posting (SOP): Of the Amorites, the Lord said, “In the
fourth generation they shall come hither again, for the iniquity of the
Amorites is not yet full.” Although this nation was conspicuous because of
its idolatry and corruption, it had not yet filled up the cup of its iniquity,
and God would not give command for its utter destruction. The people were to
see the divine power manifested in a marked manner, that
they might be left without excuse. The compassionate Creator was willing to
bear with their iniquity until the fourth generation. Then, if no change was
seen for the better, His judgments were to fall upon them. {CET 186.1} May we consider somehow, I don't know
exactly how, but may we consider this generation of ours the fourth
generation starting with 1844 or earlier the beginning of the revolutionary
war against God's authority (French Revolution)? Do you know what I mean, it
is about the time of God's Judgment according to His Holy Law, in its final

generation. It is interesting that 2019 is seven years from 2012 which is
just about upon us. It is generally reckoned that a biblical generation is

represents the length of a generation, as described in Psalm 90:9,10, one
would expect the life span of those living today to be close to that figure.
According to the 2002 World Almanac and Book of Facts, the average life
expectancy in the United States is 77.26 years (74.37 years for males and
80.05 years for females). For Israel it is 78.71 years (76.69 years for males
and 80.84 years for females). The average life expectancy at birth for Israel
is projected to be 81.6 years in the year 2025. 3" If we count 40 years as a generation, 160 years from 1844
would be 2004. That would begin the generation during which judgments would
begin to fall if there was no change for the better, and things are only
getting worse. No man knows the exact time. If we should die today, our
probation would close today. This is a somber fact
to remember. This would be like Jesus
coming today for that would be the next realization of which such ones would
be cognizant upon being resurrected. “This is our message, the very message that the three angels flying in the midst of heaven are
proclaiming. The work to be done now is that of sounding this last message of
mercy to a fallen world. A new life is coming from heaven and taking possession of
all God's people. But divisions will come in the church. Two parties will be
developed. The wheat and tares grow up together for the harvest. The work
will grow deeper and become more earnest to the very close of time. And all
who are laborers together with God will contend
most earnestly for the faith once delivered to the saints. They will not be
turned from the present message, which is already lightening the earth with
its glory. Nothing is worth contending for but the glory of God. The only
rock that will stand is the Rock of Ages. The truth as it is in Jesus is the
refuge in these days of error. Be assured that God gives no one authority
to say that Christ delays His coming five years, ten years, or twenty years. "Be ye
also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh"
[Matt. 24:44]. This is our message, the very message that the three
