"Let us bear in mind that Christ is the great central heart from which the LIFE BLOOD flows to every part of the great body of humanity. He is the head from which extend the nerves that reach even to the utmost parts of the body. When one member of the body with which Christ is so mystically connected, suffers, the throb of pain is felt by our Saviour." E.G. White, Review and Herald, October 16, 1894.

Dear Reader,

The Proof of the identity of the Holy Spirit is in the BLOOD because the LIFE is in the BLOOD. We see from the following Biblical and Spirit of Prophecy statements, that Christ's life was in His blood, and that if the Holy Spirit is the soul of HIS LIFE, and the impartation of the Spirit is the impartation of the LIFE OF CHRIST, then that Holy Spirit had to be of the same as the BLOOD OF CHRIST because the Life is in the blood, and no other third person Holy Spirit could be of the same blood as Christ.

Lev 17:11 For the life of the flesh [is] in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it [is] the blood [that] maketh an atonement for the soul.

What altar was Christ's blood given upon? The altar in the Sanctuary in heaven. Only the blood of the Son, the Testator of the Everlasting Covenant, could make an atonement for the soul.

"Christ declared that after His ascension, he would send to his church, as his crowning GIFT, the comforter, who is the Holy Spirit,--THE SOUL OF HIS LIFE, THE EFFICACY OF HIS CHURCH, THE LIGHT AND LIFE OF THE WORLD. With HIS SPIRIT Christ sends a reconciling influence and a power that takes away sin. In the gift of the Spirit, [HIS LIFE--THE SOUL OF HIS LIFE] Jesus gave to man the highest good that heaven could bestow." E.G. White, Review and Herald, May 19, 1904. Book 5, p. 42.

"The Holy Spirit is the breath of spiritual life in the soul. The impartation of the Spirit is the impartation of the life of Christ. It imbues the receiver with the attributes of Christ. Only those who are thus taught of God, those who possess the inward working of the Spirit, and in whose life the Christ-life is manifested, are to stand as representative men, to minister in behalf of the church." Desire of Ages, 805.

If the life is in the blood, and the life (blood) of Christ is the Holy Spirit, and there has been another third person Holy Spirit from eternity that is a separate, distinct person, then that third person would have His own life that would be distinct from Christ's life and blood, else all three personages of heaven would need be Incarnated to gave their blood in Atonement. When Ellen White said that the Holy Spirit is the LIFE and SOUL of Christ, that refers to HIS BLOOD. This cannot refer to another third person's life and blood, who co-existed with Christ from eternity, because only Christ was Incarnated and gave His blood in Atonement for sin. It can refer to a third person who became such when Christ laid aside that original life at His incarnation and gave it to us to eat and drink as a regenerating agency. This is what is represented in the last supper service and the continuum of the ordinances of that supper.

Scripture says that the life is in the blood. Ellen White says that the Holy Spirit is the LIFE (blood) BREATH AND SOUL OF CHRIST. This BLOOD of Christ cannot refer to the BLOOD of any other third person existing from eternity. It is the LIFE (BLOOD) of the Son, (NOT ANOTHER THIRD PERSON FROM ETERNITY) that was laid aside for us in the Sanctuary Atonement in heaven, when Christ laid aside His original life form to become another life form in the form of a servant combined with humanity FOREVER. Thus, He bequeathed His original life form to us as a regenerating agency, and to satisfy the demands of the Testator Covenant. Without the "laying aside" of that life, there has been no Atonement, no Sanctuary Service completed. Thus, the trinity doctrine does away with the Atonement and the Sanctuary type in heaven. Remember, Ellen White says it all happens there first:

Sanctuary Service-- "And what was done in type in the ministration of the earthly sanctuary is done in reality in the ministration of the heavenly Sanctuary." E.G. White, The Great Controversy, p. 420.
