Numbers -- "If you lower the standard in order to secure popularity and an increase of numbers, and then make this increase a cause of rejoicing (celebration), you show great blindness. If numbers were an evidence of success, Satan might claim the pre-eminence for, in this world, his followers are largely in the majority... It is the virtue, intelligence, and piety of the people composing our churches, not their numbers, that should be a source of joy and thankfulness.” Counsels to Teachers, p. 94.

"I saw our people in great distress, weeping, and praying, pleading the sure promises of God, while the wicked were all around us, mocking us, and threatening to destroy us. They ridiculed our feebleness, they mocked at the smallness of our numbers, and taunted us with words calculated to cut deep. They charged us with taking an independent position from all the rest of the world.” Maranatha p. 209.

“What strange work Elijah would have done in numbering Israel at the time when God’s judgments were falling upon the backsliding people! He could count only one on the Lord’s side. But when he said, “I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life,” the word of the Lord surprised him, “Yet I have left Me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal.” 1 Kings 19:14, 18. {PK 189.1}

Then let no man attempt to number Israel today, but let everyone have a heart of flesh, a heart of tender sympathy, a heart that, like the heart of Christ, reaches out for the salvation of a lost world.” {PK 189.2}

On Tuesday, January 29, 2019, as I was watching a recent DVD sent to me by Walter Veith’s Amazing Discoveries organization, I was given a vision of how Satan used LeRoy Froom and is now using Walter Veith, compared with how he used Billy Graham, and John Lennon, compared to how Jesus worked in the most up to date TYPOLOGY we have in Scripture, via the example Jesus left as a correct response to apostasy. My angel instructed me to present the following evidence which God has against His once chosen people.

Our Every Prayer For Any and Every Person We Mention

May God help the reader to realize that it is not our objective to condemn, but to awaken and enlist God’s people in His True Reformer cause. Ellen White stated that every reform movement is accompanied by Satan’s efforts to discount the truth. So yes, sadly, there are the false who accompany the True Reformer movement and refer to themselves as “reformers,” but that does not negate the fact that True Reformers and pure truth exist. Tares, insincere believers are in all groups, but true reformers will not tolerate open sin apostasy.

All MEMBERS of the new apostate movement, are corporately responsible for it, as are those who support that movement with the sacred tithe and offerings. That is the teaching of God’s Word, and His Spirit of Prophecy. We remember those we mention in all our prayers, that they will recognize and respond to the pure truth.

Ellen White stated in 1894, that to stop off the foundation of the truths that had been taught for the last 50 years, would be apostasy from the truth. So it was that Satan CAME IN “AMONG” Seventh-day Adventists, and formed a new movement, new organization, that removed God, by removing pillar doctrines such as the truth on the Godhead and the human nature of Jesus Christ.

In the Alpha heresy, the ministering brethren were looking on, but did not understand that Kellogg’s teaching on the personality of God and Christ, rendered the Sanctuary GONE; THE ATONEMENT, GONE. The very same thing has accrued in the Omega heresy, along with many more abominations for which we are to sigh and cry AS A CONDITION for being sealed. Ezekiel 9:4.

Eze 9:4 And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

The abominations go far beyond Jesuit Spiritual Formation exercises and the celebration movement which Walter Veith makes brief negative mention of in his video. Far more serious Abominations have been committed that sweep away the entire Christian economy. Those abominations need to be addressed by Walter Veith. The Sanctuary/Atonement is GONE because of the Trinity Doctrine which says that the three persons to the Godhead are co-ETERNAL. God’s Word says that the Testator must die to something FOREVER, for while the testator liveth, the testament, the Everlasting Covenant, is of NO STRENGTH AT ALL. The Testator died to being DIVINE ONLY, forever, to become human forever, to pay the penalty for man’s sin which penalty is eternal death. But even three days of death in a tomb would render the Testator NON-ETERNAL. Any death of the Testator would render Him as NON-co-ETERNAL) WITH HIS FORMER ETERNITY WITH THE FATHER, MAKING ONLY TWO PERSONS CO-ETERNAL.

Heb 9:16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.

Heb 9:17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

The Incarnation of the Son of God into a human PERSON, made another NON-COETERNAL MEMBER OF THE GODHEAD. If there was already three co-eternal persons as the Trinity Doctrine teaches, the would have to be four when the Incarnation occurred. Because the Incarnation resulted in another person. THE NON-ETERNAL HUMANITY OF CHRIST. Which was ADOPTED into the Godhead of heaven:

“God has adopted human nature in the person of His Son, and has carried the same into the highest heaven. Heaven,” p. 72.

"By His life and His death, Christ has achieved even more than recovery from the ruin wrought through sin. It was Satan's purpose to bring about an eternal separation between God and man but in Christ we become more closely united to God than if we had never fallen. In taking our nature, the Saviour has bound himself to humanity by a tie that is never to be broken. Through the eternal ages He is linked with us. 'God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son.' [John 3:16]. He gave Him not only to bear our sins, and to die as our sacrifice He gave Him to the fallen race. To assure us of His immutable counsel of peace, God gave His only Begotten Son to become one of the human family forever to retain His human nature. This is the pledge that God will fulfill His word. 'Unto us a child is born unto us a son is given and the government shall be upon His shoulder.' God has adopted human nature in the person of His Son, and has carried the same into the highest heaven. It is the 'Son of man' who shares the throne of the universe. It is the 'Son of man' whose name shall be called, 'Wonderful, Counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the prince of Peace.' [Isa. 9:6]. The I Am is the Daysman between God and humanity, laying His hand upon both. HE who is 'holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners,' is not ashamed to call us brethren. [Heb. 7:26 2:11.] In Christ the family of earth and the family of heaven are bound together. Christ glorified is our brother. Heaven is enshrined in humanity, and humanity is enfolded in the bosom of Infinite love." The Desire of Ages, 25.

The HUMAN SON OF GO, who was adopted into the Godhead of heaven, is not CO-ETERNAL with the Divine Nature Holy Spirit HIMSELF PERSON of the Godhead, because prior to the Incarnation, there was NO HUMAN PERSON AS PARTY TO THE GODHEAD. Walter Veith, a Trinitarian, has said that this teaching on the Godhead is NONSENSE. That is totally subversive and slanderous to God Almighty.

I was shown that the greater numbers Walter Veith enlists in the new movement teaching this heresy, the harder it will be for him to ever admit to his great error in teaching his patrons that they should super glue themselves to a pew at the new movement, that is teaching a false gospel because of its error on the Godhead.

One Chapter of Scripture, John 14, and Three statements by Ellen White establish the truth on the Godhead:

"Christ declared that after his ascension, he would send to his church, as his crowning gift, the Comforter, who was to take his place. This Comforter is the Holy Spirit,--the soul of his life, the efficacy of his church, the light and life of the world. With his Spirit Christ sends a reconciling influence and a power that takes away sin.

In the gift of the Spirit [HIS LIFE--THE SOUL OF HIS LIFE], Jesus gave to man the highest good that heaven could bestow....

The Spirit was given as a regenerating agency, and without this the sacrifice of Christ would have been of no avail....

It is by the Spirit that the heart is made pure. Through the Spirit the believer becomes a partaker of the divine nature. Christ has given his Spirit as a divine power to overcome all hereditary and cultivated tendencies to evil, and to impress his own character upon the church." E.G. White, Review and Herald Articles, May 19, 1904, vol. 5, p. 42.

“Christ had stooped to take upon Himself man’s nature; He was to bear an infinite weight of woe as He should make His soul an offering for sin; yet angels desire that even in His humiliation the Son of the Highest might appear before men with a dignity and glory befitting His character.” E.G. White, The Great Controversy, pp. 313, 314.

"Cumbered with humanity Christ could not be in every place personally, therefore it was altogether for their advantage that He should leave them to go to His Father and send the Holy Spirit to be His successor on earth. The Holy Spirit is Himself divested of the personality of humanity and independent thereof. He would represent Himself as present in all places by His Holy Spirit.” E.G. White, (Manuscript Releases Volume 14 (No’s 1081-1135) MR No.1084.

How did The Son of God make His soul, His Holy Spirit, the soul of His life, an offering for sin? He forever “died” to being, existing as, Holy Spirit HIMSELF (ALONE) forever. That is how the Testator died, because Divinity cannot die says Ellen White. That is the only way the Testator, The Holy Spirit of the eternal Son of God, could die, because Ellen White said that divinity did not die on the cross.

The wages of sin is death. How could Christ make His soul, His Holy Spirit, the soul of His life and the life of His soul, an offering for sin? The answer that God showed me is that the Son died FOREVER to His Divine ONLY existence. This met the prescribed limit of a sacrifice per the Testator’s Covenant (Death of the Testator).

Emptied Himself --"Literally, 'emptied Himself.' This emptying was voluntary (see on John 10:17, 18). It was not possible for Christ to retain all the tokens of divinity and still accomplish the Incarnation." SDA Bible Commentary, vol. 7, p. 155, col.1.

What was “Emptied?”

The humanity of Christ cumbered the three omni’s. They were emptied from His humanity FOREVER, and that is how He made His soul, the Holy Spirit soul of His former DIVINE ONLY life, an offering for sin. That is how He “died” forever to His former life of Holy Spirit Divine Nature ONLY, to become human AS WELL, FOREVER.

Many folk believe Christ died as a human for three days, and then went back to heaven and got back all He had emptied Himself of (“died to” as Testator. That is not true, because were that true, the Testator would sill live IN HIS FORMER ESTATE, VOIDING THE TESTATOR’S TESTAMENT (COVENANT TO DIE TO SOMETHING FOREVER), and the Bible says that He became a human man priest FOREVER:

²²By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.

²³And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death:

²⁴But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.

²⁵Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

²⁶For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

²⁷Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.

²⁸For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore. Hebrews 7:22-28.

Christ Retains Human Nature Forever

“Christ ascended to heaven, bearing a sanctified, holy humanity. He took this humanity with Him into the heavenly courts, and through the eternal ages He will bear it, as the One who has redeemed every human being in the city of God.”--The Review and Herald, March 9, 1905. {7ABC 488.1}

“In stooping to take upon Himself humanity, Christ revealed a character the opposite of the character of Satan. . . . In taking our nature, the Saviour has bound Himself to humanity by a tie that is never to be broken. Through the eternal ages He is linked with us. "God so loved the world, that He gave His only-begotten Son." John 3:16. He gave Him not only to bear our sins, and to die as our sacrifice; He gave Him to the fallen race. To assure us of His immutable counsel of peace, God gave His only-begotten Son to become one of the human family, forever to retain His human nature. This is the pledge that God will fulfill His word. "Unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder." God has adopted human nature in the person of His Son, and has carried the same into the highest heaven.”—Desire of Ages, p. 25. {7ABC 456.4}

Before His Incarnation, the humanity of Christ did not exist, and there were only TWO PERSONS before the Incarnation. So how can there be THREE CO-ETERNAL PERSONS as the Trinity Doctrine teaches. That teaching obfuscates the Incarnation Sanctuary/Atonement Sacrifice, which for the FIRST TIME, accounted for ANOTHER PERSON TO THE GODHEAD IN THE HUMANITY OF CHRIST. So how could there by THREE CO-ETERNAL persons as the Trinity Doctrine teaches. If there are three co-ETERNAL PERSONS, there was no Atonement sacrifice whatsoever, for the atonement sacrifice occurred at the Incarnation of Christ.

Why do I repeat the truth on the Godhead? For the benefit of Walter Veith, who says it is NONSENSE, and because he believes in the antichrist Trinity Doctrine, which by-passes the Incarnation sacrifice, by its teaching that there are three CO-ETERNAL PERSONS. Were that true, there was NO DEATH OF THE TESTATOR, NO SANCTUARY ATONEMENT, NO INCARNATION, WHICH PRODUCED ANOTHER PERSON TO THE GODHEAD, a non-CO-ETERNAL PERSON in the humanity of Christ.

THE SIN OF NUMBERING ISRAEL

The prime sin in numbering Israel, consisted/consists in relying on numbers rather than God, when, in the final warfare, there will not be one thread of man’s devising. Numbering of Israel is a forbidden thread of human devising. Why is it forbidden? Because God want’s man to depend upon Him, because numbers won’t do the job of giving the final Loud Midnight Cry. Only the voice of God and the voice of the bride, the 144,000 and NOT THE GREAT MULTITUDE OF NUMBERS in any “church denomination: will give the Loud Cry. COL, 405-406.

Only the perfect character of Christ imparted to those who overcome by the grace of His Holy Spirit gift of His Divine Nature, will be used to give the final Loud Midnight Cry to the Ten Virgins. NOT 20 million plus new movement members who have removed God! The church currently number over 20 million, so if all it required was numbers, there would be MORE THAN ENOUGH ADVENTISTS to usher in the second coming of Jesus. But Ellen White says that Christ is waiting for the perfection of His character in His bride. Human devising will be counting on numbers NOT POSSESSING THE CHARACTER OF CHRIST to constitute God’s army, and that won’t be!

“This robe, woven in the loom of heaven, has in it not one thread of human devising. Christ in His humanity wrought out a perfect character, and this character He offers to impart to us. “All our righteousnesses are as filthy rags.” Isaiah 64:6. Everything that we of ourselves can do is defiled by sin. But the Son of God “was manifested to take away our sins; and in Him is no sin.” Sin is defined to be “the transgression of the law.” 1 John 3:5, 4. But Christ was obedient to every requirement of the law. He said of Himself, “I delight to do Thy will, O My God; yea, Thy law is within My heart.” Psalm 40:8. When on earth, He said to His disciples, “I have kept My Father’s commandments.” John 15:10. By His perfect obedience He has made it possible for every human being to obey God’s commandments. When we submit ourselves to Christ, the heart is united with His heart, the will is merged in His will, the mind becomes one with His mind, the thoughts are brought into captivity to Him; we live His life. This is what it means to be clothed with the garment of His righteousness. Then as the Lord looks upon us He sees, not the fig-leaf garment, not the nakedness and deformity of sin, but His own robe of righteousness, which is perfect obedience to the law of Jehovah.” {COL 311.4}

Regarding the DVD being discussed in this manuscript, Walter Veith is apparently ignorant of God’s punishment of David for numbering Israel. (1Chronicles 21:2 - 3). This week I received a form letter from Walter Veith’s Amazing Discoveries ministry sent to all who had purchased DVD’s from his ministry in the past. The main counsel of the letter, printed in red letters was: COUNTING AND KEEPING YOUR MEMBERS, which is also the title of his latest DVD, a copy of which he included in the same mail. In the video, Walter Veith shows the great number of responses that his videos have garnered. When I watched this, I couldn’t help wondering how many of those folk would be groomed to take his advice and glue themselves to a pew of a new movement that has removed God, since he ardently defends that new movement that removed God, with all this being a fulfillment of Matthew 23:15.

My angel called my mind to the attention of Isaiah 62:4, and the fact that God’s true reformers are now termed forsaken. They cannot now take pride in numbers, because their message is not popular. They are persecuted and maligned as were Christ and His followers. See Matthew 22:1-10, which Ellen White reapplies to our time in Sermons and Talks, Bk. 1, pp. 4-10.

Walter Veith refers to the True Reformers as “bleating sheep” who should not be listened to.

In Isaiah 62:4, God says that Zion is termed Forsaken and Desolate. But there will come a time when she is no longer termed such.

Isa 62:4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.

I was shown that the reason True Zion, the bride, is termed Forsaken and Desolate now, is because of her small numbers due to the unpopularity of her message. She is to depend fully upon God, and not numbers. Also, she is part of an unknown “hidden” 5T81, Firmament of “faithful chosen ones” in all the dark corners of the earth, says Ellen White.

The New Movement is Addicted to the Numbers Racket

My angel expressed disdain in regard to the once church militant become new movement, which regularly NUMBERS ITS MEMBERS, and now numbers more than twenty million, while it has not been able to prepare a 144,000 in number bride to give the final message, which its prophetess said it could have done in 1844, and 1888. I was shown that in light of what it could have and should have done, it should be ashamed of its numbers. I saw that increased numbers are the intoxication of Satan, when and while the church is regularly imbibing abominations for which Ezekiel 9 slaughter will be the result.

The apostate church and foolish virgin apostates, seem addicted to the numbers racket. Some of them have even written to me putting down my ministry as compared to the numbers and new facilities of Walter Veith, Doug Batchelor and Andrew Henriques, all of whom do not give a separation message from the apostate new movement that has removed God. 1SM 204-205. Every time that has happened, I can’t help but muse that if such persons are so impressed by numbers as a sign of God’s blessing, the Catholic church surpasses all others! Is that by the blessing of God, or the god of Babylon?

God knows that there is danger in trusting to numbers instead of Him, and that is why He was angered at David for doing that very thing:

The Last Years of David

This chapter is based on 2 Samuel 24; 1 Kings 1; 1 Chronicles 21; 28; 29.

“The overthrow of Absalom did not at once bring peace to the kingdom. So large a part of the nation had joined in revolt that David would not return to his capital and resume his authority without an invitation from the tribes. In the confusion that followed Absalom’s defeat there was no prompt and decided action to recall the king, and when at last Judah undertook to bring back David, the jealousy of the other tribes was roused, and a counter-revolution followed. This, however, was speedily quelled, and peace returned to Israel. {PP 746.1}

The history of David affords one of the most impressive testimonies ever given to the dangers that threaten the soul from power and riches and worldly honor—those things that are most eagerly desired among men. Few have ever passed through an experience better adapted to prepare them for enduring such a test. David’s early life as a shepherd, with its lessons of humility, of patient toil, and of tender care for his flocks; the communion with nature in the solitude of the hills, developing his genius for music and poetry, and directing his thoughts to the Creator; the long discipline of his wilderness life, calling into exercise courage, fortitude, patience, and faith in God, had been appointed by the Lord as a preparation for the throne of Israel. David had enjoyed precious experiences of the love of God, and had been richly endowed with His Spirit; in the history of Saul he had seen the utter worthlessness of mere human wisdom. And yet worldly success and honor so weakened the character of David that he was repeatedly overcome by the tempter. {PP 746.2}

Intercourse with heathen peoples led to a desire to follow their national customs and kindled ambition for worldly greatness. As the people of Jehovah, Israel was to be honored; but as pride and self-confidence increased, the Israelites were not content with this pre-eminence. They cared rather for their standing among other nations. This spirit could not fail to invite temptation. With a view to extending his conquests among foreign nations, David determined to increase his army by requiring military service from all who were of proper age. To effect this, it became necessary to take a census of the population. It was pride and ambition that prompted this action of the king. The numbering of the people would show the contrast between the weakness of the kingdom when David ascended the throne and its strength and prosperity under his rule. This would tend still further to foster the already too great self-confidence of both king and people. The Scripture says, “Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel.” The prosperity of Israel under David had been due to the blessing of God rather than to the ability of her king or the strength of her armies. But the increasing of the military resources of the kingdom would give the impression to surrounding nations that Israel’s trust was in her armies, and not in the power of Jehovah. {PP 746.3}

Note by Ron: In one of his recent videos, Walter Veith says: We are no better than anyone else and when we imply we are, it is offensive not only to others but to some in the church. Then he says that our only duty is to give the three angel’s messages. But how do we give the second angels message to Babylon or all three for that matter, by telling them they have to come out of Babylon, to join us, WHO ARE NO BETTER? In other words, Veith says flat out that God’s commandment-KEEPTING people, the end-time saints of Revelation 14, are no better than anyone else. The bride, whom God says is WITHOUT FAULT, Rev. 14, is NO BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE in Walter Veith’s estimation, and that is what he is teaching his worshipful patrone. Then he wonders why the youth are leaving the church? Why not! The entertainment is better at some Babylonian church, IF WE ARE NO BETTER.

The truth is that we should be better, but are actually worse, because of all our abominations when we had the privilege of advanced light via the Spirit of Prophecy. End of Note by Ron.

Though the people of Israel were proud of their national greatness, they did not look with favor upon David’s plan for so greatly extending the military service. The proposed enrollment caused much dissatisfaction; consequently it was thought necessary to employ the military officers in place of the priests and magistrates, who had formerly taken the census. The object of the undertaking was directly contrary to the principles of a theocracy. Even Joab remonstrated, unscrupulous as he had heretofore shown himself. He said, “The Lord make His people a hundred times so many more as they be: but, my lord the king, are they not all my lord’s servants? why then doth my lord require this thing? why will he be a cause of trespass to Israel? Nevertheless the king’s word prevailed against Joab. Wherefore Joab departed, and went throughout all Israel, and came to Jerusalem.” The numbering was not finished when David was convicted of his sin. Self-condemned, he “said unto God, I have sinned greatly, because I have done this thing: but now, I beseech Thee, do away the iniquity of Thy servant; for I have done very foolishly.”

The Punishment For David’s Numbering of Israel

The next morning a message was brought to David by the prophet Gad: “Thus saith the Lord, Choose thee either three years’ famine; or three months to be destroyed before thy foes, while that the sword of thine enemies overtaketh thee; or else three days the sword of the Lord, even the pestilence, in the land, and the angel of the Lord destroying throughout all the coasts of Israel. Now therefore,” said the prophet, “advise thyself what word I shall bring again to Him that sent me.” {PP 747.1}

The king’s answer was, “I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of the Lord; for His mercies are great: and let me not fall into the hand of man.” {PP 748.1}

The land was smitten with pestilence, which destroyed seventy thousand in Israel. The scourge had not yet entered the capital, when “David lifted up his eyes, and saw the angel of the Lord stand between the earth and the heaven, having a drawn sword in his hand stretched out over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders of Israel, who were clothed in sackcloth, fell upon their faces.” The king pleaded with God in behalf of Israel: “Is it not I that commanded the people to be numbered? even I it is that have sinned and done evil indeed; but as for these sheep, what have they done? let Thine hand, I pray Thee, O Lord my God, be on me, and on my father’s house; but not on Thy people, that they should be plagued.” {PP 748.2}

The taking of the census had caused disaffection among the people; yet they had themselves cherished the same sins that prompted David’s action. As the Lord through Absalom’s sin visited judgment upon David, so through David’s error he punished the sins of Israel. {PP 748.3}

The destroying angel had stayed his course outside Jerusalem. He stood upon Mount Moriah, “in the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.” Directed by the prophet, David went to the mountain, and there built an altar to the Lord, “and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings, and called upon the Lord; and He answered him from heaven by fire upon the altar of burnt offering.” “So the Lord was entreated for the land, and the plague was stayed from Israel.” {PP 748.4}

The spot upon which the altar was erected, henceforth ever to be regarded as holy ground, was tendered to the king by Ornan as a gift. But the king declined thus to receive it. “I will verily buy it for the full price,” he said; “for I will not take that which is thine for the Lord, nor offer burnt offerings without cost. So David gave to Ornan for the place six hundred shekels of gold by weight.” This spot, memorable as the place where Abraham had built the altar to offer up his son, and now hallowed by this great deliverance, was afterward chosen as the site of the temple erected by Solomon. {PP 748.5}

Still another shadow was to gather over the last years of David. He had reached the age of threescore and ten. The hardships and exposures of his early wanderings, his many wars, the cares and afflictions of his later years, had sapped the fountain of life. Though his mind retained its clearness and strength, feebleness and age, with their desire for seclusion, prevented a quick apprehension of what was passing in the kingdom, and again rebellion sprang up in the very shadow of the throne. Again the fruit of David’s parental indulgence was manifest. The one who now aspired to the throne was Adonijah, “a very goodly man” in person and bearing, but unprincipled and reckless. In his youth he had been subjected to but little restraint; for “his father had not displeased him at any time in saying, Why hast thou done so?” He now rebelled against the authority of God, who had appointed Solomon to the throne. Both by natural endowments and religious character Solomon was better qualified than his elder brother to become ruler of Israel; yet although the choice of God had been clearly indicated, Adonijah did not fail to find sympathizers. Joab, though guilty of many crimes, had heretofore been loyal to the throne; but he now joined the conspiracy against Solomon, as did also Abiathar the priest. {PP 749.1}

The rebellion was ripe; the conspirators had assembled at a great feast just without the city to proclaim Adonijah king, when their plans were thwarted by the prompt action of a few faithful persons, chief among whom were Zadok the priest, Nathan the prophet, and Bathsheba the mother of Solomon. They represented the state of affairs to the king, reminding him of the divine direction that Solomon should succeed to the throne. David at once abdicated in favor of Solomon, who was immediately anointed and proclaimed king. The conspiracy was crushed. Its chief actors had incurred the penalty of death. Abiathar’s life was spared, out of respect to his office and his former fidelity to David; but he was degraded from the office of high priest, which passed to the line of Zadok. Joab and Adonijah were spared for the time, but after the death of David they suffered the penalty of their crime. The execution of the sentence upon the son of David completed the fourfold judgment that testified to God’s abhorrence of the father’s sin. {PP 749.2}

From the very opening of David’s reign one of his most cherished plans had been that of erecting a temple to the Lord. Though he had not been permitted to execute this design, he had manifested no less zeal and earnestness in its behalf. He had provided an abundance of the most costly material—gold, silver, onyx stones, and stones of divers colors; marble, and the most precious woods. And now these valuable treasures that he had collected must be committed to others; for other hands must build the house for the ark, the symbol of God’s presence. {PP 750.1}

Seeing that his end was near, the king summoned the princes of Israel, with representative men from all parts of the kingdom, to receive this legacy in trust. He desired to commit to them his dying charge and secure their concurrence and support in the great work to be accomplished. Because of his physical weakness, it had not been expected that he would attend to this transfer in person; but the inspiration of God came upon him, and with more than his wonted fervor and power, he was able, for the last time, to address his people. He told them of his own desire to build the temple, and of the Lord’s command that the work should be committed to Solomon his son. The divine assurance was, “Solomon thy son, he shall build My house and My courts; for I have chosen him to be My son, and I will be his Father. Moreover I will establish his kingdom forever, if he be constant to do My commandments and My judgments, as at this day.” “Now therefore,” David said, “in the sight of all Israel the congregation of the Lord, and in the audience of our God, keep and seek for all the commandments of the Lord your God: that ye may possess this good land, and leave it for an inheritance for your children after you forever.” {PP 750.2}

David had learned by his own experience how hard is the path of him who departs from God. He had felt the condemnation of the broken law, and had reaped the fruits of transgression; and his whole soul was moved with solicitude that the leaders of Israel should be true to God, and that Solomon should obey God’s law, shunning the sins that had weakened his father’s authority, embittered his life, and dishonored God. David knew that it would require humility of heart, a constant trust in God, and unceasing watchfulness to withstand the temptations that would surely beset Solomon in his exalted station; for such prominent characters are a special mark for the shafts of Satan. Turning to his son, already acknowledged as his successor on the throne, David said: “And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve Him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the Lord searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek Him, He will be found of thee; but if thou forsake Him, He will cast thee off forever. Take heed now; for the Lord hath chosen thee to build a house for the sanctuary: be strong, and do it.” {PP 750.3}

David gave Solomon minute directions for building the temple, with patterns of every part, and of all its instruments of service, as had been revealed to him by divine inspiration. Solomon was still young, and shrank from the weighty responsibilities that would devolve upon him in the erection of the temple and in the government of God’s people. David said to his son, “Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed, for the Lord God, even my God, will be with thee; He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” {PP 751.1}

Again David appealed to the congregation: “Solomon my son, whom alone God hath chosen, is yet young and tender, and the work is great: for the palace is not for man, but for the Lord God.” He said, “I have prepared with all my might for the house of my God,” and he went on to enumerate the materials he had gathered. More than this, he said, “I have set my affection to the house of my God, I have of mine own proper good, of gold and silver, which I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house, even three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the houses withal.” “Who then,” he asked of the assembled multitude that had brought their liberal gifts—“who then is willing to consecrate his service this day unto the Lord?” {PP 751.2}

There was a ready response from the assembly. “The chief of the fathers and princes of the tribes of Israel, and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the rulers of the king’s work, offered willingly, and gave, for the service of the house of God, of gold five thousand talents and ten thousand drams, and of silver ten thousand talents, and of brass eighteen thousand talents, and one hundred thousand talents of iron. And they with whom precious stones were found gave them to the treasure of the house of the Lord.... Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the Lord: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy. {PP 751.3}

“Wherefore David blessed the Lord before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed be Thou, Lord God of Israel our father, forever and ever. Thine, O Lord, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is Thine; Thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and Thou art exalted as head above all. Both riches and honor come of Thee, and Thou reignest over all; and in Thine hand is power and might; and in Thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all. Now therefore, our God, we thank Thee, and praise Thy glorious name. But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of Thee, and of Thine own have we given Thee. For we are strangers before Thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding. O Lord our God, all this store that we have prepared to build Thee an house for Thine holy name cometh of Thine hand, and is all Thine own. I know also, my God, that Thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. {PP 752.1}

“As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy Thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto Thee. O Lord God of Abraham, Isaac and of Israel, our fathers, keep this forever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of Thy people, and prepare their heart unto Thee: and give unto Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep Thy commandments, Thy testimonies, and Thy statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for the which I have made provision. And David said to all the congregation, Now bless the Lord your God. And all the congregation blessed the Lord God of their fathers, and bowed down their heads, and worshiped the Lord.” {PP 752.2}

With deepest interest the king had gathered the rich material for building and beautifying the temple. He had composed the glorious anthems that in afteryears should echo through its courts. Now his heart was made glad in God, as the chief of the fathers and the princes of Israel so nobly responded to his appeal, and offered themselves to the important work before them. And as they gave their service, they were disposed to do more. They swelled the offerings, giving of their own possessions into the treasury. David had felt deeply his own unworthiness in gathering the material for the house of God, and the expression of loyalty in the ready response of the nobles of his kingdom, as with willing hearts they dedicated their treasures to Jehovah and devoted themselves to His service, filled him with joy. But it was God alone who had imparted this disposition to His people. He, not man, must be glorified. It was He who had provided the people with the riches of earth, and His Spirit had made them willing to bring their precious things for the temple. It was all of the Lord; if His love had not moved upon the hearts of the people, the king’s efforts would have been vain, and the temple would never have been erected. {PP 752.3}

All that man receives of God’s bounty still belongs to God. Whatever God has bestowed in the valuable and beautiful things of earth is placed in the hands of men to test them—to sound the depths of their love for Him and their appreciation of His favors. Whether it be the treasures of wealth or of intellect, they are to be laid, a willing offering, at the feet of Jesus; the giver saying, meanwhile, with David, “All things come of Thee, and of Thine own have we given Thee.” {PP 753.1}

When he felt that death was approaching, the burden of David’s heart was still for Solomon and for the kingdom of Israel, whose prosperity must so largely depend upon the fidelity of her king. “And he charged Solomon his son, saying, I go the way of all the earth: be thou strong therefore, and show thyself a man; and keep the charge of the Lord thy God, to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, and His commandments, and His judgments, and His testimonies, ... that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself: that the Lord may continue His word which He spake concerning me, saying, If thy children take heed to their way, to walk before Me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail thee (said He) a man on the throne of Israel.” 1 Kings 2:1-4. {PP 753.2}

David’s “last words,” as recorded, are a song—a song of trust, of loftiest principle, and undying faith: {PP 754.1}

“David the son of Jesse saith,

And the man who was raised on high saith,

The anointed of the God of Jacob,

And the sweet psalmist of Israel:

The Spirit of Jehovah spake by me: ...

One that ruleth over men righteously,

That ruleth in the fear of God,

He shall be as the light of the morning, when the sun riseth,

A morning without clouds;

When the tender grass springeth out of the earth,

Through clear shining after rain.

Verily my house is not so with God;

Yet He hath made me an everlasting covenant,

Ordered in all things, and sure:

For it is all my salvation, and all my desire.” {PP 754.2}

Great had been David’s fall, but deep was his repentance, ardent was his love, and strong his faith. He had been forgiven much, and therefore he loved much. Luke 7:47. {PP 754.3}

The psalms of David pass through the whole range of experience, from the depths of conscious guilt and self-condemnation to the loftiest faith and the most exalted communing with God. His life record declares that sin can bring only shame and woe, but that God’s love and mercy can reach to the deepest depths, that faith will lift up the repenting soul to share the adoption of the sons of God. Of all the assurances which His word contains, it is one of the strongest testimonies to the faithfulness, the justice, and the covenant mercy of God. {PP 754.4}

Man “fleeth also as a shadow, and continueth not,” “but the word of our God shall stand forever.” “The mercy of Jehovah is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear Him, and His righteousness unto children’s children; to such as keep His covenant, and to those that remember His commandments to do them.” Job 14:2; Isaiah 40:8; Psalm 103:17, 18. {PP 754.5}

“Whatsoever God doeth, it shall be forever.” Ecclesiastes 3:14. {PP 754.6}

Glorious are the promises made to David and his house, promises that look forward to the eternal ages, and find their complete fulfillment in Christ. The Lord declared: {PP 754.7}

“I have sworn unto David My servant ... with whom My hand shall be established: Mine arm also shall strengthen him.... My faithfulness and My mercy shall be with him: and in My name shall his horn be exalted. I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers. He shall cry unto Me, Thou art my Father, my God, and the Rock of my salvation. Also I will make him My first-born, higher than the kings of the earth. My mercy will I keep for him forevermore, and My covenant shall stand fast with him.” Psalm 89:3-28. {PP 755.1}

The dangers of man in depending upon the strength of numbers is the lesson God would have us learn from the experience of David. Adventists should have learned this lesson from Dudley M. Canright, for he was a good speaker, and he felt that he could be a great man if it wasn’t for the unpopularity of the Adventist message. Ellen White told him that the day he left the message, he would begin a trek downward, and that is exactly what happened.

Later, after Satan had him in his clutches via the crowds he attracted, he joined the Free Masons, and they saw to it that he got even greater crowds of hearers. He kept ascending the ladder of FreeMasonry, until he reached 33^rd degree, even after he learned at the 30^th degree that Mason’s worship Lucifer. But I was shown that Billy Graham, like Dudley M. Canright, felt it was too late to change to tell the millions he had preached error to, that indeed he was wrong in telling them to go to any church of their choice; that he was wrong about Babylon and Sunday worship.

I was show that Walter Veith will come to think it is too late to tell his worshipful patrons the truth about the new movement he defends, IF HE EVER DOES? The more worshipful patrons he wins, the harder it will be for him to tell them the truth that he was wrong about a new movement that has removed God. The dangers involved with Walter Veith are in proportion to the serious errors he intermixes with the many truths he teaches.This I was clearly shown. Folk believe his spiritual errors because of the great knowledge he possesses on many different subjects.

The Implications

What Billy Graham achieved in all too many cases was to groom Christians for the Ezekiel 9 slaughter as it applies to Babylon, GC 653-656. He thus served Satan’s cause to get Christians killed. At the end of every meeting, He told folk to go to the church OF THEIR CHOICE next Sunday.

Mat 23:15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

What Billy Graham achieved was to the cause of Babylon, what Walter Veith is to the cause of apostate, spiritual Jerusalem--Adventism. He instructs his hearers to SUPER GLUE themselves to a pew at the new movement formed “AMONG’ Seventh-day Adventists in 1955, which new movement says God, and Ellen White, will be destroyed in another literal fulfillment of Ezekiel 9. 5T 209-211. Walter Veith does not realize that it is the MESSAGE of true pioneer Adventism that succeeds, not the apostate new movement once church militant.

John Lennon: “Christianity will go,” he had said. “It will vanish and shrink. I needn’t argue about that; I know I’m right and I will be proved right. We’re more popular than Jesus now. I don’t know which will go first – rock & roll or Christianity. Jesus was all right, but his disciples were thick and ordinary. It’s them twisting it that ruins it for me.”

John Lennon felt he was right because of his popularity due to the millions who flocked after his music. Likewise Billy Graham felt he was right because of the great numbers that followed him. Walter Veith is on the same pathway, the broad way that leads down. If Walter Veith lives until the slaughter time, all the members he has misled will turn upon him for leading them astray, and it will be a most horrible scene for him and all the leaders of the new movement, who use their numbers to prove they are right, in lieu of abiding by the true foundation MESSAGE of Ellen White.

When John Lennon’s ‘More Popular Than Jesus’ Controversy Turned Ugly

A vivid example of the intoxication potential of taking pride in numbers, is the case of John Lennon of the Beatles.

Satan is the inspiration for his subjects just as the Holy Spirit of Christ moves upon His subjects. Satan leads his foolish virgins to be impressed with numbers, buildings and material things. John Lennon was a classic example of this. He felt emboldened to speak blasphemously against Jesus, because he (Lennon) was so popular in numbers.

The Bible refers to the bride as appearing to be FORSAKEN, when it describes a future time when she is no longer regarded as forsaken. This is how the foolish virgins view those who are few in number and without the material successes of Satan’s agents who tell the people what they want to hear, and make them feel secure in an apostate church that committed unpardonable sin and thereby removed God, and since that time has been led by the only other master, Satan and his MEN subjects.

Third Angel's Message--How it has lost its force: "But last January the Lord showed me that erroneous theories and methods would be brought into our camp meetings, and that the history of the past would be repeated. I felt greatly distressed. I was instructed to say that at these demonstrations demons in the form of men are present, working with all the ingenuity that Satan can employ to make the truth disgusting to sensible people that the enemy was trying to arrange matters so that the camp meetings, which have been the means of bringing the truth of the third angel's message before multitudes, should lose their force and influence. {2SM 37.3}

The third angel's message is to be given in straight lines. It is to be kept free from every thread of the cheap, miserable inventions of men's theories, prepared by the father of lies, and disguised as was the brilliant serpent used by Satan as a medium of deceiving our first parents. Thus Satan tries to put his stamp upon the work God would have stand forth in purity. {2SM 37.4}

Walter Veith

Walter Veith’s latest video production is entitled Counting and Keeping Your Numbers. On this video, Walter brings up the YouTube calculations of the numbers of people who view his videos. This might be cause for rejoicing if Walter Veith was teaching all the truth about the new movement he perennially defends. How can any faithful Seventh-day Adventist defend and recommend a new movement that has committed all the abominations for which we are to sigh and cry AS A CONDITION FOR SEALING, Ezekiel 9:6.

Walter Veith seems to like TYPOLOGIES, so why does he not teach the typology associated with Ezekiel 9, and the slaughter of his ancestors, the Jews? Especially when he claims he would not go into spiritual warfare without the Spirit of Prophecy, when God and Ellen White say that Ezekiel 9 will be literally fulfilled upon once spiritual Jerusalem in a number of references. Here are some of them:

Eze 9:5 And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:

Eze 9:6 Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.

"Study the 9th chapter of Ezekiel. These words will be literally fulfilled yet the time is passing, and the people are asleep. They refuse to humble their souls and to be converted. Not a great while longer will the Lord bear with the people who have such great and important truths revealed to them, but who refuse to bring these truths into their individual experience. The time is short. God is calling will YOU hear? Will YOU receive His message? Will YOU be converted before it is too late? Soon, very soon, every case will be decided for eternity. Letter 106, 1909, pp. 2, 3, 5, 7. (To "The churches in Oakland and Berkeley, September 26, 1909.)" E. G. White Manuscript Releases Volume One, p. 260.

Begin at My Sanctuary -- "Here we see that the church--the Lord's sanctuary--was the first to feel the stroke of the wrath of God. The ancient men, those to whom God had given great light and who had stood as guardians of the spiritual interests of the people, had betrayed their trust. They had taken the position that we need not look for miracles and the marked manifestation of God's power as in former days. Times have changed. These words strengthen their unbelief, and they say: The Lord will not do good, neither will He do evil. He is too merciful to visit His people in judgment. Thus 'Peace and safety" is the cry from men who will never again lift up their voice like a trumpet to show God's people their transgressions and the house of Jacob their sins. Note: Ezekiel 9 slaughter occurs before the close of probation, and Ellen White says there will be no faithful martyrs after the close of probation. Faithful martyrs will occur OUTSIDE OF THE APOSTATE CHURCH at the same time unfaithful Adventists are killed under Ezekiel 9.

“The people of God will not be free from suffering; but while persecuted and distressed, while they endure privation and suffer for want of food they will not be left to perish. . . .
Yet to human sight it will appear that the people of God must soon seal their testimony with their blood as did the martyrs before them. They themselves begin to fear that the Lord has left them to fall by the hand of their enemies. It is a time of fearful agony. Day and night they cry unto God for deliverance. . . .
The eye of God, looking down the ages, was fixed upon the crisis which His people are to meet, when earthly powers shall be arrayed against them. Like the captive exile, they will be in fear of death by starvation or by violence. But the Holy One who divided the Red Sea before Israel, will manifest His mighty power and turn their captivity. For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity." Isaiah 26:20, 21. "It was presented before me in the following manner: A large company of heathen idolaters bore a black banner, upon which were figures of the sun, moon, and stars. This company seemed to be very fierce and angry. I was then shown another company bearing a pure white banner, upon which was written, "Purity and holiness unto the Lord." Their countenances were marked with firmness and heavenly resignation. I saw the heathen idolaters approach them, and there was a great slaughter. The Christins melted away before them; and yet the Christian company pressed the more closely together, and held the banner more firmly. They rejected the Light of the world, and thenceforth their lives were surrounded with darkness as the darkness of midnight. The doom foretold came upon the Jewish nation. Their own fierce passions, uncontrolled, wrought their ruin. In their blind rage they destroyed one another. Their rebellious, stubborn pride brought upon them the wrath of their Roman conquerors. Jerusalem was destroyed, the temple laid in ruins, and its site plowed like a field. The children of Judah perished by the most horrible forms of death. Millions were sold, to serve as bondmen in heathen lands.” {COL 295.3}

“The desolation of Jerusalem in the days of Jeremiah is a solemn warning to modern Israel, that the counsels and admonitions given them through chosen instrumentalities cannot be disregarded with impunity.” Prophets and Kings, 416.

“1-13 (2 Samuel 24:1-14). David Trusted Himself to God’s Mercies—The work of numbering Israel is not fully completed before David feels convicted that he has committed a great sin against God. He sees his error, and humbles himself before God, confessing his great sin in foolishly numbering the people. But his repentance came too late. The word had already gone forth from the Lord to His faithful prophet, to carry a message to David, and offer him his choice of punishments for his transgression. David still shows that he has confidence in God. “Aaron failing to stand up boldly for the right, his yielding to the strength of numbers, placed him with the majority. Aaron represents the cases of a large number composing our churches at the present day. They pass over sins existing in the church which grieve the spirit of God. They are lax where order and principle are involved, because it is not pleasant to reprove and correct wrongs. They are themselves carried along with the current, and become RESPONSIBLE for a fearful neglect of faithfulness. (ST 05-27-80 pr:04)

Ask yourself how many proselytes Walter Veith in crossing land and sea to make while he is making them twice the children of hell by bringing them into a new movement that has removed God, and according to its prophetess will be “brought down to hell.”

Mat 23:15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

I was shown that the NOBLE SHIP that goes into port heaven is THE MESSAGE, not an apostate new movement that has removed God, and will thus experience Ezekiel 9 slaughter of men, maidens and little children.

Walter Veith instructs his hearers to SUPER GLUE themselves to a pew at a new movement formed “AMONG” Seventh-day Adventists beginning in 1955. He may be attempting to conflate his initial referring to the true reformers as bleating sheep.

I was counselled by my angel to keep reminding God’s people of the TWO NOBLE SHIPS, one of which sinks to rise no more:

#1: "I lately read of a NOBLE SHIP that was plowing its way across the sea, when at midnight, with a terrific crash, it struck upon a rock; the passengers were awakened only to see with horror their hopeless condition, and with the ship they sank to rise no more. The MAN AT THE HELM [VERSUS CHRIST] had mistaken the beacon light, and hundreds of souls were at a moment's warning launched into eternity." E.G. White, Selected Messages, vol. 2, 128.

Noble Ship #2: "There is no need to doubt, to be fearful that the work will not succeed. God is at the head of the work, and He will set everything in order. Noble Ship If matters need adjusting at the head of the work, God will attend to that, and work to right every wrong. Let us have faith that God is going to carry the noble ship which bears the people of God safely into port." E.G. White, Selected Messages, vol. 2, 390.

I was instructed to show God’s people exactly how God adjusts matters at the head of the work, when a church, no matter how high and sacred its calling was, betrays sacred trusts to commit unpardonable sin apostasy:

"The Lord Jesus will always have a chosen people to serve Him. When the Jewish people rejected Christ, the Prince of life. He took from them the kingdom of God and gave it unto the Gentiles. God will continue to work on this principle with every branch of His work. When a church proves unfaithful to the work of the Lord, whatever their position may be, however high and sacred their calling, the Lord can no longer work with them. Others are then chosen to bear important responsibilities. But, if these in turn do not purify their lives from every wrong action, if they do not establish pure and holy principles in all their borders, then the Lord will grievously afflict and humble them and, unless they repent, will remove them from their place and make them a reproach.

Apostate leaders always try to convince their members that God is entirely dependent upon their church and that He NEEDS them to give the final message to the world. That is not true, as UL, 131 proves.

“In our work for God there is danger of relying too largely upon what man with his talents and ability can do. Thus we lose sight of the one Master Worker. Too often the worker for Christ fails to realize his personal responsibility. He is in danger of shifting his burden upon organizations, instead of relying upon Him who is the source of all strength. It is a great mistake to trust in human wisdom or numbers in the work of God. Successful work for Christ depends not so much on numbers or talent as upon pureness of purpose, the true simplicity of earnest, dependent faith. Personal responsibilities must be borne, personal duties must be taken up, personal efforts must be made for those who do not know Christ. In the place of shifting your responsibility upon someone whom you think more richly endowed than you are, work according to your ability.” {DA 370.3}

Because of pressure from the true Independent Ministries, Walter Veith mentions a few of the more innocuous errors of the church like Spiritual Formation and the Celebration church movement. They refuse to examine the testimony of the Scriptures concerning the special truths for this time. They point to their own numbers, wealth, and popularity, and look with contempt upon the advocates of truth as few, poor, and unpopular, having a faith that separates them from the world.

Christ foresaw that the undue assumption of authority indulged by the scribes and Pharisees would not cease with the dispersion of the Jews. He had a prophetic view of the work of exalting human authority to rule the conscience, which has been so terrible a curse to the church in all ages. And His fearful denunciations of the scribes and Pharisees, and His warnings to the people not to follow these blind leaders, were placed on record as an admonition to future generations." · The special truths for this time involve the doctrines that were removed by the new movement when it removed God. In fact. That is how God was removed, by the leaders of His people removing pillar, Landmark doctrines on the Godhead and the human nature of Christ, the Sanctuary and the Atonement.

FIRST ANGELS' MESSAGE OF 1844 AND THE ATONEMENT

The conference is not giving the first angel's message to the world. They are not broadcasting our unique view of the investigative judgment which started in 1844. In failing to give this sanctuary message to the world, they are making light of removing sin from our lives, of preparing for the latter rain. The conference does not promote a message which says you must remove sin from your life, instead they say you can be saved in your sins. The law of God in the sanctuary, in the Ark of the Covenant, is treated too lightly. This mindset is part of the new theology doctrine which says the atonement was finished at the cross and there is no literal sanctuary in heaven where Christ is ministering. The conference is not willing to defend this doctrine as it will cause them to appear to be different or odd when compared to the world.

"Adventists do not hold any theory of a duel atonement.... When, therefore, one hears an Adventist say, or reads in Adventist literature--even in the writings of Ellen G. White--that Christ is making atonement now, it should be understood that we mean simply that Christ is now making application of the benefits of the sacrificial atonement He made on the cross." "There is no veil at all in heaven--and all of heaven is a Most Holy Place!" Garry Williams, in a sermon at a major Seventh-day Adventist church, Landmarks, April 2000.

"In the future, [today] deception of every kind is to arise, and we want solid ground for our feet. We want solid pillars for the building. Not one pin is to be removed from that which the Lord has established. The enemy will bring in false theories, such as the doctrine that there is no sanctuary. SECOND & THIRD ANGELS' MESSAGES

The conference is not broadcasting the identity of Babylon or the beast to the world. It does not want to "offend" the churches of the world, so the second and third angels' messages are not loudly proclaimed to the world. It is not heard on It is Written, Adventist World Radio, or included in mass mailings to the world.

If a partial second and third angels' message is given regarding Babylon and the papacy, it is done so by a local church, after several weeks in a satellite Revelation seminar, with only a few non-Adventists in attendance at that point. Most local churches are not actively proclaiming the three angels' messages through the media they have available such as radio, television or newspaper. These media tools could be utilized to spread the truth, but they are not.

The world is not warned to avoid worshipping the beast, and the pope is not identified for what he is. Kenneth Cox, possibly tutored by Florida Conference leaders, appeared live on Orlando television to denounce a billboard campaign by "independent" ministries which identified the pope as the beast. He answered questions from viewers concerning Adventist beliefs. One question asked was, "Is the pope the Antichrist?" His answer was "no." He said we should all just love Jesus. This same attitude is throughout the conference today where the laity is told that it is hateful to identify Satan's false system or the man of sin. Friends, if we truly love Jesus, and truly love those in Babylon, we will give His truth to the world and tell them who the Antichrist is. Instead, the conference wishes to please men, not God.

The Vice President (at the time) of the General Conference, Neal C. Wilson, verbalized the conference position regarding the papacy, "Although it is true that there was a period in the life of the Seventh-day Adventist Church when the denomination took a distinctly anti-Roman Catholic viewpoint...that attitude on the church's part was nothing more than a manifestation of widespread anti-popery among conservative Protestant denominations in the early part of this century, and the latter part of the last, which has now been consigned to the historical trash heap as far as the Seventh-day Adventist Church is concerned." Merikay McLeod lawsuit, Docket entry #84: EEOC vs PPPA, c-74-2025-CBR. Feb. 6, 1976

Notice these statements in the conference publication Review, May 2, 1991, Roy Adams said, "The Eucharist, turning the communion bread into the literal body of Christ, fits into the circle of the three angels' messages." Also in the Review, September 19, 1993, Miriam Widmer said, "We praised the pope for sounding like an Adventist or protestant preacher, and suggested God was using this pope to bring the gospel to the Catholics."

At the 1990, General Conference Session in Indianapolis, a Catholic priest spoke and prayed from the pulpit. The conference communications director told a local newspaper that we no longer believe what we did a hundred years ago concerning comments in the Great Controversy about the papacy. A condensation of "The Great Controversy" was handed out in Indianapolis by an independent group. "Shirley Burton, a spokesperson for the denomination, told the Indianapolis Star Daily newspaper the tract was 'trash.'... The main body of the Church has moved away from an anti-Catholic position. The new position of cooperation with the Catholic Church was exemplified by the invitation from the Seventh-day Adventists to the Vatican to send an official observer to the conference." Arkansas Catholic 7-29-90. The following are further comments found in The Indianapolis Star, July 14, 1990, "Though Adventist officials conceded the history of the denomination has an anti-Catholic bent, they said the modern church is trying to move from that stance. 'They (the dissidents) want us to be like we were 100 years ago.' said Herbert Ford, news director for the 6.2 million-member church. 'But, the church has to move not away from the eternal principles of God, but things do have to change. 'These people are a thorn in the flesh, but the church tolerates them. United States in Prophecy [Great Controversy] which was sponsored by Adventist Layworkers Affiliate of Tennessee, calls Catholicism a pagan religion and refers to the pope as a beast. Adventists who want to cling to the church's historic anti-Catholic beliefs represent only about 1,000 in the North American division of 750,000 members, Ford said."

At the 1995, General Conference Session in the Netherlands, the Vatican flag was carried through the meeting hall in a singular fashion amidst an unusually loud ovation when it appeared. At the Session, the conference released a statement saying they endorsed the "United Nations Declaration on Religious Intolerance," "...the Church supports the United Nations proclamation of 1995, as the Year of Tolerance and says Christians need to develop sympathy for beliefs or practices that not only differ, but even conflict with their own." Does this mean that we should join the ecumenical movement and avoid identifying false systems of worship?

How can the conference give the third angel's message when it is in partnership with the beast? The Adventist and Catholic hospitals in Colorado have joined together and have become one entity. These Adventist hospitals will be controlled by the Catholics, as the Catholics contributed the largest percentage of assets. We received nothing in return for turning our hospitals over to them. This is also happening at Madison Hospital, or Tennessee Christian Medical Center. "Two Colorado health care providers, one Catholic and one Adventist, have joined forces to become one of the state's largest health care systems and employers." Our Sunday Visitor, January 7, 1996

Dick Duerksen, director of creative ministries in the Columbia Union, was mocking those who were saying, "The pope's stand on abortion, his book lifting up the gift of God's grace, his words praising family values and all his travels are but a smokescreen behind which he is building a world-wide power base. He will be taking control of the world any day." Columbia Union Visitor

In the announcement of a new "Signs of the Times," the new editor, Marvin Moore, appeared to be saying that the beast will not be identified: "These articles will avoid attacking people and churches that disagree with us, including the Catholics. We win by drawing, not by pushing people away.... Signs keeps the three angel's messages front and center, but speaks the language of the 1990's, not the 1890's." So we have Mr. Moore, like the conference, refusing to participate in the three angels' message as they consider it to be "attacking."

In the conference book by Mr. Moore, The Antichrist and the New World Order, the "official book for sharing" with the world, he says Satan is the man of sin instead of the pope: "...Satan will be the Antichrist in the one-world government that is coming upon the world in the near future" p19. Mr. Moore then quotes 2 Thessalonians 2:3,4, which Mrs. White says refers to the pope, but he indicates it is Satan. Other quotes also try to change the papacy into something different from what it really is: "It's important to understand that today's Roman Catholic Church regrets the excesses of the Inquisition" p41 ["Excesses" is an interesting term for killing 50,000,000 people and attempting to destroy the word of God.] "...I also recognize that the Catholic Church has changed in many ways from what it was during the medieval period of history." p45. Mrs. White said in The Great Controversy that it has not changed, but is still attempting to take over our country and our freedom to worship.

Friends, we must identify the pope as the beast, the man of sin, and warn people to come out of this false system of worship before it is too late!

Mitchell Tyner, the associate general counsel for the General Conference wrote an article in the Columbia Union Visitor stating, "...the Pope and I descended from the same Father, that makes us brothers who should not go around making personal attacks on each other.... differences, no matter how legitimate, would not justify the alienation of a member of the family....After all, the Pope and I are brothers." In 1997, Bert B. Beach was sent apparently as a representative of the conference to meet with ten other churches at a World Council of Churches assembly, where they worked out an agreement for all churches around the world to celebrate Easter on specific Sundays. Why doesn’t It Is Written proclaim the Sabbath and the three angels' messages over television? Why aren’t the papacy and Babylon exposed for what they are? Why aren’t local churches loudly proclaiming the truth to the world on a regular basis? It is because the conference has chosen to become a new organization from what it was originally established?

An example of the change in character of the conference was on the occasion when the pope visited St. Louis in 1999. A Seventh-day Adventist pastor was shown on television greeting the pope, calling him "your holiness."

How do we call people out of Babylon while calling the Catholic Pope “your holiness?

The following incident took place in 1999, but that makes it all the worse because of the fact that it has never been repented of by the “church,” and similar things have been prevalent ever since:

When the pope visited St. Louis in January of 1999, he held a Vespers Service where there was an ecumenical gathering. Representatives of many faiths came together to meet the Pope and welcome him to America. The Dayton Daily News of January 28, 1999, recorded this event. "The pope continued the theme of unity at his final ceremony Wednesday evening at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis, where representatives of many faiths - Judaism, Hinduism, Seventh-day Adventists - joined him in prayer." This description only touches the tip of the iceberg, friend. The conference had a representative there, pastor B.T. Rice of the Northside Seventh-day Adventist church, who spoke and made a presentation to the Pope! Before he and other religious leaders spoke, a Catholic representative made the statement, "For many people outside the Catholic community with willingness and graciousness, our brothers and sisters of the ecumenical and inter-religious community, have accepted the invitation to come together this evening with your holiness."

A little later, pastor Rice spoke, "Pope, your Holiness [!]. Your historic visit to St. Louis Missouri has served as a catalyst in the creation of this program [ecumenical program?] and it transforms your presence into a lasting legacy for our region. Today, we present to you, this proclamation, announcing the creation of Faith Beyond Walls, your commitment to improving inter-faith relations has fostered an environment wherein the spirit of collective faith positively action can thrive. In addition, we also present you with this banner, the emblem of Faith Beyond Walls. We hope and pray it will inspire inter-faith communities around the world. To focus their efforts on improving health and the quality of life for all humanity. Again, we welcome you to our region." He then approached the pope and shook his hand. This was covered on television with 2,800 members of the press covering the event and can be seen in the video Victory in St. Louis produced by the ministry Modern Manna. Modern Manna had 40 volunteers in St. Louis at that time to hand out 100,000 Is Mary Dead or Alive books. "And soon, after the Holy Spirit had been poured out and their mission completed, an apology would be offered by the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists to the Pope of Rome, '...begging pardon for their [Modern Manna's] bigotry.'" Conference "representative" meets the pope after speaking and making his presentation.

One cannot say this act of greeting the pope was the work of one man, as there was no disclaimer or clarification in the Review to disassociate the conference from the actions of this pastor. It appears the conference was reaching out to the papacy. The world viewed this incident as the Seventh-day Adventist Church joining the papacy as brothers.

This type of union was prophesied in Revelation 17:13, "These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the Beast."

Notice how those who are loyal to God will promote the pure truth and will not be ashamed of it: "This is the message given by God to be sounded forth in the loud cry of the third angel. Those whose faith and zeal are proportionate to their knowledge of the truth will reveal their loyalty to God by communicating the truth, in all its saving, sanctifying power, to those with whom they associate." 8T 118

Those who refuse to give the third angel's message to the world are as guilty as those who commit open sin: "And through lack of zeal for the promulgation of the third angel's message, many others, while not apparently living in transgression, are nevertheless as verily lending their influence on the side of Satan as are those who openly sin against God. Multitudes are perishing; but how few are burdened for these souls! There is a stupor, a paralysis, upon many of the people of God, which prevents them from understanding the duty of the hour." 8T 119

For years there has been a growing interest in statistical growth, or “numbers,” within the organization. There was the “1000 days of Reaping” program followed by “Harvest 90.” These programs encouraged the baptizing of large numbers of people throughout the world. Literally millions joined the church, often without adequate preparation.

In Inter and South America and the third world countries, dramatic growth was witnessed. In contrast to the explosive Adventist growth in these countries, the church in North America has grown at a snail's pace. Once the mainstay of the Adventist denomination, North America is becoming more and more insignificant compared to the other divisions. It no longer dominates the world field during the General Conference session.

In Kansas, there were 100 churches around the turn of the century. Today Kansas has nearly a million more inhabitants, but the Adventist church has grown downward from 100 churches to 56! In church after church of thriving communities, I have asked how their church today compares to what it was thirty years ago — in nearly every instance there are fewer in attendance today. Somehow the power of the gospel has, for the most part, left the Adventist movement in the Western Countries. Though there are local exceptions, church schools, academies, pathfinders, evangelism, prayer meetings and ingathering are all floundering compared to the advances made in prior years. Seemingly every program that has promised revival has failed.

In short, the condition of the church in North America, as well as in Europe and Australia, has become an embarrassment.

For years, in an attempt to turn things around, we have been inviting speakers from evangelical, non- Adventist churches and seminaries to speak to our ministers and share with them how we can grow like other churches. We have copied their programs, such as their New Testament Witnessing concepts, thinking that what works for them will work for us too, but it hasn’t. The “Caring Church” concept was one such program that was primarily a disappointment. The “Lab 1” and “Lab 2” programs for conflict management have not produced the results hoped for either. Nor has Management By Objectives brought about the miracles hoped for in administration. As was predicted in Isaiah 22, we have looked in every direction for every solution to our problems, but we have not looked to the Maker of the church — to the One who fashioned it long ago (Isaiah 22: 11). Isaiah says, in verse 13, that the next solution sought would be one of celebration!

With each failure, the desire for a program that works has grown more intense. We have developed a great desire for the Holy Spirit to come and give us “numbers” in the developed countries as we have heard about in the other countries. And since we have already reached outside of our church for the expertise of the Sunday- keeping churches, we have now looked to those Sunday- keeping churches that supposedly have the manifestations of the Holy Spirit — that is, the Pentecostal churches — to make up for what we have not found in the evangelical churches.

Several of our ministers have gone to the Pentecostal churches to learn the secret of their power. In years past there was no confusion as to the source of their power — we always believed that it was a counterfeit manifestation of the Holy Spirit. We tested all manifestations of the Holy Spirit with such verses as Isaiah 8: 20. We believed that the Pentecostal power was spiritualistic, and that it would help to unite apostate Protestantism and Catholicism together, and that under this three- fold power America would “follow in the steps of Rome in trampling on the rights of conscience.” — Great Controversy, page 588.

Generally, in our past history, we would not consider renting a Pentecostal church for our own services, or renting out our facilities for a pentecostal service. We loved the Pentecostal people dearly, but believed that the movement was a form of spiritualism. We could not worship in the same room where spiritualism reigned.”

The Example of Jesus Versus Numbers

In the first taking of the gospel to the world, Jesus did not rely on LARGE NUMBERS, with emphasis on LARGE numbers. Jesus said that the broad way (numbers) leads to destruction; that truth is not popular. The final work will be carried as fire in the stubble by the Holy Spirit of Christ, NOT NUMBERS. We are to constantly rely on Christ, not man power.

How CAN we rightfully point to numbers as a sign of truth or success, when Rome has the superlative in that realm! Yet, many Adventists are, like the Jews, pointing to buildings, facilities, institutions and numbers as a sign of God’s blessing and truth. How can that be so when the new movement has removed God? 1SM 204-205. In that case, who get’s the praise? Satan, for he is the only other master.

Like the Jews, many members of the new movement are into material success worship, and they think their new movement is too big to fall, just as the Jews thought the Temple would never be crumbled to the ground.

The most recent TYPOLOGY in the Bible is what took place after the first coming of Christ to this earth in the likeness of sinful flesh. Jesus’ first act of ministry, was to “gather out” those who would take the gospel to all the then known world (DA 232), and He did not rely on NUMBERS OR INTELLECT. He called the 12 disciples who were not educated except for Dr. Luke. The apostle Paul was educated as well. But mainly 11 fishermen were called. Then there was the 70 and the 120. These two groups involved numbers, but the accent was NOT ON LARGE NUMBERS.

All tolled, this was a relatively small number to go to the then known world. And how were they received EVEN BY THEIR OWN? Matthew 22:1-10 gives the story. They were persecuted and killed. The true prophets to Israel were treated spitefully and killed. So the Master permitted the armies of Rome to destroy those murderers and burn up their Temple and city, Jerusalem. This was a TYPE, that Ellen White reapplies to our time in Sermons’ and Talks, Vol. 1.pp 4-10.

Since Walter Veith seems to have a proclivity for TYPOLOIES, it might behoove him to educate his patrons concerning Ellen White’s reapplication of Matthew 22 and Ezekiel 9, which she also termed a PREFIGURE (TYPE) on p. 25 of Great Controversy.

Mat 22:7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.

Power came upon them to perform miracles and cast out demons (Luke 10:17).

After appointing the 70 (or 72) disciples, Jesus spoke of the great need for evangelism (Luke 10:1–2). He then commissioned the 70, giving them these instructions:

1) Go (Luke 10:3). This is foundational. The 70 were to divide into pairs and visit all the places where Jesus was about to go.

2) Be wary (Luke 10:3).The 70 were like lambs among wolves, surrounded by danger.

3) Live by faith (Luke 10:4). The 70 were to carry no extra provisions. They carried the message of Jesus and didn’t need to be burdened down with material things.

4) Be focused (Luke 10:4). The 70 were to greet no one along the road and not allow themselves to be sidetracked from the more important mission of evangelism.

5) Extend your blessing (Luke 10:5–6). Whoever housed the 70 were to be blessed, using the common greeting of the day, “Peace to this house.”

6) Be content (Luke 10:7). The 70 were told not to seek better accommodations; they were to stay in the home that first received them.

7) Receive your due (Luke 10:7). The laborer is worthy of his wages (cf. 1 Timothy 5:17–18). Doing evangelistic work is indeed work and is worthy of compensation.

8) Be flexible (Luke 10:7–8). The 70 were to eat whatever their hosts served; as God’s servants, they were not to be finicky.

9) Heal the sick (Luke 10:9). Jesus gave the 70 disciples specific authority to heal diseases and illness. It was as if the Great Physician had 70 interns making house calls. When the 70 returned to Jesus, they jubilantly recounted how they were able not only to heal diseases but to cast out demons as well (verse 17).

10) Proclaim the kingdom (Luke 10:9). The message of the 70 disciples was simple: “The kingdom of God has come near to you.” This was a clear-cut call to faith in the King who would soon visit each village.

Jesus then told the 70 (or 72) disciples that they might expect rejection in some villages (Luke 10:10), and He told them how to respond: publicly wipe the dust of that town from their feet (Luke 10:11; cf. 9:5), proclaim the kingdom one more time, and warn them of coming judgment (Luke 10:12).

A similar commissioning had occurred with Jesus’ twelve apostles as the Lord sent them out to cure diseases and cast out demons (Matthew 10:1–42; Luke 9:1–6). The main difference is that Jesus had told the Twelve that they were to preach in Galilee, avoiding Gentile areas and Samaria, but the 70 (or 72) were given no such restriction.

The identities of the 70 disciples are never given in Scripture, and the group is never mentioned again, even during the time of the early church in Acts. It seems their ministry was specific to preparing Jesus’ path to Jerusalem. Various individuals have been suggested as possibly being part of the 70—the unnamed exorcist in Luke 9:49, for example. Two of them may have been Barsabbas (known as Justus) and Matthias (Acts 1:23), since they were chosen by the apostles as possible replacements for Judas (Acts 1:15–18). One of the requirements for apostleship was that the candidate had to “have been with us the whole time the Lord Jesus was living among us, beginning from John’s baptism to the time when Jesus was taken up from us. For one of these must become a witness with us of his resurrection” (Acts 1:21–22). We can also speculate that the 70 were part of the 120 gathered in the upper room on Pentecost when the Holy Spirit was first poured out (Acts 1:15).

Since God did not consider it important for us to know the names of the 70 (or 72) disciples He charged with the important task of preparing the way for Jesus, we don’t need to consider it important, either. What Jesus called attention to was not the power He gave them but the fact that their names were written in heaven (Luke 10:20). Similarly, while we may get excited about visible miracles and demonstrations of supernatural power, the greatest miracle of all is the fact that unworthy sinners can become righteous children of God (Romans 5:8; 2 Corinthians 5:21; John 1:12). When our focus moves to ourselves and how God is using us, we are headed the wrong direction. It is a good reminder that, since their names are unimportant, ours are, too. It is the name of Jesus Christ alone who deserves all attention and glory (1 Corinthians 1:28–29; Philippians 2:9–11). It is enough that our names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Important Conclusions

· The Alpha heresy involved the personality of God and Christ. The omega includes the same, but much more heresy that involves the world “church,” that is an apostate new movement that has removed God. This is what Walter Veith is using his knowledge to bring people into to. Of course, he must mix his serious errors with much truth. That is Satan’s means of hypnotizing and misleading people, and Ellen White said that the ministers would use hypnosis to lead from the true message.

· There is a great difference between the message that does not step off the foundation, and the new movement that was formed “among” Seventh-day Adventists. It is the TRUE MESSAGE that is the ship that goes through to the Kingdom, and the new movement DOES NOT teach that message.

· You can KNOW FOR SURE that the new movement is wrong, because God’s Word in Ezekiel 9, instructs us to sigh and cry for all its abominations as a CONDITION for being sealed by the Man in Linen.

· Because of Walter Veiths great knowledge, it is easy for him to lead folk into a new movement that stepped off the foundation of pure truth to become apostate.

· The more numbers Veith gets, the harder it will be for him to tell them the truth; that he has misled them into an apostate new movement that has removed God. 1 SM 204-205.

· Walter Veith does attribute his success in number to God, but that cannot be when the apostate new movement has removed God.

· If Walter Veith would instruct his patrons to SUPER GLUE themselves to the foundation message that Ellen White spoke of, there would be no cause against him.

· Walter Veith supports the Trinity Doctrine which sweeps away the entire Christian economy. Like the ministering brethren in the alpha heresy, he does not understand the truth on the Godhead.

· Unfortunately, as Ellen White satated, Satan has accompanied every Reform movement, and the current True Reformer movement is not devoid of some who teach NONSENSE on the Godhead, because Satan has muddied their understanding as well. But that does not negate the living fact that there is clear truth on the Godhead, and the heresy of The Trinity Doctrine.

· Just a reminder that every MEMBERS of the new movement is corporately responsible for the antichrist doctrine taught in Leroy Froom’s Movement of Destiny, that Christ took the nature of Adam BEFORE the fall. This means that Christ did not come in the likeness of sinful flesh, because Adam did not possess sinful flesh, while the Bible says Jesus came in the likeness of sinful flesh, and that antichrist’s will say that He did not come in the flesh, and that means the likeness of sinful flesh, so as to be an example for us.

· Movement of Destiny is still sold by ABC’s. This book, along with Questions on Doctrines, was among the first books of a new order by the new movement.

· All of the above applies to any minister who has MEMBERSHIP in the new movement that has removed God, and does not gather out from that new movement which has no virtue to save because it indeed has REMOVED GOD.
