that Shepherd's Rod believers teach that the messengers (the Rod as the

Is this why David Koresh was storing-up all
the munitions he had?! But the above article is even taught by the
Davidians (Shepherd’s Rod), not the Branch Davidians who are an off-shoot
of the Davidian Shepherd’s Rod.

that Ezekiel 9 has never been fulfilled before because there was never a
sealing before the final sealing of Revelation. That is
total error because the disciples and all true Christians (followers of
Christ and His disciples) were sealed on the typical Day of Pentecost.
A perfect
description of the fulfillment of Ezekiel 9 occurred in A.D. 70 at the
destruction of Jerusalem, as described in The Great Controversy,
Chapter 1. On page 25 of that chapter Ellen White said that destruction
prefigured two events: 1. The destruction of Jerusalem and the temple
which occurred in A.D. 70, and which indeed the entire chapter describes
in much detail, and 2. The destruction of the world at the end-time. If
the A.D. 70 event was a prefigure of the end and the end involves a
sealing, then the TYPE also had of necessity to involve a sealing that
that sealing took place on the typical (type) Day of Pentecost.
We know
that the end-time destruction BEGINS at His Sanctuary,
"Jerusalem," modern-day spiritual Israel, the professing
SDA church. Testimonies, Vol. 5, 211. Every true Christian fled in
A.D. 66 and was spared. To say that those Christians were not sealed
because there is only a sealing at the very end-time is total cacophony!
Also, the
Rod believes that only the 144,000 in the SDA church (the Rod members
there) will be saved. That is totally errant as well, because in COL
405-6, the voice of the bride, the 144,000 awakens all ten virgins, for
Matthew 25 says they all slept. The bride is not the guests and the
guests are not the bride, GC, 426-7. So the bride awakens the guests, 5
of which represent the wise virgins and they are saved out of all fallen
churches including the professing SDA church.
The Rod
believes that they are the only ones who know anything about the 144,000
and Asyria Falls recently told me that my knowledge of the 144,000 is an
embarrassment to me. If you don't agree with them, you are an
embarrassment to the truth! This is like Eugene Schubert saying that I
know nothing of the three angel's messages, when I, among few, have
understood the relation between the three angel's messages, the Midnight
Cry and the first and second Angel's messages as they relate to
the ecumenical movement:
"The peculiar
work of the third angel has not been seen in its importance. God meant
that His people should be far in advance of the position which they
occupy today. But now, when the time has come for them to spring into
action, they have the preparation to make. When the National Reformers [the title of the
ecumenical movement before it became the Federal Council of Churches in
1908, and then the World Council of Churches, in 1948] began to urge
measures to restrict religious liberty, our leading men should have been
alive to the situation and should have labored earnestly to counteract
these efforts. It is not in the order of God that light has been kept
from our people--the very present truth which they needed for this time.
Not all our ministers who are giving the third angel's message really understand
what constitutes that message. The National Reform [Ecumenical] movement
has been regarded by some as of so little importance that they have not
thought it necessary to give much attention to it and have even felt that
in so doing they would be giving time to questions distinct from the
third angel's message [the Everlasting Gospel of Revelation 14]. May the
Lord forgive our brethren for thus interpreting the very message for
this time." E.G. White, Testimonies, Vol. 5, 714, 715.
You
should save this reference for future proof that indeed the Rod teaches
that it does the slaughtering!
As in the
Ezekiel 9 type of A.D. 70, it will be the Babylonians (led by Rome and
Satan’s entire Confederacy) who do the slaughtering of Ezekiel 9. The
faithful Jews (Christian) did not do the slaughtering in the type and
they don’t do it in the antitypical literal fulfillment of Ezekiel 9.
"Study the 9th chapter of
Ezekiel. These words will be literally fulfilled yet the time is passing,
and the people are asleep. They refuse to humble their souls and to be
converted. Not a great while longer will the Lord bear with the people
who have such great and important truths revealed to them, but who refuse
to bring these truths into their individual experience. The time is
short. God is calling will YOU hear? Will YOU receive His message? Will
YOU be converted before it is too late? Soon, very soon, every case will
be decided for eternity. Letter 106, 1909, pp. 2, 3, 5, 7. (To "The

"Here we see that the church--the
Lord's sanctuary--was the first to feel the stroke of the wrath of
God. The ancient men, those to whom God had given great light and who had stood as guardians of the
spiritual interests of the people, had betrayed their trust. They had
taken the position that we need not look for miracles and the marked
manifestation of God's power as in former days. Times have changed. These
words strengthen their unbelief,
and they say: The Lord will not do good, neither will He do evil. He is
too merciful to visit His people in judgment. Thus 'Peace and safety’ is the cry from men who will never again lift up their voice
like a trumpet to show God's
people their transgressions and the house of Jacob their sins. These dumb dogs that
would not bark are the ones who feel the just vengeance of an offended

scenes will be enacted that few realize. God's people will be proved and

serveth Him not.' Vengeance will be executed against those who sit in the

indwelling the soul--rb].

to enter in themselves, and those who would enter in they hinder. These
bear not the seal of the living God. All who now occupy responsible

As far as I
know, “the very courts of the temple” are not in Babylon!
Literal – To the very letter
“The Lord reads the heart as an
open book. The men who are not connected with God have done many things
after the imagination of their own evil hearts. The Lord declares
concerning them, "They have turned unto Me their back, and not the
face, though I taught them, rising up early and teaching them; yet they
have not hearkened to receive instruction." We are amid the perils
of the last days, the time will soon come when the prophecy of Ezekiel 9 will be fulfilled; that
prophecy should be carefully studied, for it will be fulfilled to the very letter. Study also the tenth chapter which represents the hand of God as at work to
bring perfect method and harmonious working into all the operations of
his prepared instrumentalities. The eleventh and twelfth chapters also
should receive critical, thoughtful attention. Let these prophecies be studied on your knees
before God; unless you take up the stumbling-blocks which by your own
perverse spirit you have laid in the way of many who have been connected
with you, God will turn His face utterly from you and your
