garments? "And he answered and
spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments
from him. And unto him be said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass
from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment. And I said, Let
them set a fair mitere upon his head, and clothed
him with garments. And the angel of the Lord stood by. And the angel of the
Lord protested unto Joshua, saying, Thus saith
the Lord of Hosts; if thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep
my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep
my courts, and I will give thee places to walk
among these that stand by." The work of Satan is to cover the
repentant, believing, COMMANDMENT-KEEPING people of God with defiling
garments; Jesus Christ commands them to be
clothed with His righteousness, garments woven in the loom of heaven. [Note by Ron Beaulieu--Here we have another
extreme unction KEY QUALIFICATION in the words THE REPENTANT, BELIEVING,
COMMANDMENT--KEEPING PEOPLE. In the Omega of Apostasy, wherein God has
been removed, and human philosophy has replaced pillar doctrines, Selected
Messages, Book 1, 204-5, how can such a people be regarded as God's
commandment-keeping people? End note]. Ellen White Article (Cont): What have our brethren S and C been doing? If
they had been commissioned of God to do this work they would not need to
appropriate the writings of Sister White, without consulting her or saying a
word to her. If they have so large confidence in the work the Lord has given
her to do, why did not they advise with her, and see if this wonderful
message was in accordance with the instruction given her of the Lord? Why did
they not have wisdom to go to work in the right way? But theirs is a spurious message, of the same
character of similar messages that men have claimed to have of the Lord. It
is not as the bright shining of a candle lighted from the divine altar. When
the Lord give His people light it is light. It is not darkness and error,
leading directly away from the true light which God has sent to strengthen and
bless, and give hope to His people. These men had no right to appropriate the
Lord's goods entrusted to His humble servant to trade upon and improve by
trading upon them, and to place them in the framework of their errors, making
it appear that it was the voice of God from heaven giving the "Loud
Cry" that the church, His chosen
people, who are keeping His commandments, are Babylon, and His people are called to come out of her. I have no such message to give; but one of an
entirely different character. My work is to seek to save lost, perishing
souls, and to teach them as did Paul, who says, "I kept back nothing
that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you
publicly, and from house to house, testifying both to the Jews, and also to
the Greeks, repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. . .
. I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.
For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God. Take heed
therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy
Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath
purchased with his own blood. For I know this, that after my departing
shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock." [Note by Ron Beaulieu--Ellen White said that
there were forces in waiting for her demise so they could, as wolves, enter
in AMONG SDA's, not sparing the flock. For example, she said that Jesuits had
not entered in her day because they knew that she could put the finger on
them. End note]. Ellen White Article (Cont): Now he brings before them another class:
"Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to
draw away disciples after them. Therefore watch, and remember, that by the
space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with
tears." In all ages of the world there have been men
who think they have a work to do for the Lord, and show no respect for those
whom the Lord has been using. They do not make right applications of
Scripture, they wrest the Scriptures to sustain their own ideas. Whatever may
be the claims of those who draw away from the body to proclaim theories of
their own invention, they are in Satan's service, to get up some new device
to divert souls from the truth for this time.. Beware of those who arise with a great burden to denounce the church. The chosen ones who are standing and breasting the storm of opposition from the world, and are uplifting the downtrodden commandments of God to exalt them as honorable and holy, are indeed the light of the world. [Note by Ron Beaulieu--Is it wrong to denounce
a church that has fulfilled all the specifications of the Omega of Apostasy,
Selected Messages, Book 1, 204-5, and "removed God?" Is it wrong to
denounce such a church that thereby has become the cage of every unclean and
hateful bird? There are only two masters--God and Satan. If God has been
removed from the church, who has replaced Him? And what does the following
statement mean?: "The Lord Jesus will always have a chosen
people to serve Him. When the Jewish people rejected Christ, the Prince of
life. He took from them the kingdom of God and gave it unto the Gentiles.
God will continue to work on this principle with every branch of His work.
When a church proves unfaithful to the work of the Lord, whatever their
position may be, however high and sacred their calling, the Lord can no
longer work with them. Others are then chosen to bear important
responsibilities. But, if these in turn do not purify their lives from
every wrong action, if they do not establish pure and holy principles in all
their borders, then the Lord will grievously afflict and humble them and,
unless they repent, will remove them from their place and make them a
reproach. God is not 'worshipped with men's hands, as tough he needed any thing' (Acts 17:25). E. G. White, The Upward Look,
131. End note]. Ellen White Article (Cont): How dare mortal man pass his judgment upon
them, and call the church a harlot, Babylon, a den of thieves, a cage of
every unclean and hateful bird, the habitation of devils, making the nations
drunk with the wine of her fornication, confederating with the kings and
great men of the earth, waxing rich through the abundance of her delicacies,
and proclaiming that her sins have reached unto heaven and God hath
remembered her iniquities? Is this the message we have to bear to Seventh-day
Adventists? I tell you No! God has given no man any such message. Let these
men humble their hearts before God, and in true contrition repent that they
have even for a time stood by the side of the accuser of the brethren who
accused them before God day and night. . . . [Note by Ron Beaulieu--It is interesting to
note that in October, 1893, just four months after Ellen White wrote her
letter to Stanton and Caldwell, and said that the church was experiencing a
revival at Campmeeting and responding to and
heeding the Laodicean Message, and was the COMMANDMENT-KEEPING PEOPLE OF GOD,
she called church a harlot: Notice: "How is the faithful city become an
harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it, but now
murderers....O house of Jacob"...."'O my people, they which lead
thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.'" E. G. White,
Fundamentals to Education, p. 222, October, 1893, Special Testimony on
Education, Fundamentals on Christian Education, p. 222, (See Contents Section
at beginning of book for date). Another time Ellen White called the church a
harlot was in Review and Herald Articles, Nov. 14, 1882, Vol. 1, p. 338, col.
1. Here is the quote: "Can Christ say of his professed
followers, These are my peculiar people; I gave myself for them, to redeem
them from all iniquity, that they should show forth my praise, who have
called them out of darkness into my marvelous
light. Would not the Lord say, rather, How is the beautiful city become a
harlot, and my Father's house a place of merchandise. Because of your
unbelief, I cannot do many mighty works among you." R&H,
Nov. 14, 1882, Vol. 1, p. 338. Then, on April 21, 1903, Ellen White again
called the church a harlot: April 21, 1903, (See Testimonies, Vol. 8, p.
247 for date), "'I saw our Instructor pointing to the
garments of so-called righteousness. Stripping them off, He laid bare the
defilement beneath. Then He said to me: 'Can you not see how they have
pretentiously covered up their defilement and rottenness of character? 'How
is the faithful city become an harlot'. . . .Unless the church, which is now
being leavened with her own backsliding shall repent and be converted, she
will eat of the fruit of her own doing, until she shall abhor herself.'"
E. G. White, Testimonies, Vol. 8, p. 250. End note]. Ellen White's Article (Cont): It seems almost impossible that anyone who had
a genuine experience in the faith should suggest such erroneous applications
of scripture as applicable to God's
commandment-keeping people. Supposing this spurious message is the one everyone
must hear for this time, "Come out of her, my people," where shall
we go to? Where shall we find the purity, goodness, and holiness where we
shall be secure? Where is the fold where no wolves will enter? I tell you, my brethren, the Lord has an
organized body through whom He will work. There may be more than a score of
Judases among them; there may be a rash Peter who will under circumstances of
trial deny his Lord; there may be persons represented by John whom Jesus
loved, but he may have a zeal that would destroy
men's lives by calling down fire from heaven upon them to revenge an insult
to Christ and to the truth. But the great Teacher seeks to give lessons of
instruction to correct these existing evils. He is doing the same today with
His church. He is pointing out their dangers. He is presenting before them
the Laodicean message. [Note be Ron Beaulieu--Ellen White said that
the Omega of Apostasy would involve a New Movement--New Organization coming
in "among" SDA's that would be so strong that it would not allow
anything to stand in its way--Selected Messages, Book 1, 204-5. In light of
that statement, will the good in the church stand against that element and
shake out the bad? Would that not make Ellen White's statement contradictory,
when she said that "nothing will be allowed to stand in the way of the
New Movement?" Will the Laodicean Message stand in the way of the Omega
of Apostasy New Movement--New Organization that has removed God? Ellen White
said that NOTHING, not even the Laodicean Message would be allowed to stand
in its way! So, what to do?! Shall we remain and perish with "men,
maidens and little children," in the next Ezekiel 9 destruction of
Jerusalem, the professing SDA church, Testimonies, Vol. 5, 211? What are the
options when God takes the reins into His own hands? What happened in the
PREFIGURE TYPE of A.D. 70? What happened in Christ's day, when He
"gathered out" those who would take the gospel to the world? Were
Home churches formed which dotted the hills of Judea?! Let us permit Ellen
White to answer her own question as to "where shall we go to?"
after God has been removed from the church by a New Movement we were never to
join: Christ as a protestant--"Christ was a
protestant...The Reformers date back to Christ and the apostles. They came
out and separated themselves from a religion of forms and ceremonies. Luther
and his followers did not invent the reformed religion. They simply accepted
it as presented by Christ and the apostles." E.G. White, Review and
Herald, vol. 2, 48, col. 2. "The Sanhedrin had rejected Christ's
message and was bent upon His death; therefore Jesus departed from Jerusalem,
from the priests, the temple, the religious leaders, the people who had been
instructed in the law, and turned to another class to proclaim His message,
and to gather out those who should carry the gospel to all nations. As the
light and life of men was rejected by the ecclesiastical authorities in the
days of Christ, so it has been rejected in every succeeding generation.
Again and again the history of Christ's withdrawal from Judea has been
repeated. When the Reformers preached the word of God, they had no thought of
separating themselves from the established church; but the religious leaders
would not tolerate the light, and those that bore it were forced to seek
another class, who were longing for the truth. In our day few of the
professed followers of the Reformers are actuated by their spirit. Few are
listening for the voice of God, and ready to accept truth in whatever guise
it may be presented. Often those who follow in the steps of the Reformers are
forced to turn away from the churches they love, in order to declare the
plain teaching of the word of God. And many times those who are seeking for
light are by the same teaching obliged to leave the church of their fathers,
that they may render obedience." E.G. White, Desire of Ages,
232. There are tens of thousands of SDA home
churches around the world. Is God in their presence? "God has a church. It is not the great
cathedral, neither is it the national establishment, various denominations; it
is the people who love God and keep His commandments. 'Where two or three are
gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them' (Matt. 18:20).
Where Christ is even among the humble few, this is Christ's church, for the
presence of the High and Holy One who inhabiteth eternity can alone
constitute a church. "The recreant priests added
licentiousness to the dark catalogue of their crimes; yet they still polluted
by their presence the tabernacle of the Lord, and, laden with sin, dared to
come into the presence of a holy God. As the men of Israel witnessed the
corrupt course of the priests, they thought it safer for their families not
to come up to the appointed place of worship. Many went from Shiloh with
their peace disturbed, their indignation aroused, until they at last
determined to offer their sacrifices themselves, concluding that this would
be fully as acceptable to God, as to sanction in any manner the abominations
practiced in the Sanctuary." E.G. White, The Signs of the Times, vol. 1,
p. 264, col. 3, December 1, 1881. "A Firmament of Chosen Ones.--Among
earth's inhabitants, scattered in every land, there are those who have not
bowed the knee to Baal. Like the stars of heaven, which appear only at night,
these FAITHFUL ONES will shine forth when darkness covers the earth and gross
darkness the people. In heathen Africa, in the Catholic lands of Europe and
of South America, in China, in India, in the islands of the sea, and in all
the dark corners of the earth, God has in reserve a firmament of CHOSEN ONES
that will yet shine forth amidst the darkness, revealing clearly to an
apostate world the transforming power of obedience to His law. Even now they
are appearing IN EVERY NATION, AMONG EVERY TONGUE AND PEOPLE; and in the hour
of deepest apostasy, when Satan's supreme effort is made to cause 'all, both
small and great, rich and poor, free and bond,' to receive, under penalty of
death, the sign of allegiance to a false rest day, these faithful ones,
'blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke,' will 'shine as
light in the world.'" The darker the night, the more brilliantly will

triumphant--the church in heaven--will be permitted to draw near to the
members of the church militant, to aid them in their necessity." E. G.
White, The Southern Watchman, Sep. 8, 1903. "Those who think that the church militant
is the church triumphant make a great mistake." E.G. White, The Upward
Look, 152. "Characteristics of True Reformers.--Here
are given the characteristics of those who shall be reformers, who will bear
the banner of the third angel's message, those who avow themselves God's
commandment-keeping people, and who honor God, and are earnestly engaged, in
the sight of all the universe, in building up the old waste places. Who is it
that calls them, The repairers of the breach, The restorers of paths to dwell
in? It is God. Their names are registered [written--Heb. 12:22, 23] in heaven
as reformers, restorers, as raising the foundations of many
generations." E. G. White, SDA Bible Commentary, Vol. 4, 1151. The Option of Home Churches
Rom 16:5 Likewise [greet] the church that is
in their house. Salute my well beloved Epaenetus, who is the firstfruits of
Achaia unto Christ. 1Cr 1:11: For it hath been declared unto me of you, my
brethren, by them [which are of the house] of Chloe, that there are
contentions among you. 1Cr 16:15: I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of
Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and [that] they have
addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,) 1Cr 16:19: The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and
Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their
house. "There is a little hope in one direction:
Take the young men and women, and place them where they will come as little
in contact with our churches as possible, that the low grade of piety which
is current in this day shall not leaven their ideas
of what it means to be a Christian." E.G. White, Manuscript Release
#995, p. 5. When the young men and women were kept away
from the Alpha of apostasy in the church, what did they do; where did they
meet for worship?
The above scenario is the prescribed mode for
the worship service of every Seventh-day Adventist church in Testimonies,
vol. 7, pp. Notice:
The Lord has shown this writer that at the
end-time, all formally organized church denominations [represented as Seven
Women--symbolic of all inclusiveness] will be doing according to the
following texts: "And in that day seven women [all
formally organized churches] shall take hold of one man [Christ], saying We
will eat our own bread [our own doctrines and commandments of men], and wear
our own apparel [our own robes of self-righteousness], only let us be called
by thy name [Christians], to take away our reproach. In that day shall the
branch of the Lord [His bride and her sons and daughters Isa. 62] be
beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and
comely for them that are escaped of Israel. And it shall come to pass, that
he that is left in Zion [the heavenly church triumphant Heb. 12:22, 23], and
he that remaineth in [New] Jerusalem [Rev. 3:12] shall be called holy, even
every one that is written [registered] among the living in [New] Jerusalem:
When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and
shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof [from and by
the heavenly Zion and New Jerusalem--the heavenly kingdom from which and by
which the bad are shaken Matt. 13:45-50 and Heb. 12:22, 23] by the spirit of
judgment, and by the spirit of burning. And the Lord will create upon every
dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by
day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall
be a defense. And there shall be a tabernacle for a
shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a
covert from storm and from rain." Isaiah 4:1-6. All Bible commentaries agree that Isaiah
chapters 2 through 4 are end-time in context. The bad are shaken out of the
heavenly kingdom of Zion [Matt. 13:45-50 and Heb. 12:22, 23] whether or not
they have ever been members of heavenly Zion. They merely have to reject her
message to be shaken out. "And the Lord said unto me, A conspiracy
is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem (the
church--Ezekiel 9). They are turned back to the iniquities of their
forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went after other gods
to serve them; the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my
covenant which I made with their fathers. . . . God certainly desired that the organized
church fulfill its mission and commission to the world, but can God spread
the Word without a formally organized church? Notice: "A Firmament of Chosen Ones.--Among

Prophets and Kings, pp. 188, 189. End Note]. What About the Tithe?
What good does it do to give the sacred tithe
to a New Movement church that has REMOVED GOD? Take the tithe and give it to
someone who is warning the church and the world, and/or make use of the tithe
in doing this amongst your home church. Just make sure it is expended solely
for the purpose of disseminating the gospel to the world and the truth to the
church. Ellen White Article (Cont): He shows them that all selfishness, all pride,
all self-exaltation, all unbelief and prejudice, which lead to resistance of
the truth and turn away from the true light, are dangerous, and unless
repented of, those who cherish these things will be left in darkness as was
the Jewish nation. Let every soul now seek to answer the prayer of Christ.
Let every soul echo that prayer in mind, in petitions, in exhortations, that
they all may be one even as Christ is one with the Father, and work to this
end. In the place of turning the weapons of warfare within our own ranks, let
them be turned against the enemies of God and of the truth. Echo the prayer
of Christ with your whole heart: "Holy Father, keep through thine own
name those whom thou has given me, that they may be one, as we are. . . . I
pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou
shouldest keep them from the evil." Also this prayer which He offers to
interpret the process through which His followers are sanctified: "Sanctify
them through thy truth." The door of the heart must be opened to the
Holy Spirit, for this is the sanctifier, and the truth is the medium. There
must be an acceptance of the truth as it is in Jesus. This is the only
genuine sanctification: "Thy word is truth." O read the prayer of
Christ for unity, "Keep through thine own name those whom thou hast
given me, that they may be one, as we are." The prayer of Christ is not
only for those who are now His disciples, but for all those who shall believe
on Christ through the words of His disciples, even to the end of the world.
Jesus was just about to yield up His life to bring life and immortality to
light. Christ, amid His sufferings, and being daily rejected of men, looks
down the lines two thousand years to His church which would be in existence
in the last days, before the close of this earth's history. The Lord has had a church from that day, through all the changing scenes of time to the present period, 1893. The Bible sets before us a model church. They are to be in unity with each other, and with God. When believers are united to Christ the living vine, the result is that they are one with Christ, full of sympathy and tenderness and love. When anyone is drawing apart from the organized body of God's commandment-keeping people, when he begins to weigh the church in his human scales, and begins to pronounce judgment against them, then you may know that God is not leading him. He is on the wrong track. [Note by Ron Beaulieu--We must never weigh the
church according to our own personal human scales, but is Isaiah 8:20 our
human scale? Are the Testimonies our human scale? According to Isaiah 8:20,
can we judge whether or not a church is speaking according to the
commandments of God and the Testimony? Is that weighing according to our
personal human scales? When folk have left any of the fallen churches because
of weighing and JUDGING THEM according to Isaiah 8:20, were they weighing
according to their "human scales?" If a church removes God by
certain prophesied specifications, and we can see plainly that each of those
specifications have been fulfilled by the church, is that weighing according
to our own personal scales? Would "God's commandment-keeping
people" REMOVE GOD, and replace pillar doctrines with the intellectual
philosophy of man? End note]. Ellen White's Article (Cont): Constantly, men and women are arising who
become restless and uneasy, who want to set up some new contrivance; to do
some wonderful thing. Satan watches his opportunity to give them something to
do in this line. God has given to every man his work. There are opportunities
and privileges in the church to help those who are ready to die, and to
inspire the church with zeal, but not to tear the church to pieces. [Note by Ron Beaulieu--Is it a NEW CONTRIVANCE
for men and women "among" the church to become restless, uneasy,
and set up AN OMEGA OF APOSTASY NEW MOVEMENT--NEW ORGANIZATION THAT HAS
REMOVED GOD AND REPLACED PILLAR DOCTRINES WITH THE INTELLECTUAL PHILOSOPHY OF
MAN, and then make that New Movement so powerful that no one is allowed to
stand in its way? Does it "tear the church to pieces," to form a
New Movement AMONG SDA's, replace pillar doctrines with the intellectual
philosophy of men, and "REMOVE GOD?" Selected Messages, Book 1,
204-5. Notice who Ellen White indicts as being guilty of this very thing: "A new order of things has COME INTO the
ministry. There is a desire to pattern after other churches and
simplicity and humility are almost unknown. The young ministers seek to
be original, and to introduce new ideas and new plans for labor. Some
open revival meetings, and by this means call large numbers into the church.
But when the excitement is over, where are the converted ones? Repentance and
confession of sin are not seen. The sinner is entreated to believe in
Christ and accept Him, without regard to his past life of sin and rebellion.
The heart is not broken. There is no contrition of soul. The supposed
converted ones have not fallen upon the Rock, Christ Jesus." E.G.
White, Selected Messages, vol. 2, pp. 18, 19. You have just read the perfect prescription
for recruiting (proselytizing) Laodiceans into the church and making the
church more Laodicean than it already was, or twice the child of hell it was:
Mat 23:15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees,
hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is
made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves. "If the church of God becomes LUKEWARM [LAODICEAN] it does not stand in favor with God any more than do the churches that are represented as having fallen and become the habitation of devils and the hold of every foul spirit and the cage of every unclean and hateful bird. Those who have had opportunities to hear and receive the truth, and who have united with the Seventh-day Adventist church, calling themselves the commandment keeping people of God, and yet possess no more vitality and consecration to God than do the nominal churches, will receive of the plagues of God just as verily as the churches who oppose the law of God." E.G. White, Letter 35, 1898. If the other fallen churches are called Babylon, and the professing SDA Laodicean church is not looked upon by God with any more favor than those that are called Babylon, then is it any consolation to not be called Babylon, but to receive no more favor of God than those who are called Babylon? Babylon is error and confusion because of error. We will find further evidence in this study that a church does not need to adopt ALL the errors of Babylon to qualify for the title of Babylon. What
Pillar Doctrines Have Been Changed?
As Ellen White stated, we are not to recount the mere faults and defects of the church. But friend, we are duty bound by Isaiah 58:1, to cry aloud and show the House of Jacob its open sins that are of an apostate and/or heretical nature. Scripture and Ellen White both say that only those who "sigh and cry for the abominations in the church" will receive the mark of the Man in Linen, Ezekiel 9, Testimonies, Vol. 5, p. 210. This mark is the Seal of God. So leaving the mere faults and defects alone, what are the serious heresies and apostasies of the church?
Personality of God and of Christ Landmarks: "Those who seek to remove the old landmarks are not holding fast; they are not remembering how they have received and heard. Those who try to bring in theories that would remove the pillars of our faith concerning the sanctuary or concerning the personality of God or of Christ, are working as blind men. They are seeking to bring in uncertainties and to set the people of God adrift without an anchor." Ellen G. White, (MR760 9.5). The adoption of the Trinity doctrine in the early 1930's, was such a venture into the Omega Heresy, because it works counter to Scripture and Ellen White as regards the Godhead. For example, Ellen White said that the Holy Spirit is the life and soul of Christ. The trinity doctrine does not teach this vital truth. It teaches that the Holy Spirit is a third life and soul apart from the life and soul of Christ. This is no subtle splitting of hairs concerning the Godhead. At His Incarnation, Christ laid aside His first estate which was constituted of ONLY the ONE ETERNAL SPIRIT, which essence and substance constituted the Father also. Christ was then re-constituted into another FULLY DIVINE person combined with humanity, but His ONE ETERNAL HOLY SPIRIT was wholly divested of the personality of His humanity and totally independent thereof, and became the third person representative of Christ at the Incarnation. The Holy Spirit had always existed as the ONE ETERNAL ESSENCE AND SUBSTANCE of the Father and the Son, and thus participated in the Everlasting Covenant from the foundation of the earth, by Christ volunteering to lay aside His Holy Spirit ONLY existence, as a regenerating agency for us, in order to restore us to the image of God, which we were created in. The Trinity doctrine, adopted by the SDA church in the early 1930's, totally denies this "highest good" sacrifice, this "crowning sacrifice," by teaching that the Holy Spirit always existed as a separate person entity. This precludes the "greatest" sacrifice Christ made for us at His Incarnation. Notice: "Cumbered with humanity Christ could not be in every place personally, therefore it was altogether for their advantage that He should leave them to go to His Father and send the Holy Spirit to be His successor on earth. The Holy Spirit is Himself divested of the personality of humanity and independent thereof. He would represent Himself as present in all places by His Holy Spirit." E.G. White, (Manuscript Releases Volume 14 (No’s 1081-1135) MR No.1084. "Christ declared that after his ascension, he would send to his church, as his crowning gift, the Comforter, who was to take his place. This Comforter is the Holy Spirit,--the soul of his life, the efficacy of his church, the light and life of the world. With his Spirit Christ sends a reconciling influence and a power that takes away sin. In the gift of the Spirit [HIS LIFE--THE SOUL OF HIS LIFE], Jesus gave to man the highest good that heaven could bestow.... The Spirit was given as a regenerating agency, and without this the sacrifice of Christ would have been of no avail.... It is by the Spirit that the heart is made pure. Through the Spirit the believer becomes a partaker of the divine nature. Christ has given his Spirit as a divine power to overcome all hereditary and cultivated tendencies to evil, and to impress his own character upon the church." E.G. White, Review and Herald Articles, May 19, 1904, vol. 5, p. 42. So the Trinity doctrine of the Godhead, denies the "highest good" and "crowning gift" of Christ to mankind, by saying that the Holy Spirit was not the life and soul of the Son, laid aside as a gift to us at the His Incarnation, but was rather a third person other than the soul and life of the Son, which had always existed as a third person with the Father and the Son. This is the heresy of all heresies, and for SDA's the apostasy of all apostasies, because when they adopted the Trinity doctrine in 1930-31, they "returned to the iniquity of their forefathers," the Catholics, who adopted the Trinity doctrine centuries before. Many will not see the seriousness of this heresy and this apostasy. They will not see how this reflects on the personality and presence of God and His Son, Christ Jesus. What has the personality and presence of the Father to do with all this? The Holy Spirit is the medium by which BOTH the Father and Son come to us. God says: We will come to you. Notice:
The Father and the Son both come to us via the Holy Ghost gift and sacrifice of the Son, of His Holy Spirit Being, at His Incarnation. That is how the personality and presence of God and Christ are implicated in the Omega of Heresies and the Omega of Apostasy Nothing could be more fundamental and "pillar" to a church than its understanding of the Godhead. The Trinity doctrine is the central doctrine of the Catholic church, and supports all of its errors. Ellen White taught a heavenly trio, but her teaching differs from the Trinity doctrine in-so-far as she teaches that the Holy Spirit is the life and soul of Christ, and that the Holy Spirit (One Eternal Spirit) was divested from Christ and became independent of Him at His incarnation, and was thus laid aside as a regenerating gift to us. This accords with Scripture because when Christ says that He will send the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, He says in John 14:16-18: "I [Christ] will come to you." The above noted items are not in the category of mere faults and defects of the church, such as every church group has/had--even Christ's group of disciples included. They are major Omega of Apostasy heresies, which have effectively and essentially REMOVED GOD from the church, and for which the SDA church militant will be "broken in pieces," Isaiah 8:9-12. End note]. Ellen White's Article (Cont): There are plenty of opportunities in the church to walk in Christ's lines. If the heart is full of zeal to press on to a deeper sanctification and holiness, then work in that line in all humbleness and devotedness. The church needs freshness and the inspiration of men who breathe in the very atmosphere of heaven, to vitalize the church, notwithstanding the tares are among the wheat." [Note by Ron Beaulieu--The tares and the wheat are to grow together till the harvest, but not thorns with the wheat and tares, for the thorns choke out the wheat, and make it impossible for the wheat to mature, says Scripture and Ellen White. Indeed, one of the major destructive and heretical errors of the church is to determine to NEVER AGAIN show the House of Jacob its sins (Testimonies, Vol. 5, 211), and to retain OPEN SINNERS (THORNS) in the church, making it impossible, even by the church's own admission, for the wheat to mature. End note]. Scripture and Ellen White attest that OPEN SINNERS are to be reformed or removed from the church if they will not reform. But leadership will "NEVER AGAIN show the house of Jacob its sins," which is entirely requisite to any semblance of a reformation. How could such a church be the church which expels the tares and becomes the church triumphant?! How could such a church which forms a New Movement that removes God, be the church that expels the tares to become the church triumphant at the end-time?! How could such a church fail to fall, as Ezekiel 13 says it will?! How could Ellen G. White say that the church leaders would NEVER AGAIN SHOW THE HOUSE OF JACOB ITS SINS, and at the same time believe that the church militant will EVER become the church triumphant?! [End note]. Ellen White's Article (Cont): If good men and humble men will take up their duty just where it is, to help those who are ready to die, they will be a great blessing to the church. There are unconverted men in the church, and if those who are so longing to show their zeal for the Lord will seek these poor souls and work with patience and perseverance to win them to Jesus, God would work with them. "Ye are laborers together with God," not to tear down and destroy, but to restore. "Make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way." There is an abundance of work that is needed to be done in home missions, and in exercising the talents God has given us, for wise improvement. We may become skillful as a tradesman in His business by practice. We want to become skillful in the trade of working to bless souls, learning to save souls. This requires prayer, and earnest, persevering effort, and a willingness to work in a humble way. If the money that has been needlessly expended in the doing of works that God has not sent men to do at all, had been employed economically in ways that are simple and safe for the progress and upbuilding of Christ's kingdom in the world, instead of helping Satan to cast upon the kingdom of Christ reproach, and clothing His church with filthy garments as Satan is doing, and urging them into false positions by using the reproofs and corrections that God has given them to show them their sin; what a great work would have been laid upon the foundation stone. [Note by Ron Beaulieu--It might be helpful at this point if we recall Ellen White's definition of a harlot and Babylon. Here are her words: "In Revelation 17, Babylon is represented as a woman, a figure which is used in the Scriptures as the symbol of a church. A virtuous woman represents a pure church, a vile woman an apostate church. Babylon is said to be a HARLOT; and the prophet beheld her drunken with the blood of saints and martyrs. The Babylon thus described represents Rome, that apostate church which has so cruelly persecuted the followers of Christ. But Babylon the HARLOT is the mother of DAUGHTERS [WHO ARE SISTERS]who follow her example of corruption. Thus are represented those churches that cling to the doctrines and traditions of Rome and follow her worldly practices, and whose fall is announced in the second angel's message." E.G. White, The Spirit of Prophecy Volume Four, p. 233, (Not to be confused with Testimonies, Vol. 4). We
can draw some very important conclusions from the above statement, such as:
It was indeed a "false position" for Stanton and Caldwell to call the church a harlot and Babylon at a time, even though the time was short, during which the church was experiencing some repentance and refreshing from the Lord. However, are there grades of harlotry? Does God have a list of graded acts of harlotry? It appears that such might be the case! Why? Because there is a point at which harlotry goes beyond the pale of God's forgiveness. Read Jeremiah 11:9-15, for an example as to when we are not to even pray for a backslidden people of God. There is no restoration possible after crossing a forbidden line. In Jeremiah 11:9-15, God's people returned to the iniquities of their forefathers. SDA's have done the same thing in at least four unpardonable ways: 1. By adopting Rome's central
doctrinal error, the Trinity doctrine. 2. By ecumenical association,
counsel, girding and confederacy, which is strictly forbidden by the Word of
God, Isaiah 8:9-16, and for which the church will be "broken in
pieces." "Any connection with infidels and UNBELIEVERS which would identify us with them is FORBIDDEN by the word. We are to come out from them and be separate. in no case are we to link ourselves with them in their plans or work." E. G. White, Fundamentals of Christian Education, 482. 3. The church became united
and married to the world by adopting its Accreditation Standards around the
same time it adopted the Trinity doctrine, the early 1930's.
Ecumenism or one visible "body of Christ" church is the goal of Rome, and all who do not believe and teach the Trinity doctrine are proclaimed anathema by her. So, has the SDA church returned to the iniquities of its forefathers and the world, by adopting its Accreditation Standards? Yes indeed! Notice the inclusion of "worldly practices" in Ellen White's above definition of a harlot and Babylon. 4. Another way the SDA church
has become associated with being a harlot of Babylon, is by permitting the
practice of licentious and unlawful intimacy of its pastorate. Vance Ferrell,
a credentialed minister in the church, has cited incident after incident of
the church merely moving an adulterous pastor from one locality to another.
This has set a wrong example for the people. This has led to SDA's having a
divorce rate commensurate with that of the world. Notice: "We must as a people arouse and cleanse the camp of Israel. Licentiousness, unlawful intimacy, and unholy practices are coming in among us in a large degree...We are in danger of becoming a sister to fallen Babylon, of allowing our churches to become corrupted and filled with every foul spirit, a cage for every unclean and hateful bird, and will we be clear unless we make decided movements to cure the existing evil? E. G. White, Manuscript Releases No. 449, pp. 17, 18. (Letter 51, 1886 to Elder Butler) Testimonies on Sexual Behavior, Adultery, and Divorce, p. 193. For another example of "crossing God's line in the sand," Ellen White said that all who heard and understood the first and second angel's messages and the Midnight Cry in 1844, but who rejected those messages, received a closed door on salvation. She never recanted on that part of her "closed door" proclamation. She was shown that in her first vision found in Word to the Little Flock, p. 14. She said they fell off the path and it was impossible for them to get back on again. For SDA's to violate the second angel's message as well as the Midnight Cry, by realigning themselves with the churches they came out of, via ecumenical association, counsel, girding and confederacy, they thus go beyond God's line in the sand and they are not restored, they are then slated for "breaking in pieces." God repeated these words three times in Isaiah 8:9-12, and of course, this signifies the severity of the sentence proclaimed in those words. End note]. Ellen White's Article (Cont): "Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is." I would caution all believers to learn to maintain a godly jealousy over yourselves, lest Satan shall steal your heart away from God, and you slip unconsciously into work in Satan's lines, without perceiving that you have changed leaders, and be found in the treacherous power of a tyrant. We are as a church to be wide awake, and to work for the erring among us, as laborers together with God. We are furnished with spiritual weapons, mighty to the pulling down of the fortress of the enemy. We are not to hurl the thunderbolts against the church of Christ militant; for Satan is doing all he possibly can in this line, and you who claim to be the remnant of the people of God had better not be found helping him, denouncing, accusing, and condemning. Some have said that Willie White told someone that he overheard his mother say something to the effect that the SDA church would never become so bad that it would cease to exist. That is very true of the SDA church triumphant, but the SDA church militant erroneously applies that statement to itself. In fact, the SDA church militant takes every statement that Ellen White ever applied to the SDA Church Triumphant, and misapplies such to itself! For anyone to conclude that the SDA church militant will reform and become reconciled to God, and become the church from which the tares are purged, to leave it the church triumphant, is to make Ellen White and Ezekiel false prophets for the following reasons:
Restoration--restoring, is a nice concept, but recall Ellen White's prophecy that "nothing would be allowed to stand in the way of the Omega of Apostasy New Movement. So time, place and circumstance , become extremely crucial in our concluding considerations. Ellen White warned us to take time, place and circumstance into consideration. Will you do it, or will you apply her analysis of the church in 1898, to the state of the church in 2004? Many will make that great mistake to their eternal peril. Many would interpret the above ending of Ellen White's article as a reason to excuse the church militant of all her abominations no matter what she might do. But given Mrs. White's data on the Omega of Apostasy heresies, it would be a spiritual crime of the greatest magnitude to sit back in a spirit of indifference and do nothing. Notice: Indifference and Neutrality in a Crisis: "If God abhors one sin above another, of which HIS PEOPLE are guilty, it is of doing nothing in a case of emergency. Indifference or neutrality in a religious crisis is regarded of God as a grievous crime; and equal to the very worst type of hostility against God." E.G. White, Review and Herald, vol. 1, p. 136. Also, Testimonies, vol. 3, p. 281. Let us permit Ellen White to summarize our position in this day of the Omega apostasy of the church: "To secure peace and unity they [the reformers in context] were ready to make any concession consistent with fidelity to God; but they felt that even peace would be too dearly purchased at the sacrifice of principle. If unity could be secured only by the compromise of truth and righteousness, then let there be difference, and even war." E.G. White, The Great Controversy, p. 45, 1911 edition. Some will continue in a spirit of indifference and be destroyed in the next debacle of a literal manifestation of Ezekiel 9, in which men, maidens and little children will perish without mercy, Testimonies, Vol. 5, 211, as was the case in the last Ezekiel 9 debacle occurring in A.D. 70, and depicted in The Great Controversy, chapter 1, which Ellen White said was a PREFIGURE of the next literal Ezekiel 9 destruction. However, in that PREFIGURE TYPE, true prophets warned the people to flee the wrath to come. All who did, escaped and were saved. All who did not heed the admonitions of God's true prophets, stayed for the slaying. "Although Israel had "mocked the messengers of God, and despised
His words, and misused His prophets" (2 Chronicles 36:16), He had still
manifested Himself to them, as "the Lord God, merciful and gracious,
long-suffering, and abundant in goodness and truth" (Exodus 34:6);
notwithstanding repeated rejections, His mercy had continued its pleadings. With
more than a father's pitying love for the son of his care, God had "sent
to them by His messengers, rising up betimes, and sending; because He had
compassion on His people, and on His dwelling place." 2 Chronicles
36:15. When remonstrance, entreaty, and rebuke had failed, He sent to
them the best gift of heaven; nay, He poured out all heaven in that one Gift. The
Apostate Church Bribed False Prophets to Convince the People to Stay for the
Ezekiel 9 Slaughter
"Yet in their blind and blasphemous presumption the instigators of this hellish work publicly declared that they had no fear that Jerusalem would be destroyed, for it was God's own city (Church). To establish their power more firmly, THEY BRIBED FALSE PROPHETS to proclaim, even while Roman legions were besieging the temple, that the people were to wait for deliverance from God. To the last, multitudes held fast to the belief that the Most High would interpose for the defeat of their adversaries. But Israel had spurned the divine protection, and now she had no defense. Unhappy Jerusalem! rent by INTERNAL DISSENSIONS, the blood of her children slain by one another's hands crimsoning her streets, while alien armies beat down her fortifications and slew her men of war!" E.G. White, The Great Controversy, p. 29. SDA Corporate Church Brought Down to Hell! Is a Church That is Brought Down to Hell THE CHURCH And One That the Gates of Hell Will not Prevail Against? The following statement is presented just as it appears in its reference. All bracketed portions are just as Ellen White inserted them:
Such pronouncements have the ring of a true prophet! Capernaum was a corporate city, and the SDA is Biblically represented as a corporate city, the corporate city of Jerusalem. It will be brought down to hell as a corporate city [church], except for a small remnant who escape, Ezekiel 5:1-5, as was the case with Israel in the 70 A.D. destruction of Jerusalem. Also see Isaiah 37:31, 32 and compare Isaiah 4:1-4, and interpret so that neither set of verses contradict. "They that forsake the law praise the wicked.' Proverbs 28:4. When those who are uniting with the world, yet claiming great purity, plead for union with those who have ever been the opposers of the cause of truth, we should shun them as decidedly as did Nehemiah. Such counsel is prompted by the enemy of all good. It is the speech of timeservers, and should be resisted as resolutely today as them. Whatever influence would tend to unsettle the faith of God's people in His guiding power, should be steadfastly withstood." E.G. White, Prophets and Kings, p. 661. "Those who are uniting with the world [and churches that cannot be distinguished from the world, Early Writings, 273] are receiving the worldly mold and preparing for the mark of the beast." "The third angel's message will not be comprehended, the light which will lighten the earth with its glory will be called a false light, by those who refuse to walk in its advancing glory." E.G. The ever crucial, weighty question is: If we were never to join ANY NEW MOVEMENT, how can we join a New Movement--New Organization, that "came in among us," Selected Messages, Book 1, 204-5, and removed God, as part of the consequences of the Omega of Apostasy? Also, if "nothing is allowed to stand in the way of that New Movement, it has to be operated by the General Conference, because that is the only power that would be able to "allow nothing to stand in its way." Also, no New Movement could "remove God," from the church unless it was sanctioned by the General Conference. Proof absolute that this New Movement is the professing, organized church militant, is the fact that Ellen White says that another manifestation of Ezekiel 9 will be literally fulfilled. The last manifestation of Ezekiel 9 involved a corporate church, the apostate Jewish church, which was destroyed in a PREFIGURE destruction--that of A.D. 70. Three thirds--the entire church was destroyed AFTER a small remnant was "taken in His skirt," and escaped, Ezekiel 5:1-3. So it will be again. You have been forewarned, Ron Beaulieu |
