The
Principle of Regeneration as it Relates to the Resurrection of the Body From Ellen G. White
Mat 19:28 And Jesus
said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which
have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man
shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones,
judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Tit 3:5 Not by works
of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by
the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
The Lord
has instructed me to further elucidate on the Principle of the Resurrection and
the Principle of Regeneration that Ellen White spoke of in the statement below:
“The human agent
plants the seed, and God waters it and causes His sun to shine upon it, and up
springs the tiny blade. Here is the lesson God gives to us
concerning the resurrection of the body, and the renewing of the heart. We are to
learn of spiritual things from the development of the earthly.” {TM 242.2}

1.new birth, reproduction, renewal, recreation,
regeneration
1.hence
renovation, regeneration, the production of a new life consecrated to God, a
radical change of mind for the better. The word often used to denote the
restoration of a thing to its pristine state, its renovation, as a renewal or restoration
of life after death
2.the
renovation of the earth after the deluge
3.the
renewal of the world to take place after its destruction by fire, as the Stoics
taught
4.the
signal and glorious change of all things (in heaven and earth) for the better,
that restoration of the primal and perfect condition of things which existed
before the fall of our first parents, which the Jews looked for in connection
with the advent of the Messiah, and which Christians expected in connection
with the visible return of Jesus from heaven.
Regeneration as it has to do with JUDGMENT: Mat 19:28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the
Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve
thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
·
A LESSON God gives is a PRINCIPLE—Thus the
Regeneration/Resurrection Principle. Regeneration is the same thing as the
RENEWING of the heart, but in order to renew or regenerate the heart, one must
first be manifest in a body. To be resurrected one must first be REGENERATED in
a body. Resurrection is REGENERATION, for Jesus said in the REGENERATION (AFTER
THE RESURRECTION)
·
What is meant by the Principle of the
Resurrection of the body? It is Regeneration of humans via the planting of the
human seed into the womb? Just what the above quote says. That is the only way
planting of seed could be “the lesson God gives to us concerning the
resurrection of the body.”
·
What is the purpose(s) of Regeneration? The
purposes are as follows:
1. A real, LIVE, INVESTIGATIVE
JUDGMENT--to prove before the universe the character of all who are saved and/or
lost. This is not a second chance except for all who lived BEFORE the
Incarnation, for they did not have the gift of the Holy Spirit soul of the life
of Christ—His Divine Nature, which was made efficacious to us by the
Incarnation. Folk merely play out the character they developed or not in their
first life.
2. To test all
who are saved according to Satan’s highest development of temptations at the
end-time, so that Satan cannot say that he was denied the right to use these
temptations to test folk who lived before he designed his greatest ability to
deceive—HIS FINAL DECEPTIVE TEMPTATIONS.
3. To
demonstrate that the Bride of Christ can be WITHOUT FAULT under the highest
development of Satan’s ability to deceive.
4. To expose
the bride and Christ via His bride, in whom He abides and dwells, to every
temptation Satan will have ever invented to deceive man and Christ. The bride
has the mind of Christ because He indwells her. Because she is His body, and has
His mind in her, He is tested as well. But of course we know that He passed
every test IN PRINCIPLE, that Satan could ever devise. But he did not literally
experience every test we do because some of the temptations we experience did
not exist in His day. But Christ will experience and rebuke all the devices
Satan can invent, through His bride, in whom He abides, thus LITERALLY
fulfilling the Scripture that He is tempted in ALL POINTS such as we are.
5. To satisfy
the claims of Scripture and Ellen White such as:
(a)
That the Philadelphians of the first
century would be kept through the time of trouble that comes upon the whole
world, and that they will be made pillars (leaders) in the Temple on Mt. Zion
in heaven. Revelation 3:10-12. Just settle your mind that if Regeneration is
not true, the Bible would err on this point. But we know the Bible is the sure
Word of Prophecy.
(b) Ellen White
said that only the 144,000 who are translated without seeing death would enter
that Temple. Regeneration solves this problem.
(c)
Ellen White told members attending a
conference in 1856, that some of them would be food for worms and some would be
alive and remain until Jesus comes. That would make them one of the 144,000 for
only they survive to be translated without
seeing death.
·
Most understand the meaning of regeneration
as it relates to the renewing of the heart, but the majority are totally
ignorant concerning the meaning of regeneration as it relates to the literal
resurrection of the body.
·
The connection between the human agent planting
the seed of life and the resurrection of the body are directly related to the
principle of regeneration.
·
What does the human agent planting the seed
have to do with the resurrection of the body? Humans are regenerated and
resurrected by the planting of the human seed for the Investigative Judgment.
·
In the case of the lesson of the
resurrection, how could the lesson God gives us concerning the resurrection of
the body be other than the planting of human seed within the human womb to
regenerate the body and character of one having lived before, to demonstrate
his/her character during the Investigative judgment, especially when the
144,000 are translated without seeing death, SO WILL NOT NEED TO BE RESURRECTED FROM THE EARTH?
In other words, the 144,000 ARE NOT resurrected from the
ground. They are resurrected by the Principle of Regeneration—the planting of
the human seed within a human womb. This is the only way a human planting seed
could be the Lesson of God concerning the RESURRECTION OF THE BODY. And this is
the only way folk from the first Philadelphian church, circa THE FIRST CENTURY
(Rev. 3:10-12) could be kept through the time of Trouble while at the same time
going through it—Revelation 7. This is the only way the disciples, who are
referred to as Christ’s bride in Desire
of Ages, 179, could be part of the 144,000 who enter the Temple on Mt.
Zion, when Ellen White says that only the 144,000 who are translated without
seeing death enter that temple. If interpreted so all other relative factors don’t
contradict, this would have to mean they don’t see death after being
Regenerated. But they still die only once! The Principle of
Regeneration as relative to The Principle of the Resurrection apply to the
general multitude as well as the 144,000, but I have used the 144,000 as an
example because they don’t require RESURRECTION, but they serve in the Temple
as Philadelphians, and Philadelphians from the first century are made pillars
[LEADERS] in that Temple. Rev. 3:10-12.
·
Will Christ have to tell His disciples that
they cannot serve in the Temple in heaven because they were born in the wrong
generation? Nay!
·
Remember, in light of Revelation 3:10-12,
Ellen White says that only the 144,000 who are translated without seeing death,
enter the Temple on Mt. Zion.
·
The 144,000 is comprised of the bride
(Philadelphians who are faultless) from every generation. But for this to be
so, the Philadelphians of past generations must be Regenerated according the
Principle of Regeneration—the Resurrection Principle of the body resulting from
the planting of the human seed in the womb.
·
The bride (Philadelphians) from past
generations could not just be resurrected at the end-time, because Revelation 7
says that they go through the time of trouble, and there is no resurrection
that occurs before the time of trouble, except the resurrection according to
the Regeneration Principle.
·
The Lord has shown me that it is appointed
for man once to die NATURALLY, before the Judgment. But the wicked die twice.
Once after the Investigative Judgment—or after they fulfill the purpose of the
Investigative Judgment, and again at the second death after the Millennium.
They arise after the Millennium and are consigned to eternal death after they
try to destroy the New Jerusalem. The Lord has shown me that the SECOND DEATH, refers not to natural death of the wicked before and/or
after the Investigative Judgment objective is fulliflled,
but rather to death due to destruction—which occurs both at the coming of
Christ (the wicked are destroyed by the brightness of His coming), and then
they are raised and destroyed again after the Millennium.
·
To demonstrate there are exceptions to the
number of deaths one dies, consider that those who pierced Christ are raised to
see His second coming. So they first died sometime after they pierced Him, then
they die after they are raised to see His second coming, and then they die a
THIRD TIME at the end of the Millennium.
·
Better pray in your quiet place three times
daily until you die or Jesus comes before you reject this inspiring and vital
advanced truth for God’s people, which answers to many “apparent”
contradictions in the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy, thus engendering faith.
·
The
Regeneration Principle as applied to the Son of God: The Holy Ghost
planted the seed in Mary’s womb and a body was prepared for the Son of God come
in the flesh. Then Christ died, and His resurrection was the firstfruits of the
dead. The bride, His church, is the second, third, fourth, etc., etc. fruits of
the dead.
·
1Co 15:20
But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that
slept.
Christ can also
raise humans directly from the grave. At Christ’s resurrection from His death
on earth, saints arose from their graves and went into the holy city,
Jerusalem, and appeared unto many to witness to them. In light of this
occurrence, one should not think of regeneration as strange. The very fact that
Satan has a counterfeit for regeneration which is reincarnation, should be a
high proof of regeneration for the simple fact that Satan has a counterfeit for
every important thing God does, and proving the fidelity of His bride
against Satan’s state of the art deceptions is highly important to the Great
Controversy theme.
Mat 27:51
And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to
the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
Mat 27:52
And the graves were
opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
Mat 27:53
And came out of the
graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto
many.
