Dear Friends,

I was sorely perplexed by Ellen White's statements on Ezekiel 9, which say that there is a separation from sin and sinners BEFORE the shaking takes place. I asked God to explain that perplexity to me. I was blessed this A.M. with a vision giving the beautiful answer to my questions.

The vision I was given this A.M., involves further crucial details of a most startling message that professing Seventh-day Adventists have glossed over without noticing. It involves E.G. White statements about the time frame of the shaking and the sealing and how that time frame affects the church's commonly held notion of who is separated from whom. I have been given portions of this vision before, but this vision was to provide an understanding of Ellen White's comments on Ezekiel 9. Those who understand the serious implications of Ellen White's following comments on Ezekiel 9, will never be the same again!

Here are Ellen White's astounding statements from her comments on Ezekiel 9 in the SDA Bible Commentary: Here is the order of the sealing and the shaking per her statements:

The Seal is Placed on All Who are Separated From Sin and Sinners:

1. "The angel with the writers ink horn is to place a mark upon the foreheads of all who are separated from sin and sinners and the destroying angel follows this angel. E.G. White, Letter 12, 1886, E.G. White Comments, SDA Bible Commentary, 7a, p. 1161.

The Shaking Occurs AFTER the Sealing has Taken Place!

"Just as soon as the people of God are sealed in their foreheads--it is not any seal or mark that can be seen, but a settling into the truth, both intellectually and spiritually, so they cannot be moved--just as soon as God's people are sealed and prepared for the shaking, it will come. Indeed, it has begun already: the judgments of God are now upon the land, to give us warning, that we may know what is coming (MS 173, 1902). E.G. White Comments, Ezekiel 9, SDA Bible Commentary, Vol. 7a, p. 1161.

God's people are the True Reformers, the Third Angel who separates the wheat from the tares. These True Reformers are also the bride of Christ. They are the first separated from sin and sinners so that they can effect the shaking of the guests from the fallen churches. This will be proven beyond the possibility of a doubt in this document.

The Serious Implications of the Above Statements by Ellen White

  • The Separation of the True Reformers (the bride) from sin and sinners takes place BEFORE the SHAKING. God showed me that this process has occurred in every generation.
  • Most professing Seventh-day Adventists have believed for decades that the shaking will consist of sinners leaving the church militant (wheat and tare co-ed church), to leave it the thus purged and purified church triumphant.
  • It is apparent from the above Ellen White statements, that FIRST, there is a separation from sin and sinners, and then the SEAL of God is placed upon them.
  • The Seal is a settling into the truth, both intellectually and spiritually, so they cannot be moved.
  • Then the Shaking occurs, by which the True Remnant, Zion, the Bride, (Isaiah 62:1-5) the True Reformers, shake all the true believers in or out of the Kingdom of God Church, Hebrews 12:22, 23 and Matthew 13:47-50.
  • The Shaking consists of the true testimony of the True Witness, and all who reject that testimony shake themselves out of the Kingdom of Heaven's church, Heb. 12:22, 23.

The True Reformers are the Third Angel, the Bride, who Does the Separating of Sin and Sinners

The Heavenly church of Hebrews 12:22, 23, is Zion. Zion is the Bride who is married, Isaiah 62:1-5. Zion is the earthly representative of the Heavenly Zion church. She represents Heavenly Jerusalem. Zion has a message for her daughter (v. 11), the "guests" whom Ellen White distinguishes from the bride, The Great Controversy, p. 426-7. Notice:

"The marriage represents the reception by Christ of His kingdom. The Holy City, the New Jerusalem, which is the capital and representative of the kingdom, is called 'the bride, the Lamb's wife.' Said the angel to John: 'Come hither, I will show thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.' 'He carried me away in the spirit,' says the prophet, 'and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God.' Revelation 21:9, 10. Clearly, then, the bride represents the Holy City, and the virgins that go out to meet the bridegroom are a symbol of the church [militant]. In the Revelation the people of God are said to be the guests at the marriage supper. Revelation 19:9. If guests, they cannot be represented also as the bride...He will receive the New Jerusalem, the capital of His kingdom, 'prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.'" E. G. White, The Great Controversy, 426, 427.

  • The Bride is not the guests and vice versa.
  • The bride, Zion, the true remnant that goeth forth from Jerusalem, Isaiah 37:31, 32, and that lives in the final generation just before Christ comes, is translated without seeing death.
  • The bride is the remnant, the last generation living just before Christ comes:

"The woman is a symbol of the church, and the remnant of the church represents the Christians of the last generation of men, living just prior to the second advent. The dragon makes war on these for keeping the commandments of God, Sabbath and all, and having the testimony of Jesus Christ, which, according to the inspired definition of chap. xix, 10, 'is the spirit of prophecy.' Here, then, are the causes of the dragon's warfare upon the remnant. They teach the observance of the ten commandments, and the revival of the gifts, and acknowledge the gift of prophecy among them. When the Devil got one foot upon the fourth commandment, and the other upon the gifts planted in the Christian church by Jesus Christ, then his satanic majesty was filled with revengeful delight. But when the remnant, whom God designs to fit for translation to Heaven without seeing death, 'ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein,' then the dragon is wroth, and makes war on them.
"The true spirit of the dragonic host, which is already being somewhat developed, is vividly described in Isa. xxx, 8-13, as being manifested just prior to the sudden destruction of those who hate the pure testimony, and love smooth and deceitful things." E. G. White, Spiritual Gifts, Vol. III, 26, 27.

God's Beloved Bride was Separated in Jeremiah's Day From the Prevailing Apostasy

The bride of every era is not defiled with women or fallen churches. She is without guile in every era of the church. She has existed in every generation as a faithful earthly representative of the Heavenly Jerusalem or Zion Kingdom church of Hebrews 12:22, 23. In the prevailing iniquity of Jeremiah's generation, she was separated from the apostate church:

"Therefore pray not thou for this people (the Apostate Jewish church), neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble (Jacob's time of trouble in an end-time application).
What hath my beloved (BRIDE) to do in mine house (church), seeing she (the church) hath wrought lewdness with many, and the holy flesh (God) is passed from thee? when thou doest evil, then thou rejoicest (celebrates--as the professing SDA church is now doing)." Jeremiah 11:14, 15.

Synopsis of my Vision of June 19, 2005:

The Bride is purified and sealed (SEPARATED FROM SIN AND SINNERS) first, and then, she, as The Third Angel, faithful men, True Reformers, separates the wheat from the tares with a straight testimony warning message.

The bride of Christ, Zion, acts or speaks by due authority in the place or on the behalf of the heavenly Kingdom of God. The bride is the same as the 144,000, is the same as Philadelphia, is the same as New Jerusalem, is the same as the Representative of the heavenly Kingdom church triumphant of Hebrews 12:22, 23. Ellen White said that she saw that only the 144,000 enter the temple on Mt. Zion, Early Writings, p. 19.

The above scenario is corroborated by scripture in Revelation 3:12, wherein Philadelphia is made "a pillar in the temple of my God." Zion is the leadership, the royal priesthood of the heavenly kingdom church. On earth she is an army of Swift Messengers, True Reformers, who give a message of warning and truth to the people, the church body, if they will accept that message. Their salvation depends on their acceptance of God's representatives and their shaking, sifting message.

"Characteristics of True Reformers.--Here are given the characteristics of those who shall be reformers, who will bear the banner of the third angel's message, those who avow themselves God's commandment-keeping people, and who honor God, and are earnestly engaged, in the sight of all the universe, in building up the old waste places. Who is it that calls them, The repairers of the breach, The restorers of paths to dwell in? It is God. Their names are registered [written--Heb. 12:22, 23] in heaven as reformers, restorers, as raising the foundations of many generations." E. G. White, SDA Bible Commentary, Vol. 4, 1151. Also see Hebrews 12:22, 23.

From the above statement, who is it that FIRST awakens the True Reformers? Who calls them? God Himself. Then the voice of God and the voice of the bride, the true Reformers, awakens the ten virgin guests at the wedding. Christ's Object Lessons, pp. 405-6.

It is the bride who is first separated from sin and sinners, and then she effects the shaking of the people of God, the guests, from sin and sinners in the Loud Cry message to the world.

"I was shown that the THIRD ANGEL, proclaiming the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus, represents the PEOPLE who receive this message and raise the voice in warning to the world." Testimonies for the Church, vol. 1, 77.

"I then saw the THIRD ANGEL. Said my accompanying angel, 'Fearful is his work. Awful is his mission. He is the angel that is to select the wheat from the tares, and seal, or bind, the wheat for the heavenly garner." E.G. White, Early Writings, 118.

"The angel represented in prophecy as delivering this message, symbolizes a class of faithful men, who obedient to the promptings of God's Spirit and the teachings of his word, proclaim this warning to the inhabitants of earth. This message WAS NOT to be committed to the religious leaders of the people." E.. White, The Spirit of Prophecy, vol. 4, 199, 200.

"The third angel's message will not be comprehended, the light which will lighten the earth with its glory will be called a false light, by those who refuse to walk in its advancing glory." E.G. White, Review and Herald, 5-27-1890, p. 321.

God showed me that my vision is a revelation of that "advancing glory," and that since all truth is contingent upon itself, I must reconcile this vision with past truth shown to me. Thus, it is a combination of new revelation with that of the past, the main part of which is to give further delineation of Ellen White's meaning in saying that the shaking was to occur AFTER the separation from sin and sinners.

"Christ was a protestant...The Reformers date back to Christ and the apostles. They came out and separated themselves from a religion of forms and ceremonies. Luther and his followers did not invent the reformed religion. They simply accepted it as presented by Christ and the apostles." E.G. White, Review and Herald, vol. 2, 48, col. 2.

"The Sanhedrin had rejected Christ's message and was bent upon His death; therefore Jesus departed from Jerusalem, from the priests, the temple, the religious leaders, the people who had been instructed in the law, and turned to another class to proclaim His message, and to gather out those who should carry the gospel to all nations. As the light and life of men was rejected by the ecclesiastical authorities in the days of Christ, so it has been rejected in every succeeding generation. Again and again the history of Christ's withdrawal from Judea has been repeated. When the Reformers preached the word of God, they had no thought of separating themselves from the established church; but the religious leaders would not tolerate the light, and those that bore it were forced to seek another class, who were longing for the truth. In our day few of the professed followers of the Reformers are actuated by their spirit. Few are listening for the voice of God, and ready to accept truth in whatever guise it may be presented. Often those who follow in the steps of the Reformers are forced to turn away from the churches they love, in order to declare the plain teaching of the word of God. And many times those who are seeking for light are by the same teaching obliged to leave the church of their fathers, that they may render obedience." E.G. White, Desire of Ages, 232.

The Prophesied Fall of The Professing Seventh-day Adventist Church

"Jesus sends HIS PEOPLE a message of warning to prepare them for his coming. To the prophet John was made known the closing work in the great plan of man's redemption. He beheld an angel flying 'in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his Judgment is come; and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters [Rev. 14:6, 7.].

The angel represented in prophecy as delivering this message, symbolizes a class of faithful men, who, obedient to the promptings of God's Spirit and the teachings of his word, proclaim this warning to the inhabitants of earth. This message was not to be committed to the religious leaders of the people. They had failed to preserve their connection with God, and had REFUSED THE LIGHT FROM HEAVEN; therefore they WERE NOT of the number described by the apostle Paul: 'But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day; we are not of the night nor of darkness [1 Thess. 5:4, 5].

The watchmen upon the walls of Zion should be the first to catch the tidings of the Saviour's advent, the first to lift their voices to proclaim him near, the first to warn the people to prepare for his coming. But they were at ease, dreaming of peace and safety, while the people were asleep in their sins. Jesus saw HIS CHURCH, like the barren fig-tree, covered with pretentious leaves, yet destitute of precious fruit. There was a boastful observance of the forms of religion, while the spirit of true humility, penitence and faith--which alone could render the service acceptable to God--was lacking. Instead of the graces of the Spirit, there were manifested pride, formalism, vainglory, selfishness, oppression. A BACKSLIDING CHURCH closed their eyes to the signs of the times. God did nor forsake them, or suffer his faithfulness to fail; but they departed from him, and SEPARATED THEMSELVES from his love. As they REFUSED TO COMPLY WITH THE CONDITIONS, his promises were NOT FULFILLED to them." E.G. White, The Spirit of Prophecy, vol. 4, pp. 199-200 [The 1884 edition of The Great Controversy, NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH TESTIMONIES, VOL 4].

The Voice of God and the Bride Awakens the Ten-Virgins

Further corroborating evidence is the fact that Ellen White was shown that it is the Voice of God AND THE BRIDE that awakens the 10 sleeping virgins, because "they all slept." Matthew 25. See Christ's Object Lessons, pp. 405-6.

It is apparent from all these revelations that the Bride is separated from sin and sinners FIRST, and then it is she who separates the wheat from the tares and thorns by her shaking testimony. Whoever receives her warning message will be shaken into the heavenly garner (Kingdom) of Matthew 13:47-50 and Hebrews 12:22, 23.

Another view of this is Ezekiel 20:34-38, where the bride is brought out from the people to the wilderness. Ellen White says that the Loud Cry will be given from wilderness outposts. By the message of the bride from those outposts, the rebels are purged from the church triumphant, the heavenly Kingdom. So it is by and from the church triumphant, Zion, True Jerusalem, that the tares and thorns are separated and not from the church militant, as commonly misapprehended by professing Seventh-day Adventists. The dross (tares and thorns) are gathered into the midst's of Jerusalem (the church) for burning and melting, just as in the prefigure of A.D. 70, Ezekiel 22:17-31.

May God bless the Study and Discernment of His Word,
