My Vision on Irrefutable Regeneration
From the Bible Alone
“Let none think that there is no more
knowledge for them to gain. The depth of human intellect may be measured; the works
of human authors may be mastered; but the highest, deepest, broadest flight of
the imagination cannot find out God. There is infinity beyond all that we can
comprehend. We have seen only the
glimmering of divine glory and of the infinitude of knowledge and wisdom; we
have, as it were, been working on the surface of the mine, when rich golden ore
is beneath the surface, to reward the one who will dig for it.
The shaft must be sunk deeper and yet deeper in the mine, and the result
will be glorious treasure. Through a correct faith, divine knowledge
will become human knowledge.”{COL 113.3}
“No one can search the Scriptures in the spirit of
Christ without being rewarded. When man is willing to be instructed as a little
child, when he submits wholly to God, he will find the truth in His word. If men would be obedient, they would
understand the plan of God’s government. The heavenly world would
open its chambers of grace and glory for exploration. Human beings would be
altogether different from what they now are, for by exploring the mines of
truth men would be ennobled. The mystery of redemption, the incarnation
of Christ, His atoning sacrifice, would not be as they are now, vague in our
minds. They would be not only better understood, but altogether more highly
appreciated.”{COL 114.1}
My Vision: December 24, 2014
Ellen G.
White counselled that when presenting something new to someone that it is wise
to save something for later as an irrefutable proof. Those aren’t the words she
used, but that was the distinct meaning of her counsel. The Lord did this very
thing for me on the subject of Regeneration. I had supplicated the Lord that He
would give me proof that is beyond any element of speculation, since this is
such an important issue for His people. He gave me another vision today that
makes the issue of Regeneration absolutely irrefutable. Though I give Spirit of Prophecy proofs as well, I give
irrefutable proof from the Bible alone.
What is different from this vision than any other I have
had involving these verses is that I was shown that from Isaiah 62, Revelation
3, and Revelation 14:1-4, one can prove IRREFUTABLY that it is Philadelphians
that constitute the 144,000 BRIDE that is redeemed from men at the end-time to
give the Loud Cry awakening call to the 10 virgins. It will be
proven that Philadelphians gave the first Loud Cry awakening in 1844, and that
the open and shut door of Rev. 3:8, applies to
Philadelphians in 1844 and again at the next Loud Cry awakening of the 10
sleeping virgins. In summary, the PROOF FACTORS ARE:
·
Isaiah 62:1-5
defines Zion as the bride. This is the same bride that goes into the Mt. Zion
Temple. This bride is PERFECT. The Hebrew word for virgin in verse 5, is bethulah
meaning strictly pure.
·
In Isaiah 62:11, the
bride is instructed to give the Loud Cry to her daughter (10 virgins): “Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the
world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy
salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.”
·
Revelation chapters
3 and 14 give very important similar qualifications of the 144,000, which I
will prove further along.
·
Revelation 3:8
applies to 1844, which I will prove.
·
Both Philadelphians
and the 144,000 are without fault--they constitute the 144,000.
·
Why would Philadelphians of A.D. 1, be kept from being the bride
when they are without fault?
·
How could
Philadelphians of A.D. 1, go into the Temple on Mt. Zion, when Ellen White said
that only the 144,000 enter there, and that the 144,000 are the last generation
of men living just before Christ comes?
All the 10 virgins are found slumbering and
sleeping in the first Midnight Loud Cry and in the second Loud Cry awakening by
the bride. COL. 405, 406, and Matthew 25, to wit:
Mat 25:5 While
the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
I was
shown the scriptural proof that the angel showed Ellen White for the following
statements:
"As
we were traveling along, we met a company who also were gazing at the glories
of the place. I noticed red as a border on their garments; their crowns were
brilliant; their robes were pure white. As we greeted them, I asked Jesus who
they were. He said they were martyrs that had been slain for Him. With them was
an innumerable company of little ones; they also had a hem of red on their
garments. Mount Zion was just before us, and on the mount was a glorious temple, and about it were seven other mountains, on which grew
roses and lilies. And I saw the little ones climb, or, if they chose, use their
little wings and fly, to the top of the mountains and pluck the never-fading
flowers. There were all kinds of trees around the temple to beautify the place:
the box, the pine, the fir, the oil, the myrtle, the pomegranate, and the fig
tree bowed down with the weight of its timely figs—these made the place all
over glorious. And as we were about to enter
the holy temple, Jesus raised
His lovely voice and said, ‘Only the
144,000 enter this place,’ and we shouted, “Alleluia.” {EW 18.2}
Here
(below) are the precise Scriptural proofs that my angel told me that he showed
to Ellen White when she wrote the above statement.
Rev 14:1 And I looked,
and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand,
having his Father's name written in
their foreheads.
Rev 14:2 And I
heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a
great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:
Rev 14:3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and
before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the
hundred and forty and four thousand,
which were redeemed from the earth.
Rev
14:4 These are
they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the
Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
Rev
14:5 And in
their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of
God.
·
Revelation 14:1
speaks of Mt. Zion with 144,000 on that mountain with the Lamb.
·
Ellen White said that
only the 144,000 go into the Temple on Mt. Zion. EW, p. 19.
·
In Isaiah 62:1-5 (in full at end of this
document) Zion is the bride of Christ.
·
The 144,000 have the
Father’s name written in their foreheads.
·
These 144,000 are
redeemed from among men, living men, not the grave.
·
They are
FIRSTFRUITS.
·
These 144,000 are
WITHOUT FAULT, as Philadelphia is without fault in that they are not blamed for
anything and they Get the name of God written upon them, and are made pillars
in the Temple.
My angel
related to me that he showed Ellen White the correlation between the above
verses and Revelation 3:7-12, as follows:
Rev 3:7
And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he
that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and
no man openeth;
Rev
3:8 I know thy works: behold, I have set
before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast
kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
Rev
3:9 Behold, I will make them of the
synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I
will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have
loved thee.
Rev
3:10 Because thou hast kept
the word of my patience, I also will
keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to
try them that dwell upon the earth.
Rev
3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that
fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
Rev 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a
pillar in the temple of my God, and
he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of
the city of my God, [which is] new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will
write upon him my new name.
·
Philadelphians have
before them AN OPEN DOOR THAT NO MAN CAN SHUT.
·
Philadelphians are
not blamed for anything so are WITHOUT FAULT like the 144,000 of Rev. 14:5.
·
Philadelphians are
kept from the hour of temptation that comes upon ALL THE WORLD. That is at the
end-time, Matthew 24:21.
·
Philadelphians are
made a PILLAR [LEADERS] in the Temple on Mt. Zion.
·
Only the 144,000 go
into the Temple on Mt. Zion.
·
Philadelphians have
the name of God and the name of the city of God, which is NEW
JERUSALEM written on them.
·
In Revelation 14:1,
the 144,000 have the Father’s name written in their foreheads.
There
can be no mistake in equating the 144,000 with Philadelphians.
The Open and Shut Door Factor Relative to Revelation 3:8
“But clearer
light came with the investigation of the sanctuary question. They now saw that
they were correct in believing that the end of the 2300 days in 1844 marked an important
crisis. But while it was true that that door of
hope and mercy by which men had for eighteen hundred years found access to God,
was closed, another door was opened,
and forgiveness of sins was offered to men through the intercession of Christ
in the most holy. One part of His ministration had closed, only to give place
to another. There was still an “open door” to the heavenly sanctuary,
where Christ was ministering in the sinner’s behalf. {GC 429.2}
Now was seen the application of those words of Christ in
the Revelation, addressed to the church at this very time: “These things saith He that is holy, He that is true, He that hath
the key of David, He that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no
man openeth; I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and
no man can shut it.” Revelation 3:7, 8. {GC 430.1}
·
In Great Controversy, p. 429 (above),
Ellen White applies the open and shut door AFTER the 2300 days end in 1844.
·
In Revelation 3:8,
it is Philadelphia who receives the open and shut door.
·
Those who gave the
Loud Cry call to the 10 virgins in 1844, were the bride of Christ,
Philadelphians, for it is the voice of the bride that awakens ALL TEN virgins.
COL, p. 405, 406.
The FIRSTFRUITS Factor
“When
Christ upon the cross cried out, ‘It is finished,’ there was a mighty
earthquake that rent open the graves of many who had been faithful and loyal,
bearing their testimony against every evil work, and magnifying the Lord God of
hosts. Now as the Life-giver came forth from the sepulcher, proclaiming, “I am
the resurrection and the life,” He summoned these saints from the grave. When alive,
they had, at the cost of their lives, borne their testimony unflinchingly for
the truth. Now they were to be
witnesses of Him who had raised them from the dead. These, said Christ, are no
longer the captives of Satan. I have redeemed them; I have brought them from the grave as the firstfruits of My power, to be
with me where I am, nevermore to see death or experience sorrow.—Manuscript
115, 1897. {CTr 283.5}
·
At Christ’s
resurrection FIRSTFRUITS were redeemed from the dead, the grave, as FIRSTFRUITS
of His power to be witnesses of Him who had raised them from the dead.
·
These FIRSTFRUITS
were raised from the dead and given a body.
·
The 144,000 of
Revelation 14:4, are also spoken of as FIRSTFRUITS.
These also are raised from the dead and given a body. They are the faithful
bride of every generation.
·
Some speculate that
Regeneration conflicts with the SDA teaching on the state of the dead. Did the
saints raised at Christ’s resurrection conflict with the Bible’s teaching on
the state of the dead? Did that resurrection conflict with the Bible’s teaching
that it is appointed once for man to die and then the judgment? Did those
people go to heaven before going through the Investigative Judgment?
·
Does any teaching on
the state of the dead trump God’s plan to fulfill His promise to the
Philadelphians in A.D. 1?
Rev
14:4 These are
they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the
Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
The Bride Factor
How do
we know that Philadelphia is the 144,000, and that both terms speak of the
bride of Christ?
·
In Isaiah 62:1-5,
Zion is married to the bridegroom Christ.
·
The bride must be
without fault to be the body of Christ of which He is the head.
·
Both Philadelphia
and the 144,000 are not faulted for anything. This
is also why only Zion, the 144,000 enter the Temple on Mt. Zion. Jesus is the
High Priest in that Temple and the bride is the lesser priests after the
structure of the Sanctuary Service.
·
The disciples of Christ are referred to the bride in Desire of Ages, 179. To be the bride
they must be amongst the bride at the end-time.
Proof Perfect for Regeneration
Indeed,
there can be no mistake in equating the 144,000 with Philadelphians. This is
not speculation in the least.
·
Revelation 3, consists of promises that were FIRST given to
Philadelphia in A.D. 1.
·
Philadelphians in
A.D. 1 were promised that they would be kept through the time of trouble to
come upon all the world. How could that be other than
Regeneration? How else could Philadelphians be alive at the end-time to give
the Loud Cry to awaken the 10 virgins.
·
Ellen White equated
Philadelphians with the 144,000, who are translated without seeing death.
·
In applying the shut
door to Philadelphians of 1844, Ellen White was saying that a bride existed in
1844, and that bride received an open and shut door.
It is the Voice of God and the Voice of the Bride that
Awaken all Ten Sleeping Virgins
Chapter 29—“To Meet the Bridegroom” (Christ’s Object Lessons, pp. 405,
406).
This chapter is based on Matthew 25:1-13
Christ with His disciples
is seated upon the Mount of Olives. The sun has set behind the mountains, and
the heavens are curtained with the shades of evening. In full view is a
dwelling house lighted up brilliantly as if for some festive scene. The light
streams from the openings, and an expectant company wait around, indicating
that a marriage procession is soon to appear. In many parts of the East,
wedding festivities are held in the evening. The bridegroom goes forth to meet his bride and bring her to his home. By torchlight the bridal party proceed
from her father’s house to his own, where a feast is provided for the invited
guests. In the scene upon which Christ looks, a company are awaiting the
appearance of the bridal party, intending to join the procession.{COL 405.1}
Lingering near the bride’s house are ten
young women robed in white. Each carries a lighted
lamp and a small flagon for oil. All are anxiously watching for the appearance
of the bridegroom. But there is a delay. Hour after hour passes; the watchers
become weary and fall asleep. At midnight the cry is
heard, “Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.” The sleepers, suddenly awaking, spring to their feet.
They see the procession moving on, bright with torches and glad with music. They hear the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride. The ten maidens seize their lamps and begin to trim
them, in haste to go forth. But five have neglected to fill their flasks with
oil. They did not anticipate so long a delay, and they have not prepared for
the emergency. In distress they appeal to their wiser companions saying, “Give
us of your oil; for our lamps are going out.” (Margin.)
But the waiting five, with their freshly trimmed lamps, have emptied their
flagons. They have no oil to spare, and they answer, “Not so; lest there be not
enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for
yourselves.” {COL 405.2}
While they went to buy,
the procession moved on, and left them behind. The five with lighted lamps
joined the throng and entered the house with the bridal train, and the door was
shut. When the foolish virgins reached the banqueting hall, they received an
unexpected denial. The master of the feast declared, “I know you not.” They
were left standing without, in the empty street, in the blackness of the night.{COL 406.1}
As Christ sat looking
upon the party that waited for the bridegroom, He told His disciples the story
of the ten virgins, by their experience illustrating the experience of the
church that shall live just before His second coming.{COL
406.2}
The two classes of
watchers represent the two classes who profess to be waiting for their Lord.
They are called virgins because they profess a pure faith. By the lamps is
represented the word of God. The psalmist says, “Thy word is a lamp unto my
feet, and a light unto may path.” 407Psalm 119:105.
The oil is a symbol of
the Holy Spirit. Thus the Spirit is represented in the prophecy of Zechariah.
“The angel that talked with me came again,” he says, “and waked me, as a man
that is wakened out of his sleep, and said unto me, What seest thou? And I said,
I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top
of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which
are upon the top thereof; and two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of
the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof. So I answered and spake to
the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these,
my lord? ... Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This
is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power,
but by My Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.... And I answered again, and said
unto him, What be these two olive branches which
408through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves? ...
Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that
stand by the Lord of the whole earth.” Zechariah 4:1-14. Christ’s Object Lessons, pp. 405, 406.
The Bride ZION From
Isaiah 62
Isa 62:1 For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest,
until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation
thereof as a lamp that burneth.
Isa 62:2 And the Gentiles shall see thy
righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.
Isa 62:3 Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the
hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.
Isa 62:4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken;
neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate:
but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD
delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.
Isa 62:5 For as a young man
marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice
over thee.
Isa 62:6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O
Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day
nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,
Isa 62:7 And give him no
rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
Isa 62:8 The LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and
by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give
thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not
drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:
Isa 62:9 But they that have
gathered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD; and they that have brought it
together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.
Isa 62:10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the
people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard
for the people.
Isa 62:11 Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion,
Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work
before him.
Isa 62:12 And they shall call
them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called,
Sought out, A city not forsaken.
The Bride, the 144,000, to be Translated Without Seeing Death
"The
woman is a symbol of the church, and the remnant of the church represents the Christians
of the last generation of men, living just prior to the second
advent. The
dragon makes war on these for keeping
the commandments of God, Sabbath and all, and having the testimony of Jesus
Christ, which, according to the inspired definition of chap. xix, 10, 'is the
spirit of prophecy.' Here, then, are the causes of the dragon's warfare
upon the remnant. They
teach the observance of the ten commandments, and the
revival of the gifts, and acknowledge the gift of prophecy among them. When the Devil got one foot
upon the fourth commandment, and the other upon the gifts planted in the
Christian church by Jesus Christ, then his satanic majesty was filled with
revengeful delight. But
when the remnant, whom God designs to
fit for translation to Heaven without seeing death, 'ask for the old
paths, where is the good way, and walk therein,' then the dragon is wroth, and makes war on them.
The true spirit of the dragonic host, which is already being somewhat developed,
is vividly described in Isa. xxx, 8-13, as being manifested just prior to the
sudden destruction of those who hate the pure testimony, and love smooth and
deceitful things." E. G. White, Spiritual
Gifts, Vol. III, 26, 27.
The 144,000
“The living saints, 144,000 in number, knew and
understood the voice, while the wicked thought it was thunder and an
earthquake. When God spake the time, he poured on us the Holy Ghost, and our
faces began to light up and shine with the glory of God as Moses did when he came
down from Mount Sinai, (Exodus 34:30-34).” {Broadside1 April 6, 1846, par. 2}
The Optional Implications of Rejecting
Regeneration
All who reject the truth
of Regeneration make the following indictments against God and/or Ellen G.
White.
1.
Revelation 14:1-4, is
speaking of the same class as Revelation 3, Message to Philadelphia, which
speaks of the bride of Christ, Isaiah 62, which gives the Loud Cry. A
paraphrase of that Midnight
Cry message (Matthew 25) by the bride to her daughters (the ten
virgins) is Isaiah 62:11. This is the Bible ALONE, IRREFUTABLE PROOF for
Regeneration.
2.
Ellen White said that
only the 144,000 OF THE LAST GENERATION
LIVING JUST BEFORE CHRIST COMES, go into the
Temple on Mt. Zion. God says Philadelphians as far back as A.D. 1 go into the
Temple for they are made PILLARS (LEADERS) in the Temple. The only way
Philadelphians could go into the Temple is by being REGENERATED, for only the
living saints go in there according to Ellen White. Regeneration is the only way Philadelphians
could go into the Temple as part of the living saints--144,000 at the end. If
Regeneration is not true, Ellen White would be a false prophet.
God promised
Philadelphians in Rev. 3, circa A.D. 1, whom we have proved are the 144,000,
are made pillars in the Temple and that they get the name of God in their
forehead, the New Jerusalem.
3.
God says in Revelation
14:1-4 that the 144,000 are redeemed from men. That means they are translated
without seeing death. That means they are the bride. If God does not keep His
Word to both the Philadelphians of A.D. 1, and the 144,000; if these are not
one and the same group, God would be a liar and His Word would be false.
4.
Ellen White said in Desire of Ages, 179, that the disciples
were the bride of Christ. The bride is the 144,000, Philadelphians. The only way the
disciples could be part of the bride, the 144,000, is for them to be
regenerated. So if Regeneration is not true, ONCE AGAIN ELLEN WHITE IS A FALSE
PROPHET.
5.
Ellen White stated that
some at a Conference in 1846 would be food for worms, but that others would be
alive to be translated at the coming of Jesus. The only way this could be a
true statement AS SPOKEN BY AN ANGEL, IS FOR REGENERATION TO BE TRUE. “I was shown the company present at
the Conference. Said the angel: “Some food for worms, some subjects of the
seven last plagues, some will be alive and remain upon the earth to be
translated at the coming of Jesus.”—Testimonies For The Church 1:131, 132 (1856).{LDE
36.3}
6.
If Regeneration is not true,
Ellen White would be a false prophet by this statement, and many do incorrectly
indict her as a false prophet for this statement because they don’t know the
truth involving Regeneration. They are surface readers who do not dig deep in
the mine of truth that they might understand the deeper things of God. Ellen
White’s critics do this in many other instances involving other issues as well.
7.
If Ellen White is a false
prophet, then God’s Word would be false as well, because He promised the true
church the gift of prophecy, and no other church that meets the other tests,
has that gift.
8.
It should be clear that
all who would denounce Regeneration as being erroneous,
are indicting both the Bible and Ellen White as being false.
This is an example of how those who reject the Testimonies of Ellen White, come to reject the Bible as well.
In the name of the God of
Abraham, Isaac and Jacob,
Ronald William Beaulieu
