John
Graz on SDA Ecumenical Involvement
Versus the Truth on This Unpardonable Sin
Abomination "THE
WORLD MUST NOT BE INTRODUCED INTO THE CHURCH and married to the church,
forming a bond of unity. Through this means the church will become corrupt, and
as stated in Revelation, ‘a cage of every unclean and hateful bird." — Testimonies
to Ministers, page 265. It
is impossible to distinguish the fallen churches from the world. Early Writings, p. 273. "IF
WE DECIDE that in these last days we have no work assigned to us that is out
of the common course of the nominal churches, we shall meet with great
disappointment." — Testimonies to Ministers, page 125. "‘The
evangelical Protestant denominations. .[are] appealing every hour to every
baser element of their nature to hush up the truth, and bow the knee to the
power of apostasy. Was not this the way things went with Rome? Are we not
living her life over again [in what is now taking place]? And what do we see
just ahead? Another general council! A world's convention! Evangelical
alliance, and universal creed!' . .WHEN THIS SHALL BE GAINED, then, in the
effort to secure complete uniformity, it will be only a step to the resort of
force." — Great Controversy, pages 444-445. "As
the Protestant churches reject the clear, Scriptural arguments in defense of
God's law, they will long to silence those whose faith they cannot overthrow
by the Bible. Though they blind their own eyes to the fact, THEY ARE NOW
ADOPTING A COURSE which will lead to the persecution of those who
conscientiously refuse to do what the rest of the Christian world are doing,
acknowledge the claims of the papal Sabbath." — Great Controversy,
page 592. "THE
FIRES OF PERSECUTION will be rekindled through the time-serving concessions of
the so-called Protestant world." — SDA

"The
Lord has a controversy with His professed people in these last days. In
this controversy men in responsible positions [leaders] will take a course
directly opposite to that pursued by Nehemiah. They will not only ignore
and despise the Sabbath themselves, but they will try to keep it from others by
burying it beneath the rubbish of custom and tradition. In churches and
in large gatherings in the open air, ministers will urge upon the people the necessity
of keeping the first day of the week. There are calamities on sea and
land: and these calamities will increase, one disaster following close upon
another; and the little band of conscientious Sabbath-keepers will be pointed
out as the ones who are bringing the wrath of God upon the world by their
disregard of Sunday." E.G. White, Review
and Herald Articles, 3-18-84.
Vance Ferrell, a former credentialed SDA
pastor, has confirmed that the SDA church is a member of various National
Councils of Churches and that such membership is part of being a member of the
World Council of Churches. Vance has many letters by members who have written
to the National Council of Churches in the U.S.A. and they confirmed that the
church was a member. Then, because of flack from the church laity, the church
and the National Councils of Churches have agreed not to publish Adventists as
members. But Vance has proven that the church is a MEMBER of the WCC by its
membership in various subsidiary National Councils of Churches all over the
world. You should write to Vance at the following address and request all his
materials on SDA ecumenical involvement. Vance charges a small amount for his
materials but his SDA ecumenical involvement proofs are well worth the cost.

God’s Lines in the Sand
God's
major "line in the sand" as regards probationary time for his chosen
people, is defined in Jeremiah 11:9-15. Those verses prove that whenever God's
people conspire with His enemies, they close their probation on a generational
basis, because the general probation for Israel did not close until the 490
years of Daniel 9 closed in A.D. 34. Jeremiah 11:9-15 was written centuries
B.C.
Read
Jeremiah 11:9-15 very carefully. In verse 15 God asks what His chosen people
have to do in His house (church) since it has committed lewdness with many by
conspiring with His enemies (verses 9 and 10).
Ellen
White quotes the apostles as prophesying an end-time COUNTERPART to the Jews of
Jeremiah chapters 7 and 11, whom we are not to pray for. Why? Because they
conspire with God's enemies after knowing the truth and they have the attitude
described in the following statement. It is empirical that the things described
in the following statement are rampant in the professing SDA new movement
church today. Every item listed in the following statement is part of God’s
lines in the sand, and when we see these conditions in the church, it is too
late to pray for the corporate church. We then pray for only individuals.
COUNTERPART:
"The Lord commanded one of his ancient servants, 'Pray not thou for this
people [Jer. 7:16 and 11:14], neither lift up cry nor prayer for them neither
make intercession to me for I will not hear thee.' The prophet thus describes
the sins which had called forth this fearful denunciation: 'The prophets
prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means and my people love
to have it so and what will ye do in the end thereof?' 'From the least of them
even unto the greatest of them, every one is given to
covetousness and from the prophet even unto the priest, every one dealeth
falsely. They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly,
saying, Peace, peace, when there is no peace.' The apostles declare that this
state of things will find its COUNTERPART in the last days. Many have a form of
godliness, but in their daily life deny the power thereof. They have ceased to
be convicted of their sins or alarmed at their state. They say in their hearts,
'The church is flourishing. Peace and spiritual prosperity are within her
borders.' The words of the prophet may well apply to these self-deceivers,
'They have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their
abominations. I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears
upon them." E. G. White, Second Advent Review
and Sabbath Herald, 11-07-82.
COUNTERPART:
"In the time of the Saviour, the Jews had so covered over the precious
jewels of truth with the rubbish of tradition and fable, that it was impossible
to distinguish the true from the false. The Saviour came to clear away the
rubbish of superstition and long-cherished errors, and to set the jewels of
God's word in the framework of truth. What would the Saviour do if he should
come to us now as he did to the Jews? He would have to do a similar work in
clearing away the rubbish of tradition and ceremony. The Jews were greatly
disturbed when he did this work [As are SDAs today!].
They had lost sight of the original truth of God, but Christ brought it again
to view. It is our work to free the precious truths of God from superstition
and error." E.G. White, Review
and Herald, vol. 2, 308.
There
is a modern COUNTERPART to the ancient apostate "chosen people" of
God. That modern COUNTERPART is the people who claim to be the modern
"chosen people" of God, the remnant, God’s commandment-keeping people
if you will.
There
are over 100 statements to the affect that SDAs are
repeating the history of ancient Israel. Here are just a few of them:
"I
have been shown that the spirit of the world is fast leavening the church. You
are following the same path as did ancient Israel. There is the same falling away
from your holy calling as God's peculiar people. You are having fellowship with
the unfruitful works of darkness. Your [ecumenical] concord with unbelievers
have provoked he Lord's displeasure. You know not the things that belong to
your peace, and they are fast being hid from your eyes. [The very words applied
to fallen Israel on page 17 of The Great Controversy] Your neglect to follow
the light will place you in a more unfavorable position than the Jews upon whom
Christ pronounced a woe." Testimonies, Vol. 5, pp. 75-76.
"Like
ancient Israel, the church has dishonored her God by departing from the light,
neglecting her duties, and abusing her high and exalted privilege of being
peculiar and holy in character. Her members have violated their covenant to
live for God and him only. They have joined with the selfish and world-loving.
Pride, the love of pleasure, and sin have been cherished, and CHRIST HAS
DEPARTED. His Spirit has been quenched in the church. Satan works wide by side
with professed Christians yet they are so destitute of spiritual discernment
that they do not detect him." E.G. White, Testimonies, Vol. 2, pp. 441-442.
"Among
the professed followers of Christ, there is the same pride, formalism, vainglory,
selfishness, and OPPRESSION, that existed in the Jewish nation." E.G.
White, Sketches from the Life of Paul, 251-252.
"God's
professed people are selfish and self-caring....They are idolaters, and are
worse, in the sight of God, than the heathen, graven-image worshippers who have
had no knowledge of a better way." Testimonies, Vol. 2, 440-441.
1The word that came to Jeremiah from the
LORD saying,
2Hear ye the words of this covenant, and
speak unto the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem;
3And say thou unto them, Thus saith the
LORD God of Israel; Cursed be the man that obeyeth not the words of this
covenant,
4Which I commanded your fathers in the
day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace,
saying, Obey my voice, and do them, according to all which I command you: so
shall ye be my people, and I will be your God:
5That I may perform the oath which I have
sworn unto your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it
is this day. Then answered I, and said, So be it, O LORD.
6Then the LORD said unto me, Proclaim all
these words in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying,
Hear ye the words of this covenant, and do them.
7For I earnestly protested unto your
fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, even unto
this day, rising early and protesting, saying, Obey my voice.
8Yet they obeyed not, nor inclined their
ear, but walked every one in the imagination of their
evil heart: therefore I will bring upon them all the words of this covenant,
which I commanded them to do: but they did them not.
9And the LORD said unto me, A conspiracy
is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
10They are turned back to the iniquities
of their forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went after other
gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my
covenant which I made with their fathers.
11Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold,
I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though
they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them.
12Then shall the cities of Judah and
inhabitants of Jerusalem go, and cry unto the gods unto whom they offer
incense: but they shall not save them at all in the time of their trouble.
13For according to the number of thy
cities were thy gods, O Judah; and according to the number of the streets of
Jerusalem have ye set up altars to that shameful thing, even altars to burn
incense unto Baal.
14Therefore pray not thou for this
people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in
the time that they cry unto me for their trouble.
15What hath my beloved to do in mine
house, seeing she hath wrought lewdness with many, and the holy flesh is passed
from thee? when thou doest evil, then thou rejoicest. Jeremiah 11:1-15.
