My Vision on the State of the Church and the World

As to Time, Place and Circumstance

Part 2

This manuscript is the Part 2 of my vision of February 16, 2017, https://omega77.tripod.com/myvisionontimeplace.htm

on the State of the World in biblical history as to time, place and circumstance. It is stupefying to me how even men like Ty Gibson and James Rafferty, who were once true reformers, now teach only the ancient historical view on Daniel 8, like the apostate church they chose to reunite with. I say stupefying for the reason that the two-horned sheep symbol of Daniel 8, which represents Media and Persia, is currently in the process of experiencing such a blatant secondary, end-time fulfillment. I was shown that a prime reason why the youth are exiting the back door of the church about as fast as they enter the front, is the fact that the truth is not as real to them as it could be if they realized just how important prophesy is fulfilling right before their eyes. It is fulfilled and fulfilling prophecy that has made believers out of many intelligent minds. I was directed to the following example on the power of influence instilled by the study of fulfilled/fulling prophecy:

The Study of the Prophecies (At one time, William was an unbeliever.) http://www.earlysda.com/miller/william-miller-biography.html

With intense interest he [William Miller in context] studied the books of Daniel and the Revelation, employing the same principles of interpretation as in the other scriptures, and found, to his great joy, that the prophetic symbols could be understood. He saw that the prophecies, so far as they had been fulfilled, had been fulfilled literally; that all the various figures, metaphors, parables, similitudes, etc., were either explained in their immediate connection, or the terms in which they were expressed were defined in other scriptures, and when thus explained, were to be literally understood. “I was thus satisfied,” he says, “that the Bible is a system of revealed truths, so clearly and simply given that the wayfaring man, though a fool, need not err therein.”—Bliss, page 70. Link after link of the chain of truth rewarded his efforts, as step by step he traced down the great lines of prophecy. Angels of heaven were guiding his mind and opening the Scriptures to his understanding. {CIHS 50.1}

Taking the manner in which the prophecies had been fulfilled in the past as a criterion by which to judge of the fulfillment of those which were still future, he became satisfied that the popular view of the spiritual reign of Christ—a temporal millennium before the end of the world—was not sustained by the word of God. This doctrine, pointing to a thousand years of righteousness and peace before the personal coming of the Lord, put far off the terrors of the day of God. But, pleasing though it may be, it is contrary to the teachings of Christ and His apostles, who declared that the wheat and the tares are to grow together until the harvest, the end of the world; that “evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse;” that “in the last days perilous times shall come;” and that the kingdom of darkness shall continue until the advent of the Lord and shall be consumed with the spirit of His mouth and be destroyed with the brightness of His coming. Matthew 13:30, 38-41; 2 Timothy 3:13, 1; 2 Thessalonians 2:8. {CIHS 50.2}

The doctrine of the world’s conversion and the spiritual reign of Christ was not held by the apostolic church. It was not generally accepted by Christians until about the beginning of the eighteenth century. Like every other error, its results were evil. It taught men to look far in the future for the coming of the Lord and prevented them from giving heed to the signs heralding His approach. It induced a feeling of confidence and security that was not well founded and led many to neglect the preparation necessary in order to meet their Lord. {CIHS 51.1}

Miller found the literal, personal coming of Christ to be plainly taught in the Scriptures. Says Paul: “The Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the Archangel, and with the trump of God.” 1 Thessalonians 4:16. And the Saviour declares: “They shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” “For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” Matthew 24:30, 27. He is to be accompanied by all the hosts of heaven. “The Son of man shall come in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him.” Matthew 25:31. “And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect.” Matthew 24:31. {CIHS 51.2}

At His coming the righteous dead will be raised, and the righteous living will be changed. “We shall not all sleep,” says Paul, “but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” 1 Corinthians 15:51-53. And in his letter to the Thessalonians, after describing the coming of the Lord, he says: “The dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” 1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17. {CIHS 51.3}

Not until the personal advent of Christ can His people receive the kingdom. The Saviour said: “When the Son of man shall come in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory: and before Him shall be gathered all nations: and He shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: and He shall set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on His right hand, Come, ye blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the. We have seen by the scriptures just given that when the Son of man comes, the dead are raised incorruptible and the living are changed. By this great change they are prepared to receive the kingdom; for Paul says: “Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.” 1 Corinthians 15:50. Man in his present state is mortal, corruptible; but the kingdom of God will be incorruptible, enduring forever. Therefore man in his present state cannot enter into the kingdom of God. But when Jesus comes, He confers immortality upon His people; and then He calls them to inherit the kingdom of which they have hitherto been only heirs. {CIHS 52.1}

These and other scriptures clearly proved to Miller’s mind that the events which were generally expected to take place before the coming of Christ, such as the universal reign of peace and the setting up of the kingdom of God upon the earth, were to be subsequent to the second advent. Furthermore, all the signs of the times and the condition of the world corresponded to the prophetic description of the last days. He was forced to the conclusion, from the study of Scripture alone, that the period allotted for the continuance of the earth in its present state was about to close. {CIHS 52.2}

The Impact of Bible Chronology

“Another kind of evidence that vitally affected my mind,” he says, “was the chronology of the Scriptures. ... I found that predicted events, which had been fulfilled in the past, often occurred within a given time. The one hundred and twenty years to the flood (Genesis 6:3); the seven days that were to precede it, with forty days of predicted rain (Genesis 7:4); the four hundred years of the sojourn of Abraham’s seed (Genesis 15:13); the three days of the butlers and baker’s dreams (Genesis 40:12-20); the seven years of Pharaoh’s (Genesis 41:28-54); the forty years in the wilderness (Numbers 14:34); the three and a half years of famine (1 Kings 17:1) [see Luke 4:25;]...the seventy years’ captivity (Jeremiah 25:11); Nebuchadnezzar’s seven times (Daniel 4:13-16); and the seven weeks, threescore and two weeks, and the one week, making seventy weeks, determined upon the Jews (Daniel 9:24-27),—the events limited by these times were all once only a matter of prophecy, and were fulfilled in accordance with the predictions.”—Bliss, pages 74, 75. {CIHS 53.1}

When, therefore, he found, in his study of the Bible, various chronological periods that, according to his understanding of them, extended to the second coming of Christ, he could not but regard them as the “times before appointed,” which God had revealed unto His servants. “The secret things,” says Moses, “belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children forever;” and the Lord declares by the prophet Amos, that He “will do nothing, but He revealeth His secret unto His servants the prophets.” Deuteronomy 29:29; Amos 3:7. The students of God’s word may, then, confidently expect to find the most stupendous event to take place in human history clearly pointed out in the Scriptures of truth. {CIHS 53.2}

“As I was fully convinced,” says Miller, “that all Scripture given by inspiration of God is profitable (2 Timothy 3:16); that it came not at any time by the will of man, but was written as holy men were moved by the Holy Ghost (2 Peter 1:21), and was written ‘for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope’ (Romans 15:4), I could but regard the chronological portions of the Bible as being as much a portion of the word of God, and as much entitled to our serious consideration, as any other portion of the Scriptures. I therefore felt that in endeavoring to comprehend what God had in His mercy seen fit to reveal to us, I had no right to pass over the prophetic periods.”—Bliss, page 75. {CIHS 54.1}

Another Example of the Power of Fulfilled Prophecy in Compelling Belief

Though many of the interpretations of the author of this link (below) are not correct, I include this link as an example as to how fulfilled and fulfilling prophecy can make a believer out of an atheist. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IS7OPcimXds

I was shown that in order to facilitate the New World Order/One World Order, World War III is imminent. In this war, Iran will be reduced to rubble, just as Daniel 8 prophesies. America will triumph for a time, but the cost of this war will humble her in the dust, and four other powers will arise from her demise as a super-power. And out of one of them will come forth the Little Horn, which will bring on the National, and finally the Universal Sunday Law.

During that time many other changes will ensue. Governments will dispense with cash and all transactions will be via computer, and this is the motive behind governments forcing Internet Service Providers to increase their usage at a much lowered rate. Private property will become a thing of the past. Folk will not have money to pay the taxes on their property, so it will be taken from them. Only the elite will be given the right to own property. The rest will have to rent from the government. The devastation will be far worse than either of the past world wars. Gold, silver and other precious metals will be outlawed, and claimed as the property of the government. The Sunday Law will be legislated and finally no one will buy or sell except those who take the Mark of the Beast. The Loud Cry begins commensurate with the legislation of the Sunday Law, and continues for 1260 days.

On day 1260, after the initial legislation of the National Sunday Law, there will be a 30 day warning to the effect that on day 1290, all who will not pledge to worship on Sunday, will be put to death for 45 days. It is during this period from day 1290-1335, that Ezekiel 9 is literally fulfilled upon the professing SDA church. Judgment begins at His Sanctuary, His church. 5T 211. The GC 653-656 fulfillment is upon BABYLON, as evinced in the last paragraph of page 653: “BABYLON IS RIPE…” Proof absolute as to this time of execution of Ezekiel 9 for SDA’s, is the fact that there will be many martyrs, and there will be no martyrs after probation closes says Ellen White. And as well, this is what God confirmed to me in vision. On day 1335, the close of probation ensues.

At that time Satan ascends out of the bottomless pit to personate the second coming of Christ. He burns the Vatican, Revelation 17:16, and his agents, the Jews who reject Christ, will be favored and will be given slaves as servants—both white and black peoples.

“When the Messiah comes every Jew will have 2800 slaves.” Jewish Talmudic Quotes, Simeon Haddarsen, fol. 56-D http://rense.com/general86/talmd.htm

This is why Ellen White saw slavery at the end-time, for which she is greatly mocked by some, to wit:

“Then commenced the jubilee, when the land should rest. I saw the pious slave rise in victory and triumph, and shake off the chains that bound him, while his wicked master was in confusion and knew not what to do; for the wicked could not understand the words of the voice of God.” {EW 286.1}

“The light that was shed upon the waiting ones penetrated everywhere, and those in the churches who had any light, who had not heard and rejected the three messages, obeyed the call and left the fallen churches. Many had come to years of accountability since these messages had been given, and the light shone upon them, and they were privileged to choose life or death. Some chose life and took their stand with those who were looking for their Lord and keeping all His commandments. The third message was to do its work; all were to be tested upon it, and the precious ones were to be called out from the religious bodies. A compelling power moved the honest, while the manifestation of the power of God brought a fear and restraint upon their unbelieving relatives and friends so that they dared not, neither had they the power to, hinder those who felt the work of the Spirit of God upon them. The last call was carried even to the poor slaves, and the pious among them poured forth their songs of rapturous joy at the prospect of their happy deliverance. Their masters could not check them; fear and astonishment kept them silent. Mighty miracles were wrought, the sick were healed, and signs and wonders followed the believers. God was in the work, and every saint, fearless of consequences, followed the convictions of his own conscience and united with those who were keeping all the commandments of God; and with power they sounded abroad the third message. I saw that this message will close with power and strength far exceeding the midnight cry.” {EW 278.1}

I saw that after the war, poverty will be so severe that many will be willing slaves to wealthy Jews for subsistence purposes alone. AND REMEMBER, ELLEN WHITE PROPHESIED ANOTHER CIVIL WAR AT THE END TIME AS WELL! The next Civil War will involve all non-whites against whites and particularly white Christians.

In both former world wars, certain Jews retained their wealth. Many Jews were pro slavery during the Civil War. They were the merchant class of shipping magnates who traded in slaves and it was fellow Jews who could afford to own them on their plantations.

The seven last plagues begin to occur on day 1335. Then, as things settle down and the world government claims peace, sudden destruction will ensue. Armageddon begins and soon after that the second coming of Jesus takes place. At Christ’s coming, the slaves are freed, those in dungeons are released, and the 144,000 are delivered just as they are surrounded by those who are about to kill them. The guns of those who intend to kill them break and they fall prostrate on the ground, stricken by the brightness of the coming of Christ Jesus.

All these events will come upon most of the world as a stupendous surprise. But those who have been studying the Word of God, will not be unaware and will have oil in their lamps—they will have partaken of the Divine Nature of Christ, which enables them to overcome the lusts of the world.

2Pe 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

By way of personal testimony, it was the historical record of fulfilled prophecy that constituted a major factor in making me a believer. Every youth should be pointed to the record of fulfilled prophecy as one of the most compelling evidences for belief. Truly, only a fool could reject the evidence of fulfilled prophecy.

In the Name of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob,
