Is Silence Golden on the Study of the Godhead?

The nature of the Holy Spirit is a mystery. Men cannot explain it, because the Lord has not revealed it to them. Men having fanciful views may bring together passages of Scripture and put a human construction on them; but the acceptance of these views will not strengthen the church. Regarding such mysteries, which are too deep for human understanding, silence is golden. {FLB 54.5}

Men who have not spiritual discernment to understand the Godhead, are using the following statement as an excuse for not studying out what the Spirit of Prophecy and the Bible teach about the Godhead.

Ellen White said that the Godhead, the personality of God and Christ is a pillar, landmark doctrine. How could that subject be a PILLAR, LANDMARK DOCTRINE, and we are not even to discuss it? What is the context of Ellen White's statement that we are not to debate the personality of God? What is the little known weight of evidence on this issue?

Is it not strange that there are those who try to BRING IN theories that would remove the pillars of our faith concerning the Sanctuary and/or concerning THE PERSONALITY OF GOD OR CHRIST, but we are to know nothing about the personality of God and Christ, and cannot discuss it? Does that make sense?

Godhead as a pillar doctrine -- Personality of God and of Christ Landmarks: "Those who seek to remove the old landmarks are not holding fast they are not remembering how they have received and heard. Those who try to bring in theories that would remove the pillars of our faith concerning the sanctuary or concerning the personality of God or of Christ, are working as blind men. They are seeking to bring in uncertainties and to set the people of God adrift without an anchor." {MR760 9.5}

In this document we will prove that the nature of the Holy Spirit is far different than WHO the Holy Spirit is and when and how He became a third person to the Godhead, keeping in mind that the Holy Spirit always existed from eternity as the ONE ETERNAL SPIRIT.

God is a Spirit and There is One Spirit

It is evident from the following evidence that God is a spirit and that there is only ONE Spirit and that one spirit makes all three persons to the Godhead ONE GOD.

Hbr 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Jhn 4:24 God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth.

1Cr 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether [we be] Jews or Gentiles, whether [we be] bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

·

Eph 2:18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

“They have one God and one Saviour; and one Spiritthe Spirit of Christ Testimonies, Vol. 9, p. 189.

“Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is; there is Liberty.” (2 Cor. 3:17)

“For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself.” John 5:26.

"He (Christ) suffered the death which was ours, that we might receive the life which WAS His." Desire of Ages, p. 25 1 Cor. 11:24-265, cf. John 6:53, 54, Titus 3:5, 6.

“Christ gives them the breath of His own Spirit, the life of His own Life.” Desire of Ages, p. 827, par. 3.

“The Holy Spirit is the breath of life in the soul. The impartation of the Spirit is the impartation of the life of Christ. It imbues the receiver with the attributes of Christ.” Desire of Ages, p. 805.

“In giving us His word, God has put us in possession of every truth essential for our salvation. Thousands have drawn water from these wells of life, yet there is no diminishing of the supply. Thousands have set the Lord before them, and by beholding have been changed into the same image. Their spirit burns within them as they speak of His character, telling what Christ is to them, and what they are to Christ. But these searchers have not exhausted these grand and holy themes. Thousands more may engage in the work of searching out the mysteries of salvation. As the life of Christ and the character of His mission are dwelt upon, rays of light will shine forth more distinctly at every attempt to discover truth. Each fresh search will reveal something more deeply interesting than has yet been unfolded. The subject is inexhaustible. The study of the incarnation of Christ, His atoning sacrifice and mediatorial work, will employ the mind of the diligent student as long as time shall last; and looking to heaven with its unnumbered years he will exclaim, “Great is the mystery of godliness.” {COL 133.4}

“In eternity we shall learn that which, had we received the enlightenment it was possible to obtain here, would have opened our understanding. The themes of redemption will employ the hearts and minds and tongues of the redeemed through the everlasting ages. They will understand the truths which Christ longed to open to His disciples, but which they did not have faith to grasp. Forever and forever new views of the perfection and glory of Christ will appear. Through endless ages will the faithful Householder bring forth from His treasure things new and old.”  {COL 134.1}

Ellen White to Kellogg in the Alpha

"You are not definitely clear on the personality of God, which is everything to us as a people. You have virtually destroyed the Lord God Himself." EGW letter 300 1903.

Did you get that? THE PERSONALITY OF GOD IS VERYTHING TO US AS A PEOPLE, yet some men like Nicholas Petula, Robert Sessler, Bryan Bissell, and Laval Picard, are teaching that it is a mystery upon which silence is golden! They are making the foolish error of confounding the nature of the Holy Spirit with the personality of God. We can know much about the personality of God from the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy. We know that God is love. We know that His law is a transcript of His character of self-sacrificing love. We know that He is subject to what He requires of man. We know His history of dealing with man since the creation of man. We know that He is a just God and that His history of dealing with the Jews and Satan reveals much about His personality.

Ellen White warned not to get into debate with Kellogg on the issue of the Godhead and the personality of God, because he was so cunning and deceptive. She said she could not safely get into a discussion with him because he was so devious of mind and would confuse things so badly. Thus her statement that silence on the issue was golden when it came to debating or discussing it with Kellogg! These other statements condoning the study and how we might profit from it totally contradict the position of those who don't want to know the truth on the issue and are disobedient apostates who cannot understand it (spiritually discern it).

Remember, that in the Alpha, the MINISTERING BRETHREN (NO LESS) were looking on but could not understand what Kellogg's theories resulted in--the doing away with the Sanctuary/Atonement.

Sanctuary Gone Atonement Gone -- "In a representation which passed before me, I saw a certain work being done by medical missionary workers. Our ministering brethren were looking on, watching what was being done, but they did not seem to understand. The foundation of our faith, which was established by so much prayer, such earnest searching of the Scriptures, was being taken down, pillar by pillar. Our faith was to have nothing to rest upon--the sanctuary was gone, the atonement was gone." E.G. White, The Upward Look, 152.

The ministering brethren today don’t understand how and why the Trinity Doctrine renders the Sanctuary/Atonement GONE, by negating the prescribed limits of a sacrifice—Death of the Testator to something eternally. The Trinity Doctrine totally negates this crowning sacrifice by teaching there was always a third person in heaven. That is a lie. Before the Incarnation, The Father and the Son were the only persons and the Father said to His Son, Let us make man in our image. There was no mention of a third person. Their spirit was the ONE ETERNAL HOLY SPIRIT, but there was no third person involved until the Son divested His Holy Spirit Divine Nature from His humanity at His Incarnation. Then that Holy Spirit became the Holy Ghost, first mentioned in the Matthew because the Holy Ghost did not exist as the ghost of the Son until the Incarnation.

Mat 1:18    Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

QUESTION FOR BRYAN AND THE DUMB-DOG WATCHMEN who are ring leaders IN THE OMEGA: I'm going to ask Bryan Bissell, Laval Picard, Nic Petula, Robert Sessler, and all the kings men TODAY, to explain to us how and why Kellogg's pantheism did away with the SANCTUARY AND THE ATONEMENT--RENDERED THEM AS GONE. I know how and why? Do these men who claim to be enlightened teachers of God’s people? Have they learned anything since the Alpha of Apostasy?

We can know what Ellen White and the Bible tell us of the personality of God. The context of Ellen White's statement saying we should not debate the nature of the Holy Spirit, is involved with THE KELLOGG ALPHA OF APOSTASY.

"No one can search the Scriptures in the spirit of Christ without being rewarded. When man is willing to be instructed as a little child, when he submits wholly to God, he will find the truth in His word. If men would be obedient, they would understand the plan of God's government. The heavenly world would open its chambers of grace and glory for exploration. Human beings would be altogether different from what they now are, for by exploring the mines of truth men would be ennobled.  The mystery of redemption, THE INCARNATION OF CHRIST, His ATONING SACRIFICE, would not be as they are now, vague in our minds. They would be not only better understood, but altogether more highly appreciated."  E.G. White, Christ's Object Lessons, p. 114. Vol. 7a, p. 441.

"The Bible is a treasure house of knowledge, and all who make this book their study, sinking the shaft deep into the mine of truth, will exclaim, 'I behold wondrous things out of thy word.' The INCARNATION of Christ is but dimly appreciated by many students who have studied long in our schools. This subject should be and will be better understood by all who in truth love Truth, and walk in the way of the Lord. The experimental knowledge of this is as essential to sanctify daily as to redeem." E.G. White, The Advocate, 05-01-99, pr. 03.

Obviously, the disobedient apostates will not be opened to the mystery of THE INCARNATION OF CHRIST, that would be and SHOULD BE not only better understood, but altogether more highly appreciated!  Does this sound like the subject of the Incarnation is FORBIDDEN GROUND? NOT TO THIS WRITER! By obedience and exploring of the mines of truth involved with the Incarnation, men would be ennobled rather than bigoted, narrow-minded foolish virgins who think they know it all already without such obedience and study.

Incarnation --Satan would Mystify: "This is a great mystery, a mystery that will not be fully, completely understood in all its greatness until the translation of the redeemed shall take place. Then the power and greatness and efficacy of the gift of God to man will be understood. But the enemy is determined that this gift shall be so mystified that it will become as nothingness." E.G. White, SDA Bible Commentary, Vol. 7A, p. 444.

"As the worker studies the life of Christ, and the character of His mission is dwelt upon, each fresh search will reveal something more deeply interesting than has yet been unfolded. The subject is inexhaustible. The study of the incarnation of Christ, His atoning sacrifice and mediatorial work, will employ the mind of the diligent student as long as time shall last." Gospel Workers, p. 251. SDA Bible Commentary, Vol. 7a, p. 444.

Amazing! Each fresh search on the life of Christ and the character of His mission, THE STUDY OF THE INCARNATION OF CHRIST, HIS ATONING SACRIFICE AND MEDIATORIAL WORK, WILL EMPLOY THE MIND OF THE DILIGENT STUDENT AS LONG AS TIME SHALL LAST!

"That God should thus be manifest in the flesh is indeed a mystery and without the help of the holy spirit we cannot hope to comprehend this subject. The most humbling lesson that man has to learn is the nothingness of human wisdom, and the folly of trying, by his own unaided efforts, to find out God." E.G. White, SDA Bible Commentary, 7a, p. 444. Review and Herald Articles, April 5, 1906.

The direct implication is that with the help of the Holy Spirit, we can hope to comprehend new degrees of knowledge on this subject which will employ the mind of the diligent student as long as time shall last. What good would it do to not be able to understand and discuss a PILLAR, LANDMARK DOCTRINE?

A Mysterious and Tender Presence OR WHY IT DOES NO GOOD TO DISCUSS OR DEBATE THE PERSONALITY OF GOD OR CHRIST WITH THE UNREGENERATE

“The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.” John 3:8. {FLB 54.1}

“The greatness of God is to us incomprehensible. "The Lord's throne is in heaven" (Ps. 11:4); yet by His Spirit He is everywhere present. He has an intimate knowledge of, and a personal interest in, all the works of His hand. . . .” {FLB 54.2}

“It was the Maker of all things . . . who created the human soul, with its capacity for knowing and for loving. And He is not in Himself such as to leave the demands of the soul unsatisfied. No intangible principle, no impersonal essence or mere abstraction, can satisfy the needs and longings of human beings in this life of struggle with sin and sorrow and pain. It is not enough to believe in law and force, in things that have no pity, and never hear the cry for help. We need to know of an almighty arm that will hold us up, of an infinite Friend that pities us. We need to clasp a hand that is warm, to trust in a heart full of tenderness. And even so God has in His Word revealed Himself.” {FLB 54.3}

Spiritual things are spiritually discerned. The carnal mind cannot comprehend these mysteries. . . . The worldly-wise have attempted to explain upon scientific principles the influence of the Spirit of God upon the heart. The least advance in this direction will lead the soul into the mazes of skepticism. The religion of the Bible is simply the mystery of godliness; no human mind can fully understand it, and it is utterly incomprehensible to the unregenerate heart.” {FLB 54.4}

The nature of the Holy Spirit is a mystery. Men cannot explain it, because the Lord has not revealed it to them. Men having fanciful views may bring together passages of Scripture and put a human construction on them; but the acceptance of these views will not strengthen the church. Regarding such mysteries, which are too deep for human understanding, silence is golden. {FLB 54.5}

Discussing WHO the Holy Spirit is, is a different matter from discussing WHAT the nature of the Holy Spirit is. Ellen White says WHO the Holy Spirit is. We don’t know the nature of the Holy Spirit meaning its essence or substance. That is what Ellen White means when she says silence is golden. But we know what we are told by the Bible and the Holy Spirit gift to the church via Ellen G. White.

There are indeed mysteries to the subject of the Godhead and the personality of God and Christ that we will study for eternity says Ellen White. However, we can see from all the weight of evidence above that the obedient and regenerate hearts will fathom more of the mysteries than others and the study of the Incarnation ennobles the mind and gives a greater appreciation of the great sacrifice Christ made in His Incarnation to FOREVER FORFEIT HIS FORMER HOLY SPIRIT ONLY EXISTENCE and divest that existence from His human personality. It is Ellen White who tells us He made that sacrifice. All we have to do is believe it.

The NATURE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD IS A MYSTERY: Nature means the following. We don't know the fundamental qualities of God's Holy Spirit. That is what we are not to debate! One cannot know enough about PERSONALITY to discuss it intelligently without knowing the fundamental qualities. But we can know and discuss what the Holy Spirit has given us to KNOW AND UNDERSTAND and the obedient are given more than apostates who rationalize their apostasy and/or deny that it even exists.

Who the Holy Spirit Is and What He Does

"Christ declared that after his ascension, he would send to his church, as his crowning gift, the Comforter, who was to take his place. This Comforter is the Holy Spirit,--the soul of his life, the efficacy of his church, the light and life of the world. With his Spirit Christ sends a reconciling influence and a power that takes away sin.

In the gift of the Spirit, Jesus gave to man the highest good that heaven could bestow....

The Spirit was given as a regenerating agency, and without this the sacrifice of Christ would have been of no avail....

It is by the Spirit that the heart is made pure. Through the Spirit the believer becomes a partaker of the divine nature. Christ has given his Spirit as a divine power to overcome all hereditary and cultivated tendencies to evil, and to impress his own character upon the church." E.G. White, Review and Herald Articles, May 19, 1904, vol. 5, p. 42.

The Holy Spirit is:

·       The soul of the life of Christ.

·       The Comforter.

·       Christ’s highest good, crowing gift that heaven can bestow.

·       A regenerating agency—the cure for sin, without which the sacrifice of Christ on the cross would have been no avail but to keep on pardoning sin forever.

·       The means of Divine Power to overcome all hereditary and cultivated tendencies to evil and to impress His own character upon the church.

·       The Third Person of the Godhead, which accrued when the Son of God (Christ) divested His Holy Spirit from His human personality at the Incarnation, to wit:

"Cumbered with humanity Christ could not be in every place personally, therefore it was altogether for their advantage that He should leave them to go to His Father and send the Holy Spirit to be His successor on earth. The Holy Spirit [the soul of the life of Christ] is Himself divested of the personality of [Christ’s] humanity and independent thereof. He would represent Himself as present in all places by His Holy Spirit.” E.G. White, (Manuscript Releases Volume 14 (No’s 1081-1135) MR No.1084.

The humanity of the Son of God cumbered certain attributes of His former Divine Only Being. His Holy Spirit was divested from the personality of His humanity and AT THAT TIME became independent of His humanity, which we retain forever. So that is the highest good, crowning sacrifice Christ made in the heavenly Sanctuary BEFORE the cross. That Holy Spirit life He bequeathed to us for power to overcome every known hereditary tendency to evil, thus providing a cure for sin.

That same Holy Spirit descended upon the Saviour at His baptism. He could have returned to His DIVINE ONLY estate just before He died on the cross, but that would have forfeited the prescribed limit of a sacrifice which was death of the Testator, for while the Testator (Christ) should live, the Testament is of no strength. But as Jesus bowed His head on the cross, He commended His Holy Spirit to the Father as a gift to man. After His death on the cross, His second death, He could never return to His first estate of being, His Divine only nature—His Holy Spirit being which had existed from eternity for He said in Revelation that He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.

Hbr 9:16    For where a testament [is], there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.

Hbr 9:17    For a testament [is] of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

Three days and nights in the Tomb would not pay our wages of sin which is eternal death. He had to die to something FOREVER, and what He died to forever is His Divine Holy Spirit Nature (ONLY)—before being combined with humanity.

His Eternal Existence

Rev 1:8  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

Only Jesus is, was, and which is to come! The Father is not coming at the second appearing of Jesus.

Rev 1:11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send [it] unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

Rev 21:6  And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

Rev 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Eternal Sacrifice Divine Soul

Robert Sessler and his advocates say that the Son of God did not divest Himself of anything. That is direct contradiction of the Spirit of Prophecy and Scripture where it says Christ emptied Himself.

Phl 2:7  But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

Below is the SDA Bible Commentary on the above verse:

"7. Made himself of no reputation. Literally, 'emptied Himself.'  This emptying was voluntary (see on John 10:17, 18).  It was not possible for Christ to retain all the tokens of divinity and still accomplish the Incarnation.  The outworking of this emptying is detailed in the remainder of Phil. 2:7 and in v. 8.  See Vol. 5, p. 918."  SDA Bible Commentary, Vol. 7, p. 155, col. 1.

"The apostle would call our attention from ourselves to the Author of our salvation. He presents before us His two natures, divine and human. . . . He voluntarily assumed human nature. It was His own act, and by His own consent. He clothed His divinity with humanity. He was all the while as God, but He did not appear as God. He veiled the demonstrations of Deity which had commanded the homage, and called forth the admiration of the universe of God. He was God while upon earth, but He divested Himself of the form of God, and in its stead took the form and fashion of a man. He walked the earth as a man. For our sakes He became poor, that we through His poverty might be made rich. He laid aside His glory and His majesty. He was God, but the glories of the form of God He for awhile relinquished. . . . He bore the sins of the world, and endured the penalty which rolled like a mountain upon His divine soul. He yielded up His life a sacrifice, that man should not eternally die. He died, not through being compelled to die, but by His own free will." E.G. White, SDA Bible Commentary, Vol. 7a, p. 446.

He Became the Son of God in a New Sense

"Christ brought men and women power to overcome. He came to this world in human form, to live a man amongst men. He assumed the liabilities of human nature, to be proved and tried. In His humanity He was a partaker of the divine nature. In His Incarnation He gained in a NEW SENSE the title of the Son of God. Said the angel to Mary, 'The power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God' (Luke 1:35). While the Son of a human being, He became the son of God in a NEW SENSE. Thus He stood in our world--the Son of God, yet allied by birth to the human race." E.G. White, Selected Messages, vol. 1, p. 226.

Without the Heavenly Sanctuary Incarnation sacrifice which provided for us the Holy Spirit soul of His life BEFORE THE CROSS, the sacrifice on the cross would have been of no avail, because there would have been no power to keep us from sinning. The Trinity doctrine of Rome totally obfuscates that Heavenly Sanctuary sacrifice BEFORE THE CROSS, by teaching that the Holy Spirit always existed as a third person—thus, NO INCARNATION SACRIFICE of the Testator’s soul of His life as a “highest good, crowning gift” for man whereby he is enabled to overcome sin. And this is how the Trinity Doctrine, as a spiritualistic theory of man (emanating from Rome), sweeps away the entire Christian economy because it does not recognize the “highest good, crowning sacrifice heaven can bestow.”

"He (Christ) suffered the death which was ours, that we might receive the life which WAS His." Desire of Ages, p. 25 1 Cor. 11:24-265, cf. John 6:53, 54, Titus 3:5, 6.

"The Power of God in the Third Person.--The prince of the power of evil can only be held in check by the power of God in the third person of the Godhead, the Holy Spirit. -- Special Testimonies, Series A, No. 10, p. 37. (1897).

Bible Text Proving Ellen White Correct

Acts 3:26  Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

Ellen White says that evil can only be held in check by the power of God in the third person of the Godhead, the Holy Spirit. The Bible says God raised up Jesus to do that—turn every one from his iniquities. Ellen White’s interpretation of the Godhead thus demands that the Holy Spirit is the former soul of the life of Christ—the life that WAS HIS, that He might take the death that was ours.

"He (Christ) suffered the death which was ours, that we might receive the life which WAS His." Desire of Ages, p. 25 1 Cor. 11:24-265, cf. John 6:53, 54, Titus 3:5, 6.

What death was ours? Was it three days and nights in a tomb? Nay! It was eternal death. And Christ did not suffer eternal death on the cross. He suffered that death as separation from His past existence as HOLY SPIRIT DIVINE NATURE ONLY, at His Incarnation when He was combined with man forever.

It is the Holy Spirit of Jesus that is sent to us to turn every one of us from our iniquities.

“The sacrifice of Christ as an atonement for sin is the great truth around which all other truths cluster. In order to be rightly understood and appreciated, every truth in the word of God, from Genesis to Revelation, must be studied in the light that streams from the cross of Calvary. I present before you the great, grand monument of mercy and regeneration, salvation and redemption,--the Son of God uplifted on the cross. This is to be the foundation of every discourse given by our ministers.” Gospel Workers, 315.

"The spiritualistic theories regarding the personality of God [the Godhead], followed to their logical conclusion, sweep away the whole Christian economy. They estimate as nothing the light that Christ came from heaven to give John to give to His people. They teach that the scenes just before us are not of sufficient importance to be given special attention. They make of no effect the truth of heavenly origin, and rob the people of God of their past experience, giving them instead a false science." E.G. White, Selected Messages, Bk.1, p. 204.

Any theory on the Godhead that does not account the Holy Spirit as the former life, the soul of the life of Christ, and Christ as the Comforter, and how this accrued at the time of His Incarnation in the heavenly Sanctuary, does away with the heavenly Sanctuary/Atonement, and thus sweeps away the entire Christian economy. The SDA church teaches such an antichrist spiritualistic theory. The men named in this document teach such an antichrist spiritualistic theory. Rome’s central doctrine, the Trinity Doctrine, teaches such a spiritualistic theory, by saying there was always a third person to the Godhead, thus denying the heavenly Sanctuary/Atonement Incarnation Sacrifice at which time the Holy Spirit (Christ) became a third, distinct person, by divesting His former Holy Spirit Being, from the personality of His humanity, thus fulfilling the Testator’s covenant which demanded a permanent death to something on the part of the Testator, for the wages of sin is permanent, eternal death.

So if all of the above were not true, there has been no heavenly Sanctuary/Atonement BEFORE THE CROSS, which provided the cure for sin and without which, His death on the cross would have been to no avail but to pardon sin forever because of no proviso to cure sin and regenerate man back into the image of God.

Thus, those who teach error on the Godhead, sweep away the entire Christian economy and render the Sanctuary/Atonement as GONE, just as Kellogg did by saying the Holy Spirit always existed and was/is in all things (including man) without the sacrificial Sanctuary/Atonement Incarnation in the heavenly Sanctuary.

"The darkness rolled away from the Saviour and from the Cross. Christ bowed His head and died. In His Incarnation He had reached the prescribed limit as a sacrifice, but not as a redeemer." E.G. White Manuscript Releases Volume Twelve, p. 409.

What is the prescribed limit of the Testator Covenant? That the Testator die. What death did the Testator die? Our death. What was our death penalty for transgression of the law? Eternal death. Did Christ make any sacrifice that satisfied this eternal death payment for us? Yes He did. In His Incarnation, He laid aside His Holy Spirit life and soul--His PURE DIVINITY state of Being FOREVER, and another body was prepared for Him. In that other body, He was still FULLY DIVINE, but He was now combined with humanity FOREVER. This was the Son of Man IN A NEW SENSE, says Ellen White, a new person, a third person to the Godhead. If this is not true, there would be four persons to the Godhead:

1.    God the Father.

2.    God the Son.

3.    God the Holy Spirit.

4.    God the Son combined with Humanity forever says Ellen White and Scripture.

Christ as a man forever -- Hebrews 7:24 But this [man], because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.

Will His humanity cumber His Holy Spirit Divine Only nature forever? Of course, because He will be combined with man forever.

 "By His life and His death, Christ has achieved even more than recovery from the ruin wrought through sin. It was Satan's purpose to bring about an eternal separation between God and man, but in Christ we become more closely united to God than if we had never fallen. In taking our nature, the Saviour has bound himself to humanity by a tie that is never to be broken. Through the eternal ages He is linked with us. 'God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son.' [John 3:16]. He gave Him not only to bear our sins, and to die as our sacrifice He gave Him to the fallen race. To assure us of His immutable counsel of peace, God gave His only Begotten Son to become one of the human family forever to retain His human nature. This is the pledge that God will fulfill His word. 'Unto us a child is born unto us a son is given and the government shall be upon His shoulder.' God has adopted human nature in the person of His Son, and has carried the same into the highest heaven. It is the 'Son of man' who shares the throne of the universe. It is the 'Son of man' whose name shall be called, 'Wonderful, Counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the prince of Peace.' [Isa. 9:6]. The I Am is the Daysman between God and humanity, laying His hand upon both. He who is 'holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners,' is not ashamed to call us brethren. [Heb. 7:26 2:11.] In Christ the family of earth and the family of heaven are bound together. Christ glorified is our brother. Heaven is enshrined in humanity, and humanity is enfolded in the bosom of Infinite love." The Desire of Ages, 25.

In chapter one of The Great Controversy, is recounted the story of a man who roamed the streets of Jerusalem for seven years crying about the abominations of the Jewish church. But that man was lost in the destruction he prophesied. This proves that sighing and crying for the abominations is not sufficient. We must teach the truth and only the truth. It will constitute unpardonable sin if such men as named in this document (and their followers) continue to teach antichrist doctrine on such an important issue as the Godhead, which Ellen White said was/is a pillar, landmark doctrine of the true SDA church. The church has forsaken the truth on that pillar and some independent ministries have done the same thing, which results in a denial of the heavenly Sanctuary/Atonement Incarnation and what accrued at that crowning, highest good sacrifice of our Saviour. They thus render the Sanctuary/Atonement GONE.

Kellogg’s pantheism did the same thing:

In the Alpha of apostasy, Ellen White was called upon to rebuke those who presented pantheistic sentiments, who were teaching that the power we see manifested in nature is a mere impersonal essence. This impersonal essence, they call God! The result is that there is no personal God, no personal Christ, no personal heavenly Sanctuary/Atonement Incarnation sacrifice which fulfilled the Testator’s Everlasting Covenant. Thus:

"The spiritualistic theories regarding the personality of God [the Godhead], followed to their logical conclusion, sweep away the whole Christian economy. They estimate as nothing the light that Christ came from heaven to give John to give to His people. They teach that the scenes just before us are not of sufficient importance to be given special attention. They make of no effect the truth of heavenly origin, and rob the people of God of their past experience, giving them instead a false science." E.G. White, Selected Messages, Bk.1, p. 204.
