The Apostate SDA Church Will not be Blotted Out

that it will not Exist

Dear Reader,

 

I am presenting to a member of my Adventist Hot Issues Forum, a response to Ellen White’s statement that the SDA church militant will not cease to exist and that it will not be broken up into atoms. The member’s family presented this statement to him when he began to be convicted that the church is no longer God’s church and what is necessary for any “church” to qualify as a church.

 

Dear Brother Paulo,

 

I believe your family picked the best of the statements the leaders use on the sheeple in an effort to convince them that no matter what apostasy the church commits, they are to remain with the church. It covers about all of the bases that we must search out and compare with the weight of evidence in order to arrive at the pure truth of the matter. In pursuit of that pure truth, I am going to labor further with the statement by Ellen White which your family chose. I am not going to leave one stone unturned regarding any implication to the statement.

 

I am not hiding anything. I am the one who highlighted the serious parts in red. I am now going to deal with some more of the important implications of the statement. I will add further insights below the statement. The principles that I will apply to the statement below will apply to all of the many E.G. White statements that the leaders misapply to make the sheeple believe that they must remain with an apostate church no matter what it does.

 

We need to study the following statement very carefully and prayerfully. We need to look for qualifying words and concepts. I am going to deal with such implications as:

 

·      What type of weed cannot grow with the wheat without killing (choking) it out.

·      Why the church was not Babylon in Ellen White's lifetime.

·      How Ellen White said the church could become part of Babylon.

·      The difference between Babylon and her daughters.

·      What is worse than Babylon?

·      When Ellen White advised remaining away from the church in the Alpha of Apostasy.

·      Does Ellen White’s Statement about the church not being broken-up into independent atoms give the church an UNCONDITIONAL approval by God to imperviously commit whatever apostasy it wishes?

·      What Ellen White would be forced to do today in order to be consistent with God's Word and her teaching concerning apostasy? Where did Ellen White draw a line in the sand? Why?

·      What commandments of God go beyond playing the harlot as ancient Israel and modern Israel have so done?

·      What it means to MARRY into Satan's confederacy.

·      What constitutes God's church?

·      When God no longer considers a professing church as a valid church.

·      Did God close the probation of some generation(s) of the world before the general close of probation in A.D. 34, at the stoning of Stephen and the end of the 70 weeks of Daniel 9:24.

·      Why Ellen White called the church a harlot at least four times but did not leave the church.

·      Why the church did not commit unpardonable apostasy in Ellen White's tenure in the church.

·      Did anyone leave apostate Israel centuries BEFORE its general close of probation in A.D. 34, and if so why?

·      Were there independent home churches BEFORE the general close of probation for Israel? Did these home churches break the true church up into independent atoms?

·      Was the SDA church broken up into independent atoms in the Kellogg Alpha Apostasy when Ellen White said to keep the youth as far away from the churches as possible?

·      Did faithful Jews leave the precincts of the Temple to worship at home centuries before the general close of probation for Israel and why? Did their action break the church up into atoms and/or make it so that it did not exist?

·      Did Jesus and the disciples leave apostate Israel BEFORE its general close of probation? If so, why?

·      Did Jesus’ gathering out of His disciples BEFORE the general close of Israel’s probation, break up the “church” into independent atoms?

·      Did the home churches established by the disciples of Christ, break up the “church” into independent atoms?

·      Did Paul break up the church into independent atoms when He left the apostate Jewish church AFTER THREE MONTHS?

·      Was the example of Christ, His disciples evidence that the same thing might occur in the SDA church?

·      Did God ever give ancient or modern spiritual Israel UNCONDITIONAL status as a “chosen people” no matter what apostasy they should imbibe?

·      Can members of the church be responsible for corporate unpardonable sin of its leaders? When and how does such a serious situation accrue?

·      Was there evidence in 1882, in Testimonies, Vol. 5, p. 207 and the remainder of the chapter, that Laodicea would ultimately fail, and if so, what is the meaning of Ellen White's statement below that there was not the least evidence that such a thing would be?

All of the above are serious issues that we must explore in-depth lest we be taken in a snare. We must consider time, place and circumstance and every implication the Holy Spirit can shed light upon. I will continue by responding to all these issues below the statement.

 

The Church Not to Be Broken Up Into Independent Atoms

 

"Again I say, The Lord hath not spoken by any messenger who calls the church that keeps the commandments of God, Babylon. True, there are tares with the wheat; but Christ said He would send His angels to first gather the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into the garner. I know that the Lord loves His church. It is not to be disorganized or broken up into independent atoms. There is not the least consistency in this; there is not the least evidence that such a thing will be. Those who shall heed this false message and try to leaven others will be deceived and prepared to receive advanced delusions, and they will come to nought.

 

There is in some of the members of the church, pride, self-sufficiency, stubborn unbelief, and a refusing to yield their ideas, although evidence may be piled upon evidence which makes the message to the Laodicean church applicable. But that will not blot out the church that it will not exist. Let both tares and wheat grow together until the harvest. Then it is the angels that do the work of separation.

 

I warn the Seventh-day Adventist Church to be careful how you receive every new notion and those who claim to have great light. The character of their work seems to be to accuse and to tear down." Selected Messages, Bk. 2, p. 68.

 

·         We have proven that the current new movement professing to be the Seventh-day Adventist church does not keep the commandments of God.

·         We have all broken the commandments of God. That is not unpardonable sin. If it were, we would all be lost. But there are more serious implications we will  explore.

·         Israel, as God's first chosen people, were promised especial blessing on CONDITION OF OBEDIENCE. So obedience is important. God said that we can know we love Him by keeping His commandments. Disobedience demonstrates a serious lack of love and faith.

·         Wheat can mature amongst the wheat, if the tares are such that they do not crowd out the wheat and kill it (in this case spiritual death).

·         God's Word says that a tare is an insincere believer whose motives we would have to judge in order to uproot the person.

·         THORNS are symbolic of open sinners and apostate doctrine. God says that thorny-ground hearers CHOKE OUT (KILL) the wheat so that it is impossible for the wheat to mature. So TARES cannot be THORNS because God says that TARES can dwell with the WHEAT until the close of probation. So what are the characteristics of a THORN that kills WHEAT and thus makes it impossible to mature? The answers to all questions posed appear below. I will take them one at a time.

 

1.    Issue #1 is: What type of weed cannot grow with the wheat without killing (choking) it out.

 

Mat 13:22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. 

 

Mar 4:19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. 

 

When we deal with Scripture, we must carefully notice every word and let it have its meaning. The surface reader would notice the words “cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches,” but he/she might be more careless in discerning “other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.” What are some of the “other things” that choke the Word making it unfruitful? Do you think God puts meaningless phrases in the Bible that we are not to understand?

 

Those words: “other things” that choke the Word mean open sins that make it impossible for the wheat to mature. Why won’t the wheat mature amongst open sin? Because the presence of Christ and His Holy Spirit leave the church when it’s leaders imbibe open sin apostasy and introduce it into the church and the Holy Spirit of Christ is the only entity that can ripen and mature the wheat for the heavenly garner of Hebrews 12:22, 23. Thus, that is one of the points at which one must leave an apostate church. He/she will not receive the Holy Spirits empowerment to ripen in such a church.

 

Forty-four men are listed as contributors to the Seventh-day Adventist Bible Commentary. Here is what they say about “other things” that choke the Word making it unfruitful:

 

"Thorns sprung up.--The thorns made it impossible for the wheat to mature (see Luke 8:14). In the same way secular interests prevent the fruits of the Spirit (Gal. 5:22, 23) from reaching maturity. Religion is relegated to the subordinate position of being only one interest among many. For lack of cultivation it withers and eventually dies. That which the thorny-ground hearers lack is a moral transformation [E.G. White, Christ's Object Lessons,  p. 50]  To them, justification is the sum and substance of religion, and they fail to realize that the Christian life consists essentially in the process known as sanctification--the process by which evil traits and tendencies are replaced by the perfect life-pattern of Jesus Christ." Seventh-day Adventist Bible Commentary, vol. 5, 405.

 

Eze 2:6 quoted:

And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns [be] with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they [be] a rebellious house.

How frequently ancient Israel rebelled, and how often were they visited with judgments, and thousands slain because they would not heed the commands of God who had chosen them. {E.G. White, RH, June 25, 1861 par. 25}

 

A large liberal segment of the church teaches that justification is the sum and substance of religion. In fact, they place such a total lack of importance on sanctification, that they have done away with the Sanctuary and Atonement Service that occurred in heaven when Christ was slain from the foundation of the world. How did this happen? In 1930, one man, Leroy Froom, brought Rome’s Central Doctrine into the church. It was later voted upon in the 1980 General Conference session. That Central Doctrine of Rome is the Trinity Doctrine. That doctrine denies the Sanctuary and the Atonement of the  Son of God in the heavenly Sanctuary, which occurred when He was slain from the foundation of the earth.

 

Rev 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. 

 

How was the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world? Ellen White tells us how. You must learn that the Sacrificial Lamb must first be offered as a sacrifice in the court of the Heavenly Sanctuary. That occurred when the Lamb was slain from the foundation of the world as surety for the race that would sin. What happened at that “slaying” at the foundation of the earth in the court of the Heavenly Sanctuary?

 

We know from the following statement that Christ’s humanity would cumber certain of His attributes such as omnipotence, omnipresence, and omniscience. We know that Ellen White said that Christ took our human nature FOREVER.

 

“Cumbered with humanity Christ could not be in every place personally, therefore it was altogether for their advantage that He should leave them to go to His Father and send the Holy Spirit to be His successor on earth. The Holy Spirit is Himself divested of the personality of humanity and independent thereof. He would represent Himself as present in all places by His Holy Spirit.” E.G. White, (Manuscript Releases Volume 14 (No’s 1081-1135) MR No.1084.

 

The Holy Spirit is the soul of the life of Christ. The Holy Spirit of Christ became divested of the personality of humanity and independent thereof at the slaying of the Son from the foundation of the earth in the heavenly Sanctuary. That had to occur before Christ came to this earth. He had to be divested of His Holy Spirit because His humanity cumbered the attributes of that Spirit. This is when the Holy Spirit became divested from the humanity of Christ’s humanity and an independent third person of the Godhead. The Lord has shown me that this is why Satan felt equal and even superior to Christ.

 

The Trinity Doctrine totally denies everything you have just read! It denies the sacrifice that occurred in the heavenly sanctuary at the foundation of the earth. How? Why? Because it teaches that the Holy Spirit was ALWAYS a separate person and that there was no sacrificial divesting from the Son of His Holy Spirit as a gift to man for his regeneration and empowerment in overcoming sin.

 

The Holy Spirit of the Son is His Divine Nature that He bequeathed to man as a gift:

 

"Christ declared that after his ascension, he would send to his church, as his crowning gift, the Comforter, who was to take his place. This Comforter is the Holy Spirit,--the soul of his life, the efficacy of his church, the light and life of the world. With his Spirit Christ sends a reconciling influence and a power that takes away sin.

In the gift of the Spirit, Jesus gave to man the highest good that heaven could bestow....

The Spirit was given as a regenerating agency, and without this the sacrifice of Christ would have been of no avail....

It is by the Spirit that the heart is made pure. Through the Spirit the believer becomes a partaker of the divine nature. Christ has given his Spirit as a divine power to overcome all hereditary and cultivated tendencies to evil, and to impress his own character upon the church." E.G. White, Review and Herald Articles, May 19, 1904, vol. 5, p. 42.

 

“They must have His grace, the Spirit of Christ, to help their infirmities, or they cannot for a Christian character. Jesus loves to have us come to Him, just as we are—sinful, helpless, dependent.” Faith and Works, p. 38.

 

     Some seem to feel that they must be on probation and must prove to the Lord that they are reformed, before they can claim His blessing. But these dear souls may claim the blessing even now. They must have His grace, the Spirit of Christ, to help their infirmities, or they cannot form a Christian character. Jesus loves to have us come to Him, just as we are--sinful, helpless, dependent. {FW 38.1}

 

“The Glory that the Father gave to Christ is given to us: “Jesus is waiting to breathe upon all his disciples, and give them the inspiration of his sanctifying spirit, and transfuse the vital influence from himself to his people . . . Christ is to live in his human agents, and work through their faculties, and act through their capabilities. Their will must be submitted to His will, they must act with His Spirit, that it may be no more they that live, but Christ that liveth in them. Jesus is seeking to impress upon them the thought that in giving His Holy Spirit He is giving to them the glory which the Father has given Him, that He and His people may be one in God.” Signs of the Times, October 3, 1892, par. 4.

 

“Christ gives them the breath of His own Spirit, the life of His own Life.” Desire of Ages, p. 827, par. 3.

 

“The Holy Spirit is the breath of life in the soul. The impartation of the Spirit is the impartation of the life of Christ. It imbues the receiver with the attributes of Christ.” Desire of Ages, p. 805.

 

“They have one God and one Saviour; and one Spirit—the Spirit of Christ—is to bring unity into their ranks.” Testimonies, Vol. 9, p. 189.

 

Holy Spirit as God: “But peter said, Ananias why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of this price of the land? While it remained, was it not thine own? And after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? Why hast thou conceived to this thing in thine heart? Thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.” Acts 5, 3, 4.

 

“From eternal ages it was God’s purpose that every created being, from the bright and holy seraph to man, should be a temple for the indwelling of the Creator.” The Desire of Ages, p. 161.

 

“The creative energy that called the worlds into existence is in the word of God. This word imparts power; it begets life. Every command is a promise; accepted by the will, received into the soul, it brings with it the life of the Infinite One. It transforms the nature and re-creates the soul in the image of God.”  Education, 126.

 

“The influence of the Holy Spirit is the life of Christ in the soul. We do not now see Christ and speak to Him, but His Holy Spirit is just as near us in one place as another. It works in and through evey one who receives Christ. Those who know the indwelling of the Spirit reveal the fruits of the Spirit, ‘love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith.’” (Bible Echo, June 17, 1901, par. 3.

 

Divested From His Estate of “DIVINE LIFE AND SOUL ONLY” to Become Combined with Humanity Forever!

 

That is a sacrifice! The Testator of the Covenant must die to something eternally in order to meet the penalty for the wages of sin and that penalty IS NOT death on a cross and three days and nights in a Tomb. That is not the penalty or the wages of sin. The penalty for sin is eternal death.

 

Hbr 9:16 For where a testament [is], there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. 

 

Hbr 9:17 For a testament [is] of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. 

 

If something about the Testator did not die eternally, then the Testament is of no force and of no strength at all! What the Son died to FOREVER, which constitutes as an ATONEMENT for Sin, is His former existence as a DIVINE ONLY BEING. The life that WAS His, He has given to us:

 

"He (Christ) suffered the death which was ours, that we might receive the life which WAS His." Desire of Ages, p. 25 1 Cor. 11:24-265, cf. John 6:53, 54, Titus 3:5, 6.

 

The life that WAS His, is His Divine Nature Holy Spirit, that He bequeathed to us at His Incarnation, which began from His being slain from the foundation of the earth.

 

Did the Holy Spirit always exist? Of course it did because God is a Spirit and there is ONE, “THE” ETERNAL SPIRIT.

 

Hbr 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? 

 

“THE” means ONE. That is what makes ONE GOD—THE ETERNAL SPIRIT. So the Holy Spirit was ONE WITH THE ETERNAL SPIRIT and always existed. Were there three eternal dignitaries as Ellen White says? Of course! The Father is eternal. The Son is eternal. And the Son’s divested Holy Spirit is eternal? Are they all eternal dignitaries? Yes indeed! But one has to learn to think out of the proverbial box!

 

"The apostle would call our attention from ourselves to the Author of our salvation. He presents before us His two natures, divine and human. . . . He voluntarily assumed human nature. It was His own act, and by His own consent. He clothed His divinity with humanity. He was all the while as God, but He did not appear as God. He veiled the demonstrations of Deity which had commanded the homage, and called forth the admiration of the universe of God. He was God while upon earth, but He divested Himself of the form of God, and in its stead took the form and fashion of a man. He walked the earth as a man. For our sakes He became poor, that we through His poverty might be made rich. He laid aside His glory and His majesty. He was God, but the glories of the form of God He for awhile relinquished. . . . He bore the sins of the world, and endured the penalty which rolled like a mountain upon His divine soul. He yielded up His life a sacrifice, that man should not eternally die. He died, not through being compelled to die, but by His own free will." E.G. White, SDA Bible Commentary, Vol. 7a, p. 446.

 

... The Lord will not write as wise those who cannot distinguish between a tree that bears thorn-berries and a tree that bears olives. {EGW, RH, September 7, 1897 par. 15} James F.

 

"It is IMPOSSIBLE for you to unite with those who are corrupt, and still remain pure. (II Corinthians 6:14-15 quoted). God and Christ and the heavenly host would have men know that if he unites with the corrupt he will become corrupt." E. G. White, Review and Herald, Vol. 4, p. 137.

 

Are some lights coming on for you brother Paulo, and some of you other readers? The most corrupt thing the professing SDA church could do is adopt what Rome brags to be its Central Doctrine, The Trinity Doctrine, which denies the highest good sacrificial gift that heaven could bestow, by teaching that there was no such sacrifice of the Son of God and His Holy Spirit—that the Holy Spirit lived as a separate, divested, distinct person ETERNALLY. Thus, no heavenly Sacrifice in the Heavenly Sanctuary from the foundation of the earth! And if there was not heavenly Sacrifice in the Heavenly Sanctuary FIRST, there could be no earthly Atonement. So the Sanctuary and the Atonement are rendered GONE by the Trinity Doctrine.

 

The very provision for man’s generation and overcoming sin is denied by Rome in its denial of the sacrifice that provided that “highest good” gift that heaven can bestow.

 

The SDA Church Became a New Movement in 1930 when it Replaced the Holy Spirit Life and Soul of Christ with the Trinity Doctrine—God was Thus Removed

 

Ellen White said that after her death great changes would be made. She said that the omega heresy would soon follow after the Alpha. Just fifteen years after her death in 1915, the Central Heresy of Rome was smuggled into the church by one man, Leroy Froom. That is when the General Conference ceased to be the Voice of God to the church, because Ellen White clearly stated that when one man or a small group of men controls things, the GC is no longer the Voice of God.

 

"Worldly policy is taking the place of true piety and wisdom that comes from above, and God will remove His prospering hand from the conference. Shall the ark of the covenant be removed from this people? Shall idols be smuggled in? Shall false principles and false precepts be brought into the sanctuary? Shall antichrist be respected? Shall the true doctrines and principles given us of God, which have made us what we are, be ignored?.... This is directly where the enemy, through blinded, unconsecrated men, is leading us." E. G. White, Manuscript 29, 1890.

 

Notice: Did Ellen White say that God MIGHT remove His prospering hand from the conference? Nay! She said God WILL remove His prospering had from the conference! In 1930, the Central Doctrine of Rome, The Trinity Doctrine, was smuggled into the church. That doctrine is the most heretical doctrine in the world, because it denies the “highest good, crowning gift that heaven could bestow.”

 

Where am I going with all this? What is the all consuming implication?!

 

Brother Paulo understands and believes Ellen White’s definition of the Holy Spirit. What Brother Paulo and his family might not understand is the huge implication of believing Ellen White’s definition of the Holy Spirit! Here is where I am going with all of this Brother Paulo:

 

·       If you believe Ellen White definition of the Holy Spirit, you must then realize and confess that the professing SDA church has committed one of the worst sins against the Holy Spirit possible by accepting the Trinity doctrine that denies the “highest good” sacrificial gift that heaven could bestow—the Divine Nature of Christ’s Holy Spirit for regeneration and overcoming all sin. Nothing could speak more AGAINST the Holy Spirit than to embrace a doctrine that denies the sacrifice that made such a provision possible for sinful man! We are talking THE SANCTUARY, THE ATONEMENT IN THE HEAVENLY SANCTUARY! RENDERED GONE by the SDA new movement apostate church!

·       Sanctuary Gone Atonement Gone -- "In a representation which passed before me, I saw a certain work being done by medical missionary workers. Our ministering brethren were looking on, watching what was being done, but they did not seem to understand. The foundation of our faith, which was established by so much prayer, such earnest searching of the Scriptures, was being taken down, pillar by pillar. Our faith was to have nothing to rest upon--the sanctuary was gone, the atonement was gone." E.G. White, The Upward Look, 152.

·       If the Sanctuary is GONE, and thus the Atonement is GONE, because the Trinity Doctrine denies such ever took place in the heavenly Sanctuary—by teaching that the Holy Spirit was never divested from the humanity of Christ to become a third person—that the Holy Spirit always existed as a third person—then there could be no worse heresy! No worse Omega heresy! No worse Omega Apostasy!

·       Thus, the entire Christian economy is dispensed of by the Trinity Doctrine! No Santuary Service of the Atonement in Heaven! Therefore, no valid Atonement on earth! It must occur first in Heaven, the pattern for the earthly Service.

·       If you accept the truth about the identity of the Holy Spirit and the highest good sacrifice heaven can bestow, then you must concur that any denial of that truth is the highest betrayal, the highest heresy, the highest apostasy!

·       If such a THORN makes it impossible for the wheat to mature, how could you and/or your family mature in such an environment?

·       How could one have the fruits of the Spirit by denying such truth about the Spirit?

·       How could a church that embraces the Trinity Doctrine have a moral transformation? When it denies the very means by which such a moral transformation is empowered?

I repeat for emphasis: No greater THORN could spring up than a heresy that would prevent the wheat from maturing in the church! The very means for maturing is a proper concept of the Holy Spirit from whence one derives the empowerment to overcome and be regenerated.

 

How could you or your family mature in such a church? God says it is impossible? What could be more corrupt than Rome’s Trinity Doctrine? What could be more heretical? What could be more on an omega of apostasy than to deny the highest good gift every proffered to humankind?

 

I repeat again: There could be no greater CORRUPT OPEN SIN HERESY in the Catholic Church, the Adventist Church, or any church, that the Trinity Doctrine. If God says that it is IMPOSSIBLE to remain pure and/or mature to purity while united to the corrupt, what option is there but to separate from the corrupt?

 

    “What are you doing, brethren, in the great work of preparation? Those who are uniting with the world are receiving the worldly mold and preparing for the mark of the beast. Those who are distrustful of self, who are humbling themselves before God and purifying their souls by obeying the truth these are receiving the heavenly mold and preparing for the seal of God in their foreheads. When the decree goes forth and the stamp is impressed, their character will remain pure and spotless for eternity.” {5T 216.1}

 

     “Now is the time to prepare. The seal of God will never be placed upon the forehead of an impure man or woman. It will never be placed upon the forehead of the ambitious, world-loving man or woman. It will never be placed upon the forehead of men or women of false tongues or deceitful hearts. All who receive the seal must be without spot before God--candidates for heaven. Go forward, my brethren and sisters. I can only write briefly upon these points at this time, merely calling your attention to the necessity of preparation. Search the Scriptures for yourselves, that you may understand the fearful solemnity of the present hour.” {5T 216.2}

 

"You are exhorted to touch not the unclean thing; for in touching this, you will yourself become unclean. It is impossible for you to unite with those who are corrupt, and still remain pure. ‘What fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? and what concord hath Christ with Belial?’ [2 Corinthians 6:14-15] God and Christ and the heavenly host would have man know that if he unites with the corrupt, he will become corrupt." "Christ has plainly taught that those who persist in open sin must be separated from the church..." E. G. White,  Christ's Object Lessons, 71.

 

What if the church will NEVER AGAIN show the House of Jacob its sins, let alone separate from it those who persist in OPEN SIN?

 

"The tares and the wheat are to grow together until the harvest and the harvest is THE END OF PROBATIONARY TIME." Christ's Object Lessons, p. 72.

 

If tares are OPEN SINNERS, then God and Ellen White both would contradict themselves by saying it is impossible to unite with the corrupt and remain pure and/or become mature (pure) in character. Tares are not open sinners. They are insincere believers whose motives we would have to judge in order to uproot them. COL, 72.

 

If OPEN, APOSTATE sinners are the same as tares, then we would have no basis for coming out of fallen Rome. We should dwell there with the tares! Also, it would be possible for the wheat to unite with the corrupt and remain/become pure.

 

When the church will NEVER AGAIN show the House of Jacob its sins, then we must separate when the church embraces heresy that prevents the wheat from maturing. The SDA church has committed that heresy in adopting the Trinity Doctrine of Rome. Why did Ellen White not leave when she said that the leaders would NEVER AGAIN show the House of Jacob its sins? Because the church had not yet adopted an abominable corrupt heresy that would prevent the wheat from maturing within its borders. That is God’s line in the sand. He said it, NOT I.

 

In part III, we will discuss Ellen White’s response to the Alpha of Apostasy, before it was nipped in the bud.

By our willing choice to remain associated with, or by retaining our membership in, the corrupt, apostate, SDA church, that has adopted Babylon’s CENTRAL DOCTRINE, we are made partakers in the sins of the church--being made corporately responsible in all the church's wickedness. Thus we are one with this unclean woman in harlotry, and we will receive the same punishment as the SDA church does!

 

 "The plain straight testimony must live in the church, or the curse of God will rest upon His people as surely as it did upon ancient Israel because of their sins. God holds His people, as a body [corporately], responsible for the sins existing in individuals among them." Testimonies, vol. 3, p. 269.
