Learning From the Mistakes

of

Great Men of God

Mat 9:13  But go ye and learn what [that] meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Rom 3:10  As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Mar 2:17  When Jesus heard [it], he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Luk 5:32  I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

In no way do I present the following evidence as an excuse for sin, but as an encouragement to sinners who believe themselves too unworthy to be forgiven. I also present this document as a rebuke to the self-righteous who have managed to live just good enough that they can see nothing wrong with themselves. And this condition is far more prevalent that most think. God Himself records most of the sins I mention in this document, in His Word, as an ensample and a lesson book for all of us, that we might see the vanity of such sins and avoid them by the grace empowerment of His Holy Spirit. But they are also recorded in Holy Writ as an encouragement to those who fall, letting them know that God loves us in spite of our sins and forgives and is longsuffering toward us.

It seems that some have lived what they deem as very pious and self-righteous lives. In the case of Enoch, this was a good thing. And it is a good thing to live righteously. That was God’s desire for man. But it seems that some individuals become lifted up because they can find no fault with their lives. The bad thing about this is that such ones have very little tolerance for those whom they regard as not having lived according to their standards. But thanks be to God, He says that His thoughts are not our thoughts, and we can see from Scripture just how true this is!

Matthew 9:13 (quoted in the heading) says that Christ came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Now I know that some think they are very righteous, but how many righteous souls are there according to God? None! I know that might come as a shock to some of you, but nevertheless, that is God’s verdict, not mine.

It might seem strange to some of the more self-righteous types that nearest the throne in heaven will be those who were once most zealous in the cause of Satan, but end up serving their Saviour with deep, intense devotion. And I would presume that the bride of Christ would be nearest Him on His throne.

"Nearest the throne are those who were once zealous in the cause of Satan, but who, plucked as brands from the burning, have followed their Saviour with deep, intense devotion. Next are those who perfected Christian characters in the midst of falsehood and infidelity, those who honored the law of God when the Christian world declared it void, and the millions, of all ages, who were martyred for their faith. And beyond is the "great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, . . . before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands." Revelation 7:9. Their warfare is ended, their victory won. They have run the race and reached the prize. The palm branch in their hands is a symbol of their triumph, the white robe an emblem of the spotless righteousness of Christ which now is theirs." E.G. White, The Great Controversy, p. 665.

In the first group, I see the bride of Christ. Next are the martyrs. And beyond is the great multitude who are not the bride. Of these groups, the only one that qualifies as the bride is the group nearest the throne, for the bride is not martyred, and neither is she of the great multitude, because she is translated without seeing death and only she goes into the Temple, as pillars (leaders) on Mt. Zion, Early Writings, p. 19 and Revelation 3:10-12.

An Interesting Question for the Self-righteous:

Do you qualify to be the bride of Christ who is seated nearest Him on His throne? Wouldn’t it be quite a surprise to those who accuse others day and night if those they accuse are the actual bride of Christ? But even more of a surprise, wouldn’t it be a tragedy if those who are forever and a day accusing others before the throne day and night of their sins, if such accusers are not found in heaven at all?!

Moses was a Murderer and he Struck the Rock Twice

Moses killed a man before God chose him to lead His people out of Egypt! Imagine that, a murderer leading God’s people for at least forty years!

Paul was a Serial Killer of Christians

We all know the story of how Paul murdered many Christians before his conversion, believing that he was doing God a great service.

Abraham Lied About his Wife Saying she was his Sister

Gen 20:2  And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She [is] my sister: and Abimelech king of Gerar sent, and took Sarah.

Isaac Lied About His Wife Saying she was his Sister so as to Save his Life

Some self-righteously accuse me of lying as though they never lied in their life! Yes, I have lied! And I have repented of lying because lying is an abomination to the Lord, but so did Abraham and Isaac lie, but that did not disqualify them from the Lord’s service. And I might add that if lying disqualifies one from the Lord’s service, THERE WOULD BE NO ONE ENGAGED IN THE LORD’S SERVICE! How would you like your lies publicly held against you on a continuing basis after you had apologized for such? That is what Satan does to us before the throne and it is his agents who do that on a regular basis.

Gen 26:9  And Abimelech called Isaac, and said, Behold, of a surety she [is] thy wife: and how saidst thou, She [is] my sister? And Isaac said unto him, Because I said, Lest I die for her.

David had Bathsheba’s Husband Killed so he Could Have Her for His Wife

It is encouraging to know that even after David committed such a dastardly act as putting Bathsheba’s husband, Uriah, on the front lines so he would be killed, so he could have his wife, God still referred to David as a man after His own heart! Do we serve a forgiving God or what!? And if God forgave such heinous sins of His subjects, should we not forgive one another for our sins?

Act 13:22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the [son] of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.

David had a Number of Wives

David had at least four wives at one time. He was a bigamist, but yet he was a man after God’s own heart! Amazing!

Jacob had two Wives and two Concubines

One would think that Leah and Rachel would have been enough for Jacob, but some might not know that he had two concubines as well. Now that was not a good thing in the least, but that was not unpardonable sin.

Martin Luther at Times was in  Danger of Going to Extremes, But Yet God Used Him

"I saw that Luther was ardent and zealous, fearless and bold, in reproving sin and advocating the truth. He cared not for wicked men or devils; he knew that he had One with him mightier than they all. Luther possessed zeal, courage, and boldness, and at times was in danger of going to extremes. But God raised up Melanchthon, who was just the opposite in character, to aid Luther in carrying on the work of reformation. Melanchthon was timid, fearful, cautious, and possessed great patience. He was greatly beloved of God. His knowledge of the Scriptures was great, and his judgment and wisdom excellent. His love for the cause of God was equal to Luther’s. The hearts of these men the Lord knit together; they were inseparable friends. Luther was a great help to Melanchthon when in danger of being fearful and slow, and Melanchthon in turn was a great help to Luther when in danger of moving too fast. Melanchthon’s farseeing caution often averted trouble which would have come upon the cause had the work been left alone to Luther; and ofttimes the work would not have been pushed forward had it been left to Melanchthon alone. I was shown the wisdom of God in choosing these two men to carry on the work of reformation." {EW 224.1}

List of Luther's Insults

luther.jpg  http://ergofabulous.org/luther/insult-list.php

Just to let the self-righteous know that God used a pretty foul mouthed individual in the person of Luther and Ellen White endorsed Luther as well. Remember this fact and all the facts of this document when my adversarial detractors cite my sins of the past and then ask: Can this man have the Holy Spirit? Can this man be a prophet of God? God has forgiven my sins as he forgave all the sins of men cited in this document, but some of my adversaries refuse to forgive, so they will not be forgiven. Would you like you join their number?

Martin Luther’s Dirty Little Book http://www.nobeliefs.com/luther.htm

On a very few occasions, I, Ron Beaulieu, have gone to extremes and have had to apologize for untoward and unChristlike remarks to certain persons. I once called a man a satanic bastard of a human being, and qualified that by those words I meant he was/is a hybrid of man and Satan’s spirit as in an illegitimate child. But he never includes that qualification with his continuum of accusing me day and night to anyone who is foolish enough to listen to the man. Anyway, I apologized to him and God, for using a slang expressions, which is wrong. But no matter, he continues years later to accuse me before God and everyone else who will listen to him concerning a wrong I apologized for.

I apologized for telling a certain woman that she was so contemptuous that apparently she needed either a dildo or a good man (because she was not married at middle age and was so nasty), but have been held up in contempt by a certain person ever since, and that was many years ago now. At the time, the same woman was accusing him of beating his wife, so he readily agree with me, but now accuses me. Such persons perform the work of Satan by accusing me day and night before the throne of God, as if they are not themselves grossly sinning by this forbidden act. At least one of them has committed unpardonable sin by defending a church that has committed unpardonable sin. This is one of the follies of all follies.

All the Disciples had Serious Faults When Jesus Chose Them

“All the disciples had serious faults when Jesus called them to His service. Even John, who came into closest association with the meek and lowly One, was not himself naturally meek and yielding. He and his brother were called ‘the sons of thunder’. . Jesus reproved His disciples, He warned and cautioned them; but John and his brethren did not leave Him; they chose Jesus, notwithstanding the reproofs. The Saviour did not withdraw from them because of their weakness and errors. They continued to the end to share His trials and to learn the lessons of His life. By beholding Christ, they became transformed in character.”—Desire of Ages, 294-296.

Solomon had 900 wives and 300 Concubines

Ellen White said Solomon will be saved, and there is no doubt of that from Scripture. When I am falsely accused of being a womanizer, I have been known to say that I haven’t quite caught up to Solomon yet, and probably won’t because I am 70 years of age as of 2012, when actually, I dated very few women in my life.

Elijah ran from Jezebel and was Thought to be Unnecessarily Severe

“Those whom God has chosen for an important work have ever been received with distrust and suspicion. Anciently, when Elijah was sent with a message from God to the people, they did not heed the warning. They thought him unnecessarily severe. They even thought that he must have lost his senses because he denounced them, the favored people of God, as sinners, and their crimes as so aggravated that the judgments of God would awaken against them. Satan and his host have ever been arrayed against those who bear the message of warning and who reprove sins. The unconsecrated will also be united with the adversary of souls, to make the work of God’s faithful servants as hard as possible.”—3 Testimonies, 261.

It would be well for you to remember the fact that those whom God has chosen for an important work have always been received with distrust, suspicion and evil surmising! Even some of my own family have joined in the evil of false accusation that will take them nowhere but down. This is part of the injustice that all God’s servants have always had to bear, but woe unto all who participate in this evil. All manner of falsities were circulated about Ellen White, and the same would happen to you friend, if you were doing what I do. Satan will do everything he can to discredit the truth and any who give it.

“All your efforts to save the erring may be unavailing. They may repay you evil for good. They may be enraged rather than convinced. What if they hear to no good purpose and pursue the evil course they have begun? This will frequently occur. Sometimes the mildest and tenderest reproof will have no good effect. In that case the blessing you wanted another to receive by pursuing a course of righteousness, ceasing to do evil and learning to do well, will return into your own bosom.

“If the erring persist in sin, treat them kindly, and leave them with your heavenly Father. You have delivered your soul; their sin no longer rests upon you; you are not now partaker of their sin. But if they perish, their blood is upon their own head.”—2 Testimonies, 53-54.

Some of my worst critics who accuse me day and night before the throne of God for what they perceive as my mistakes and sins, have committed unpardonable sin by defending a church that has traversed off the Midnight Cry lighted pathway via ecumenical liaison with Babylon’s associations, councils and confederacies in violation of both the Midnight Cry and the three angel’s messages.

How to Commit Unpardonable Sin 101

It never ceases to amaze me how some folk will accuse me for non-unpardonable sins while they defend a church that has committed unpardonable sin. Both Dr. (SDA pastors) John Grosboll and  the late Dr. Ralph Larson stated a truth that the SDA church has committed unpardonable sin in their co-authored article entitled None Dare Call it Apostasy. http://www.stepstolife.org/library/jgrosball/nonedare_1.htm

Grosboll and Larson say: “The church must say about sin what God says about it. She must deal with it as God directs, and her action is ratified in heaven.” DA 806.

They say the church must say about sin what God says about it. What does God say about the sin of conspiracy with His enemies in Jeremiah 11:9-15 and Isaiah 8:9-12? What does God say about Adventism’s COUNTERPART sin with the Jews of Jeremiah 11:14?

In 1844, Ellen White said that all who heard and understood the Midnight Cry and the first and second angel’s messages, but then, or later, rejected those messages, experienced a shut door on salvation. She never reneged on that aspect of the shut-door teaching.

"While praying at the family altar, the Holy Ghost fell on me, and I seemed to be rising higher and higher, far above the dark world. I turned to look for the Advent people in the world, but could not find them--when a voice said to me, 'Look again, and look a little higher.' At this I raised my eyes and saw a straight and narrow path cast up high above the world. On this path the Advent people were traveling to the City, which was at the farther end of the path. They had a bright light set up behind them at the first end of the path, which an angel told me was the Midnight Cry. This light shone all along the path, and gave light for their feet so they might not stumble. And if they kept their eyes fixed on Jesus, who was just before them, leading them to the City, they were safe. But soon some grew weary, and they said the City was a great way of, and they expected to have entered it before. Then Jesus would encourage them by raising his glorious right arm, and from his arm came a glorious light which waved over the Advent band, and they shouted Hallelujah! Others rashly denied the light [MIDNIGHT CRY VIOLATED BY ECUMENICAL LIAISONS WITH BABYLON] behind them, and said that it was not God that had led them out so far. The light behind them went out leaving their feet in perfect darkness, and they stumbled and got their eyes off the mark and lost sight of Jesus, and fell off the path down in the dark and wicked world below. It was just as impossible for them to get on the path again and go to the City, as all the wicked world which God had rejected. They fell all the way along the path one after another, until we heard the voice of God like many waters, which gave us the day and hour of Jesus' coming....

By this time the 144,000 were all sealed and perfectly united. On their foreheads was written, God, New Jerusalem, and a glorious Star containing Jesus' new name." E.G. White, Word to the Little Flock, p. 14.  [cf. “New Jerusalem,” Message to Philadelphia, Rev. 3:10-12.]

When Israel Conspired With  God’s Enemies, They Committed Unpardonable Sin

How a generation of Jews committed unpardonable sin centuries before their general probation closed in A.D. 34.

And the Lord said unto me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

10 They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers.

11 Therefore thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them.

12 Then shall the cities of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem go, and cry unto the gods unto whom they offer incense: but they shall not save them at all in the time of their trouble.

13 For according to the number of thy cities were thy gods, O Judah; and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem have ye set up altars to that shameful thing, even altars to burn incense unto Baal.

14 Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble.

15 What hath my beloved [bride of Christ] to do in mine house, seeing she hath wrought lewdness with many, and the holy flesh is passed from thee? when thou doest evil, then thou rejoicest. Jeremiah 11:9-15.

Ellen White said a parallel (COUNTERPART) to the above scenario will be manifest by God’s people in the last day:

The SDA COUNTERPART FACTOR to the Jews

COUNTERPART: "The Lord commanded one of his ancient servants, 'Pray not thou for this people [Jer. 7:16 and 11:14], neither lift up cry nor prayer for them neither make intercession to me for I will not hear thee.' The prophet thus describes the sins which had called forth this fearful denunciation: 'The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means and my people love to have it so and what will ye do in the end thereof?' 'From the least of them even unto the greatest of them, every one is given to covetousness and from the prophet even unto the priest, every one dealeth falsely. They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace, when there is no peace.' The apostles declare that this state of things will find its COUNTERPART in the last days. Many have a form of godliness, but in their daily life deny the power thereof. They have ceased to be convicted of their sins or alarmed at their state. They say in their hearts, 'The church is flourishing. Peace and spiritual prosperity are within her borders.' The words of the prophet may well apply to these self-deceivers, 'They have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations. I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them." E. G. White, Second Advent Review and Sabbath Herald, 11-07-82.

"Shall the Lord be compelled to say, `Pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to Me: for I will not hear thee' [Jeremiah 7:16]? `Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain....Wilt thou not from this time cry unto Me, My Father, thou art the guide of my youth' [Jeremiah 3:3-4]?...
We are to be judged by the light that has been given us,(159) and we can find no excuse by which to extenuate our course."
Review and Herald, Vol. 3, p 69-70 (August 1, 1893). (Brackets by Ellen White)

COUNTERPART: "In the time of the Saviour, the Jews had so covered over the precious jewels of truth with the rubbish of tradition and fable, that it was impossible to distinguish the true from the false. The Saviour came to clear away the rubbish of superstition and long-cherished errors, and to set the jewels of God's word in the framework of truth. What would the Saviour do if he should come to us now as he did to the Jews? He would have to do a similar work in clearing away the rubbish of tradition and ceremony. The Jews were greatly disturbed when he did this work [As are SDAs today!]. They had lost sight of the original truth of God, but Christ brought it again to view. It is our work to free the precious truths of God from superstition and error." E.G. White,
Review and Herald, Vol. 2, 308.

The Lord commanded one of his ancient servants, "Pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them; neither make intercession to me; for I will not hear thee." The prophet thus describes the sins which had called forth this fearful denunciation: "The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so; and what will ye do in the end thereof?" "From the least of them even unto the greatest of them, every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the priest, every one dealeth falsely. They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace, when there is no peace." {RH, November 7, 1882 par. 8}

The apostles declare that this state of things will find its counterpart in the last days. Many have a form of godliness, but in their daily life deny the power thereof. They have ceased to be convicted of their sins or alarmed at their state. They say in their hearts, "The church is flourishing. Peace and spiritual prosperity are within her borders." The words of the prophet may well apply to these self-deceivers, "They have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations. I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them." {RH, November 7, 1882 par. 9}

When God instructs not to pray for a people, that implies that they have committed unpardonable sin.

Who else but SDA’s could qualify as the COUNTERPART of the Jews when they both are “chosen people” who claim to keep the commandments of God and constitute a remnant?!

Anyone who disagrees that the church has committed unpardonable sin should be able to give you an explanation for the following statements by Ellen White:

“Of those who boast of their light, and yet fail to walk in it, Christ says, "But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you. And thou, Capernaum [Seventh-day Adventists, who have had great light], which art exalted unto heaven [in point of privilege], shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee." Review and Herald, August 1, 1893. The bracketed portion is Ellen White’s. I have added nothing!

Notice the date, August 1, 1893. This was two months after Ellen White scolded Stanton and  Caldwell for calling the church Babylon. Obviously the spiritual refreshing the church was experiencing in June of that year did not last long for Ellen White to say two months later that Seventh-day Adventists “shalt be brought down to hell!” Explain this if you disagree with my conclusion.

But more importantly, explain this:

"Jesus sends HIS PEOPLE a message of warning to prepare them for his coming. To the prophet John was made known the closing work in the great plan of man's redemption. He beheld an angel flying 'in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him for the hour of his Judgment is come and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters [Rev. 14:6, 7.].

The angel represented in prophecy as delivering this message,  symbolizes a class of faithful men, who, obedient to the promptings of God's Spirit and the teachings of his word, proclaim this warning to the inhabitants of earth. This message was not to be committed to the religious leaders of the people. They had failed to preserve their connection with God, and had REFUSED THE LIGHT FROM HEAVEN therefore they WERE NOT of the number described by the apostle Paul: 'But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day we are not of the night nor of darkness' [1 Thess. 5:4, 5].

The watchmen upon the walls of Zion should be the first to catch the tidings of the Saviour's advent, the first to lift their voices to proclaim him near, the first to warn the people to prepare for his coming. But they were at ease, dreaming of peace and safety, while the people were asleep in their sins. Jesus saw HIS CHURCH, like the barren fig-tree, covered with pretentious leaves, yet destitute of precious fruit. There was a boastful observance of the forms of religion, while the spirit of true humility, penitence and faith--which alone could render the service acceptable to God--was lacking. Instead of the graces of the Spirit, there were manifested pride, formalism, vainglory, selfishness, oppression. A BACKSLIDING CHURCH closed their eyes to the signs of the times. God did nor forsake them, or suffer his faithfulness to fail but they departed from him, and SEPARATED THEMSELVES from his love. As they REFUSED TO COMPLY WITH THE CONDITIONS, his promises were NOT FULFILLED to them."  E.G. White, The Spirit of Prophecy, Vol. 4, pp. 199-200 [The 1884 edition of The Great Controversy, 199, 200].

Note in the above statement:

·       Ellen White is addressing HIS PEOPLE.

·       Ellen White is addressing those to whom was committed the EVERLASTING GOSPEL of Revelation 14.

·       Ellen White is defining the angel represented in prophecy AS DELIVERING THIS MESSAGE--NOT MEN OF BABYLON WHO FAILED TO ACCEPT THAT MESSAGE AS THE 1911 EDITION IMPLIES!

·       Ellen White is implying that the third angel's message is delivered NOT BY THE LEADERS OF THE SDA CHURCH, but by a class of faithful men because the leaders had failed to preserve their connection with God and had refused light from heaven!

·       Ellen White is addressing "watchmen upon the walls of Zion," NOT FALLEN BABYLON!

·       And twice Ellen White mentions HIS CHURCH, NOT FALLEN BABYLON.

Ellen White is addressing a BACKSLIDING CHURCH whose leaders and laity alike failed by rejecting light from heaven, and who refused to comply with the conditions so that God's promises are not fulfilled to them. This is irrefutable evidence on the final fate of the SDA once church militant. But a faithful remnant will come out and go through to the Kingdom, Isaiah 37:31, 32.

Weak and Erring -- "As the Elder Brother of our race He (Christ) knows that the messengers whom He sees fit to send are WEAK, ERRING men but to all who give themselves wholly to His service He promises divine aid." E.G. White, Acts of the Apostles, p. 56.

I am but a weak and erring man. I have made some bad mistakes. But my sincere desire is to warn God’s people and to teach present and compelling truth. God has commissioned me with that work. By His grace, I will be faithful to the end. We have seen in this document that many men God used made serious mistakes, but that did not disqualify them from being used by Him and being invested with His Holy Spirit. Personal faults and defects such as we all have should NEVER be confused with gross, unpardonable sin apostasy for which we are to sigh and cry ALOUD and show God’s people BY WAY OF WARNING THEM. Isaiah 58:1. Crying aloud is not pining to the Lord and/or yourself in your closet!

“On the other hand, the leaders among God's people are to guard against the danger of condemning the methods of individual workers who are led by the Lord to do a special work that but few are fitted to do. Let brethren in responsibility be slow to criticize movements that are not in perfect harmony with their methods of labor. Let them never suppose that every plan should reflect their own personality. Let them not fear to trust another's methods; for by withholding their confidence from a brother laborer who, with humility and consecrated zeal, is doing a special work in God's appointed way, they are retarding the advancement of the Lord's cause.” {9T 259.1}

I would be more than happy to reconcile any statement by Ellen G. White with the weight of evidence. Just send such to rsbeauli@telusplanet.net

and I will respond. If somehow I miss your email (because I get a lot of mail) persist until I do see it and repond! When the Lord first commissioned me with my warning message, He promised me that He would never leave me without an answer to the misrepresentations made against Ellen White’s works by the leaders.

The only way to avoid being corporately responsible for unpardonable sin apostasy is by separating from those who are imbibing it. Were this not so, we should all go back to the church of our fathers! It is impossible to unite with the corrupt and become/remain pure. That is God’s assessment.
