My Vision on Walter Veith & Francois du
Plessis on Overcoming Sin
Part 2
Psa 77:13 Thy way, O God, is in the
sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?
Eph 5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious
church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be
holy and without blemish
“The correct understanding of the
ministration in the heavenly sanctuary is the foundation of our faith.” (Lt. 208, 1906, in Evangelism, p. 221)
“Abraham obeyed My voice, and kept My charge, My commandments, My
statutes, and My laws.” Genesis 26:5.
1Pe 4:17 For the time is come that
judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin
at us, what shall the end
be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
Eph 5:27 That he might present it to himself a
glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it
should be holy and without blemish
I asked the Lord about those He will judge
according to their trend. I asked the Lord if the following statement applied
to all the saints that are saved. I was shown that indeed it does apply to all
the saints that are saved, but that the bride of Christ transcends the trend
aspect by overcoming all known and wilful sin BEFORE she is glorified.
Judged by our Trend.—"Our characters are not
to be weighed by smooth words and fair speeches manufactured for set times and
occasions: but by the spirit and TREND of the whole life. E.G White, Review
and Herald, 08-16-92, "Judge Not, That Ye be Not Judged."
The Experience
of the Bride Versus the Guests at the Wedding Feast
“The marriage represents the reception by Christ
of His kingdom. The Holy City, the New Jerusalem, which is the capital and
representative of the kingdom, is called "the bride, the Lamb's
wife." Said the angel to John: "Come hither, I will show thee the
bride, the Lamb's wife." "He carried me away in the spirit,"
says the prophet, "and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending
out of heaven from God." Revelation 21:9, 10. Clearly, then, the bride represents the Holy
City, and the virgins that go out to meet the bridegroom are a symbol of the
church. In the Revelation the people of God are said to be the guests at the marriage supper.
Revelation 19:9. If guests, they cannot be represented also as the bride.”
The Great Controversy, pp.
426, 427.
The Voice of God and the Voice of the Bride
Awaken ALL TEN VIRGINS
“Christ
with His disciples is seated upon the Mount of Olives.
The sun has set behind the mountains, and the heavens are curtained with the
shades of evening. In full view is a dwelling house lighted up brilliantly as
if for some festive scene. The light streams from the openings, and an
expectant company wait around, indicating that a marriage procession is soon to
appear. In many parts of the East, wedding festivities are held in the evening.
The bridegroom goes forth to
meet his bride and bring her to his home. By torchlight the bridal party proceed from her father's
house to his own, where a feast is provided for the invited guests. In
the scene upon which Christ looks, a company are awaiting the appearance of the bridal party, intending to
join the procession.
Lingering near the bride's house are ten young women
robed in white. Each carries a lighted lamp and a small flagon for oil. All are
anxiously watching for the appearance [p. 406] of the bridegroom. But there is
a delay. Hour after hour passes; the watchers become weary and fall asleep. At
midnight the cry is heard, "Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to
meet him." The sleepers, suddenly awaking, spring to their feet. They see the
procession moving on, bright with torches and glad with
music. They hear the voice
of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride.” Christ’s Object Lessons, p. 405.
·
Jesus first takes His bride to His home, the Sanctuary in
heaven, Zion (Sion) the church in heaven where she enters now by faith:
“I saw that while Jesus was in
the most holy place He would be married to the New Jerusalem; and after His
work should be accomplished in the holiest, He would descend to the earth in
kingly power and take to Himself the precious ones who had patiently waited His
return.” Early Writings, p. 251.
“I saw the third angel
pointing upward, showing the disappointed ones the way to the holiest of the
heavenly sanctuary. As
they by faith enter the most holy, they find Jesus, and hope and joy spring up
anew. I saw them looking back, reviewing the past, from the proclamation
of the second advent of Jesus, down through their experience to the passing of
the time in 1844. They see their disappointment explained, and joy and certainty
again animate them. The third angel has lighted up the past, the present, and
the future, and they know that God has indeed led them by His mysterious
providence.
It
was represented to me that the remnant followed Jesus into the most holy place and beheld the ark and the mercy seat,
and were captivated with their glory.” Early Writings, p. 255.
· Jesus takes His bride,
the remnant, BY FAITH, to His House,
the Most Holy Place.
Who are
the remnant?
"The woman is a symbol of the church,
and the remnant of
the church represents the Christians of the last generation of men, living
just prior to the second advent. The dragon makes war on
these for keeping the commandments
of God, Sabbath and all, and having the testimony of Jesus Christ, which,
according to the inspired definition of chap. xix, 10, 'is the spirit of
prophecy.' Here, then, are the causes of the dragon's warfare upon the remnant.
They teach the observance of
the ten commandments, and the revival of the gifts, and acknowledge the gift of
prophecy among them. When the Devil got one foot upon the fourth
commandment, and the other upon the gifts planted in the Christian church by
Jesus Christ, then his satanic majesty was filled with revengeful delight. But when the remnant, whom God
designs to fit for translation to Heaven without seeing death,
'ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein,' then the dragon is wroth, and
makes war on them.
The
true spirit of the dragonic host, which is already being somewhat developed, is
vividly described in Isa. xxx, 8-13, as being manifested just prior to the
sudden destruction of those who hate the pure testimony, and
love smooth and deceitful things." E. G. White, Spiritual Gifts, Vol. III, 26, 27.
“The 144,000 were all sealed and perfectly united.
On their foreheads was written, God, New Jerusalem, and a glorious star containing Jesus' new name.
At our happy, holy state the wicked were enraged, and would rush violently up
to lay hands on us to thrust us into prison, when we would stretch forth the
hand in the name of the Lord, and they would fall helpless to the ground. Then
it was that the synagogue of Satan knew that God had loved us who could wash
one another's feet and salute the brethren with a holy kiss, and they worshiped
at our feet.” Early Writings, p. 15.
Message to Philadelphia: Rev
3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my
God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of
the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of
heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
“As we were traveling along, we met a company who also
were gazing at the glories of the place. I noticed red as a border on their garments;
their crowns were brilliant; their robes were pure white. As we greeted [19] them, I asked
Jesus who they were. He
said they were martyrs that had been slain for Him. With them was an
innumerable company of little ones; they also had a hem of red on their garments. Mount Zion was just before us,
and on the mount was a glorious temple, and about it were
seven other mountains, on which grew roses and lilies. And I saw the little
ones climb, or, if they chose, use their little wings and fly, to the top of
the mountains and pluck the never-fading flowers. There were all kinds of trees
around the temple to beautify the place: the box, the pine, the fir, the oil,
the myrtle, the pomegranate, and the fig tree bowed down with the weight of its
timely figs—these made the place all over glorious. And as we were about to enter the holy temple,
Jesus raised His lovely voice and said, "Only the 144,000 enter this
place," and we shouted, "Alleluia.” Early Writings, p. 19.
·
The remnant of the
church are the Christians of the LAST GENERATION OF MEN living just prior to
the second advent.
·
They KEEP the commandments of God,
for they are WITHOUT FAULT, the 144,000 of Revelation 14:1-5.
·
Only the 144,000
enter the Temple on Mt. Zion in heaven. Christ is the High Priest. They are the
lesser priests.
·
The 144,000 were all
sealed and perfectly united. On their foreheads was written, God, New Jerusalem, and a
glorious star containing Jesus' new name.
·
Philadelphia is made
PILLARS (PRIESTS) in the Temple on Mt. Zion. She is the bride—not faulted in
Rev. 3.
·
I will write upon [PHILADELPHIA] him the name of my God,
and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem.
·
The 144,000 are
translated WITHOUT SEEING DEATH. Elijah is a type of those who are thus
translated.
· Elijah purifies the Son’s of Levi. Mal. 3. The leaders of
the new movement fail to give this purification message. Thus, they fail to
participate in the privilege of hastening the preparation of the bride, and
thus the second coming of Jesus Christ. This is why
Christ waits. He is waiting for His bride to believe that His HOLY SPIRIT POWER
given for OBEDIENCE, Romans 1:5, is indeed efficacious, being all powerful
against any foe, including Satan, His arch enemy.
Another name (title) for the bride is Zion (Sion) Hebrews 12:22,
23. It is Zion that is married. She has sons and daughters, the people of the
church, the ten virgins who are not a “strictly pure virgin,” (bethulah) which is the Hebrew meaning
of the word virgin in verse 5 (below). The use of the word Jerusalem means TRUE
SPIRITUAL JERUSALEM as opposed to APOSTATE, once
SPIRITUAL JERUSALEM.
Isa 62:1
For Zion's sake
will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof
go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a
lamp that burneth.
Isa 62:2
And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new
name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.
Isa 62:3
Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal
diadem in the hand of thy God.
Isa 62:4
Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more
be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah:
for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.
Isa 62:5
For as a young man marrieth a virgin (bethulah), so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God
rejoice over thee.
Isa 62:6
I have set watchmen
upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor
night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,
Isa 62:7
And give him no rest, till he establish, and
till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
Isa 62:8
The LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine
enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which
thou hast laboured:
Isa 62:9
But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and
praise the LORD; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the
courts of my holiness.
Isa 62:10
Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast
up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.
Isa 62:11
Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh;
behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
Isa 62:12
And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and
thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.
The True Reformers are Zion, the Bride,
Philadelphia, the 144,000, who are WRITTEN, REGISTERED IN SION (ZION), the
church of men MADE PERFECT in heaven.
"Characteristics of True Reformers.—Here are given the characteristics of those who
shall be reformers, who will bear the banner of the third angel's message,
those who avow themselves God's commandment-keeping people, and who honor God,
and are earnestly engaged, in the sight of all the universe, in building up the
old waste places. Who is it that calls them, The repairers of the breach, The
restorers of paths to dwell in? It is God. Their names are registered
[written--Heb. 12:22, 23] in heaven as reformers, restorers, as raising the
foundations of many generations." E. G. White, SDA Bible Commentary, Vol. 4, 1151, & Review
and Herald, Oct. 13, 1891.
I was shown that the greatest
proof that the bride overcomes this side of glorification is the fact that Ellen
White says that our characters don’t change at the second coming, and that the
robe of Christ’s righteousness will not cover sin. The bride must be a perfect
overcomer because she is represented as Christ’s BODY, while He is the HEAD.
·
The sons (Isa 62:5) and daughters (vs. 11) of Zion are the
guests at the wedding, the people of the church who will comprise the great
multitude. GC, p. 426.
·
Verse 11 is a paraphrase of the Midnight Cry—Behold the
Bridegroom cometh, Go ye out to meet Him. Thus, it is the bride who gives the
final Loud Midnight Cry to the people (10 virgins) of ALL CHURCHES,
·
Why is the voice of God and the voice of the bride calling all
10 virgins OUT OF ALL CHURCHES? Because they are all corrupt as the seven women
of Isaiah 4:1-4 depicts.
·
The Midnight Cry is the same as Isaiah 37:31, 32, for OUT OF
[APOSTATE] JERUSALEM goeth forth a remnant, as well as a remnant out of
Babylon.
“Nearest the throne are those
who were once zealous in the cause of Satan, but who, plucked as brands from
the burning, have followed their Saviour with deep, intense devotion. Next are those who perfected
Christian characters in the midst of falsehood and
infidelity, those who honored the law of God when the Christian world declared
it void, and the millions, of
all ages, who were martyred for their faith. And beyond is the "great multitude, which no
man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, . . .
before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in
their hands." Revelation 7:9. Their warfare is ended, their victory won.
They have run the race and reached the prize. The palm branch in their hands is
a symbol of their triumph, the white robe an emblem of the spotless
righteousness of Christ which now is theirs.” The Great Controversy, p. 665.
1.
Nearest the throne is the bride of Christ.
2. Then the
martyrs.
3. Then the great
multitude.
God Declares the
Bride, the 144,000 to be Without Fault
Revelation 14:1-4 is God’s declaration that it is
possible to keep His Law and that it never should have been broken. His bride
vindicates God’s commandments and proves that it is possible to KEEP THEM,
WITHOUT FAULT, by the empowerment of the Holy Spirit of Christ’s Divine Nature.
II Peter 1:4.
2Pe 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great
and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine
nature, having escaped the
corruption that is in the world through lust.
This is the rest of the story which Walter Veith
and Francois du Plessis fail to relate. This is the truth
that proves the efficacious POWER of Christ’s Holy Spirit, empowering man to
overcome all known sin this side of glorification.
Proof Absolute From the BIBLE and the SOP That
the Bride of Christ FULLY OVERCOMES ALL SIN and is Married BEFORE His Second Coming,
BEFORE ANY GLORIFICATION
It would behoove you
to pray very solemnly before reading the following statements. The Angel of the
Lord instructed me that Jesus saved this ABSOLUTE BOMBSHELL for the end—to
provide the MOST STARTLING MESSAGE that Christians of any persuasion will ever
hear, and to aid His bride to once again arrive at her state of PERFECTION
which she had in her pre-investigative judgment life. Remember that
Philadelphia, circa 1st century, was told she would be the bride of
Jesus Christ and kept through the worst time of trouble to come upon planet
earth—Revelation 3:10-12. Ellen White said the disciples were part of the
bride. Desire of Ages, 179. She said
that only the 144,000 go into the Temple on Mt. Zion, and that they are
translated without seeing death.
In order to
interpret all of the above factors so that nothing
contradicts, translated without seeing death must mean after one is
Regenerated. The disciples saw death. The Philadelphians of the 1st
century saw death. Yet, according to Ellen G. White, they must be alive and on
earth at the last generation remnant in order to be one of the 144,000 who go
into the temple on Mt. Zion, for only the 144,000 enter that Temple. EW, p. 19.
“In the summer and autumn of
1844 the proclamation, "Behold, the Bridegroom cometh," was
given. The two classes represented by the wise and foolish virgins were then
developed--one class who looked with joy to the Lord's appearing, and who had
been diligently preparing to meet Him; another class that, influenced by fear
and acting from impulse, had been satisfied with a theory of the truth, but
were destitute of the grace of God. In the parable, when the bridegroom came, "they that were ready
went in with him to the marriage." The coming of the bridegroom,
here brought to view, takes place before the marriage. The marriage represents the reception by Christ of
His kingdom. The Holy City, the New Jerusalem, which is the capital and
representative of the kingdom, is called "the bride, the Lamb's
wife." Said the angel to John: "Come hither, I will show thee
the bride, the Lamb's wife." "He carried me away in the spirit,"
says the prophet, "and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem,
descending out of heaven from God." Revelation
21:9, 10. Clearly, then, the bride represents the Holy
City, and the virgins that go out to meet the bridegroom are a symbol of
the church. In the Revelation the people of God are said to be the guests at the marriage
supper. Revelation 19:9. If
guests, they cannot be represented also as the bride.
Christ, as stated by the prophet Daniel, will receive from the Ancient of Days
in heaven, "dominion, and glory, and a kingdom;" He will receive the New Jerusalem, the capital of His
kingdom, "prepared as a bride adorned for her husband." Daniel
7:14; Revelation 21:2. Having
received the kingdom, He will come in His glory, as King of kings and
Lord of lords, for the redemption of His people, who are to "sit down with
Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob," at His table in His kingdom (Matthew 8:11;
Luke 22:30), to partake of the marriage supper of the Lamb.
The proclamation, "Behold, the Bridegroom
cometh," in the summer of 1844, led thousands to expect the immediate
advent of the Lord. At the appointed time the Bridegroom came, not to the
earth, as the people expected, but to the Ancient of Days in heaven, to the marriage, the reception
of His kingdom. "They
that were ready went in with Him to the marriage: and the door was shut."
They were not to be
present in person at the marriage; for it takes place in heaven, while they are
upon the earth. The followers of Christ are to "wait for their
Lord, when He will return
from the wedding." Luke 12:36. But they are to understand His work, and to follow Him
by faith as He goes in before God. It is in this sense that they are said to go in to the
marriage.” The Great Controversy,
pp. 426, 427.
Rev 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new
Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for
her husband.
Rev 19:7 Let us be
glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the
marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
·
“Having received the kingdom, He will come in His glory”
[THIS IS WHY THE BRIDE MUST MAKE HERSELF READY BEFORE CHRIST COMES IN HIS
GLORY—BEFORE GLORIFICATION.]
·
The bride must be
PURE AND MARRIED before the second coming, for she is MARRIED before He “will
return from the wedding.” Luke 12:36. It you don’t believe Ellen White. Take it
from God Almighty!
·
Luk 12:36 And ye yourselves like unto men that wait
for their lord, when he
will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.
·
This also is FULL
SUPPORT for REGENERATION, which explains how the marriage was consummated in
1844, when those who were ready, PHILADELPHIA, HIS BRIDE, in the parable, when the
bridegroom came, "they that were ready went in with him to the marriage."
·
Now friends of mine,
the Lord has lowered His BOOMERANG on all the false prophets. This is the two-edged
sword of Elijah, which spiritually slays all the false prophets at the
end-time.
·
This proves
irrefutably that the 144,000 are PERFECT and MARRIED before the second coming,
and before any glorification that takes place at that time.
·
Rev 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice,
and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his
wife hath made herself ready.
·
Rev 19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine
linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
·
If you won’t accept
this evidence from the BIBLE [LUKE 12:36] AS WELL AS THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY, it
won’t matter, because you will be lost anyway. God is pressing the issues at this end-time. The stakes are as high as they get. What
is your decision today? Choose ye this day whom you will serve. God, or man.
Choose this day whom you will OBEY, GOD, OR HIS ADVERSARY THE DEVIL.
·
I was shown that you
should no longer support any false leader in the new movement, because they are
grooming men, maidens and little children for the slaughter.
·
I was shown it is
foolish to support men in the building up of monuments to man and enabling men
without a full truth message to travel all over the world teaching error. I
speak of men like Walter Veith and Doug Batchelor, both of whom have acquired
country properties, and live high, while teaching error all over the world that
will make men twice the child of hell they are. Matthew 23:15, and prevail upon
their converts to remain at the omega apostasy new movement for the slaughter
of men, maidens and little children. I saw that the Lord views the support of
such men as a high spiritual crime and that all who do so will be held
corporately responsible for their heinous errors.
The following short
videos show how Walter Veith and Doug Batchelor live. If you think God is
blessing this type of lifestyle, WHILE THEY ARE DRAWING THEIR SUBJECTS INTO A
NEW MOVEMENT THAT HAS REMOVED GOD (1SM 205), you had better pray hard and think
again:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNgihRJBk3M
Note Veith’s plush log home on lake Dugan in the following
video. Dugan Lake is an expensive resort area in British Columbia, Canada. Note
the multiple log structures that don’t come cheap! I can promise you one thing
in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ: If these men were teaching the FULL
TRUTH, they would not receive the funds to make their lifestyle sustainable.
You who have tried to give the FULL TRUTH, know EXACTLY what I mean. For the
rest of you, TRY IT, and you will QUICKLY see what I mean!
The examples of Doug
Batchelor and Walter Veith’s lifestyle are a classic
illustration of what the retired SDA minister told me about how to get rich as
an Adventist. That minister separated rather than pursuing the formula he
related to me.
·
“I saw that the
cause of God had been hindered and dishonored by some traveling who had no message from God.
[See Appendix.] Such will have to give an account
to God for every dollar they have used in traveling where it was not their duty
to go, because that money might have helped on the cause of God; and for the
lack of the spiritual food that might have been given them by God's called and
chosen messengers, had they had the means, souls have starved and died. I saw
that those who have strength to labor with their hands and help sustain the
cause were as accountable for their strength as others were for their
property.” Early Writings, p. 50.
There are men spending precious means for travelling all over the world who are not teaching the full truth regarding the following issues.
1.
Correct response to
the apostasy of the new movement.
2.
A correct teaching
on overcoming sin that will inspire the bride of Christ to make herself ready
with the aid of Christ’s Divine Nature Holy Spirit.
3.
They are not teaching
the truth on the Godhead. They are teaching the Trinity Doctrine which sweeps
away the entire Christian economy.
4.
A correct teaching
on corporate responsibility for the apostasy of the new movement.
5.
They are crossing
sea and land to make proselytes, whom they make twice the child of hell than
they are. Matt. 23:15, because they are instructing that God’s people should
SUPER GLUE their posterior to a pew at the omega of apostasy new movement,
where they will remain until the next literal slaughter of Ezekiel 9.
6.
Some point to numbers and
facilities as evidence of God’s blessing: "If you lower the standard in order to secure
popularity and an increase of numbers, and then make this increase a cause of
rejoicing (celebration), you show great blindness. If numbers were an evidence of success, Satan might
claim the preeminence for, in this world, his
followers are largely in the majority... It is the virtue, intelligence, and piety of the people
composing our churches, not their numbers, that should be a source of joy and
thankfulness A correct. Counsels to Teachers, p. 94.
7.
Were they teaching
ALL THE TRUTH, that would be another matter. Because they are not, Matthew
23:15 accrues.
QUESTION: The men I have named claim to be
giving the three angel’s messages to the world. Are they giving the SECOND
ANGELS MESSAGE when they ALL advocate joining a new movement that has removed
God, and is corporately responsible for ecumenical liaison with the fallen
churches we were supposed to come out of? That is a serious question, and the
answer is a clarion NO! The members of the new movement they advocate is going
to be literally destroyed in another fulfillment of Ezekiel 9, just as the
Temple and Jerusalem were destroyed in A.D. 70. Why do they not give that
warning? Because it is not popular and conducive to raising funds.
I want to tell you a most interesting fact
relative to the last literal fulfillment of Ezekiel 9 in A.D. 70. Read Chapter
1 of The Great Controversy, which
portrays a vivid history of that holocaust, and you will find where it says
that true prophets warned the faithful Christians of when and where to flee—to
Pella in Pearea. But here is the interesting fact: No
one knows the name of the true prophets who warned the Christians. Their
identity is OBSCURE even to this day, but I was shown where they taught by
Isaiah 37:31, 32, and the Holy Spirit inspired them to tell the Christians to
flee to Pella in the land of Perea or Peraea, both spellings are
correct. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perea
The Lord clearly showed me that the following
statement applies to Walter Veith, because of the light he has. He can thus
more easily deceive and lead many astray on all of the
issues enumerated above. I was shown that some folk are worshipping at his feet
because of the knowledge he possesses, and this makes it easy for them to be
deceived.
I was shown that Mr. Veith does not
intentionally deceive, but that he holds serious erroneous views on the above
listed issues, and that because of his knowledge in other areas, folk are the
more willing to believe his errors. The very same situation occurred with Dr.
John H. Kellogg. Men as intelligent and once godly as Jones and Waggoner were
deceived by Kellogg’s erroneous views on the Godhead, because they were
impressed with his keen intelligence.
“It
is those who have had the most light that Satan seeks
the most assiduously to ensnare. He knows that if he can deceive them, they can, under his control,
clothe sin with the garments of righteousness, and lead many astray. God
grant that our teachers may see and understand this, their great danger, and
that they may recover themselves from the snare of Satan,
and put forth redoubled efforts to save others who are exposed.” {21MR 172.7}
“Unless the sacred word is appreciated, it will not
be obeyed as a sure and safe and precious text book. Every besetting sin must be put away. Warfare must
be waged against it until it is overcome. The Lord will work with your
efforts. As finite, sinful man works out his own salvation with fear and
trembling, it is God who
works in him, to will and to do of his own good pleasure. But God will not work without
the co-operation of man. He must exercise his powers to the very utmost
he must place himself as an apt, willing student in the school of Christ and as
he accepts the grace that is freely offered to him, the presence of Christ in the thought and in the
heart will give him decision of purpose to lay aside every weight of sin, that
the heart may be filled with all the fullness of God, and of his love.”
{CE 111.1}
Here is the pure truth on overcoming as far as
those who have long been privy to advanced truth are concerned. That includes
Seventh-day Adventists who have been in the truth for weeks and months:
Obedience to the
Law Our Hedge of Protection
“Jesus addressed all the people present; but the
priests and rulers answered. “He will miserably destroy those wicked men,” they
said, “and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render
him the fruits in their seasons.” The speakers had not at first perceived the
application of the parable, but they now saw that they had pronounced their own
condemnation. In the parable the householder represented God, the vineyard the
Jewish nation, and the hedge
the divine law which was their protection. The tower was a symbol of the
temple. The lord of the vineyard had done everything needful for its
prosperity. “What could have been done more to my vineyard,” he says, “that I
have not done in it?” Isaiah 5:4. Thus was represented God’s unwearied care for
Israel. And as the husbandmen were to return to the lord a due proportion of
the fruits of the vineyard, so God’s people were to honor Him by a life
corresponding to their sacred privileges. But as the husbandmen had killed the
servants whom the master sent to them for fruit, so the Jews had put to death the prophets whom God sent to
call them to repentance. Messenger after messenger had been slain. Thus
far the application of the parable could not be questioned, and in what
followed it was not less evident. In the beloved son whom the lord of the
vineyard finally sent to his
disobedient servants, and whom they seized and slew, the priests and
rulers saw a distinct picture of Jesus and His impending fate. Already they
were planning to slay Him whom the Father had sent to them as a last appeal. In
the retribution inflicted upon the ungrateful husbandmen was portrayed the doom
of those who should put Christ to death.” {DA 596.3}
“Thus saith the Lord:
Execute ye judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand
of the oppressor; and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the
fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this place. For if ye
do this thing indeed, then there shall enter in by the gates of this house
kings sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, he,
and his servants, and his people. But if ye will not hear these words, I swear
by Myself, saith the Lord, that this house shall become a desolation.” {ST
November 30, 1904, Art. A, par. 2}
These words show plainly that obedience to God’s commands is
the condition upon which His promises are fulfilled. These commands are not
grievous. God has given them for the good of His people. His law is the hedge
which He has built around His vineyard for its protection. The Lord has plainly declared
that He will abundantly bless His people if they will obey the laws of His
kingdom. It is their life to obey. In keeping God’s commandments there is great
reward. {ST November 30, 1904, Art. A, par. 3}
Testimonies Our Protection
I urged our brethren to become acquainted with the
teachings that are in the Testimonies. God has given us light that we cannot
disregard or treat with indifference or contempt. He has let light shine upon
us in reproofs, in warnings, that we may, if we will, take hold upon it and
escape the dangers that beset our pathway. When temptations arise, we may be guarded
and we may discern them because the Lord has pointed them out to us, that we
shall not be deceived.—Manuscript 23, 1889. {3SM 360.1}
The humility that bears fruit, filling the soul
with a sense of the love of God, will speak for the one who has cherished it,
in the great day when men will be rewarded according as their works have been.
Happy will be the one of whom it can be said, “The Spirit of God never stirred
this man’s soul in vain. He went forward and upward from strength to strength. Self was not woven into his
life. {3SM 360.2}
“Each message of correction, warning, and counsel
he received as a blessing from God. Thus the way was
prepared for him to receive still greater blessings, because God did not speak
to him in vain. Each step upward on the ladder of progress prepared him to
climb still higher. From the top of the ladder the bright beams of God’s glory
shone upon him. He did not think of resting, but
sought constantly to attain the wisdom and righteousness of Christ. Ever he
pressed toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ
Jesus.” {3SM 360.3}
“This experience every one
who is saved must have. In the day of judgment, the course of the man who has
retained the frailty and imperfection of humanity will not be vindicated. For
him there will be no place in heaven. He could not enjoy the perfection of the
saints in light. He who
has not sufficient faith in Christ to believe that He can keep him from
sinning, has not the faith that will give him an entrance into the kingdom of
God.”—Manuscript 161, 1897. {3SM 360.4}
“Christ came
to this earth and lived a life of perfect obedience, that men and women,
through His grace [Holy Spirit], might also live lives of PERFECT OBEDIENCE.
This is NECESSARY to their salvation. Without holiness no man shall see the
Lord.” E. G.
White, Review and Herald, Vol. 5, p. 222.
“Christ “gave himself for us, that he might redeem
us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of
good works” (Titus 2:14). He
made an offering so complete that through His grace every one
may reach the standard of perfection. Of those who receive His grace and
follow His example it will be written in the book of life, “Complete in Him—without
spot or stain.” {HP 7.4}
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ,” ... “who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly
places in Christ” (Ephesians 1:3). What is there left for us to ask, that is
not included in this merciful, abundant provision? Through the merits of Christ we are blessed with all spiritual blessings in
heavenly places in Christ. It is our privilege to draw nigh to God, to breathe
in the atmosphere of His presence.... Nothing short of abiding in the presence of Christ will
bring peace, freedom, courage, and power.” {HP 7.5}
“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye
have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my
absence, work out your own
salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to
will and to do of his good pleasure.” Philippians 2:12, 13. {OHC 91.1}
“Work out your own salvation
with fear and trembling.” What does this mean? It means that every day you are to distrust your own
human efforts and wisdom. You are to fear to speak at random, fear to follow
your own impulses, fear that pride of heart and love of the world and lust of
the flesh shall exclude the precious grace the Lord Jesus is longing to bestow
upon you. {OHC 91.2}
Man’s working, as brought out in the text, is not an independent work he
performs without God. His whole dependence is upon the power and grace of the
Divine Worker. Many miss the mark here, and claim
that man must work his own individual self, free from divine power. This is not
in accordance with the text. Another argues that man is free from all obligation, because God does it
all, both the willing and the doing. The text means that the salvation of the
human soul requires the will power to be subjected to the divine will power....
And it is the very hardest, sternest conflict which comes with the purpose and
hour of great resolve and decision of the human to incline the will and way to
God’s will and God’s way.” {OHC 91.3}
“Man is allotted a part in this great struggle for everlasting life; he
must respond to the working of the Holy Spirit.
It will require a struggle
to break through the powers of darkness, but the Spirit that works in him can
and will accomplish this. But man is no passive instrument to be saved
in indolence. He is called
upon to strain every muscle in the struggle for immortality, yet it is God that
supplies the efficiency.” {OHC 91.4}
“Here are man’s works, and here
are God’s works.... With these two combined powers, man will be victorious, and receive a crown
of life at last.... He
puts to the stretch every spiritual nerve and muscle that he may be a
successful overcomer in this work, and that he may obtain the precious boon of
eternal life.”{OHC 91.5}
“Like Israel of old the wicked
destroy themselves; they fall by their iniquity. By a life of sin, they have
placed themselves so out of harmony with God, their natures have become so
debased with evil, that the manifestation of His glory [BRIGHTNESS] is to them
a consuming fire” (The Great Controversy,
p. 37).
“It
is a fundamental of last generation theology that ultimately there must be a
completion of “the restoration of truth left incomplete by the Protestant
Reformers and early Adventist pioneers” (Canale). Adventism
has not accomplished it, and, unless Adventists get out of the rut they are in,
they will never accomplish it. This writer does not hold out hope that they
will escape. The drift has been too far, the house has been left unto them
desolate, and the structure will be blown away in the coming storm and tempest
(see Battle Creek Letters, p. 81). It is far past the day of playing church. Churchianity is dead, though it has a name of being alive,
as was the case with Sardis (Rev. 3:1), the church that became fallen Babylon
at the rejection of the first angel’s message in the mid–19th century. Modern
Laodicea is Sardis revived. Yet, there is a living church, and it is carrying
the advancing light of the loud cry of the third angel. In it there is no central
organization by any earthly administration but only a heavenly one. It is
described in Malachi 3:16–18 and maintained on an individual basis, under the
True Vine.” Those who are part of it are entering into the Philadelphian
experience at this very time.”

Regarding
Kevin’s statement that: “Modern Laodicea is Sardis revived,” the truth is that
the wise virgins of Laodicea will become the future martyrs of Sardis. The
foolish virgins do not become “saved” martyrs, which is what Sardis consisted
(consists) of.
“Where is This All Going, and Where Has the
True Church Gone?”
“Finally,
then, what is our individual responsibility in these matters? Where is the true
church and church militant when the mainstream organized religious body—the
denomination—is apostate? Will the denomination finally repent and be “fixed”?
Does this fix lie in the two main points suggested by David Dennis, former
denominational watchdog at headquarters? I am convinced change within the
church can only come from two sources: (1) lay people, through voice and
financial boycott making their concerns heard and demanding a greater level of
accountability; and (2) the political timidity, which currently frightens
church employees away from speaking out, will have to give way to an internal
revolt, demanding change.” (David Dennis to Jan Paulsen, “An Open Letter,”

What
David Dennis, a former treasurer of the General Conference, is apparently
unaware of, is the fact that the Spirit of Prophecy says that the new movement
will “allow NOTHING to stand in its way. 1SM 205.
Christ
and His followers did neither of Dennis’ proffered solutions. They came out and
separated from the prevailing iniquity, and formed Home Churches, which were
then the valid “Jerusalem,” church militant.
“Are laity
vocal protest and monetary boycott along with employee revolution even remotely
likely? Today, most of those who care about these issues are in independent
movements or home churches. These would certainly not be denominational
employees. There are members in the mainstream who are semi-aware and
concerned, but they are tied to the denomination by the purification myth and
its attending notions of unconditional election for the denomination, that the
church institution directed by the General Conference is the ‘ship that will go
through.’” Straub, Kevin. Of the Times
and Seasons (Kindle Locations 13074-13079). Aspect Books. Kindle Edition.
Walter
Veith, along with other dumb-dog watchmen (Isa. 56:10-12; 5T 211) all believe
in the denomination’s “purification myth.” And some really dumb-dog foolish
virgins who believe they know more than God and Ellen White, believe that
Ezekiel 9 will never happen to the SDA new movement. They believe that per the
spurious Will Ross statement, the church will be purified before the Loud Cry
so that it can give the Midnight Cry, when it is NOT the new movement church
that gives that cry. The 144,000 saints who are not defiled with any apostate
church long BEFORE the Midnight Cry, give that clarion call to the world. They are
prepared and ready long before the Loud Cry and God says it is
they who sound the cry. COL 405.
The
spurious Will Ross statement is totally against God and Ellen White on Ezekiel
9, and what Ellen White called a PREFIGURE, referring to the last literal
fulfillment of Ezekiel 9, which she indeed specifies to be LITERAL. In the last
literal fulfillment, God’s first “chosen” people were gathered into the midst
of their apostate Temple and Jerusalem, Ezekiel 22:17-33. So
it will be in the literal fulfillment of the antitype of Ezekiel 9.
Such
MEMBERS are not aware that Ellen White spoke of a Noble Ship that sinks to rise
no more. That imposter “ship” is the SS Laodicea, with the foolish virgins
onboard. Some will mutiny and “jump ship” before and at the next Midnight Loud
Cry which is made by the bride to ALL TEN VIRGINS, FOR THEY ALL SLUMBERED AND
SLEPT until they heard the voice of God and the voice of the bride. Matthew 24
and COL, 405.

Again,
Dennis either is ignorant of Ellen White’s statement that NOTHING will be
allowed to stand in the way of the new movement, or he does not believe her.
Likewise, he is either ignorant of or does not believe God in Ezekiel 9, and

“Surely
one must realize, having studied the four generations of the devouring pests,
that the restoration promised will be to the people of God as individuals who have
remained steadfast in the
faith once delivered to the saints and not to an organization of
conference committees. The
restoration is of those who embrace the three angel’s messages in the context
of the gospel light of 1888. These will live in the advancing light of
present truth which develops further out of the “truth as it is in Jesus,”
bringing us to deeper understanding of the glory of God, which is His
character.” Straub, Kevin. Of the Times

The
new movement has turned the 1888 message on its head, which is one of its worst
abominations!
“If
the reader is tracking closely with what is being said here, he or she will
realize that, with current events unfolding as they are and the actual state of
the denomination in the world as it is, there is no time left for the expected
denominational purification, or shaking. Purification
will indeed take place, but it will be at the level of individuals and not
institutions. This purification would be the shaking of God’s people.” Straub,

“At
this time [Sunday Law] and in the lead-up to it, even prior to the death
decree, it will certainly appear as though the church, God’s faithful remnant
who give the loud cry, is about to fall. How? Not by internal apostasy causing
great numbers of Adventists to quit membership, but by external sanctions
threatening the faithful with extinction.” Straub, Kevin. Of the Times and Seasons (Kindle Locations 13128-13131). Aspect
