Again in 1903

Dear Reader, I have been witnessing on an SDA Internet
group this past week, and at least six persons on that group who are members
of the church have denied that Ellen White and/or her Instructor EVER called
the church a harlot. In light of the following evidence, this is incredible,
but nevertheless it really happened in real life! A harlot, is a harlot, is a harlot! Satan
does not have various brothels for different factions in his Synagogue. A
harlot is a part of Babylon, confusion, error, and corruptness, and at best a
combination of truth with error. The ancient prophets called Judah and Israel
a harlot. Then Jesus said that they were of the Synagogue of Satan. There is
not a separate Synagogue for Jews and professing Seventh-day Adventists.
Satan's Kingdom is represented by the city of Babylon. Jerusalem symbolizes
God's "chosen" people, who were to come out and be separate, holy
and peculiar from the world. Calling the church a harlot is the same thing as
saying that is has become part of Babylon. That is not to say that the church
could never extricate itself from that position by an ensuing Reformation,
which Ellen White always called for when calling the church a harlot. What I am presenting below is several
statements by Ellen White, calling the SDA church, a harlot. By the time
Ellen White made the following statement, the church had been Laodicean since
1856, and she also said that if the church became Laodicean it would not be
regarded with any more favor by God than the fallen churches. So was the church in October 2, 1893, keeping
the commandments and heeding the Laodicean message? "Hath a nation changed their
gods, which are yet no gods? but
my people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit. Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be
horribly afraid, be ye very desolate, saith the Lord. For my people have
committed two evils: they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and
hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water."
"For of old time I have broken thy yoke, and burst thy bands; and thou
saidst, I will not transgress; when upon every high hill and under every
green tree thou wanderest, playing the harlot. Yet I had planted thee a noble
vine, wholly a right seed; how then art thou turned into the degenerate plant
of a strange vine unto me? For though thou wash thee with niter, and take
thee much soap, yet thine iniquity is marked before me, saith the Lord."
{E.G. White, Signs of the Times, October 2, 1893 par. 1} Here is another place she called the church
a harlot in 1882, eleven years before 1903: "No stronger delusion can possess the
human mind than that which makes men believe they
are on the right foundation, and that God accepts their works, when they are
sinning against him. When placed in the furnace fire to be tried by the great
Refiner, much that has been esteemed fine gold will
be consumed as dross. Can Christ say of his professed followers, These are my
peculiar people; I gave myself for them, to redeem them from all iniquity,
that they should show forth my praise, who have called them out of darkness
into my marvelous light. Would not the Lord say, rather, How is the
beautiful city become a harlot, and my Father's house a place of
merchandise. Because of your
unbelief, I cannot do many mighty works among you." {RH, November 7, 1882 par. 12} Who is she speaking of? His professed
followers, His peculiar people, the beautiful city, His father's house--the
church obviously. How could the SDA
church of 1882, recover from being a harlot if ALSO IN 1882, Ellen White said
that the church leaders would NEVER AGAIN show the house of Jacob its sins?
Testimonies, Vol. 5, p. 211. Now look
in the flyleaf pages of 5T to find that page 211 was written in 1882. "How is the faithful
city become an harlot! it was full of
judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers. Thy silver is become
dross, thy wine mixed with water: thy princes are rebellious, and
companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards:
they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto
them." {Ellen G. White, Fundamentals of Christian Education, 222.1}

refers to the leaders. Isaiah
and Jeremiah's Referral to Judah and Israel as Harlots
Let it be kept firm in the mind of the
reader that when Isaiah and Jeremiah referred to Judah and Israel as harlots,
there has never been any dispute about what they meant. Jesus said they were
of their Father the devil, and were of the Synagogue of Satan. Jeremiah said
that God divorced Judah and Israel. Scripture forbids remarriage to the same
person after divorce. Also, Ellen White said that the ancient prophets wrote
more for us than the Jews, and that we were repeating EXACTLY the steps of
the Jews in apostasy. She said that there would be an end-time COUNTERPART to
the Jews. They were a "chosen" people from whom a remnant were
later "gathered out," Desire of Ages, 232, and Ezekiel 5:1-3. So
who else could qualify as a COUNTERPART to them, other than professing
Seventh-day Adventists? Why is it that when Isaiah and the other
ancient prophets referred to the faithful city having become a harlot, we
have no problem deciphering who and what they were referring to? So, when
Ellen White's Instructor applied the same statement to SDA's, who and what
was He referring to? Why is it that professing SDA's want to deny that Ellen
White's Instructor, the Holy Spirit, God, called the church a harlot of
Babylon on a number of occasions? And how could they ever reform from that
position without first recognizing and admitting to the problem? Is that not
the first step in correcting any problem and effecting a reformation? How
could the church reform from being a harlot, when in 1882, in Testimonies,
Vol. 5, p. 211, Ellen White said that the leaders would NEVER AGAIN show the
house of Jacob its sins? (See flyleaf
pages for the date p. 211 was written—1882!. Ellen White was calling for a
reformation. I fully admit that. The church DID NOT have to remain a harlot!
But has it so remained? That is a valid question! And we will explore
God's answer in Scripture and the Spirit of Prophecy. Isa 1:21 How
is the faithful city become an harlot!
it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it;

Take an harp, go about the city, thou harlot
that hast been forgotten; make sweet melody, sing many songs, that thou
mayest be remembered. Jer 2:20 For
of old time I have broken thy yoke, [and] burst thy bands; and thou saidst, I

thou wanderest, playing the harlot. Jer 3:1 They
say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another
man's, shall he return unto her again? shall not
that land be greatly polluted? but thou hast played
the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith the LORD. Jer 3:6 The
LORD said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen [that]
which backsliding Israel hath done? she is gone up
upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played
the harlot. Jer 3:8 And I
saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I
had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister
Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also. Eze 16:15
But thou didst trust in thine own beauty, and playedst the harlot
because of thy renown, and pouredst out thy fornications on every one that
passed by; his it was. Eze 16:16
And of thy garments thou didst take, and deckedst thy high places with divers colours, and playedst the harlot thereupon:
[the like things] shall not come, neither shall it be [so]. Eze 16:28

Yet she multiplied her whoredoms, in calling to remembrance the days of her
youth, wherein she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt. Eze 23:44
Yet they went in unto her, as they go in unto a woman that playeth the harlot:
so went they in unto Aholah and unto Aholibah, the lewd women. Let's examine the statement closely: Who can truthfully say: "Our gold is
tried in the fire; our garments are unspotted by the world"? I saw our
Instructor pointing to the garments of so-called righteousness. Stripping
them off, He laid bare the defilement beneath. Then He said to me: "Can
you not see how they have pretentiously covered up their defilement and
rottenness of character? 'How is the faithful city become an harlot!' My Father's house
is made a house of merchandise, a place whence the divine presence and glory
have departed! For this cause there is weakness, and strength is lacking."

Do you not see that her Instructor is
describing the church at that time, 1903. If not,
what is He seeing and describing? You wrote: Can't you see? The SDA church
with all it's light and all the truth will never be
the harlot, although many will be included as lost." Ron responds: Judy, maybe you have not
understood that I speak of the SDA church militant, which Ellen White
distinguishes from the SDA church Triumphant. Of the SDA church militant she
wrote: "Among the professed followers of
Christ, there is the same pride, formalism, vainglory, selfishness, and
OPPRESSION, that existed in the Jewish nation." E.G. White, Sketches
from the Life of Paul, 251-252. "God's professed people are selfish
and selfcaring....They are idolaters, and are
worse, in the sight of God, than the heathen, graven-image worshippers who
have had no knowledge of a better way." Testimonies, vol. 2, 441-442.
The Full E.G. White 1903 HARLOT Statement
in Full Context -- Then More Questions A Failure To Honor God The heavenly Teacher inquired: "What
stronger delusion can beguile the mind than the pretense that you are
building on the right foundation and that God accepts your works, when in reality you are working out many
things according to worldly policy and are sinning against Jehovah? Oh, it is a great deception, a fascinating
delusion, that takes possession of minds when men who have once known the truth, mistake the form of
godliness for the spirit and power thereof; when God has not changed toward His faithful
servants who are keeping their garments spotless. But many are crying, "Peace and
safety," while sudden destruction is coming upon them. Unless there is
thorough repentance, unless men humble their hearts by confession and receive
the truth as it is in Jesus, they will never enter heaven. When
purification shall take place in our ranks, we shall no longer rest at ease,
boasting of being rich and increased with goods, in need of nothing. {8T
250.1} Who can truthfully say: "Our gold is

250.2} A Call For Reformation The time has come for a
thorough reformation to take place. When this reformation
begins, the spirit of prayer will actuate every believer and will banish from
the church the spirit of discord and strife. Those who have not been living
in Christian fellowship will draw close to one another. One member working in
right lines will lead other members to unite with him in making intercession
for the revelation of the Holy Spirit. There will be no confusion, because all will be in harmony with
the mind of the Spirit. The barriers separating believer from believer will
be broken down, and God's servants will speak the same things. The Lord will
co-operate with His servants. All will pray understandingly the prayer that
Christ taught His servants: "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in
earth, as it is in heaven." Matthew 6:10. (252) {8T 251.1} More Reasons why God's Presence Departed
From the Church in 1903, Drawn from the FULL CONTEXT of the above harlot
statement:
That means no more
favor than Babylon. This is another way in which the church was called
a harlot in 1898, because Babylon is a harlot and there is no consolation in
being regarded with no more favor by God than is a harlot.
The church is
Laodicean, but there are always a faithful few, even as there were some
faithful among the apostate Jewish church.
Has that point
ever been reached since the above statement in 1903? And how would it ever
occur if the watchmen will NEVER AGAIN show the House of Jacob it's sins, 5T, 211?
Premise of Ron Beaulieu Ellen White's words: "When this
reformation begins, the spirit of prayer will actuate every believer and will
banish from the church the spirit of discord and strife," must be
interpreted to mean "IF this reformation begins," for the
following reasons: Questions:
"God's professed people are selfish
and self-caring....They are idolaters, and are worse, in the sight of God,
than the heathen, graven-image worshippers who have had no knowledge of a
better way." Testimonies, vol. 2, 441-442.
Isa 9:16 For
the leaders of this people cause [them] to err; and [they that are]
led of them [are] destroyed. Mat 15:14
Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the
blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch. Isa 3:12 [As
for] my people, children [are] their oppressors, and women rule over them. O
my people, they which lead thee cause [thee] to err, and

sanctuary--was the first to feel the stroke of the wrath of God. The ancient
men, those to whom God had given great light and who had stood as guardians
of the spiritual interests of the people, had betrayed their trust. They had
taken the position that we need not look for miracles and the marked
manifestation of God's power as in former days. Times have changed. These
words strengthen their unbelief, and they say: The Lord will not do good, neither will He do evil. He is too merciful to visit
His people in judgment. Thus 'Peace and safety" is the cry from men who
will never again lift up their voice like a trumpet to show God's people
their transgressions and the house of Jacob their sins. These dumb dogs that
would not bark are the ones who feel the just vengeance of an offended God.
Men, maidens, and little children all perish together." E. G. White,

These words will be literally fulfilled yet the time is passing, and the
people are asleep. They refuse to humble their souls and to be converted. Not
a great while longer will the Lord bear with the people who have such great
and important truths revealed to them, but who refuse to bring these truths
into their individual experience. The time is short. God is calling will YOU
hear? Will YOU receive His message? Will YOU be converted before it is too
late? Soon, very soon, every case will be decided for eternity. Letter 106,

Another Means by Which Ellen White
Called the Church a Harlot Ellen White likened harlotry to the love of
worldly things. Then she said that the church had been converted to the
world. All you have to be able to do is relate the words: worldly; converted
to the world, and to the word harlot in the following statement. The unfaithfulness of the church to Christ
in permitting her confidence and affection to be turned from him, and
allowing the love of worldly
things to occupy the soul, is likened
to the violation of the marriage vow. The sin of Israel in departing from the
Lord is presented under this figure; and the wonderful love of God which they
thus despised is touchingly portrayed. "I sware unto thee, and entered
into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord God, and thou becamest mine."
"And thou wast exceeding beautiful, and thou didst prosper into a
kingdom. And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty; for it
was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee. . . . But thou
didst trust in thine own beauty, and playedst the harlot because of thy
renown." "As a wife
treacherously departeth from her husband, so have ye dealt treacherously "The day of God is right upon us, and the world has converted the church. Both
are in harmony, and are acting upon a short-sited policy" E.G. White, General Conference Bulletin, 1st
Quarter, 1900. "God's professed people are selfish
and self-caring....They are idolaters, and are worse, in the sight of God,
than the heathen, graven-image worshipers who have had no knowledge of a

the world is fast leavening the church. You are following the same path as
did ancient Israel. There is the same falling away from your holy calling as
God's peculiar people. You are having fellowship with the unfruitful works of
darkness. Your [ecumenical] concord with unbelievers have
provoked the Lord's displeasure. you know not the
things that belong to your peace, and they are fast being hid from your eyes.
Your neglect to follow the
light will place you in a more unfavorable position than the Jews upon whom
Christ pronounced a woe."

Conclusions on SDA Ventures into Harlotry--in PREFIGURE TYPE AND ANTITYPE I have read the last chapter RESULTS of the
SDA Church's escapades into harlotry and worldliness. The Lord has presented
the conclusion of the matter to me in vision. The verity of that vision
should be axiomatic to the spiritually discerning reader. Here are the all
too empirical conclusions of the issue:
"The Lord has
a controversy with his professed people in these last days. In this
controversy men in responsible positions will take a course directly opposite
to that pursued by Nehemiah. They will not only ignore and despise the
Sabbath themselves, but they will try to keep it from others by burying it
beneath the rubbish of custom and tradition. In churches and in large
gatherings in the open air, ministers, will urge upon the people the
necessity of keeping the first day of the week." E.G. White, Review and
Herald, vol. 1, p. 405, col. 3.
Jer 7:4 Trust
ye not in lying words, saying, The temple
of the LORD, The temple of the
LORD, The temple of the LORD, [are]
these.
In the PREFIGURE of Judah and Israel, God
divorced both because of their harlotry, and remarriage is forbidden by
Scripture. Jer 3:8 And I
saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I
had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet
her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.
"The Lord
Jesus will always have a chosen people to serve Him. When the Jewish people
rejected Christ, the Prince of life. He took from them the kingdom of God and
gave it unto the Gentiles. God will continue to work on this principle
with every branch of His work. When a church proves unfaithful to the
work of the Lord, whatever their position may be, however high and
sacred their calling, the Lord can no longer work with them.
Others are then chosen to bear important responsibilities. But, if these in
turn do not purify their lives from every wrong action, if they do not
establish pure and holy principles in all their borders, then the Lord will
grievously afflict and humble them and, unless they repent, will remove them
from their place and make them a reproach. God is not
'worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing' (Acts 17:25). E. G. White, The Upward Look, 131.
A Firmament of Chosen Ones Who Have
Never Heard the Name Seventh-day Adventist.--"Among earth's inhabitants, scattered in every land,
there are those who have not bowed the knee to Baal. Like the stars of
heaven, which appear only at night, these faithful ones will shine forth when
darkness covers the earth and gross darkness the people. In heathen Africa,
in the Catholic lands of Europe and of South America, in China, in India, in
the islands of the sea, and in all the dark corners of the earth, God has in
reserve a firmament of chosen ones that will yet shine forth amidst the
darkness, revealing clearly to an apostate world the transforming power of
obedience to His law. Even now they are appearing in every nation, among
every tongue and people and in the hour of deepest apostasy, when Satan's
supreme effort is made to cause 'all, both small and great, rich and poor,
free and bond,' to receive, under penalty of death, the sign of allegiance to
a false rest day, these faithful ones, 'blameless and harmless, the sons of
God, without rebuke,' will 'shine as lights in the world.' The darker the
night, the more brilliantly will they shine." E.G. White, Evangelism,

A good reason for leaving the church 43
years before it will be destroyed, as the disciples and their converts in the
PREFIGURE, is: "I saw the nominal church and nominal
Adventists, like Judas, would betray us to the Catholics to obtain their
influence to come against the truth. The saints then will be an obscure [hidden]
people, little known to the Catholics but the churches and nominal Adventists
who know of our faith and customs (for they hate us on account of the
Sabbath, for they could not refute it) will betray the saints and report them
to the Catholics as those who disregard the institutions of the people that
is, that they keep the Sabbath and disregard Sunday. Then the Catholics bid the Protestants to
go forward, and issue a decree that all who will not observe the first day of
the week, instead of the seventh day, shall be slain. And the Catholics,
whose numbers are large, will stand by the Protestants. The Catholics will
give their power to the image of the beast. And the Protestants will work as
their mother worked before them to destroy the saints. But before their
decree bring or bear fruit, the saints will be delivered by the Voice of God.
Then I saw that Jesus' work in the sanctuary will soon be finished. And after
His work there is finished, He will come to the door of the first apartment,
and confess the sins of Israel upon the head of the Scape Goat. Then He will
put on the garments of vengeance. Then the plagues will come upon the wicked,
and they do not come till Jesus puts on that garment, and takes His place
upon the great white cloud. Then while the plagues are falling, the Scape
Goat is being led away. He makes a mighty struggle to escape, but he is held
fast by the hand that leads him. If he should effect
his escape, Israel would lose their lives. I saw that it would take time to
lead away the Scape Goat into the land of forgetfulness after the sins were
put on his head. The great white cloud I saw was not the
holy place, but entirely separate from the holy and most holy place, entirely
separate from the sanctuary. Then the angel repeated these words, and
said, 'This is the time spoken of in Isaiah. He saw that there was not man,
and wondered that there was no intercessor. He had no mediator between God
and man, and these plagues could be withheld no longer, for Jesus had ceased
to plead for Israel, and they were covered with the covering of the Almighty
God, and they could live in the sight of a holy God, and those who were not
covered, the plagues fell upon them, for they had nothing to shelter or
protect them from the wrath of God." E.G. White, Dorchester, Maine,

"Nominal Adventists.--"Those who
united in sounding the first and second angels' messages but who rejected the
third angel's message with its Sabbath truth, but nonetheless continued to
espouse the Advent hope, are referred to by Mrs. White as the 'nominal
Adventists.' or those who 'reject the present truth' (p. 69), also 'different
parties of professed Advent believers (page 124)...those who 'reject the
present truth.." Early Writings, p. 299, Appendix.
In the PREFIGURE
TYPE OF A.D. 70, Jewish leaders hired false prophets to tell the people to
remain with the apostate church. So it is all over again. Scripture says that
the leaders are priests for hire: Eze 22:27
Her princes in the midst thereof [are] like wolves ravening the prey,
to shed blood, [and] to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain. Princes are not
the laity friend. They are the leaders. They are the wolves in sheep's
clothing. Mic 3:11 The
heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for
hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they
lean upon the LORD, and say, [Is] not the LORD among us? none
evil can come upon us. Jer 25:34 Howl,
ye shepherds, and cry; and wallow yourselves [in the ashes], ye principal
of the flock: for the days of your slaughter and of your dispersions are accomplished;
and ye shall fall like a pleasant vessel. Eze 21:12
Cry and howl, son of man: for it shall be upon my people, it [shall
be] upon all the princes of Israel: terrors by reason of the sword shall be
upon my people: smite therefore upon [thy] thigh. Jim Ayars of The
King's Herald's Quartet fame, always tells me to
howl on, like I am the wolf. Yet he is a minister, a leader, and is one of
the six folk I have been talking to this past while who say that neither
Ellen White nor her Instructor called the church a harlot. Go figure! This is the
message that God gave to me as part of my first vision. If I am not one of
the true prophets warning of the doom of apostate Seventh-day Adventists, you
had better find one fast, for in the PREFIGURE, true prophets gave the same
warning I am giving. What will most SDA's do? They will ask their errant
leaders if this warning that the church is a harlot is true, and they will
say no. They will call it rubbish. They will say that Ellen White did not
really mean that the church, the once "faithful CITY" was a harlot,
but just some within her midsts, when the truth of the matter is that Ellen
White's Instructor referred to the church, the ONCE faithful city and said
that it had become a harlot. Just because there are a few faithful and
sincere in the church, does not relieve it from being a harlot. Doesn't Ellen
White say that there are many sincere believers in the fallen Babylonian
churches? Of course she does! Does that mean they are not harlot daughters of
Mother Rome, Babylon? Absolutely not! And then the
Laodicean sleeping virgins will go back to sleep again. This is true pathos.
All this is why the SDA church militant will NEVER repent of it's Laodicean state. This is what we are to weep between
the porch and the altar over. We are to be sighing and crying for the vexing
