What does it mean to be saved by Grace and not works.
James says we are justified by faith and works. Paul says we are not
justified by works but Grace alone. How should these "apparent"
contradictions be interpreted.
The answer to this enigma is that Paul was trying to
convince the very legalistic Jews that they would not be saved by:
·
WORKS OF THEIR OWN that were not motivated by
self-sacrificing faith the works by love for God and our fellow man.
·
Works that are not effected by the aid of the Holy Spirit’s
power.
The gold tried in the fire says Ellen White, is exactly
that: faith that works by love. What is Grace? Mainline Christianity
defines grace ONLY along the lines of PARDON. But grace is also POWER
given for obedience, Romans 1:5. Here is another definition of GRACE as
given by Ellen White:
“They must have His grace, the Spirit of Christ, to help their infirmities, or they cannot form a
Christian character. Jesus loves to have us come to Him, just as we
are—sinful, helpless, dependent.” Faith
and Works, p. 38.
“There must be a power
working from within, a new life from above, before man can be
changed from sin to holiness. That
power is Christ. His grace [the Spirit of
Christ] alone can quicken the
lifeless faculties of the soul, and attract it to God, to holiness.” (ST,
May 28, 1902, par. 3).
If one takes all Paul said into consideration, along with
the proper Bible and Spirit of Prophecy definitions of GRACE, Paul taught
exactly as James, that we are saved, justified, by faith AND works. Here
is the proof you need:
Rom 1:5 By whom we
have received grace and apostleship, for
obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:
Rom 4:2 For if Abraham were justified by
works, he hath [whereof] to glory; but not before God.
Gal 2:16 Knowing that a man is not
justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even
we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith
of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall
no flesh be justified.
Jam 2:21 Was not Abraham our father
justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the
altar?
Jam 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a
man is justified, and not by faith only.
Jam 2:25 Likewise also was not Rahab the
harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had
sent [them] out another way?
Jam 2:23 And the scripture was
fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him
for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
Did Paul Really Agree with James?
Rom 4:3 For what
saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for
righteousness.
Gal 3:6 Even as
Abraham believed God, and it was accounted
to him for righteousness.
Jam 2:23 And the
scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was
imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of
God.

Question: Would Abraham
have demonstrated faith that He believed God, if he HAD NOT performed
the WORK of offering up His son Isaac? Of course not! So it was his
faith that worked from a motive of self-sacrificing love for God, that
resulted in Abraham’s belief (faith) being ACCOUNTED (IMPUTED) unto him
for righteousness.
So what Paul is saying in
Romans 4:3 (above) is that if one does works motivated by self-sacrificing
faith in and love for God, it will be COUNTED—ACCOUNTED—IMPUTED unto him/her for righteousness. Is that
not far different from ONE’S OWN SELF doing works out of his/her’s OWN the
personal, power and selfish motive to avoid being lost?
Proper works are effected
by the GRACE--POWER of the Holy Spirit, which, if one accepts the wooings
of that Spirit, and yields his/her own will to the will of God, in
self-sacrificing love motivated works based on faith, then those works
are imputed, counted, as righteousness. Why? Because the Holy Spirit that
provides the power for those kind of works is righteous, not the human
who works. But nevertheless, the human is thus counted as righteous.
So, recalling Romans 1:5,
where it says GRACE is given for obedience and Ellen White’s statement
that GRACE is the spirit of Christ to help our infirmities: “They must have His grace, the Spirit of Christ, to help their infirmities, or they cannot form a
Christian character. Jesus loves to have us come to Him, just as we
are—sinful, helpless, dependent.” Faith
and Works, p. 38, then we can rightly interpret grace as POWER in
each of the following verses of the Bible, and there are many others.
This is just a small sampling:
1Pe 5:5 Likewise, ye
younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all [of you] be subject
one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the
proud, and giveth grace (POWER)
to the humble.
1Pe 5:10 But the God of
all grace (POWER), who
hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have
suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle
[you].
1Pe 5:12 By Silvanus, a
faithful brother unto you, as I suppose, I have written briefly,
exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace (POWER) of God wherein ye stand.
2Pe 1:2 Grace (POWER) and peace be
multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our
Lord,
2Pe 3:18 But grow in grace (POWER), and [in]
the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him [be] glory
both now and for ever. Amen.
2Jo 1:3 Grace (POWER) be with you,
mercy, [and] peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ,
the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
Jud 1:4 For there are
certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this
condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace (POWER) of our God into lasciviousness, and denying
the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Rev 1:4 John to the seven
churches which are in Asia: Grace
(POWER) [be] unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which
was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before
his throne;
Rev 22:21 The grace (POWER) of our Lord
Jesus Christ [be] with you all. Amen.
Rom 1:5 By whom we
have received grace (POWER)
and apostleship, for obedience
to the faith among all nations, for his name:
Whew! So glad that Paul and James REALLY don’t contradict
one another in the least! Paul merely meant to teach the legalistic,
personal works oriented Jews, that works OF THEIR OWN, without the GRACE
POWER of the Holy Spirit, without faith that works by self-sacrificing love for God, WILL NOT SAVE! Such works are
DEAD WORKS. No eternal life-saving POWER in then whatsoever!
So mainline Christianity, and now much of apostate
Seventh-day Adventism, believes and teaches the HALF, FALSE GOSPEL that
grace means PARDON ONLY, when grace really includes PARDON AND POWER.
That constitutes another gospel
and what did Paul have to say about another gospel?
Gal 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any
other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him
be accursed.
Gal 1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any
[man] preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let
him be accursed.

The half-gospel of
justification by pardon only, without proper works effected by the POWER
of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer, is the Doctrine of the
Nicolaitans which God especially hates:
“Doctrine of the Nicolaitans.--The doctrine is now largely
taught that the gospel of Christ has made the law of God of no effect
that by 'believing' we are released from the necessity of being doers of
the Word. But this is the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which Christ so
unsparingly condemned." E.G. White, The SDA Bible Commentary,
vol. 7, p. 957.
"(Jude 4).--The
Sin of the Nicolaitans.--Is it [our sin] the sin of the Nicolaitans,
turning the grace (POWER)
of God into lasciviousness." E.G. White, SDA Bible Commentary, Vol. 7, 957.
How does one turn the
grace power of God into lasciviousness? By teaching that one is saved by
grace as PARDON ONLY, and omitting the other half of the gospels
involving the Incarnation sacrifice of the Son of God, in order to give “the
soul of His life, His Holy Spirit, Hid Divine Nature, as Ellen White
defines it, whereby man may be regenerated back into the image of God. So
that doctrine avoids the sanctification teaching of Scripture and the
Spirit of Prophecy. That false doctrine; that false gospel; that “another
accursed gospel,” makes it IMPOSSIBLE for the wheat to mature.
Gnostic Gnosticism
"The earliest extra-Biblical Christian writer to mention
this party is Irenaeus (c. A.D. 185), who identifies the Nicolaitans as a
Gnostic sect...
There is evidence also of a Gnostic sect in the 3d cent. A.D.
bearing the name 'Nicolaitans.'
"...The doctrine of the Nicolaitans appears to have been a
form of antinomianism (see SDACom 7:957). Nicolaitans of the 2d cent.
seem to have continued and extended the views of the 1st-cent. adherents,
holding to the freedom of the flesh, and teaching that the deeds of the
flesh had no effect upon the health of the soul and consequently no
relation to salvation." SDA Bible Dictionary, Vol. 8 pp. 770,
771.
"Thorns sprung up.--The thorns made it impossible for the
wheat to mature
(see Luke 8:14). In the same way secular interests prevent the fruits of the
Spirit (Gal. 5:22, 23) from reaching maturity. Religion is relegated to
the subordinate position of being only one interest among many. For lack
of cultivation it withers and eventually dies. That which the
thorny-ground hearers lack is a moral transformation [E.G. White,
Christ's Object Lessons, p. 50] To them, justification is the sum
and substance of religion, and they fail to realize that the Christian
life consists essentially in the process known as sanctification--the
process by which evil traits and tendencies are replaced by the perfect
life-pattern of Jesus Christ." Seventh-day Adventist Bible
Commentary, vol. 5, 405.
This is precisely the gospel that New Movement Seventh-day Adventists
(Selected
Messages, vol. 1, 204-205),
teaches.
“... The Lord will
not write as wise those who cannot distinguish between a tree that bears
thorn-berries and a tree that bears olives. {EGW, RH, September 7, 1897
par. 15}
"It is
IMPOSSIBLE for you to unite with those who are corrupt, and still remain
pure. (II Corinthians 6:14-15 quoted). God and Christ and the heavenly
host would have men know that if he unites with the corrupt he will
become corrupt." E. G. White, Review
and Herald, Vol. 4, p. 137.

Paul on Sanctification Versus
Justification Only
1Cr 1:30 But of him
are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and
righteousness, and sanctification,
and redemption:
1Th 4:3 For this is
the will of God, [even] your
sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:
1Th 4:4 That every
one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;
2Th 2:13 But we are
bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord,
because God hath from the beginning chosen
you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief
of the truth:
1Pe 1:2 Elect
according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through
sanctification of the Spirit, unto
obedience and sprinkling of
the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace (POWER)
unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
Hbr 5:9

being made perfect, he became the author of
eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

Ellen White said Paul
wrote Hebrews. So Paul certain taught obedience and sanctification and is
thus in fully agreement with James of Scripture. Any other gospel is
anathema, and all who believe and teach it are eternally doomed. All who
pay tithe to a an apostate system that teaches that false gospel, will be
eternally doomed. The tithe goes into a pool to pay all leaders. SDA
churches are not considered individual entities.
It is true that not
all leaders in the apostate new movement, masquerading as the Seventh-day
Adventist church, do not believe the false gospel. But the sacred tithe
goes AS WELL to pay those who do believe and teach the false gospel, and
the flagship publications of the church teach that false gospel. This
makes the entire camp corporately responsible for that false gospel:
Corporate responsibility
"The plain straight testimony must live in the church, or
the curse of God will rest upon His people as surely as it did upon
ancient Israel because of their sins. God holds His people, as a body
[corporately], responsible for the sins existing in individuals among
them." Testimonies, vol. 3, p. 269.
The principle of corporate responsibility relates to Joshua
chapters 6 and 7, the story of Achan and family. Some might counter that
that account applied to the theocracy of Israel and try to say that we
are not a theocracy. Ellen White said we are a theocracy:
Theocracy -- "God's people have been called out of the
world, that they may be separated from the world. It is not safe for them
to take sides in politics, whatever preference they may have. They are
ever to remember that they are one in Christ. God calls upon them to enter their names as under His
THEOCRACY. He cannot approve of those who link up with worldlings
[and churches which cannot be distinguished from the world, Early
Writings, 273]. We are entirely out of our place when we identify
ourselves with party interests....
God has chosen a people who are to proclaim the third angel's
message to the world. They are to be a separate and peculiar people in
this world of churches who are transgressing His commandments." E.G.
White Manuscript

“Who are standing in the counsel of God at this time? Is it those
who virtually excuse wrongs among the professed people of God, and murmur
in their hearts, if not openly, against those who would reprove sin? It
is those who take their stand against them, and sympathize with those who
commit wrong?--No, indeed! These, unless they repent, and leave the work
of Satan in oppressing those who have the burden of the work, and in
holding up the hands of sinners in Zion, will never receive the mark of
God's sealing approval. They will fall in the general destruction of all the
wicked, represented by the five men bearing slaughter weapons. Mark this
point with care; those who receive the pure mark of truth, wrought in
them by the power of the Holy Ghost, represented by the man in linen, are
those "that sigh and cry for all the abominations that are
done" in the church. Their love for purity and the honor and
glory of God is such, and they have so clear a view of the exceeding
sinfulness of sin, that they are represented as being in an agony, even
sighing and crying.” {RH, June 8,
1886 par. 2}
The Trinity Doctrine smuggled into the SDA church in 1930, by
Leroy Froom, supports the false Roman Catholic gospel of sin repent, sin
repent. How? Why? Because that doctrine denies the sacrifice by which the
Holy Spirit became a third person “highest good, crowning give that
heaven could bestow,” by teaching that the Holy Spirit always existed as
a third person. That totally denies the Heavenly Sanctuary Incarnation
sacrifice whereby the soul of the life of Christ was divested from His
humanity at the Incarnation, to become a separate and distinct third
person, the Holy Ghost, given as a source of POWER that we might overcome
all sin.
The most important aspects
on the Godhead, the Incarnation Sacrifice and the Trinity abomination
are:
1. The Trinity error teaches that all three persons to
the Godhead existed from eternity.
2. The third person of the Godhead was actually Christ
combined with humanity forever via the Incarnation Sacrifice.
3. At the Incarnation, the soul of the life of
the Son, the one eternal Holy Spirit, shared by both the son and the
Father from eternity, divested Himself of the humanity of the
Son and became a third person.
4. The Son of God became the Son in a new sense when
He was combined with humanity FOREVER.
5. The Trinity Doctrine totally denies this sacrifice
of the Incarnation (Sanctuary and Atonement) by teaching that there was
always a third person to the Godhead without the Incarnation sacrifice.
6. Thus, the entire Christian economy is denied and
essentially, there would be no Incarnation Sacrifice, no Sanctuary
sacrifice in the heavenly Sanctuary and no Atonement for the sins of man.
That is the evil of the Trinity Doctrine.
All the above facts may be deduced from the following Spirit
of Prophecy and Bible data:
"Christ declared that after his ascension, he would send to
his church, as his crowning gift, the Comforter, who was to take his
place. This Comforter is the Holy Spirit,--the soul of his life, the
efficacy of his church, the light and life of the world. With his Spirit
Christ sends a reconciling influence and a power that takes away sin.
In the gift of the Spirit [HIS LIFE--THE SOUL OF HIS LIFE], Jesus
gave to man the highest good that heaven could bestow....
The Spirit was given as a regenerating agency, and without this
the sacrifice of Christ would have been of no avail....
It is by the Spirit that the heart is made pure. Through the
Spirit the believer becomes a partaker of the divine nature. Christ has
given his Spirit as a divine power to overcome all hereditary and
cultivated tendencies to evil, and to impress his own character upon the
church." E.G. White, Review
and Herald Articles, May 19, 1904, vol. 5, p. 42.
"Christ brought men and women power to overcome. He came to
this world in human form, to live a man amongst men. He assumed the
liabilities of human nature, to be proved and tried. In His thing which
shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God' (Luke 1:35). While
the Son of a human being, He became the son of God humanity He was a
partaker of the divine nature. In His Incarnation He gained in a NEW SENSE the title of the Son of
God. Said the angel to Mary, 'The power of the Highest shall overshadow
thee: therefore also that holy in a NEW SENSE. Thus He stood in our world--the Son of God, yet
allied by birth to the human race." E.G. White, Selected Messages, vol. 1, p. 226.
“They must have His grace, the Spirit of Christ, to help their infirmities,
or they cannot for a Christian character. Jesus loves to have us come to
Him, just as we are—sinful, helpless, dependent.” Faith and Works, p. 38.
“Christ gives them the breath of His own Spirit, the life of His own Life.” Desire
of Ages, p. 827, par. 3.
“The Holy Spirit is the breath of life in the soul. The
impartation of the Spirit is the impartation of the life of Christ. It
imbues the receiver with the attributes of Christ.” Desire of Ages, p. 805.

Eternal
Sacrifice
"The
apostle would call our attention from ourselves to the Author of our
salvation. He presents before us His two natures, divine and human. . . .
He voluntarily assumed human nature. It was His own act, and by His own
consent. He clothed His divinity with humanity. He was all the while as
God, but He did not appear as God. He veiled the demonstrations of Deity
which had commanded the homage, and called forth the admiration of the
universe of God. He was God while upon earth, but He divested
Himself of the form of God, and in its stead took the form and
fashion of a man. He walked the earth as a
man. For our sakes He became poor, that we through His poverty might be
made rich. He laid aside His glory and His majesty. He was God, but the glories of the form of God He
for awhile relinquished. . . . He bore the sins of the world, and
endured the penalty which rolled like a mountain upon His divine soul. He
yielded up His life a sacrifice, that man should not eternally die. He
died, not through being compelled to die, but by His own free will."
E.G. White, SDA Bible Commentary, Vol. 7a, p. 446.
"Cumbered with humanity Christ could not be in every place personally,
therefore it was altogether for their advantage that He should leave them
to go to His Father and send the Holy Spirit to be His successor on
earth. The
Holy Spirit is Himself divested of the personality of humanity and
independent thereof. He would represent Himself as present in all places by His Holy
Spirit.” E.G. White, (Manuscript
Releases Volume 14 (No’s 1081-1135) MR No.1084.
All of these
points should be made very clear in any dealing with the Godhead, or folk
will not understand what you are trying to present.
One Eternal Spirit
Jhn 4:24 God [is] a Spirit: and they that
worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth.
“They have one God and one Saviour; and one Spirit—the
Spirit of Christ” (9T p. 289)
“Now the Lord is the
Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is; there is Liberty.” (2 Cor.
3:17)
“For as the Father hath
life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself.”
John 5:26.
"He (Christ) suffered the death which was ours, that we
might receive the life which WAS His." Desire of Ages, p. 25
1 Cor. 11:24-265, cf. John 6:53, 54, Titus 3:5, 6.
On the cross, He died
the eternal death of the sinner, from which there can be no hope of a
resurrection; that we might receive the eternal life-in-Himself, which
had been His. This eternal life was the entity of the Holy Ghost. A ghost
is the image – the living spirit – of one who has died. At death, it
returned to God who gave it. Christ was the eternal Son of God by virtue
of the eternal Spirit of life which the Father had shared with His
Only-begotten Son from eternity past. [cf John 5:26]. But He volunteered
to die the eternal death of the sinner. He did this by relinquishing His
DIVINE ONLY form of existence and giving that DIVINE NATURE HOLY SPIRIT
(GHOST) to man for POWER to be regenerated back into the image of God. He
then took upon Himself humanity forever.
Note: How did Christ
die the eternal death of the sinner? He FOREVER died to His past life of
DIVINITY ONLY, and bequeathed that past life of DIVINE NATURE to us for
overcoming and regeneration back into the image of God. End note.
And after presenting
His disciples with His final profound lesson at the last Passover supper,
explaining how He must die the eternal death of the sinner, and
relinquish His eternal body and blood for them to eat and drink to obtain
the eternal life which had been His, He went to Gethsemane and
surrendered His life into the custody of His Father; and thus could die
the eternal death of sinful humanity on the cross.
Before the cross,
Christ could have chosen to retain His DIVINE ONLY state of Being
forever, rather than sacrificing it for us. But after He commended that
Holy Spirit to the Father, and died, there was no turning back. Of
course, had He chosen the DIVINE ONLY Being, He had always had with the
Father, there would have been no fulfillment of the Atonement according
to the Testators Covenant, whereby the Testator had to die to something
eternally for that is the wages of our sin, and not just three days in a
tomb.
Hbr 9:16 For where a testament [is], there must also of necessity
be the death of the testator.
Hbr 9:17 For a testament [is] of force after men are dead:
otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
If the Son did not die to something FOREVER, the testament would
have been of no strength. He died to His DIVINE ONLY state of being at
His Incarnation. That is when His Holy Spirit, soul of His life, became a
third person, the Holy Ghost of His past Being.
The Trinity doctrine denies this process of the Incarnation
sacrifice in the Heavenly Sanctuary, by saying the Holy Spirit always
existed as a Third Person. That is the abomination of that doctrine. In
essence, it sweeps away the entire Christian economy because if that
eternal death sacrifice did not take place, then there was no Sanctuary
Incarnation Service in the Heavenly Sanctuary, and there would have been
NO VALID ATONEMENT for man’s sin. That is the heinous and abominable
implication of the Trinity doctrine whether it be the Adventist version
or the Roman Catholic version. The end result is the same because they
both teach that the Holy Spirit existed as a separate entity THIRD
PERSON FOREVER.
So omega of apostasy new movement Adventism is teaching two
doctrines that lead to eternal doom: The justification only doctrine—only
believe, grace as PARDON ONLY, omitting the POWER ELEMENT; and the
abominable Trinity Doctrine that in essence sweeps away the entire
Christian economy:
"The spiritualistic theories regarding the personality of
God [the Godhead], followed to their logical conclusion, sweep away the
whole Christian economy. They estimate as nothing the light that Christ
came from heaven to give John to give to His people. They teach that the
scenes just before us are not of sufficient importance to be given
special attention. They make of no effect the truth of heavenly origin,
and rob the people of God of their past experience, giving them instead a
false science." E.G. White, Selected Messages, Bk.1, p. 204.
The Trinity doctrine is a spiritualistic theory of man regarding
the personality of God, the Holy Spirit. It sweeps away the heavenly
Sanctuary Incarnation sacrifice of the Son whereby He divested His Divine
ONLY nature from the humanity He was to partake of, and that Divine ONLY
NATURE, His Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit) life He bequeathed to man as the “highest
good, crowning sacrifice heaven could give.”
All Other Truth Clusters Around
the Great Truth of the Incarnation Atoning Sacrifice
“The sacrifice of Christ as an atonement for sin is the
great truth around which all other
truths cluster. In order to be rightly understood and appreciated,
every truth in the word of God, from Genesis to Revelation, must be
studied in the light that streams from the cross of Calvary. I present
before you the great, grand monument of mercy and regeneration, salvation
and redemption,--the Son of God uplifted on the cross. This is to be the
foundation of every discourse given by our ministers.” Gospel Workers, 315.
So anything that obviates that truth around which all other truths cluster, sweeps away then
entire Christian economy and the Sanctuary and the Atonement:
Sanctuary Gone—Atonement Gone
-- "In a representation
which passed before me, I saw a certain work being done by medical
missionary workers. Our ministering brethren were looking on, watching
what was being done, but they did not seem to understand. The foundation
of our faith, which was established by so much prayer, such earnest
searching of the Scriptures, was being taken down, pillar by pillar. Our
faith was to have nothing to rest upon--the sanctuary was gone, the
atonement was gone." E.G. White, The Upward Look, 152.
"A new order of things has COME INTO the
ministry. There is a desire to pattern after other churches and
simplicity and humility are almost unknown. The young ministers seek to
be original, and to introduce new ideas and new plans for labor [Like the Satanic Celebration
Movement which was also the child of Vatican II]. Some open revival
meetings, and by this means call large numbers into the church. But when
the excitement is over, where are the converted ones? Repentance and
confession of sin are not seen. The sinner is entreated to believe in
Christ and accept Him, without regard to his past life of sin and
rebellion. The heart is not broken. There is no contrition of soul. The
supposed converted ones have not fallen upon the Rock, Christ
Jesus." E.G. White, Selected Messages, vol. 2, pp. 18,
19.
Also, if “The sacrifice of
Christ as an atonement for sin is the great truth around which all other truths cluster,” then certainly this
truth is part of the last message because it teaches THE CHARACTER OF GOD
AND HIS GREAT LOVE, and defines the MERITS OF CHRIST’S SACRIFICE to the
greatest depths man is capable of understanding at this time. Thus, those
who “specialize” in the character of God and the merits of Christ,
without the “highest good, crowning sacrifice heaven can bestow,” are
giving an incomplete gospel. The truth about the Incarnation is the
greatest evidence of God’s love for man for it involves the “highest
good, crowning gift that heaven can bestow.”
In the Alpha of
Apostasy, pantheism, the teaching that God is in everything (via His
Spirit), also swept away the entire Christian economy and did away with
the Sanctuary and the Atonement. How? Why? Because it was the Incarnation
sacrifice that made God’s Holy Ghost Spirit, soul of His life available
to man. If God is in everything, including man, without man “receiving”
that person, the Holy Spirit, that accrued due to the Incarnation
sacrifice, such a notion clearly obfuscates that sacrifice. And that is
how and why the Alpha of Apostasy of pantheism achieved the same end
result of sweeping away the Sanctuary, the Incarnation, the Atonement and
thereby the entire Christian economy. And still today, SDA Ministering
brethren look on, but don’t understand what they have done by embracing
Rome’s Trinity Doctrine. They don’t understand the implications. Why?
Because of the following testimony of God
Almighty which Ellen White reapplies in Testimonies, Vol. 5, 211:
10 His watchmen are blind, they are all without knowledge; they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; dreaming,
lying down, loving to slumber.
11 Yea, the dogs are greedy, they
can never have enough; and these are shepherds that cannot understand:
they have all turned to
their own way, each one to his gain, from every quarter.
12 Come ye, say they, I will fetch
wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to-morrow shall
be as this day, a day great beyond measure.
"The Bible for Our Time.--Never are we absent from the mind
of God. God is our joy and our salvation. Each of the ancient prophets
spoke less for their own time than for ours, so that their prophesying is
in force for us. 'Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples:
and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world
are come' (1 Cor. 10:11). 'Not unto themselves, but unto us they did
minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have
preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven
which things the angels desire to look into' (1 Peter 1:12).'" E.G.
White, Selected
Messages, Bk.
3, p. 338.
Prophets
Wrote for Their Own and Our Day.—“The last books of the Old
Testament show us workers taken from the laborers in the field. Others
were men of high ability and extensive learning, but the Lord gave them
visions and messages. These men of the Old Testament spoke of things
transpiring in their day, and Daniel, Isaiah, and Ezekiel not only spoke
of things that concerned them as present truth, but their sights reached
down to the future, and to what should occur in these last days.”--Letter
132, 1898. {3SM 419.5, 420}
Begin
at My Sanctuary -- "Here we see that the church--the Lord's
sanctuary--was the first to feel the stroke of the wrath of God. The
ancient men, those to whom God had given great light and who had stood as
guardians of the spiritual interests of the people, had betrayed their
trust. They had taken the position that we need not look for miracles and
the marked manifestation of God's power as in former days. Times have
changed. These words strengthen their unbelief, and they say: The Lord
will not do good, neither will He do evil. He is too merciful to visit
His people in judgment. Thus 'Peace and safety" is the cry from men
who will never again lift up their voice like a trumpet to show God's people
their transgressions and the house of Jacob their sins. These dumb dogs that would not
bark are the ones who feel the just vengeance of an offended God.
Men, maidens, and little children all perish together." E. G. White,
Testimonies, Vol. 5, 211.
"In
the very courts of the temple, scenes will be enacted that few realize.
God's people will be proved and tested, that He may discern 'between him
that serveth God and him that serveth Him not.' Vengeance will be
executed against those who sit in the gate, deciding what the people
should have and what they should not have. These take away the key of knowledge. They
refuse to enter in themselves, and those who would enter in they hinder.
These bear not the seal of the living God. All who now occupy responsible
positions should be solemnly and terribly afraid lest in this time they
shall be found as unfaithful stewards." E.G. White, Manuscript
15, 1886, Paulson Collection, p. 55.
And
what is the key of knowledge?
The key of knowledge is faith that works by love—gold tried in the fire,
the message to Laodicea.
“While Satan claimed to
have received great good by eating of the forbidden tree, he did not let
it appear that by transgression he had become an outcast from heaven.
Here was falsehood, so concealed under a covering of apparent truth that
Eve, infatuated, flattered, beguiled, did not discern the deception. She
coveted what God had forbidden; she distrusted His wisdom. She cast away faith, the key of knowledge.”
{Ed 24.2}
It is contrition and
faith and love that enable the soul to receive wisdom from heaven.
Faith
working by love is the key of knowledge, and everyone that loveth
"knoweth God." (1 John 4:7). . . . {LHU 168.7}
Faith that works by
love is keeping God’s commandments by the empowerment of His grace
(Power). He said if ye love me, keep My commandments. That is how we know
we love Him, and the brethren, if we KNOW we are keeping His
commandments. Every time you are tempted, pray for the Holy Spirit’s
“Many of the ministers will not hear
and be convinced. They will not enter the sanctuary of truth to receive
the knowledge of truth from the Word, but will take away the key of knowledge from the people by
perversion of the Scriptures, wresting the Word of God from its
true meaning. Thus every step gained in reaching the people to save them
from being lost in error and disobedience requires a hard, constant
battle. But shall it stop? No. Lift up the standard. Plant memorials of
God's truth in every place possible, work in new territories, and
conversions will be made. Some who do not take their stand at once will
help advance the work with their means and their sympathy, and will
themselves take their position on the Lord's side. . . . God will have
representatives in every place in all parts of the world.”-- Letter 86, June 19, 1900, to A. G.
Daniels. {TDG 179.4}
How do most SDA leaders
take away the key of knowledge? They teach that faith is “belief only,”
and that it is not connected with works whatsoever. That is the doctrine
of the Nicolatians. True faith works by love. God said: If ye love me,
keep my commandments. Ellen White was correct in saying that the gospel
cannot be separated from the law, but SDA pastors are now copying the
pastors of fallen Babylon in teaching that devious doctrine which does
away with the key of knowledge.
17-20. Shall We Open the Heart's
Door?--We must have the buyers and the sellers cleared out of the soul
temple, that Jesus may take up His abode within us. Now He stands at the
door of the heart as a heavenly merchantman; He says, "Behold, I
stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door,
I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me."
"Open unto me; buy of me the heavenly wares; buy of me the gold
tried in the fire." Buy faith and love, the precious, beautiful
attributes of our Redeemer, which will enable us to find our way into the
hearts of those who do not know Him, who are cold and alienated from Him
through unbelief and sin. He invites us to buy the white raiment, which
is His glorious righteousness; and the eyesalve, that we may discern
spiritual things. Oh, shall we not open the heart's door to this heavenly
visitor (BE Jan. 15, 1892)? {7BC 964.7}

P.S. There are some
very false, abominable accusations circulating about me, some of them by
my own family. By that I mean one of my own children and her husband who has functioned as an elder in the church. I pray that
you will take the fruit of my teachings as to who is correct and who is not.
I have staked my salvation on my rebuttal to those allegations.

In the
above document you have read some of the serious reasons why Ezekiel 9
will be LITERALLY fulfilled in the new movement SDA church, to wit:
"Study
the 9th chapter of Ezekiel. These words will be literally fulfilled yet
the time is passing, and the people are asleep. They refuse to humble
their souls and to be converted. Not a great while longer will the Lord
bear with the people who have such great and important truths revealed to
them, but who refuse to bring these truths into their individual
experience. The time is short. God is calling will YOU hear? Will YOU
receive His message? Will YOU be converted before it is too late? Soon,
very soon, every case will be decided for eternity. Letter 106, 1909, pp.
2, 3, 5, 7. (To "The churches in Oakland and Berkeley, September 26,
1909.)" E. G. White Manuscript Releases Volume One, p. 260.
“The
time will soon come when the prophecy of Ezekiel 9 will be fulfilled;
that prophecy should be carefully studied, for it will be fulfilled to the very letter.”— Ellen

The Signs of the Times, February 12,
1880: “The desolation of Jerusalem stands as a solemn warning
before the eyes of modern Israel.”
“The
desolation of Jerusalem in the days of Jeremiah is a solemn warning to modern Israel, that the counsels and
admonitions given them through chosen instrumentalities cannot be
disregarded with impunity.” Prophets and Kings, 416.
Who is modern Israel (below) in your estimation? BABYLON??????

“I was confirmed in all I had stated in
Minneapolis, that a reformation must go through the churches. Reforms
must be made, for spiritual weakness and blindness were upon the people
who had been blessed with great light and precious opportunities and
privileges. As reformers they had come out of the denominational
churches, but they now act a part similar to that which the churches
acted. We hoped that there would not be the necessity for another coming
out. [THIS IS THE ONLY KNOWN
STATEMENT FROM THE PEN OF ELLEN WHITE INDICATING THAT SHE MIGHT HAVE LOST
CONFIDENCE IN THE SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH ORGANIZATION. THE DOUBT
WHICH SHE EXPRESSED HERE WAS NEVER REPEATED DURING THE REMAINING
TWENTY-SIX YEARS OF HER LIFE.] While
we will endeavor to keep the "unity of the Spirit" in the bonds
of peace, we will not with pen or voice cease to protest against
bigotry.--EGW '88 356, 357 (1889). {LDE 48.1}

confidence in the church. That is an absolute lie. Here is a listing of
some of the many statements expressing Ellen White’s lack of confidence
in the professing church militant:

“Of those
who boast of their light and yet fail to walk in it Christ says,
"But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon
at the day of judgment than for you. And thou, Capernaum [Seventh-day
Adventists, who have had great light], which art exalted unto heaven [in
point of privilege], shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works
which have been done in thee had been done in Sodom, it would have
remained until this day." Ellen G. White, Review and Herald
Articles, Aug. 1, 1893. [THE BRACKETED COMMENTS ARE BY ELLEN WHITE.] {LDE
48.2}
“Let us bear
in mind the words that Christ spoke to the people who were honored above others
in being privileged to have the Lord Jesus Christ to labor among them, and yet who did not
appreciate this privilege, and did not diffuse the light of Heaven to
others. He said: "Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida!
for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre
and Sidon, they would have repeated long ago in sackcloth and ashes. But
I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day
of judgment, than for you. And
thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to
hell; for if the mighty works,
which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have
remained until this day. But I say unto you, That it shall be more
tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for
thee." {RH, December 3, 1895 par. 6}
